It's 1810. The Knicks on a nine-point run. Have an eight-point lead. McConnell PERSON left-side wing. Cross court, perimeter right, Halliburton, wide open, and hits a crowd silencing three. Seacob runs the break, bounce past past McConnell PERSON, far corner, catch and shoot, and that's Ben Shepard for three. He has been terrific in these playoffs from outside the arc. McConnell, back to Neesmith, five to shoot.Neesmith ORG drives, got to the hoop, bounced it to the corner. Nemhart beat the shot clock, but missed the three. Rebound tap to the near sideline, controlled by Jackson PERSON. He gives it to Nemhart PERSON, who drives and makes a beautiful bounce pass into the near corner, and the suddenly automatic shepherd hits another three. 64 to 56, Indiana by 8.Halliburton ORG brings it ahead. He's on the logo. It's center court. Played out there at the top of the arc by heart. Turner sets a screen. On the move, it's Halliburton ORG. Right hand to the foul line. Kicks it out to the right edge. Seacum PERSON shovels to the center of the floor.Leifepin hands to Halliburton who unloads and hits yet another three. Razors in trouble, down nine. On top, leading in, hoping for a foul call. Halliburton missed a three. New York GPE rebounds. Brunson PERSON up the floor. And he's fouled with 33 and nine, 10 seconds to go. Josh Hart with his arms raised, inviting the fans to join the Nixon PERSON celebration. I think Carlis has been ejected. I don't see him over there on the bench. And that's a bit strategic on his part. The game is out of reach. He wants to make sure they know he's displeased and that's a technical foul that he will gladly take. Yeah for sure at this point

Speaker 13190.66s - 202.9s

you understand what the result is it's just a matter of the 33.9 ticking off but once again it's just been the small plays of this second half the nix just continue to wear on you.

Speaker 9203.42s - 243s

508 to the third. The whole world knows that Halberton's got a bad back. And Hart PERSON comes up and shoves him in the back. And it's all over Twitter right now. It's because a couple people of few people have showed it to me. And J.B. DeRose PERSON is looking right at it. You can see him. He's got vision of the play. And he shoves tirade in the corner and there's no whistle, right in the back. And so that was shocking. You know, small market teams deserve an equal shot. They deserve a fair shot. No matter where they're playing. Hey, welcome in.

We're live at Ms. Sims PERSON. Home and Garden in Bargersville today. It is a glorious Thursday afternoon to join us out here. Now, this is an opening that it's been here for a bit, but you may still be a tad unaware of its location. Just a little bit south of Whiteland Road on State Road 135, and in fact, only four miles from where I live. So I think this may be the closest in which to my home in proximity I've ever done a show. Now, I wish I had better news for your favorite NBA ORG team, and we'll get to that. But I want to make sure that you know over the course of the next three hours, we have great deals here, and we have the opportunity for you to win a $200 gift card. So if you're thinking about spring and summer and, of course, Mother's Day coming up, they have an incredible greenhouse, brighten up everything, make your mom happy, the mother in your life happy, with great stuff from Ms. M's home and garden.Again, in Bargersville off of State Road 135 FAC, just a little bit south of Whiteland Road on 135 FAC. We'll talk to, I think Mary PERSON's going to pop in a little bit later on in the show, and I'm sure Brian or somebody will, maybe even some other folks as we are here. But I want to get to last night's game, and you heard that, of course, Mark Boyle and Eddie Gill PERSON, Pacers Radio Network. You heard the thoughts of course, Mark Boyle and Eddie Gill, Pacer's Radio Network ORG.You heard the thoughts of Rick Carlisle after the game. And I'm going to get to all that in a second because that pissed a few people off about the whole small market thing or the whole whining about the officiating. I'll get to that coming up because there is so much about these first two games, and especially last night in game number two, I'm not going to lose side of what is important, and that is still the way this team is playing on the floor, which does not match what New York GPE consistently, and meanwhile losing bodies left and right, have been able to do through these first two games to go up to zip in that best of seven. I said last night that the Pacers ORG got out efforted. And then obviously when you say something like that, everybody kind of goes ballistic. Well, who are you to say? No, it's not that. And then I get all these analytics nerds climbing up my rear end about, well, look at these numbers, whenever so-and-so is in there.Listen, if you can't see that, then I don't know what I have for you because it's easy to see. And when I say that, out-efforted. And I think I'm actually making a word, but you'll have to give me a pause here because because it's easy to see. And when I say that, out-efforted. And I think I'm actually making a word, but you'll have to give me a pause here because my vocabulary is not that deep. I think we all understand that.I'm not very bright. So I say out-efforted. And when I say that, that doesn't mean that the Pacers ORG are half-ass in it, are not playing hard. They are. They're giving an effort. There's no question about it, especially what you have seen with the guys off the bench. The effort is there, but they have been unable to match or sustain the level of effort that the Knicks ORG give. Now, you see the Knicks ORG doing that, and I know deeply rooted basketball people like me, you get a little bit jealous because you love to hear about your favorite team out working the other. But that's true. And again, I don't care what any of youmathematics nerds want to send to me. I don't care. You can watch it and you can see it. And I will tell you why it happens in terms of New York GPE. It's because they have to play that way to have success. To execute, to produce, and then to have that success, they can't back off the pedal. They just can't. Look at it in terms of the Pacers ORG. And let's just face it,this is what got the Pacers last night. That third quarter, you score 18 points in the third stinking quarter. And normally this season, the third quarter has been very kind to the Pacers ORG. But in that third quarter, you couldn't do anything. You got outscored 36 to 18. You're a team that doesn't play defense well. And all these band-aids we put on it conversationally over the course of the season about, well, maybe they are getting better here, getting better there. They are not a good defensive team. And what is I, I've always told you this. I've always told you that they are not good enough defensively to stall offensively. And then think about that. They come out of the half up 10 and the lead is immediately blown and gone. And again, a 10-point lead in any form of basketball is nothing any longer, especially the NBA ORG.You look back, the Pacers initially got down 11. They went on, what, an 11-0 run in like under a minute. And I had people sending me stuff about, well, this game's over. They're done. And then next thing you know, by the time you hit Send, games tied. And then they have a lead. And then they thing you know, by the time you hit Send, games tied. And then they have a lead. And then they take an advantage. It is about staying offensively consistent because the way they are right now, personnel-wise, they are not going to do much more defensively. You think about what the Knicks ORG have accomplished on the offensive end so far is very impressive. They put up a buck 30 last night. This did look like a Pacer ORG regular season game. It's just that we were used to in the regular season, the Pacer's putting up 135 FAC and then winning. And that's the way they're built. That's how they win. That's what we've watched this season. That's how they have produced and won games this season. And it's been fun to watch. But for the Knicks ORG, it is about giving more effort than anybody else on the floor because they have to. They're down bodies. There's no Julius Randall PERSON.You saw what happened to Jalen Brunson last night. He goes out, comes back in, and you knew it. Nobody was holding their breath thinking he was going to be out, even if TNT ORG couldn't find their ass with both hands last night and trying to tell you what was going on. I mean, heck, I thought he was grabbing around his groin area. I thought it looked likethe guy just got kind of hitting the nuts or something. And then, you know, all of a sudden, it's his foot. So whatever, you knew he was going to come back. I will say this. I have a great deal of admiration for Jalen Brunson PERSON. And I know he's on the other team and I know you want to see him play badly. But that's the type of dude you can get behind right there. Because we loosely use the term, the description dog, or at least you do. I sound stupid saying it because I'm 54.But if you're younger, you'll use the word dog to describe a really good player. You know, somebody that stays after it. And really, in basketball right now, if you look up in the basketball dictionary of dog, D-A-W-G, Jalen Brunson PERSON would have his picture right next to it. That's exactly what he is.You can count on him. He may not be a great defensive player, but he is going to make up for it at every single capacity. And right now, he's front and center at being able to get whistles. And I'm assuming he played through at least a little bit of pain in the foot. What did I tell you yesterday, by the way, too? You always play better, right? When things are going positive for you. Always, especially offensively. He came out there, was kind of limping around a little bit, you know, favoring that foot, kind of picking at the brace when he first got back out thereon the second half. And then he comes in and he hits a floater. And you can tell my man is on a run because everything he puts up on the rim bounces nine times and goes in. Whatever he's doing right now is working. And a lot of that is because he works his tail off. And I do have a great deal of admiration for that. But getting back again to being out-efforted, it doesn't mean that the Pacers ORG were playing without.I know that they were. I know that they were playing. They were playing hard even if the numbers don't ultimately reflect that. But they just have been unable, most of the time just reaching, but certainly have been unable to sustain at any level the amount of effort match it or overcome what the Knicks ORG are giving them. And that was going to be a major concern anyway. Look at it this way. If you stall and score 18 points in a quarter like they did last night, then you're really going to hurt yourself. You just have no other means in which to make that up. Well, we'll get some stops in the fourth quarter.Yeah, probably not. And we talked about that all year. And last night, more than anything else, their defense and that third quarter was the complete undoing to this team. Now, I will sit here right now and tell you this. If you're watching via the AAA membership lounge via YouTube ORG live,Miss M's Home and Garden in Bargersville today, love to see you out here. Great deals, a $200 gift card to give away lots of stuff for you just in time for Mother's Day. But if you're watching me right now inside the AAA membership lounge via YouTube ORG live, this thing is still hanging the balance. Because Nicks go up to zero, but Pacers go Friday and Sunday. And what they have to do is they just have to come out with the meaner mentality. I don't know if they have it in them. But even if it is long-term, not within their personality, you're going to have to invent something. Because everybody right now is trying to pull all these different leversto see if something is going to work. And I know that it's upsetting because this team again, and I'm right there with you, they had opportunities, especially in game number one. Now, I would say that they were wiped pretty much clean late in the fourth in game number one. Now, I would say that they were wiped pretty much clean late in the fourth in game number two. But the opportunity was there. They've had leads in both games, and they have given you moments to feel good. It's just the Knicks ORG are capable and able to access so much more than the Pacers ORG are. And they have to, because that's how they win. You look at them and you're not blown away by what they can give you talent wise andespecially with the bodies that they're down. But they have simply put with that effort and staying composed and the tough edge that they have. And we'll get to the officiating in a moment. All that combined and then playing off the enthusiasm of a rabid crowd in two games at Madison Square Garden FAC, they're able to take that to a different level. You watch the Pacers ORG defensively. Somebody told me last night, you know, why don't they double team Jalen Brunson PERSON? The one time they double team Jalen Brunson PERSON, the ball, I think, went around the horn and then found Dante DiVincenzo PERSON in the corner where there wasn't anybody in his general vicinity. So the hottest shooter on the floor just got a wide open lookthat most of you guys could hit at the YMCA from the corner. The easiest shot beyond the arc in the NBA ORG. Whatever they're doing right now is working and obviously in a lot of capacities, the pace are scuffled. And when I say out-efforted, it is true because they're just unable to get to where the Knicks ORG are. Now, are there a lot of other things playing into this? There's no question about that. And we'll get to those right now. People got all over the Pacers and Rick Carlisle for saying what he said last night. You heard that in our intro, Rick Carlisle played the officials card, and you knew he was going to.This is like basketball playoff coaching 101. And I mentioned the Phil Jackson PERSON playbook. That comes right out of it. Except Phil Jackson PERSON would do it consistently. You could just tell last night that Rick PERSON was calculated in getting tossed from that game when it didn't matter. And then he was calculated at the effect that he was trying to have on getting himself some calls when they come back here tomorrow night to play a Cambridge Fieldhouse in game number three. But this is not just relegated to, well, you know what, the Pacers or Winer ORG's, every coach does that. Every one. So I would have been disappointed if he wouldn't have, even if it would have been more appropriate to do it after game one, because if there was a game where the officiating played a significant role in the outcome, it was game number one. You know, last night between, you know, picking up the flag on the double dribble callor the push in the back, calling out by name J.B. DeRosa, I'm thinking probably what a $50,000 fine is what Rick PERSON is going to get for that. Because he also added in this, and I wish we would push away from it. Again, I understand his mentality and trying to do something about it because, again, all coaches have their ways and means in which they handle stuff like this in the postseason. But there is officially a Phil Jackson PERSON handbook. You open it up and it says, all right, we didn'tget a lot of calls in that game. So I'm going to see if we can change that vibe for the next game. Now, he also had a compliment of the greatest players of all time. He was coaching, but believe me, he did just that. And all coaches normally do it. Of course it is all lame last night. Of course there's no small market mentality of not wanting a small market team. What are you going to do about OKC GPE? That's like the smallest market out there, isn't it? I mean, hell, they're the best team out west. And if it's not, Minnesota GPE is. And look at Minneapolis GPE. What you have to understand is what Rick Carlisle did last night, was calculated, and it was performance-worthy. That's what it was. I'm sure he's mad. I'm sure he's mad about Tyrese Halliburton PERSON getting pushed in the back. I'm sure he's mad about the ridiculous Miles Turner moving screen call where Brunson PERSON flops or he's probably mad about Brunson. You know, muscling T.J. McConnell to the basket and getting the benefit of an and one because of that too when it was two offensive foul pushoffs. Again, that is the part of the stuff that I'm talking about. You have to figure out a way to match that. And you have to have a quicker hook. And I'll say this about Miles PERSON as well. You have to have a quick hook about Miles. Miles gave them nothing offensively last night. And if he's not going to have or be more of a threat defensively, then it's going to be a struggle for them if he gives them six points. It's going to be a struggle for them if Pascal Seaccombe PERSON yet another game like that and then gets done in early by OG Ananobe PERSON. If you're going one-on-one matchup, he got worked.Think about this for a moment. Ananoby had what, like 28 and then hurt his hamstring and went out, which will question coming up tomorrow and not his availability. And then you look at Isaiah Hardstein, stein looked like Stinking the Joker last night. He almost had a triple double. He fooled around and almost had a triple double. Those are numbers that this team cannot afford to give up. And as much as I've supported Miles PERSON of the past, you can't have that happen. And as much as I want to support Pascal Seacum PERSON, both ends, you've got to play. And if you're not going to give them anything offensively, you at least have to find something defensively. And he didn't. Obie Toppinlast night, to me, would have been a much better go-toe. Even if you had to do that late. And that's why I'm saying what I'm saying all along. It's now everybody's on board with getting McConnell PERSON in at the end of the game. How long has it been since I've said that? And even going back to the last series with the Bucks ORG, when T.J. McConnell didn't play well until game six, I mentioned that if he's out there for three minutes and he's not giving you what you want to get out of him. And somebody else is playing better than get him out. What I'm saying is you have to be a quicker decision maker and have a quicker hook. And when I say you have to ride with what is producing at that moment, ride with what is producing at that moment. And I know the guys that are starters, they have earned the starting nod. They have earned, as Rick Carlisle said after the game, the opportunity to close it, but not in terms of losing the game because of it.Truly, when you tell us that this is much different than how you handle things in the rig of the season, if you're Rick Carlisle, act like it. Because that doesn't. That didn't. And it should have. By now, everybody, I mean, I know everybody's piggybacking off of my whole T.J. McConnell idea, and that's okay. I'll love to lead the way on this. There are moments again, Milwaukee ORG, I said, you've got to get the guy out.But clearly, he is a tremendous've got to get the guy out. But clearly he is a tremendous threat whenever he's on the floor. And then I get last night in response from a couple of clowns, well, you know what? What are you going to do on defense? Still give up a lotof points because that's what you're going to do anyway. It didn't matter if he's out there or not. They're still going to give up points. But what he does is he gets you points. He gives you assist. He scores in the lane. He breaks down the defense, which is exactly what you needed late. And to look over on the bench and see him sitting there. And again, shout out to him because you say all the right things. And I do realize the fact that my whole conversation here is hindsight and it's 20-20. And these guys haveforgotten more about basketball than I will ever know. I respect that a great deal. But from 3 until 6, I am allowed. In fact, they tell me to give my opinion about this. And my opinion is seeing T.J. McConnell PERSON on ice on the sideline when things are going haywire, why are late, is not productive for this team. And it's not acting like that the postseason is different from theregular season, because this is how you would handle the regular season. And this is how you need to handle the Knicks ORG, T.J. McConnell, if anybody can come as close to matching the intensity and the effort that the Knicks, and especially those three Knicks ORG, give on every single trip down the floor, it is him. And to see him sitting there collecting dust at the end of the game, I mean, hell, even Stan Van Gundy and Reggie Miller mentioned it incessantly last night. So the word is out. The word is out.And I would have done as well with Obie Topin PERSON. I think Obie Toppin has had a great first two games so far. You just ride the hot player. I understand how these guys have earned it. I respect Nie Smith for earning it during the reg of the season. He didn't play well last night. Miles PERSON for earningit during the regular season. He didn't play well last night. I understand you have to have Siakum out there. Seacum did score, what, 15? But the thing about Siakam PERSON is he's going to be hackishacked here pretty soon if he's not careful becausehis free throw, when he got to the free throw line, my man's not close. He's got the Chuck Knoblock, Steve Sack's PERSON syndrome going right now from the free throw line. You know, you change things up with how you handled the end of the game and how you handled going after the officials after just a game earlier, suggesting that it shouldn't matter, you've got to play better. So you changed up, right? You went with a different blueprint. You went with a different idea to hopefully change things around for the positive of your team. Why not the way that youcoach and your substitution patterns and the way you handle things, especially in closing time? and your substitution patterns and the way you handle things, especially in closing time. Get the Tyrese Halliburton coming up in just a minute as well. But those are three of the big things that I take away from last night. I know some of you don't want to hear about the officiating. I know others want to hear only about the officiating. As I tell you all the time, this whole bull crap about taking the high road on officiating, you can smooch it. Here's why. Because it matters just as much as it did in game number one as a player not playing well. As a coach, not making the right decision. It does matter. Game one, it magnified. It was mattered. Last night, I agree about it. I didn't care about the whole double dribble and then, you know, picking up the flag, give you an NFL ORG term right there, football term, the push in the back, all that while still playing in the game at the moment, you can just tell the way that thing was going. So to me, those don't stand out as muchas what we witnessed on Monday night. So coming off after Monday night, I thought we had plenty of room to talk about it, and everybody gives me the crap about the high road. And then, listen, I'm all over Rick PERSON about how he handles in-game situations and substitution patterns and rotation stuff in this series. But I'll give it up to Rick PERSON. Man, Rick had to play that card last night. You had to. Even if you're so high and mighty well, you know what? I'm tough and I would never blame it on officials. He had to do that. And if you don't realize that, you just simply don't know. Now, I probably wouldn't go on the small market route because I think that embarrasses all a little bit. I mean, it does me. I shouldn't say embarrasses. That's too much. But the whole small... And anything in to do with small market. But you can certainly play the officiating card. I don't think there's anything wrong with that. And, you know, that's, again, you held that. You held that back after game number one,and you were going to see if you needed it. And then you played that after game number two last night. I mean, hell, you knew it was coming. All right, quick break, and we'll come back. James gets some calls lined up for us. We've got a busy show, but I do want to get some reaction for you.I just wanted to get all those points across, because I think those are the points, and certainly the theme that really does matter so far with the Pacers being down 2ZIP in the best of 7. But at 239, 1070, I will react to you even if you didn't like what I said or you did. That is cool. The AAA ORG membership lounge via YouTube live, the stream and the app and HD Radio ORG as well. And I'd love to see you inBargarsville four miles from where I live. What a great trip today at Miss M's Home and Garden ORG. Just in time for Mother's Day this weekend. You know, one guy just said he didn't all dribble. But it looked to me like, you know, Tibbs went out there and argued it and they changed it. That's what it looked like. You know, one guy just said he didn't all dribble, but it looked to me like, you know,

Speaker 91766.54s - 1788.28s

Tibbs PERSON went out there and argued it and they changed it. That's what it looked like, you know, so I can only go by what I see, what I saw. And, you know, that's, that's small beans compared to everything else, you know, but, you know, small market teams deserve an equal shot. They deserve a fair shot, no matter shot, no matter where they're playing.

Speaker 171790s - 2018.46s

So Rick Carly from last night, listen, I love being local and I love a small market. I've always wanted to be here, and I'm proud to be here. But I do cringe at that. I understand where he's going with it all. I just didn't think you had to roll in with the small market, especially when the smallest of markets is having such an outstanding season, for example, at OKC GPE. Or I don't know how big market size Minneapolis GPE is, but you look at what Minnesota is doing as well with the Timberwolves ORG. That, to me, doesn't play a role. But man, if you want to go after, and I mean hard and heavy, with the officiating, if you're at Carlisle PERSON, I'll do it.And again, if you're going to say, well, he's just whining about it. Well, yes, he's whining about it, but it's tactical. There's a reason why he's doing it. I'm not as much worried about that as I'm worried about, can we like do some different rotations late? Can you stop stifling what is working? And it has. That's what I'm more worried about. That's where I want to see the progression. There's no doubt. I want to see calls. And I know that the Pacers ORG have had to live through some bad ones. What, 78 or 79 in all? I mean, hell, it'll take that group at the NBA League office about three days to go through all that. But at the same time, that is a card that you knew at some point he was going to play after game number one. is a card that you knew at some point he was going to play after game number one. I'm more concerned about how you handle endgame situations when it's closing time. And the Knicks ORG playing all these close games and being successful in all these close games. You have to overcome that. And what we have seen so far in the first two games, and especially considering the officiating game one, it's not working. I'm more worried about that than I am, you know, whether or not you're upset because he embarrassed you of whining about the officials. Who cares if you're upset? So what? I'm more worried about how he down the stretch coaches things up.You know, why do you say that the postseason is different? And then you coach it up an endgame situation like it's the same as a game in December. That's what I want to see change. Yeah, whatever. And listen, there's nothing. I love, I would embrace griping about the officials.I love that stuff. And then I get the old high and mighty, you know, the old coach, the old crusty coach. By the way, too. And I know that I've been blocked, I think, in the past by a few that bristle when officiating is criticized in the NBA ORG. So is Rick Carlisle getting blocked for that right now? I think the voice of the Pacers is blocking Rick PERSON right now?Probably not. Because he's using that for a reason and it's understandable. I just want to see him do more and what I feel would be better in endgame situations especially, or just riding longer guys that are productiveor realizing sooner, quicker, that guys that aren't. That's all I'm saying. Especially if you view the postseason differently than you do the regular season. All right. 239, 1070, I promise you guys a little bit of input this afternoon again. Miss Hems Home and Garden.Bargersville are location, a $200 gift card to give away. I've already seen a lot of great friends and listeners to the show. Thank you all for joining us. It's Bargersville, our location, a $200 gift card to give away. I've already seen a lot of great friends and listeners to the show. Thank you all for joining us. It's Bargersville State Road 135 is our location today. Let's lead with Aaron here on line 1 at 239, 1070. James.Hello, Aaron. How are you? Good, how are you? Hey, Jambi PERSON.

Speaker 162018.62s - 2026.46s

I have two questions. I'm going to get an offer here. Do you think we miss Maverin PERSON and would he really make a difference right now? And then my second place is.

Speaker 172026.82s - 2044.66s

I think, yeah, I do. I mean, it's not something that I'm going to lean on as, well, this is a big difference and this is why you're losing. But could they use his blanket attitude of, I don't care what's going on? I just want to go out there and kick the crap out of you? Absolutely. They could use that.

Speaker 02044.66s - 2050.56s

They could use that mentality, especially against this team that has multiple dudes that have a

Speaker 162050.56s - 2056.02s

similar mentality. No question. The second question is at the end of the year, do you think Pascal

Speaker 172056.02s - 2063.46s

Seaccombe resigns or do you think he goes somewhere else? I believe that there's no way in the world

Speaker 162063.46s - 2065.94s

that they will not extend him.

Speaker 172066.1s - 2114.1s

And I know that that is within question right now. And when you play like that, see, it's weird, right? Because in those first two games against Milwaukee ORG, you thought, hey, this is the greatest deal of all time. And now you look at it, especially the way that he got worked by Annanobie last night, as, man, there's no way in the world you can pay that. But I will sit here and tell you this, knowing what I know, there's no way in the world you can pay that. But I will sit here and tell you this, knowing what I know, there's no way in the world they're not going to. They're absolutely going to sink that much money and extend him. No question. That's all I got. Love your show, buddy. Aaron, thank you very much for the call.Miss M's home and garden in Bargarsville is our location today. John's on line 2 at 239, 1070. John PERSON, welcome to the show. Hey, J&B, it's John Martin PERSON. What's up, man? John Martin PERSON, what's happening?I'm not too far from where you used to work and work out.

Speaker 82114.46s - 2135.12s

Where we used to play hoop, not too far from it, brother? Yeah, I'm going to, I'm heading down to CGX CrossFit ORG. I'm going to stop in on my way, all right? Oh, cool, man. Love to see you. What you got?So why did Tibino PERSON not have to use his challenge to get that double-dribble call overturned? Pardon one more time, John PERSON?

Speaker 172135.76s - 2140.64s

So I was mad that Tibido, he didn't have to use his challenge to get that double-dribble call

Speaker 82140.64s - 2142.52s

overturned. They just overturned it.

Speaker 172142.68s - 2179.88s

No. It was explained to me that the officiating crew have the option to get together and in a situation like that they changed the call. That's how it was explained to me. It was like rule 5.259 or something that I looked up. That when one guy, when one guy, you know, makes the call and others see that it's inaccurate, that you're allowed, and that's why I've been describing it as picking up the flag in terms of football. I thought last night it was comical, but the more people tell me that that's the option that the officials of the NBA ORG have. Got it.

Speaker 82180.5s - 2180.82s

Okay.

Speaker 172180.96s - 2238.16s

Yeah, I was confused by that. John PERSON, you got it, buddy. I'll see you just a little bit, man. Good to hear from you. All right, man. See you soon. John PERSON, you got it, buddy. I'll see you just a little bit, man. Good to hear from you. All right, man, see you soon. Good dude, John Martin PERSON right there.Like, officiating-wise, I am not at all, even close to being as upset about last night as I was Monday. I thought Monday led directly to. Now, were there ways in which the Pacers could have played better than one? Yes. But I thought Monday, the bad, the lousy, the awful officiating had a profound effect on that game. Last night, not so much. The profound effect came from the local basketball teamand simply put it just absolutely has to be better has to be better Eric's on line 3 at 239 1070 hello Eric PERSON how are you hey JMV

Speaker 62238.16s - 2307.86s

I think you're hitting the nail right on the head with everything you're saying today as far as rotations you know you look at the box score day and you see, I mean, throughout the playoffs, O. B. Topping, T.J. McConnell PERSON's been the guys keeping us in the games. Obie Topping goes off in the first half. And then at the end of the game, he's only got 20 minutes in the game, but he's got 20 points. But for some reason, we're having Isaiah Jackson PERSON, and I love Isaiah Jackson, but he'sgot 15 minutes. He shouldn't even be within five minutes, so he'll be topping. Without question. And then on top of that, we know this being in Indiana GPE, nationally they may not know, but we probably got a top five, top 10 defender in the league of Neesmith ORG. Why wouldn't you throw Neath Smith PERSON? I mean, every fan that's in the stadium tomorrowshould be holding up a sign so Rick Harlow PERSON can see it. Put Neesmith on Brunson PERSON, make him feel uncomfortable, throw a bigger body on him. Because Tyrese and Gardner, Brunson, at least McConnell PERSON's putting a body on him and make him feel uncomfortable, but put some lengths on it. I don't understand that at all.

Speaker 172308.7s - 2386.38s

Well, I thought the guys last night made a great point on TNT ORG, honestly, that at least McConnell PERSON's out there and he makes him work on both ends, especially Brunson PERSON matches up with himoffensively. You can say what you want about, TJ PERSON, but on both ends he makes you work. And I know everybody saw that end one where he got out muscled by Brunson PERSON is, well, there's no reason why how in the world can you have him guard Brunson PERSON, but he makes you work harder than any of these other guys do. And that's yet another reason why I question why in the world. And this has been me for thesefirst two games and I was on an island in that first game when I bring up what you know bring tj back if things aren't working and people say well you can't you know bench haliburton I say I'm not advocating benching haliburton you know bench anybody else you want to right now keep haliburton out there just get the presence of McConnell who has been a pest and a problem in the first two games of this series out there in closing time. And I thought last night, last night was magnified for how he would play with this group and how things may have been different. Again, over the course of that winning time late, and in the fact thathe sat over there on ice, is still mind-blowing to me.

Speaker 62386.88s - 2419.14s

Well, you even heard it at the end of the game with Brunson PERSON, or at halftime or at the end of the game, where Brunson is saying T.J. McConnell PERSON's making him feel uncomfortable and stuff, but they're friends and, you know, their competitors and stuff, so I like what T.J. PERSON is doing. But in my opinion, only T.J. Neesmiths PERSON should be guarding him.Because when Tyrese is out there, I love Tyrese, but he's not looking uncomfortable with me. Brunson PERSON is, like at all. You know? So, yeah, I appreciate it.

Speaker 172420.24s - 2639s

Hey, you call any time. Thank you. Yeah, it's funny. We got a lot of avenues in which to investigate today, and that's one. And before you say, well, these guys are much smarter than you, I'll give you that. There's no question about it. But when you watch this game, can you honestly tell me you sit at home and you thought theywouldn't be better off? And I don't care if it's Miles PERSON. I don't care if it's Seacom ORG. I just want to see Rick PERSON go with the most productive players at the moment. Exhaust it. Or in this case, if you want to run this thing rotationally as you normally do,because these guys earned it great. But can you reserve the right to make a change if it's not working as well or it's not as productive as it was? That's the part I don't understand, especially this time a year. You don't have a lot of opportunities to get this done. Obviously now, tomorrow night's a must-win situation. So that's the part I don't understand. So if you're keeping track in home,I'm an advocate of the change of pace with McConnell late as I have been, and you guys know that. I mean, hell, I mentioned that during the regular season a couple of times. I am also an advocate of complaining about the officiating because that's what coaches do in basicallyall circumstances this time a year. There's some sort of guideline playbook somewhere where you open it up and you're okay when things aren't going your way you're down zero to two and the best of seven and there's been some some chirping and chatter about the fouls then go ahead and play this card. Again, Phil Jackson PERSON was famous for doing that. I did have an issue with the small market thingbecause I think you could have left that out and been okay, but whatever. And then obviously, the Pacers ORG, to me, have been unable to reach a level of effort and intensity that the Knicks ORG can. That doesn't mean the Pacers ORG are without effort, but they have yet to be able to reach that levelagainst the team at times that are cobbling bodies together because they're losing guys. And maybe Ananobe sits coming up on Friday, and then Achua PERSON comes in and Achua gives guys the business. That's the type of crap that can't happen. That's the type of crap where effort and you out-efforting another team, you can see, no matter what the analytics will tell you now i don't want to hear that but that's what i'm talking about it's not the pacer's without effort but the nicks and winning at that level has been predicated on them never taking the foot off the gas when they're out there and you can tell whether it's a 50-50 bowl or getting to the rim or getting to the free throw line or just doing whatever it takes. They have done it through the first two games.Quick break will come back. Miss Hems, Home and Garden in Bargersville today, just a little south of Whitelander Road on 135 FAC. Speaker 112759.8s - 2761.5s

I just got one thing to hear from you.

Speaker 172761.54s - 2761.92s

Go ahead.

Speaker 112762.48s - 2764.66s

We just got one thing to say about what I observed.

Speaker 172765.54s - 2768.84s

The knick of backers are shooting the daylight out of it,

Speaker 112768.92s - 2770.66s

and if they keep shooting the ball like that,

Speaker 172771.22s - 2773s

I don't think we're going to be able to pull this one out.

Speaker 112773.1s - 2799.54s

Because I thought them getting about 110 at depth, and they've gone up to 130 and 1201, which would have both games. If they had scored what I thought they were good at scoring, but they're shooting and hitting every shot they've taken. So I hope Adanovi ORG don't play this next game. We might have a chance to get us one and then fill them back down in normalcy, but they really shoot the ball. And if they shoot like that, there ain't nothing we can do. The referees and everything else ain't going to be able to help us at that point.

Speaker 172800.86s - 2853.92s

Yeah, and you know what, I too, as I mentioned earlier, this all happens. I know you can just go out there and hit shots and, you know what, I too, as I mentioned earlier, this all happens. I know you can just go out there and hit shots and, you know, that can be viewed as, you know, the cure all for everything. But with this team, what they're able to do successfully is built upon how hard they play on the floor. And that's what's so amazing about it. You just don't often see that. These guys are really good, but they each, you know, even when injured obviously, make one another better, but they're able to have that success. You know, they get wide open looks from three. They drop those threes. They get to the basket because normally effort-wise,they're just going harder. Even if you are going hard, they win by going harder than you, which, you know, honestly, if it wasn't against the Pacers ORG, it would be fun as hell to watch. I agree.

Speaker 112854.22s - 2869.68s

And I'll tell you, I would have played topping, and I would have played McConnell PERSON coming down the stretch. I took the Yakum PRODUCT out, and I would have took them hard out that I would have fled them to there, because they've both been playing great ball against the Knits ORG all the way. So that's and I would have took them hard out that I would have fled them to there, because they've both been playing great ball against the Knicks ORG all the way.So that's what I would have done.

Speaker 172869.68s - 2934.18s

Mike, thank you. Thank you for the call. Listen, it had been Seacum or Miles PERSON. I mean, anybody late. And that's why I say, I just want to see productive guys closing. And if that happens to be Obie PERSON,who's had a great two games so far, it'll be Obie PERSON. If it's T.J. PERSON, let it be T.J. If it's Ben Shepard, if he's knocking down threes that you can trust, let it be, well, you're going to give up so much defensively. You're already given up a ton defensively, and there's not much more to go with lack thereof. So let's go with what's hot. Dustin DePirac on the other side, Indianapolis Star ORG, been in NYC for the first two back game three. I will tell you on the other side, however, why you should be excited more so than anything else about tomorrow night in game number three.I'll tell you that. Listen, I don't care who it is, but if things are going well, leave them in until it's not. And if you feel the need to put them in late, put them in late. If you have to squash some feelings, squash some feelings. But if you're going to tell me that it is different in the postseason, then don't coach it up like it's a regular season game in January. The Knicks up two games to none of the best of seven as the scene changes. The Gainbridge Fieldhouse coming up tomorrow night for game number three.Dustin DePurek PERSON, he joins us now. Dustin PERSON, thank you for the time. So what do you estimate here the type of fine Rick Carlisle is going to receive from the post game last night?

Speaker 73106.86s - 3111.84s

What's the general? Like 20K? 25, something like that? Is that kind of what the general tends to be?

Speaker 173112.58s - 3131.74s

Don't you think it's going to end up being like 50 because of the whole integrity of the league and especially considering the league is, you know, in some massive negotiation with future television rights? Don't you think maybe they'll come down a little bit harder than usual on him because of the whole small market thing? I mean, they could.

Speaker 73132.18s - 3179.52s

You know, they certainly could. I mean, I feel like that'd be a little bit of a stretch. I feel like they'd be on a little bit of shaking ground if they went to like 50. But, I mean, I don't know. It's possible. They certainly could say that you know your question on theintegrity of the league and suggesting that this is a conspiracy meant to build up, you know, big market programs. I mean, maybe he towed the line there and doesn't quite go, like it's not like he says this is what is happening. All of you are in cahoots and you're clearly getting money for it. You know, I mean, he's saying small market teams deserve a chance. That's not, you know, like, I don't know, maybe he's on the better side of that line in terms of what the fine's going to be. But, I mean, it'll be heavy. It'll be, you know, I mean, it'll be heavy if it were you or I, it'll be something that Rick PERSON can easily afford. Yeah, it's up.

Speaker 173179.64s - 3213.22s

The Dusted DePurek of the Star covers the Pacers on the Andy Moore Automotive Group ORG potline. And, you know, clearly that was coming. And that's out of the Star covers the Pacers on the Andy Moore Automotive Group ORG potline. And clearly that was coming. And that's out of the coaches playbook this time of year. He didn't utilize that after game one when certainly it, to me, would have been much more appropriate. But he waited until last night after that game two lost. I am curious about this.I don't know if I can remember a time when official has been called out with name recognition like J.B. DeRosa last night. Can you? Because that was something

Speaker 73213.22s - 3277.36s

that was new to me. Not off the top of my head. And that doesn't mean it didn't happen. Something like I don't have kind of, you know, kind of the encyclopedia knowledge of that I, you know, like I spent a lot of time covering college ball. So I mean, that it could have happened in the last 10 years and I would have missed it. But, you know, kind of the encyclopedia knowledge of that that I, you know, like, I spent a lot of time covering college ball. So, I mean, that, it could have happened in the last 10 years, and I would have missed it. But, you know, I don't remember it recently. You know, I think there's general concerns or arguments about certain officials, but I don't know that anybody has said a name in a press conference like that to say, you saw this call. You had every reason to make this call, and you did not make that call, and I don't understand it. And in fairness, I don't either. And I watched, you know, like, you know, I think the double or dribble call was wrong in the moment. You know, he, I don't think the guy did double dribble, but I mean, Josh Hart clearly showed Tyrese Albert PERSON in the back. I mean, there's, you know, like, if you watch that clip on video, it's pretty, it's fairly obvious. And I could see how, you know, the reason for calling out somebody like, there's no way you guys missed this, you know, like I can see where you are. It's not just a TV screen that shows it to me. It's, I can see where you guys are looking. But, you know, that's certainly going to, you would think, also add to the fine as well.

Speaker 173279.3s - 3298.18s

So, um, 78, 78 bad calls against them was sent to the league office so they could peruse over that scroll of documentationwhat do you think is going to come of that? If anything?

Speaker 73298.38s - 3298.7s

I mean

Speaker 173298.7s - 3301.12s

obviously it's not going to change anything

Speaker 73301.12s - 3303.32s

which it was it was funny

Speaker 173303.32s - 3327.36s

to see his entire process you know over the course of two days and even the course of the evening because I'm going to change anything, which it was, it was funny to see his entire process, you know, over the course of two days and even in the course of the evening, because I'm going to ask him, I asked him about the last two-minute report. He said, you know, like, I didn't look at it. I'm not interested in it. I know it's not going to change anything. I don't care. And so, you know, like, I don't know, I can't remember if they're going to trigger a last two-minute report from last night. I don't think so. But, you know, like, he goes from saying,

Speaker 73327.46s - 3411.08s

I don't care what the league does with this to, I'm going to send 78 clips of this. But I think his point, obviously, is to, you know, make it so that whoever, you know, calls game three goes into it knowing that he feels like he's been jumped. And so, you know, hoping to kind of influence human behavior that way. And I think, you know, that's kind of what you're, what the goal of all of this is,is that you're not necessarily trying to make a case that feel like they're going to win. You're trying to get into the heads of guys that are making decisions in split seconds and hope that, you know, that influences their behavior in some way because, I mean, that's all you can do. And home field, home court advantage does that. He knows that. You know, basically if you're in the garden and everybody's making a whole lot of noise, there's a greater possibility that you're going to call stuff in, you know, like in favor of the Knicks ORG. Like it's, you know, time and true sort of science that the home team gets called. And that's not because every ref likes the home team or wants the home team to win. It's just when you're in that environment, you're making a split-sex decisions. That kind of stuff happens. So you're trying to influence that.'re making a split-sex decision, that kind of stuff happens. So you're trying to influence that. You're trying to, you know, get that on your end. You're hoping that you get the same home court advantage at Gainbridge FAC that they got in the garden, at least in terms of how Rick PERSON is thinking about this, whether you think that's fair or not, in terms of whether this was really not called in the Pacers ORG' favor, that's certainly how Rick thinks it was, and Rick wants to get a home whistle when it goes back to game three. Will that work or will it work against him? That obviously remains to be seen, but that's certainly what he's going for.

Speaker 173412.08s - 3445.28s

Hey, Dustin, is the moral of the story last night, if you put up 18 points in the third quarter knowing defensively you find it difficult at times to stop a nosebleed, you kind of get what you deserve with this Pacer ORG team. I just think you have to be so consistent offensively that you can't go into snooze mode in any part of this game, really, especially throughout a quarter like the third quarter in last night, without negative repercussions. And I thought that that, for the most part, is what led us down the path to that game two loss. What do you think? Yeah, 100% they know that. I mean, I think there was, I don't know if for the most part, is what led us down the path to that game two loss. What do you think?

Speaker 73445.48s - 3528.66s

Yeah, 100% they know that. I mean, I think there was, I don't know if it was just when Brunson PERSON getting back on the floor, it's like, oh, well, this is going to be different. And they just didn't respond. And, you know, obviously defense, you know, as we'll tell you over and over again, you know, bad defense against bad offense and bad offense begets bad defense. And so, I mean, these things are intertwined. And so when you're not getting stops, it's harder to score. And when you're not scoring, it's harder to get stops. And so, you know, they end up snowballing together. And, you know, that's clearly what happened. They had hard time, you know, stop in Brunson PERSON.He got rolling. They had a hard time stop. You know, when they sent two bodies, they had a hard time moving around. In rotation, again, the guys, they were giving up shots and they weren't making a lot of them. They missed the makeable ones. And, you know, weren't nearly as effective in quarter three as they were in quarter two.I mean, I think they had, I think they were like 1.7 per possession in quarter two, and they go from that to an 18-point quarter. So, you know, I mean, it was a clear major dud, and obviously you can't have one of those, you know, again, that you're not going to be a great defensive team overall. You can't trust that you're going to lock people up. And so, yeah, you can't have one of those. You know, again, that you're not going to be a great defensive team overall. You can't trust that you're going to lock people up. And so, yeah, you can't have those kind of quarters. And to be fair, to be fair to the guys, you know, for all of Rick PERSON's discussion about officiating, the players are pretty clear saying that, you know, like, we don't think we lost us because of officiating. We had a bad game. We didn't play as well as the other guys did. They outplayed us.We got outworked. And so, you know, that's the issue. We can't sit here and say that we got beat by the rats because we didn't.

Speaker 173530.88s - 3606.6s

So Dustin DePurek of the star, he's on the Andy Moore Automotive Group ORG hotline. Again, live at Miss Hems, Holman Garden, Bargarsville the day. We get back with you with some stuff to give away coming up in in just a minute. Do you foresee, and I have, I've been on this certainly so far, really this postseason, going back to the Milwaukee ORG series. I want to see when Rick says that this time of year is different, I want to see someevidence of that. And rotationally speaking, substitution pattern speaking, we really haven't. And what I mean by that, Dustin PERSON, is I want to see him ride a hot hand longer. I want to see him quicker, make an observation when things aren't going well and do something about that. And I guess what we have to bring up in a case like this is T.J. McConnell PERSON.The way that he's playing, the problem he has been, even with the lack of defense, it's not like this team is going to lock anybody down anyway. So I don't know why that really matters. Why is he so hesitant to change up from the starters late in games and go to a McConnell or even to a Topin who had played well in these first two games? Why do we not see that last night?Instead, I've seen these guys on the bench.

Speaker 73607.4s - 3826.5s

I mean, this is my read. I've been thinking about this, obviously, since you gave the answer, and I had an expectation he was going to talk about this. We've talked about it this way in the first place. And so let's recall a couple things. First off, he's got three starters that are 24 years old,and they've all got kind of like high, you know, sort of high-intensity jobs, if you will. I mean, obviously you've got your franchise player, Tyrese Halliburton PERSON, and you've got Andrew M. Hart and Aaron Smith that have been taking on the top two assignments defensively all year. So if you suddenly say that, all right, you're not good enough for that anymore, you know, and, like, you pull that rug from out underneath them in the playoffs, that's a hell of a message to send. And so, like, I get the idea of saying, well, it's the playoffs, screw it, go for it. Um, you know, but they're building, you know, they're building a roster for the future. They're building a team and they're also, they've also gotten farther than they were supposed to get. So it's like, okay, like if you think about it, like on some level, if you've got the assignments that them hard and niece Smith got, I mean, you're kind of like a corner, you're kind of like a top cornerback, you know, basically, and like basically the message that you get from the team is you're going to lose some of these battles. Don't look over your shoulder, have a short memory, and don't think that if you make one mistake, you're going to get the ax, you know, you're going to get, you know, roped off the floor, you're going to get to battle again. You're going to, you're not going to live to a fight another day. And so if you suddenly say that, all right, you know, NM.R. You did a really good job on Damien Lowe in the first series, but you're not doing a good enough job right now, so we're going to pull you, you know, andEMR, you did a really good job on Damien Lowe in the first series, but you're not doing a good enough job right now, so we're going to pull you, you know, and you have to be prepared for that at any point in time in this series. There's a risk there. You know, I mean, like, Andrew NMard PERSON's a tough kid, and I'm not talking about feelings necessarily. He's not going to go cry in the corner or whatever. But there is something to be said for that about, you know, like I think he said, like, these guys have earned the right, you know, like they've earned the trust of being in these positions. And if you suddenly tell them that what you've done all year hasn't actually earned that trust, and you could be pulled at the right, you know, like they've earned the trust of being in these positions. And if you suddenly tell them that what you've done all year hasn't actually earned that trustand you could be pulled at any time, you know, I feel like there's a risk there. You know, and so it's like, okay, like what did you, and so it comes back to a lot of integrity questions and whatnot, how you've handled that throughout the year. Have you prepared those guys for that possibility? Are they going to be shocked when that happens? How are they going to react? What's that going to, you know, do going forward? I mean, I think there were some people that were even saying the McConnell should have played the fourth quarter instead of Halliburton ORG because Halliburton in game one because Halliburton was having a bad night. It's like, all right. So are you really going to take the guy that you're about to pay $50 million to and say you can't play the fourth quarter anymore? You know, and so that's, that's a step. You know, that I think is a bigger step than a lot of people will realize. And so I think that's probably what's holding him back from saying, okay, screw it. Let's just go with whoever's got the best plus minus tonight. You guys are the ones to play the fourth quarter. You know, these are things you got to consider, basically. Do you have guys that are sort of in the line of fire that you're suddenly telling them, you know, you've lost the trust to be able to do that? And, you know, are you still going to have that faith the next game and the next game and the next game and so I think there's something there is something there. And so it's like, all right, is he right? You know, I don't know. I mean, and certainly I think the whole world thinks he's wrong today because of how well McConnell PERSON was playing. But I think like that has, I understand why that's a factor. I understand where he's coming from there. I mean, he's used the phrase, man, men, not machines. And so I'm sure that's going to factor in.And if he were to answer that question as honestly as he could and didn't, you know, wasn't worried about what he put out there. I imagine that would be part of the discussion is, you know, I've trusted these guys. And he said in his answer last night, you know, Andrew Nemhardt PERSON's been our best on-ball defender all year. He's earned that job to be the guy that we trust to put on Jalen Brunson PERSON.And if you suddenly say, you're not good enough tonight, it's like, okay, you know, like at what point does somebody in that position start to question themselves, start to, you know, look over their shoulder in terms of, you know, like, you know, these are tough assignments in the NBA ORG guys you get scored on? And so it's like, are you going to start to think if you get scored on, you know, you're going to get told. And is that a good thing or a bad thing? And so I think that's, that I think probably factors into that.

Speaker 173827.88s - 3841.74s

Would it be unfair of me? And my feeling is if that's how you view that, then you're okay with going down with the ship when things aren't working with your starters? Am I viewing that? Am I stated that unfairly?

Speaker 73842.06s - 3920.62s

Because that's what it kind of sounds like here. Maybe. I mean, I guess the thing about it is, are you going down with the ship? I mean, there's a question of what shape does the ship in? If they get swept in this, is this ship going down? You know, like you've still got a young team, basically.Like, you've advanced past where you were expected to. You might be going down on the ship with this series, but there's a longer-term vision, you know, that goes beyond whether or not they beat the next. You know, like this isn't the year they're supposed to win a championship. You're talking about long-term, you know, when I haven't even necessarily hit yet. So, like, I get the idea of saying that, but, like, you have to remember that you're notjust playing for tomorrow. And it's not a situation where, like, if you lose you get fired and you have to trade this whole team because it's obviously not going to work. I mean, you're thinking about building these guys, you know, for a long-term future. And again, I mean, I think it's a fair assessment that they're playing with house money right now. You know, so it's like, okay, like, if you're concerned, you know, like, if you do think that's a seriously thing worthconcerned about if you're, if you're Rick Harlow PERSON, then you have to be thinking about the idea that like, okay, like you've already gotten this far. Are you trying to, you know, like, are you going to blow something up for the future, which is what you've been playing for this whole time? And so I don't know. Like I said, I mean, like that might, maybe I'm putting words in his mouth. But I don't know that that's necessarily saying you're accepting me.Your Honor, you're also thinking about what your officer is actually made of. And again, you've got, you know, and it's made up right now of three starters that are 24 years old.

Speaker 173922.2s - 3937.46s

Hey, Dustin PERSON, this is not at all to you because you're answering a question that I ask, and I have respect for that. I will tell you this, though,if that is the coaching mentality and our philosophy, that's the biggest load of crap ever, and I hate it.

Speaker 53938.38s - 3939.76s

And again,

Speaker 173939.76s - 3942.88s

and you're answering a question

Speaker 53942.88s - 3986.3s

with your opinion, much closer to it than I am. But my opinion is, if there is truth in what you say right there, if there is accuracy, then I think that is an absolute load of crap. I hate it. Absolutely hate it. But, you know, and I talk about, you know, living in the moment and winning in the moment when you have the opportunity all the time.I just, I don't give two craps right now about what the hell happens in two years. I don't. I care about what happens. And I know everybody else out there does too. I just, I hope, I want you to be accurate as hell, buddy. I do.But I hope that that is inaccurate because there's no way in the world I could ever digest hearing anything out of a coach's mouth like that. No way. But my apologies to you. a coach's mouth like that. No way.

Speaker 173991s - 3991.24s

But my apologies to you. I know that I ask you and you're giving me an honest opinion.

Speaker 73994.88s - 4009.94s

I'm guessing. I'm piecing this together based on what I've seen over the course of the year. And I'm like I might be putting, you know, words in his mouth. Like I'm just piecing together sort of his answer last night. How he's handled most of the year. Thinking about how his roster was Bill PERSON and sort of saying, okay, you know, trying to put myself in his shoes, like, why wouldn't I do that? Why wouldn't I just say

Speaker 174009.94s - 4074.1s

would the play? I want to remind everybody out there. Don't get on dust. I don't want anybody to get on you for this. Yes, he does not coach. The small market quote was not mine either. I don't make these choices.I want to remind people of that. Just like, just like I didn't play, like, I wasn't in a 33 PRODUCT jersey and have a six and seven night last night. Everybody, like, sends it to me like I was playing, and I wasn't. So I just want people to understand. I don't want people to get mad at you.My point was, I just hope to hell that's not the philosophy because I hate it. But I appreciate you answering it as honestly as you possibly can. Dust the Purec of the Star is on the Andy Moore Automotive Group ORG potline. I'm going to ask Eddie Gill who played in the NBA this coming up in a couple of minutes. But why was there such a tremendous difference in Tyrese Halliburton in the first half to the second half. Was that more about what the Knicks are doing, or was it more about what the Pacers ORG andHalliburton ORG himself didn't do? It's a good question.

Speaker 74074.22s - 4186.14s

I feel like I need to rewatch some of that, but I think, you know, it's probably more of what Knicks ORG were doing. I think it comes back to the idea of, like, when you're just not, you know, like, when you're not in advantageous positions, you know, when you're, you know, fighting off against set defenses, you know, like when you're dealing with two bodies, you know, all that kind of thing. I mean, I think there were certainly moments where I watched and said, all right, like,he's got to go to the rim there, you know, like he's got to go to that option. And I think, you know, I mean, he, you know, the one thing I said on Twitter last night is he's got to more frequently believe in himself when it comes to finishing through contact. I mean, I thought, you know, like I understand why he's also, you know, believes in the ability when he's getting downhill, that, okay, he's probably getting a second body and there's probably somebody open to pass to.You know, but sometimes that guy's got a 35% shot, and, you know, he's got a 75% shot. And it's like, okay, if you just finish through the contact and push, you know, you've got a chance of getting a bucket and or a foul. And I wonder sometimes if he passes those up, either nothing, he's going to get the call or not think he's going to be able to finish through it.So I think there were a couple of those occasions when I saw that. There were a couple of occasions where I thought, okay, like, he can go get a floater here. But, you know, I mean, he's still, you know, he was still more aggressive in both halves than he was in game one EVENT, you know, in either half in game one. But I think, you know, again, like I think they were just still more aggressive in both halves than he was in game one, you know, in either half in game one. But I think, you know, again, like I think they were just in more dissented that's age's positions because they were, you know, they were having a hard timescoring, so they were having a hard time defending, so they were having a hard time scoring again. And, you know, just getting things going. Certainly he's better, you know, when Miles Turner PERSON is scoring. And certainly Miles having a rough night doesn't help, you know, Halliburton ORG create, basically. When that pick and roll isn't doing what it's supposed to do,whether pick and pop isn't doing what's supposed to do, then all of his decisions are hard to make, and he doesn't have the same space to work. And it's like, you know, when he does drive and kick back and Miles hit the three, it looks like a genius decision. When he drives and kicks back and this is a shot, it doesn't look very smart. You know, it's funny.

Speaker 174186.24s - 4253.74s

You mentioned Miles PERSON, too, and obviously I have a long time been a supporter. And I call him out when he has bad nights like he did last night and certainly talk about it when he has good. But I was curious, when you were watching last night, normally with Miles PERSON,and because I've got to pay attention because so many jackasses send me stuff, but when you see normally with Miles PERSON, there's a signature for him moment to where he really gets geared up and gets going. And we saw that in game number one. It was a block that led to kind of that reverse dunk with a good pass from Halliburton ORG that really got him going offensively. And I thought last night that dunk, after, you know, struggling his first three or so shots, that dunk was really going to get him off. But he just, he was justkind of floating around out there for lack of a better description. Why was that in your estimation? And do you think also that he needs some sort of playmaking positivity some signature over the course of the game to get going? Yeah. And for one thing I'm going to do,

Speaker 74253.74s - 4291.04s

he does need to see Schaub go down. Especially in this matchup, I mean, like he's, you know, like is he going to just out tough Hartnstein PERSON, you know, probably not. But, you know, he has the skill set that Hardinstein PERSON doesn't have. He can drag him out and force him to play him on the perimeter and, you know, get some space going downhill and hit, you know, free throw level jump shots, you know, hit three-point jump shots.I mean, he can score from three levels. And when he is, you know, like one success forgets another. And when none of those are going down, like I think there is, there tends to be a kind of overall drift where he's just not playing, you know, he kind of loses some of that energy and that toughness and whatnot.

Speaker 54291.34s - 4328.68s

When it's, you know, when one success doesn't build upon another, it gets harder. And again, if he's not forcing him to guard him out there, and he's not spacing the floor, he's not making, you know, basically just putting, you know, the defense in a scramble, you know, like I think he does sometimes get bogged down and kind of loses some of that juice. And I think he definitely saw that happen. I think he saw that happen kind of both for him and Pascal. You know, Seacrum PERSON tends to have a little bit more sort of steady confidence. But, you know, he obviously had a rough one as well last night going two for ten in the second half. So I feel like both of them, you know, I think they miss some shots they usually make. And I think that led to them sort of feeling and looking more adrift.

Speaker 174330.28s - 4336.14s

I think I could do without the step back three forever again. I like that.

Speaker 54336.84s - 4363.26s

Especially in that moment, I guess if you want to shoot it in, if you want to shoot it in December against Orlando GPE, then go ahead. But I don't know if I want to see that in that type of moment. Dustin DePurek of the Stars on the Andy Moore Automotive Group ORG hotline. Once again, I want to thank you for answering that question. And I want to remind people that Dustin PERSON covers the team. He's obviously not coaching the team. And when I ask you that question, you know, this is not you saying,

Speaker 174363.56s - 4383.92s

this is how you think it should be done. Right. Yeah, I sure as hell hope it's not that way, but I appreciate you answering. That's a tough one. That's a tough one because you've got old school people like me that you're just thinking about just a win baby and I don't want to hear any whining. And then there'll probably be some people to agree with you as, you know, they're still a couple of years away.

Speaker 54384.64s - 4384.8s

Yeah.

Speaker 174385.02s - 4385.62s

Well, yeah. Well, I mean, just being a couple of years away. Yeah. Well, yeah.

Speaker 54385.66s - 4402.9s

Well, I mean, just being a couple of years away and their time not being now, I don't know if I have a couple of years remaining here, Dustin PERSON. So I need some expedited winning, Pronto PERSON. So I don't care how it comes and who brings it. I just want to see it. So that's my philosophy, man.

Speaker 74402.9s - 4404.7s

I think you said every with this in a couple years, J.M.

Speaker 174405.36s - 4406.32s

Oh, no, buddy. I'm believing in my philosophy, man. I think he's just a very with this in a couple of years, James. Oh, no, buddy.

Speaker 74406.84s - 4411.12s

I'm believing in the fate, man. I'm believing in you. All right.

Speaker 174411.18s - 4488.26s

Hey, I appreciate you jumping on here. We'll do it again soon. Absolutely. Sounds good. Thanks for having me. Dustin DePurek of the Star ORG.I just, I wanted to make sure I reiterated that because I don't want you guys to jump all over him from that because he's not a columnist and I'm the one I'm the one that put him in that situation. I mean, you know how I feel about it. I put him in that situation and yeah, he doesn't deserve you guys rip it on his ass like that. Again, if you want to rip somebody, rip me, I will tell you this.I'm going to save your asses tomorrow. I'm going to save you. I'm going to help the Pacers ORG win a game for you tomorrow. I'll tell you how I'm doing that coming up on the other side, Ms. I'm going to save you. I'm going to help. The Pacers win a game for you tomorrow. Speaker 44502.52s - 4507.32s

I love J-M-V. He looks like Rascal Flatsky PERSON. Got a coolest old patch. He does.

Speaker 124507.52s - 4509.08s

And a buttery smooth voice.

Speaker 84509.08s - 4513s

Oh, yeah. 935 and 107.5. The fan.

Speaker 124513.38s - 4527.68s

Pacers in front, 57 to 54. Left side, Halliburton ORG, great pass, center of the lane, and Turner PERSON with a sledgehammer. A right-hand slam right in front. Beautiful ball movement there, and he just punches one over McBride PERSON.

Speaker 134529.64s - 4531.62s

Mark Boyle and Eddie Gill PERSON right there.

Speaker 124531.68s - 4533.26s

I thought that was going to get Miles PERSON going.

Speaker 174533.52s - 4608.96s

Normally there's a signature moment, at least this season we've seen when he gets going. And, yeah, he was stuck in neutral or less throughout the evening. Six and seven wasn't going to be enough, and it wasn't. Pacers lose down zero two, best of seven.Show live today, Miss Hems, Home and Garden ORG. Bargersville State Road ORG 135. Great deals for Mother's Day this weekend. And remember this place, too, if you want to decorate outside and inside for mid-spring and into the summer, their nursery is stocked and ready to roll. Outstanding is what it is here at Miss Hems Home and Garden ORG. And you can enter to win a $200 gift card while we're here. At a second, I'll tell you why I feel really good about tomorrow night, especially with the way things have gone in the first two games. Meantime on the Andy Moore Automotive Group ORG pipeline, you heard him as a point of that highlighted moment ago on the Pacer Radio Network alongside Mark Boyle, Eddie Gill PERSON, the former NBA guard joins us now. Eddie, I'm curious, playing in the NBA ORG as you did, the difference you see in teams like the Pacers trying to keep up with the effort, the intensity, and the hustle that the Knicks ORG seemingly bring to the table each possession.

Speaker 134610.62s - 4643.7s

Yeah, it is an unbelievable task, and thanks for having me again. But it's an undervalued attribute to winning. We hear so much about shot making, which obviously you've got to put the ball on the basket to give yourself an opportunity. So I don't want to understand that either, but we hear so much about that and three-point shot and the skills and all those things. And those are all important. But man, these intangibles of the game can take you a long way. And the New YorkKnicks ORG are an incredible illustration of that.

Speaker 174645.32s - 4691.94s

Well, Eddie PERSON, we get to see that on a night-in, night-out basis. And in fact, I think we should see it more because that's T.J. McConnell. I love the interview last night after the game with Jalen Brunson because, you know, people thought maybe he and McConnell PERSON didn't get along because that N-1 kind of bumped down low that should have been an offensive foul twice and wasn't, but it ended up an hand one for Brunson PERSON. But Brunson did nothing but hand out respect because you get a guy like McConnell PERSON is one of the few pacer's, I think. And I'm not suggesting they don't play hard. They do play hard. They do play with effort. But McConnell is one guy, maybe the guy that can match the type of effort that we see from a Brunson, we see from a heart, and we see from a Devinchenzo, and especially that of Josh Hart PERSON. Yeah, you know, he's been able to do that,

Speaker 134691.98s - 4728.3s

and he's been able to set himself apart, which, you know, one of his greatest attributes is the motor that he has to where it just doesn't quit. And oftentimes you see it during the regular season, while other teams or his opponent, the guy he's guarding, whatever it may be, while those guys are resting, he's working, which is why he's been so successful throughout his career, and whether it's defensively or offensively, just always probing to see if he can get something quick and early in offensive sets or in transition, and defensively, he's just relentless, you know, from the moment the possessions change.

Speaker 174730.16s - 4753.54s

So Eddie Gill, the Pacer Radio Network with us, game three coming up tomorrow night at Cambridge Fieldhouse. Pacer's down Tuesday, best of seven. Were you surprised in these first two games that Rick Carlisle didn't go back to T.J. McConnell considering what he was bringing to the table for this team. And certainly, you know, given the fact he was such a pain to the Knicks in really all areas in these first two games, did that surprise you?

Speaker 134755s - 4796.9s

No, I was not surprised by that in the least bit. I think Andrew Nemhart PERSON has been amazing and what he's been able to do. So, I mean, it's oftentimes where you hear people start complaining about this guy or that guy, we need to trade for this guy or that guy. Okay, my question is, who are you sitting to put him in the game? And again, I love what he does and I love the energy that he brings, but I'm a huge proponent and fan of what Nimard PERSON's been able to do. I don't think you're sitting Halliburton ORG, especially in that game, based on the first half that he had. So my question would be, who comes out? Honestly, Eddie PERSON, I didn't care.

Speaker 174797.54s - 4836.16s

I just thought that on both ends, he was a problem. And even describing how he was taking a beating in that one play by Brunson, the one thing that he was able to do last night that others, I thought struggled more, was make Brunson PERSON work. He's right there with him. He dogs him, makes him work. And they're going give up points anyway, because they're just not good defensively. I just thought when he was in there, the offense looked a hell of a lot better, and it's just the offense that this team can't afford to lose because when they do, they ultimately end up losing a game.

Speaker 134838.04s - 4901.46s

Yeah, no, I agree with the work that he's been able to put in, but I just don't see a scenario in which it would have, where I would, I disagree with what Rick Harlow PERSON and the staff decided to do in the latter part of that game in terms of their rotations, who was on the floor, who was given them the best opportunity to win the game, and those types of things. So, you know, I think shot making is something that's considered in terms of perimeter shot making, being able to space the floor. You get a lot more space out there if Nimhart, Halliburton, Neesmith ORG, those guys are out there and kind of in the guard positions. And then you have Turner PERSON and in some cases, Obie Toppin or, you know, some of those other guys in the front court, being able to space the floor and letting Halliburton ORG and in that case, Nimhart PERSON, for example, facilitate and get into the pain.

Speaker 174903s - 4931.52s

So Eddie Gale, the Pacer Radio, joins us, the former NBA ORG Guard. You have, again, forgotten more than I will ever know, and I respect that a great deal. That's why I'm going to pose you this particular question. Why this time of year do you not ride hotter hands, especially if those hands are off the bench longer than usual? Because there is such a tremendous difference in how you're playingand what's going on now than there is in the regular season. Why do we not see that?

Speaker 134933.76s - 5021.18s

Yeah, I think they do some of that, but then I also think that there's an instinct in terms of what you perceive as actually impact on winning a game. So I don't necessarily oftentimes get caught up into some statsand how they particularly maybe if you just look at the box or like, oh, this guy had X amount of points, X amount of assists or rebounds, okay, but then the question becomes how does it really impact winning? And that's on both ends of the floor. So there's a lot of nuance in that. So it's easy that, and I don't want to call it lazy, but it's borderline lazy to just look at a stat sheet and see some of the point production or rebounds or assists or whatever that may be and say that this guy should, you know, forget it. I'll give you an example of Rudy Gobert PERSON. He's got defensive player a year four times in a row. And a large part is because he's the shot block leader. I'm never an agreement of that, right? So give me a Lou Dort, give me a Drew Holiday PERSON, give me a Marcus Smart PERSON. When you start, give me a Lou Dort, give me a Drew Holiday, give me a Marcus Smart, give me a bam out of bio when you start talking about defensive player every year. So again, it's much more cumbersome than just looking at particular stats when you're thinking about impacting winning.

Speaker 175022.18s - 5033.12s

Would you have been okay if Obie PERSON got a little bit more clock, considering how good he's been now in these first two games? Yeah, he's been really good.

Speaker 135033.32s - 5050.16s

Yeah, he's been really good. So, no, I definitely think that there's a place for that, you know, in terms of his point production, his rebound production, he's doing some things that aren't getting in the stat sheet. So, yeah, there's an argument as well.

Speaker 175052.36s - 5092.96s

So Eddie Giles on the Andy Moore on the Mother Crew ORG potline. How was it in the locker room when the coach goes all in on the officiating, as the coach did last night in Rick Carlisle? And again, I know that that's kind of out of a playbook. I expected it at some point. He was going to play that game one card, which game one, there was a profound effectwith the officiating on the result of the game. There's no question about that. Last night, to me, not as much. But how is it like in a locker room? What's the players feel among one another when a coach goal is all in, as Rick Carlisle did last night? Yeah, it's a precarious position to be in because at the end of the

Speaker 135092.96s - 5161.84s

day, and he even mentioned it during some of those comments, it's like, you want to put the onus on your players, coaching staff, and what you can control. Because if you start getting distracted by officiating or anything else besides what you can control, you know, that's just, you just burn an energy to some degree. And energy, especially when you're facing this team, is at a premium. That's what you need the most of.So you start focusing on that. It can get a very distracting. So just as a player, I think you have to on that, it can get a very distracting. So just as a player, I think you have to have a professional approach to it and understand that, hey, yeah, maybe some calls didn't go your way, but you've got to be able to wipe the slate and not focus on that because you start talking to officials and worried about them and not worrying about, you know, a 37-point first quarterand O'Gianinobe running free and he's got 20 at halftime. You're not worried about that and you're worried about officiating. You know, next thing you know, pressures at Chua has seven offensive rebounds tomorrow night in the Cambridge GPE field house because you're worried about, you know, these other things that you can't control.

Speaker 175163.84s - 5199.14s

Yeah, it just seems like we see this often in the postseason. I just kind of wondered because, you know, these other things that you can't control. Yeah, it just seems like we see this often in the postseason. I just kind of wondered, because you had mentioned when Rick PERSON says, hey, you know, I don't want my players acting like that, you know, and I know I tell them not to blame it on the officiating, but, you know, how that may, you think that it's going to have an effect, and that's what you're looking for on the type of whistle that you getas early as tomorrow night. But as you mentioned, it could have an effect going the opposite direction on your team that just is like, hey, we're all getting screwed right now because coach said so the other night.

Speaker 135200.3s - 5247.66s

Yeah, that's what you want to try to avoid. And again, I'm sure he's going to communicate a different message internally. I think ultimately he would like to convey to the league or to the officials or whatever, whatever it may be that, hey, you know, we need a better whistle. But, yeah, internally, I'm sure the messaging is, hey, we need to go out here and compete harder. We need to execute better. We need to communicate better. We need to, you know, figure out what we'redoing with Jalen Brunton because this back-to-back second half where this guy has gone for 20 or better in a half. So, you know, we're talking about some of those strategic things there, and hopefully you have a mature enough locker room to where they're able to lock in and focus on those details and not necessarily dealing with the three other guys with a whistle.

Speaker 175248.82s - 5280.7s

It's one final thing for Eddie Gill PERSON who's kind of enough to join us on the Andy Moore Automotive Group potline. I asked this a little bit early. I'm curious your thought again as a former player was the difference in the second half to that of the first half production-wise from Tyrese Halliburton PERSON. Was that because the Knicks ORG doing something or was that because the first half, production-wise, from Tyrese Halliburton. Was that because the Knicks doing something, or was that because the Pacers weren't or Halliburton wasn't in the second half? Why do we have such a stark contrast in that production dynamicfrom one half to the other from him? Yeah, I think a little bit of both.

Speaker 135280.7s - 5336.92s

And it's the same thing we saw in the first in game one, where maybe his aggressiveness wasn't where he would probably prefer to be. And then also just as a team not necessarily calling plays intentionally to get him the ball in places where he can be effective, getting him to his right hand. That's where he's at his best, whether it's driving it or getting to step back shots or pull up shots. I think to start the game, I thought he was really good in being able to attack, getting themselves to the free throw line. The guy shoots 85% or better from the free throw line, so I think he has an opportunity to capitalize there in terms of drawing some fouls a little bit more, potentially. And he was able to do that, but, yeah, to your point, in the second half, I think in both games, the Knicks ORG have been the more aggressive team, the more active team, and it kind of just yielded itself in the results that you saw.

Speaker 175338.28s - 5379.48s

So Eddie Gill, coming at you tomorrow night, game number three, Gameridge Fieldhouse FAC. Sure, it feels good to be back home again, especially when the team that you're calling the game for is down zero two at an Eastern Conference semifinal best of seven. Game three coming up tomorrow night at Cambridge Fieldhouse FAC, game four on Mother's Day coming up at Cambridge Fieldhouse as well. And Eddie Gill on the Pacer Radio Network can be heard with Mark Boyle and Pat Boylan coming up tomorrow night for game number three. Man, I appreciate you hopping on here. And I know some of this stuff is really – because, I mean, I sit here and have hindsight as 20-20 every day. But to get a perspective from a former player, man, I appreciate that as much as you know. No, no, absolutely.

Speaker 135379.6s - 5384.4s

Anytime. I appreciate you guys having me. And, yeah, let's go get one tomorrow.

Speaker 175385.66s - 5495.42s

So Eddie Gill on the Andy Moore Automotive Group ORG hotline, I mentioned as I had a break, here's a big reason why, James, they're going to get back on track tomorrow's because I'm going. I am going. Normally, and I've told people this before,I would, for the sake of this show and what I need to know for this show, would much rather watch it at home because I learn more. And people will say, well, you've got to go and you've got to cover it. You've got to ask guys questions. Well, I'll ask guys questions when their ass comes on the show. And I don't want to be asked questions about something in the third quarter with about seven minutes to go that I didn't see or can't hear because of wherever I'm sitting there. So it's always been, and I've always said this, I care about the show and what I present to you informationally, as opposed to being seen someplace and be able to partake into a free media buffet. So I'd much rather be able to do that for you and the show. But tomorrow night, I feel the need to change something up. So tomorrow night, I am going to attend, thus you can expect, in a must-win situation, a very, well, really, in this case, a not-so-s subtle change coming up tomorrow night. Because I am going to go and check it out for myself and say the hell with the in-home television experience.I don't talk to you on Saturday, sports-wise, anyway. So I'm going. And things are going to change. Quick break. We'll come back. Miss M's Home and Garden, Bargersville, 135 FAC,just south of Whiteland Road FAC. Great deals. Patrick Beverly, suspended by the NBA for four games if he makes a team next year. And Frank Vogel, who joined us, I believe back in January on this show, the former Pacer head coach was fired as head coach of the Phoenix Suns ORG, as they were ousted in straight sets by the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Western Conference first round, Frank Vogel PERSON,dismissed as the head coach in Phoenix earlier today. All right, Mike Chappell PERSON on the other side, a couple of thoughts with him, and more with you on the Pacers and a game three matchup coming up tomorrow night. Speaker 45664.34s - 5670.22s

you know i i just our starters have earned the trust to finish games.

Speaker 95671.12s - 5701.76s

And, you know, Nemhard's probably our best on-ball defender. And we were flying around trapping, too. And so, you know, it was, we kind of had the kitchen sink going at them in the fourth. And, you know, they still came up with loose balls. They came up with offensive rebounds. They made shots. So, you know, look, their execution has been very good in those situations. So, you know, but look, everything's on the table going forward. It has to be at this point, you know. And we'll look closely at everything.

Speaker 175703.2s - 5861.48s

So Rick Carlisle right there, Ms. Hems's Home and Garden, our location in Bargersville today. Glad to see everybody come out. I know it's a little bit cloudy, kind of rainy. Sun popped out for a minute, but we love to see you down here in Bargarsville GPE. 135 in Bargarsville GPE. Miss M's Home and Garden, Mother's Day is coming up this weekend, of course, on Sunday.$200 gift card. We're giving away here for you, but maybe even more so than that. If you're listening right now, make it a plan for you to be here at some point. And again, property, exterior, interior, you can get that thing looking great here mid-spring and getting into the summertime of Miss Hems PERSON' Home and Garden. And remember, Miss Hemp's Home and Garden, they have a sister place up in Westfield GPE. So all you Hamilton County North Siders NORP listening right now, I'm not living you out because sundown gardens also up in Westfield GPE, as you well know. But Miss M's is cracking down here. We'll talk to Mary, who guides everybody here coming up before the end of this show as well. Also a shout out to everybody that I haven't heard from in a year. And that shout out is to, like Dustin Sanders, for example, of Franklin Township GPE, who has in the past been a tremendous, I won't use a curse word here, a tremendous pain in my rear. He has been. I want to go deeper, right, with what I'm saying. But Dustin Sanders PERSON, who I haven't heard from in a year, along with others of you that I haven't heard from in a long time when Miles last night went six points and seven rebounds. So conveniently, and most importantly, incredibly gutlessly, I hear from you today. So shout out to you guys. Thank you very much for keeping my timeline going. And as I normally do, I will tell the truth about when somebody has a bad night or a good night. That's what we do right here. But yeah, shout out to all you guys, because I hadn't heard from a lot of you in a year. And you took the time out and gave the effort today to tell me all about the six and the seven that we watched last night. So Dustin Sanders PERSON, who's leading the charge, good to hear from you guys again today. Shout out to you at J.MV ORG. 1070. Meantime, Andy Moore Automotive Group ORG hotline, talking about the Pacers going down zero two best of seven. Seven o'clock tip time for the field house tomorrow night. We'll talk a little bit about that and a little bit about the Pacers going down zero two best of seven seven o'clock tip time for the field house tomorrow night we'll talk a little bit about thatand a little bit about the rookies on the inbound for the Colts ORG and Mike Chapel of CBS 4 ORG and Fox 59 he does join us what you think about last night Mike I know you're watching I can tell what do you think about the first two games overall

Speaker 105861.48s - 5945.32s

you know what the unfortunate I think this is where both things can be true. I thought Carlisle PERSON, I had some really, really good points. First game, the officiating really hurt him late. Game two, gosh, there were so many ridiculous, egregious calls, but that's not why they lost. It's just, you know, he had so many good points, you know, the 78 plays that they sent in from the first two games and all that. And how you make some of those calls they made, I don't know. It's funny when they did the double dribble call. And as soon as I saw the officials get together, I thought, they're going to wipe this out. And how do you do that? How do you wipe out a call? Inverting whistle? That's secure all, isn't it? I thought he had all the good ground to biches officiating, but it was just at the wrong time. Game one's when he could have got off and rightly so. But, you know, I didn't like the small market reference. That's always, it'snever received well. I don't think there's a conspiracy. That's always, it's never received well. I don't think there's a conspiracy. I just think he had three officials who were really bad. And then the Pacers ORG were, just couldn't take advantage of a great situation. So we'll see going forward. Maybe the Pacers will shoot 40 free throws in game three,as long as the Yacom ORG is not one of them. Maybe they'll be in better shape.

Speaker 175946.5s - 6011.08s

You know, I thought the timing was what and how it normally goes. I thought Rick was going to wait for one more opportunity, kind of use that as, for lack of a better description, a get out of jail-free type of card here. He was going to use that as leverage at some point in the series and felt compelled to use it after game number twobecause I think you also wanted to see how the officiating, how the whistle continued to go and how his team was going as well. So I knew it was coming and I thought after last night it was probably going to be coming. So that part's kind of funny to me. You go back to game number one and you're right.Game number one, the officiating, if you're taking the high road and you're somebody that I never blame anything on officials, then good for you. But it had an effect on the outcome of that game. And I like Tyler Ford and I hope he goes to Sundown Gardens in Westfield GPE the next time he's back home. But he was an absolute blank show with his two other officials on Monday night in game number one.

Speaker 106011.08s - 6021.12s

And that, that to me, is much more of a valid argument to have regarding their effect on the outcome of the game. Last night wasn't Monday night was.

Speaker 176022.08s - 6025.88s

Well, game one, I mean, again, so much was made of Miles Turner's

Speaker 106025.88s - 6066.36s

moving screen, I guess, is what you call it, which they can call that every play then, kind of like holding in the NFL ORG. But the one that was really, that was crippling was the non-kick ball because what the Pacers ORG would have hadfour on two going the other way, and then the position goes back to the Knicks ORG, and they hit a free partner. So that was massive. Those were really bad. But again, last night, I just, I understand it's kind of like a loaded shotgun. You let things go, you let things go, and you're boiling inside. And then the non-call on the push on Halliburton ORG, he was only right out in the middle of the floor.

Speaker 56067.02s - 6068.4s

I mean, what are you doing?

Speaker 176068.86s - 6075.02s

How do you miss that? He called the guy out by name, too. J.B. DeRosa PERSON. You rarely have ever hear that.

Speaker 106075.92s - 6234.42s

Yeah, so I understand it. And it will we get fined, probably, so what? So what. But, again, it's just this is two series in a row when the other team has just been depleted because of injuries and they couldn't take care of it. I hope they come back the next two games here and just really blow the doors off the Knicks ORG. And I saw a statuewhere how good the Knicks ORG have been in closer time in those crunch games. That's because they got a closer. Brunson PERSON's unbelievable. Okay, his foot's bothering him. They kind of injected something, some good juice in him because he's the kind of player when you let game stay within five, six, seven points on the last couple of minutes. He's going to win it for you.And that's what the really good teams have is that closer. We'll see if the Pacers ORG ever developed that. I thought what Halliburton ORG finished with 34. Boy, in the third quarter, he just deferredso much when he drives on the lane and then he ticks out or whatever. So they just try to get crazy and I'll be one of those guys that was shouting. Why isn't T.J. McConnell PERSON playing more. You know, he's that guy. He is the pain in the ass to the other team. He's like that gnat that's in your face, and you just won't go away, but he's a pretty good player. And Brunson PERSON probably still would have got his points, but he makes, McConnell PERSON makes him work so much harder. And I'm not saying McConnell over Halliburton ORG, playing both. They've done that before. So I, you know, in Halliburton, I guess this is one of those where we're going to hit. I'm telling you, I remember back when Vinutary had the bad season and 19, and all season, we keep asking the Colts ORG. And Frank, is he hurt? No. Ask Vinny PERSON,are you hurt? No. And then he has surgery. And people say, well, you know he's been hurt. I think when this series is over or when the season's over, they're going to say, yeah, well, you know Halliburton ORG was really hurt. And he soldiered through. So I don't think we understand the significance or the level of the injury. I see guys playing 40, 45 minutes, and I understand you've got a deep bench and you want to use it. But at some point, put your guys out there and let them play and let them just be winded at the end of the game. But I'm guessing that the load management with Halliburton ORG is probably as much to do with the back as anything, but those are two opportunities lost, and that's tough to come back from in a seven-game series.

Speaker 176235.52s - 6251.02s

Mike Chapel of CBS 4 ORG and Fox 509s on the Andy Moore Automotive Group ORG potline. Why is it that our professional sports teams struggle in incredibly envious situations? Why is that?Is it something in the water around here?

Speaker 106251.38s - 6348.1s

Is there an exorcism, a seance, a Ouija board? I need to utilize. Why is that? I don't know. It's always when you like to have a common denominator, which it can't because there's different teams, it's different situations. But the same result when you have the chance. I mean, fourth and two against Houston GPE, and it's right there. You know, I mean, finish the drive and you've got a home playoff game for crying out loud with your backup quarterback, and yeah, you're right. I don't know. It's there a lot of times, you know, Andrew Luck gets them there to the ASC ORG championship gameand they get absolutely boat raced out of Foxborough GPE. So, yeah, I don't know. I tell you, it's, the Knicks ORG are not a great team. They've got a greatplayer and some other guys who are playing lights out. But it's still there and there's no reason they can't, you know, win four of these games, but it's got to happen at home. And then why can't you win the next game in New York GPE?I just don't see why you can't, especially if OG PERSON can't play. And he looked like that was a pretty serious hamstring injury. So I don't know. But when you get the one great player, it's kind of like what's a lesser level when you get the great quarterback, all things are possible. When you get that one great player who's going to get 40 because that's who he is, it's the great equalizer. But it's still there for him, but they've just taken care of,you know, they've eliminated the margin of error. So they've got to hold court and see what they can do in game five.

Speaker 176349.44s - 6355.78s

A, Mike, full disclosure, the moment they cut Peyton Manning PERSON, this is what we're all wearing

Speaker 106355.78s - 6368.96s

since that time, right? That's what, that's what's done us all in professionally around here. And still, and still, they had to do it. They did. I mean, you're going to pay a guy $48 million who can't throw the football in, really, but you're right.

Speaker 176370.16s - 6421.86s

Yeah. You've got injuries, guys wanting to leave. Lower level expectations, not many. It's just, it's, it hasn't been fun. It really has not been. And when it's been fun, it's like the whole two step forward, three step back. And Mike, you bring up, and I know this is not normally your forte, but you brought up T.J. McConnell PERSON, I've yet to talk to anybody on this show that thinks what I'm screaming and yelling about, having him in the game when it matters, or riding the hot players that aren't the starting players, I haven't had anybody agree with me on that, and I'm absolutely floored by it because I don't get it. I just won't get it.I don't get it. Rick Carlisle says that the postseason is different than the reg of the season, but you handle it like you do the reg of the season.

Speaker 06422.34s - 6426.12s

I don't understand going down with the

Speaker 56426.12s - 6436.18s

ship on some of this when clearly McConnell PERSON in closing moments has proven, especially in the last two games, he deserves to be out there. Yeah, I'm not saying

Speaker 106436.18s - 6438.1s

he gets a minutes and Hall of Art WORK_OF_ART and sits. I'm not

Speaker 56438.1s - 6439.54s

saying that. Sure. Right.

Speaker 176439.84s - 6442.04s

I haven't looked, but they've been on the

Speaker 56442.04s - 6444.18s

floor at the same time. They have.

Speaker 106445.28s - 6448.24s

And, you know, you're going to get pounded on the boards anyway.

Speaker 56448.66s - 6450.6s

So, yeah, I don't get it.

Speaker 176450.76s - 6451.44s

I don't.

Speaker 56451.52s - 6453.06s

And, again, it's not in my lane.

Speaker 106453.22s - 6514.62s

And people tell me to shut up and all that. But sometimes it seemed to be so obvious. And when he said, well, I thought the starters earned the right to finish it, I thought because of the way they played in the third quarter. I mean, what? You know, and for whatever reason,Siakum PERSON has kind of turned very, very average, I guess, since those first two games against Milwaukee ORG, and he needs to be more, it's easy to sit there and look at things. And, you know, Miles Turner PERSON didn't have a great game. I understand it.He took that step back free point. I thought, what in the hell are you doing? But when you're not playing a while and they're letting the Knicks shoot whatever the hell has been, 57, 58%, it's hard to win. Whenever you don't win, do something else. But in this case, I just think it's kind of hard to defend not playing McConnell War. I don't get it.And maybe, again, maybe going forward, that's what they do. I think Brenson PERSON's still going to get his, but you can make it a little bit tougher for him to do it.

Speaker 176516.5s - 6540.68s

So Mike Chappell of CBS 4 and Fox 59 ORG joins us. The other tough thing to see, and I hope I'm wrong is the blue and orange that I hope's not going to be lousy at Gainbridge Fieldhouse tomorrow night or Sunday for that matterbut starting with tomorrow night. The blue and orange. The Knicks ORG. Knicks ORG fans being here.

Speaker 106541.04s - 6542.64s

Oh yeah. Well, Spike PERSON will be.

Speaker 176542.64s - 6561.94s

Yeah, in the middle in the middle of the gold out, and you get all these, just, I hope. And that may have been the case, even had the Pacers split in those first two.I just don't want to be, I don't want to be disappointed. Or even embarrassed for that matter. Hopefully that's not the case.

Speaker 106561.94s - 6624.92s

I don't mind them losing. Neither one of these teams are going to be the Celtics ORG. I mean, these guys are fighting to see who gets, you know, pummeled by Boston ORG. But go down, you know, playing well and not turning a 12-point third-quarter lead into down 12 or 13 in the blink of an eye. And have it to where you don't have a, again, game two didn't come down to a call at the end to where the officials screwed you.Game one, it did. But take it out of their hands. You know, get up, and when you're up, put your foot on their neck. And again, the Knicks ORG are one of those teams that they're really easy to hate, just the guys. I mean, it's the neckicks, and it just does. But just take control of it.You're a home. You know, I think you're the better team, top to bottom. I really do think they are. But, you know, are they going to score 130-some points every game to win? I don't think they're going to turn into a good defensive team overnight. I think this is kind of the opposite.

Speaker 56625.08s - 6626.52s

This is who they are.

Speaker 106627.34s - 6658.2s

But you can't have given up 15 to 3 runs a couple times in a game and disappear. And I don't know. They're still fun to watch. They are. That's why I don't want to see it end, you know, in a crash and burn thing. You know, make the Knicks ORG come out and win it.And get a decent enough lead to where Brunson can't score 10 points in the last two minutes and beaches. So I don't know. Again, whenever you don't win, do something else. But I hope they do something else because what they've done so far has it worked.

Speaker 176658.96s - 6668s

Yeah, this team can't survive with their lack of defense an 18 point third quarter and the way that they move offensively. You just can't survive that.

Speaker 106668s - 6673.28s

I mean, the Knicks aren't, the Knicks aren't loyal to Merrimount PERSON for crying out. They're not going to score 150 points.

Speaker 176673.58s - 6676.34s

Well, they looked like it. They put up 130 points last night.

Speaker 106676.6s - 6681.26s

They may have been LMEU last night, yes. Crazy, crazy, crazy.

Speaker 176682.42s - 6685.06s

Hey, rookies in town, correct? Yeah, three days, Friday, Saturday, crazy. Hey, rookies in town, correct?

Speaker 106685.9s - 6786.26s

Yeah, three days, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. We get two days, Friday, Saturday, of watching practice and talking to these guys. It'll be cool. We've already talked to the rookies on their draft day, but this is a chance to where you can really stand thereand talk to them and have some decent dialogue. And this is an important time because it gets the rookies in town. You know, okay, here's where you work. Here's where meeting rooms are. Here's where the cafeteria is. Here's where the – it gives them a chance to kind of get their feet on the groundbefore they get thrown in with the vets at a later time. So it's really important. And, you know, it'll be good to talk to Latu and Mitchell PERSON and all these guys and just sort of see how they're settling in. But, yeah, it's just like the next step. And we're not going to see, I don't think we see the rest of the team for another two weeks, I think when OTA started, we get like, I don't know what it is, three or four practices, or maybe six practices, including Minicamp EVENT, or actually see, you know, we've not laid eyes on Anthony Richardson PERSON yet as far as, you know, practice. We'll see that in a couple of weeks, which is everything points towards good things, and we've seen videos that even throw on. So it's always good to kind of get back in and actually see players and see the draft picks and just see how this team sort of looks. We're not going to see how the team looks this weekend because, again, it's rookies and like first-year players, but it's always a great time to sort of get eased into it.And, you know, like nothing else is going on with the Pacers ORG and the fever and the track. So it's a good time to sort of get eased back in from our standpoint with the guys who cover the Colts ORG.

Speaker 176788.26s - 6795.28s

Mike Chapel of CBS 4 and Fox 59. He's on the Andy Moore Automotive Group ORG potline. So when's the official schedule release?

Speaker 106796.78s - 6799.38s

The 15th, I think it's Wednesday, I think.

Speaker 176799.58s - 6803.88s

Okay. Yeah, it is. May the 15th, exactly, yes.

Speaker 106805.16s - 6806.66s

And it's amazing to me,

Speaker 176806.74s - 6807.72s

amazing to me,

Speaker 106808.34s - 6850.38s

that the NFL ORG can turn giving you dates into an event. I mean, if they could turn the draft into five days, they would do it, and they've turned this schedule. We know who, we know where, we know who they're playing, we know where they're playing, and we just don't know when, which is important, obviously know who they're playing. We know where they're playing. We just don't know when, which is important, obviously. But the fact that they've turned this into such an event, you know, it just showed you the power in the moxie of the NFL ORG to make this an event. So good for them. But it shows you the power of the NFL ORG totally that people have sort of circle this on the calendar and see who plays who plays win in 2024.

Speaker 176851.62s - 6855.52s

Next up, like voluntary minicamp, you'll be treating that like it's

Speaker 106855.52s - 6857.5s

training camp.

Speaker 176858.5s - 6859.62s

You know, again, people

Speaker 106859.62s - 6894.56s

have been that you know, again, people, bitch are known about the Pro Bowl EVENT, the Pro Bowl games now is what it's called, and it still gets a decent rating. It still outdraws baseball and some NBA ORG, so it just shows you the power. That's why people put out there how Goodell PERSON talked about where it was that. Maybe it was the owner meetings or where it was that. Maybe it's a draft. And he casually threw out their 18 games. They never casuallythrow stuff out there. So people in the next few years have to prepare themselves for an 18-game season because it's coming because what the NFL ORG wants, the NFL gets. So just prepare yourself.

Speaker 176895.64s - 6906.18s

And also prepare yourself for more of the viewing of Amazon Prime because how long, how further down the road is this entire thing going to be pay-per-view?

Speaker 106907.34s - 6939.64s

I hope that's not the case, but that's where the money is. This is one of those where you say, how much? How much do you really need? How much is enough? And, you know, with the NFL ORG, it's never enough. Yeah, I'm not crazy about that just because, you know, those of us who really want to watchit, we will. But, you know, Ma and Paul Kettle PERSON, they can't afford all their stuff. At first, they probably can't figure it out. But I just don't like to see them limit the fan base that can't afford the extra, what, six or eight bucks a month or whatever.

Speaker 06939.64s - 6943.44s

I hate to see that, but that's where the next money stream is.

Speaker 106943.52s - 6943.98s

It just is.

Speaker 176945.24s - 6955.1s

Well, you keep raising the bar like this and finding, you know, more ways, you know, take advantage and make more money. That's going to be it. So it is.

Speaker 106955.1s - 6978.14s

They used to keep gambling and all that, you know, at arm's length with a 10-foot pole. And now, you know, the Raiders in Vegas GPE and teams are hooked up to these sites. And they're trying again. And that's where the money is. That's where the money streams are. So, you know, good luck trying to keep everything in order when you're in bed with the gambling business as well.

Speaker 176978.14s - 6979.24s

It's all about money.

Speaker 106979.5s - 6990.46s

Adding, yeah, adding apps and streams and, you know, you cut the cord, and now you simplified things, and the more you move forward to watch what you want to watch,

Speaker 176990.48s - 6993.4s

to see what you want to see, you're going to have to be adding, you know,

Speaker 106993.44s - 6994.78s

apps and things of that day.

Speaker 176994.82s - 6996.12s

It's going to be never ending.

Speaker 106996.32s - 7018.7s

It just is. I hope we don't get to that point, but why would I think we won't? I just think, you know, again, it's about the money, but at the same time you're going to be cutting down a portion, a think, you know, again, it's about the money, but at the same time, you're going to be cutting down a portion, a small portion, yes, probably of your fan base, because some people won't go that route. But anyone who thinks that's not coming, you're just having been paying attention.

Speaker 177019.2s - 7024.62s

This may sound a little bit more, but maybe I won't be around for a lot of that, I guess, once we get further down the road.

Speaker 107024.78s - 7029.94s

And wherever I end up, it's coming before your 70, I'll tell you that.

Speaker 177031.12s - 7059.16s

Wherever, wherever I end up in the hereafter, hopefully it's like it was when we had the big satellite dish and got absolutely everything in before people realized that we were doing that. That's what I want. I want a television antenna on top of a telephone pole in a rural area like Green County and a big satellite dish to get in absolutely everything. That's where I'm going to go.

Speaker 107059.46s - 7074.08s

In the earlier days of HBO ORG and all that one with the cable and all this. And I didn't have it, but my brother-in-law had one of those deals you put on your, you're outside a little tube you put on it. You robbed the signal.

Speaker 57075.08s - 7076.2s

Oh, yeah, exactly.

Speaker 107076.78s - 7083.72s

It was good having it until I had to get, had to have Tomcast ORG come out and do some work. And he said, hey, you're not supposed to have this.

Speaker 57083.8s - 7086.06s

I didn't know that was there.

Speaker 107086.22s - 7088.26s

That didn't go over very well, but that was my defense.

Speaker 177088.5s - 7088.68s

Yeah.

Speaker 107089.52s - 7095.7s

We had the scrambler, and at the very beginning of it, you would just, it would discramble for

Speaker 177095.7s - 7097.06s

about six months, it would last.

Speaker 107097.44s - 7101.46s

And then it was for three months, and then it was for a month, and then it was for three

Speaker 177101.46s - 7113.7s

weeks, and then it was for a week. And then they just started doing it like every hour and you just had to you had to cave and to end up purchase when it was much what it was much cheaper to purchase back then

Speaker 107113.7s - 7126.96s

you just had to get it but yeah it's five bucks five bucks and then they get you hooked in it's 10 bucks and before you know it's 20 so it's hey everything's about money and I understand that but just don't leave too many people behind when you go that route.

Speaker 177128.18s - 7138.7s

He is Mike Chappell on the Andy Moore on a Moniff Group ORG hotline, joining us from CBS 4 and Fox 59 ORG. It's always a pleasure, buddy. We'll talk next week. Looking forward to it.

Speaker 107138.72s - 7139.04s

Be well.

Speaker 177140s - 7140.6s

You got it.

Speaker 107140.64s - 7143.62s

Miss M's home and Gardner PERSON location, and Ms. M.

Speaker 177143.9s - 7225.4s

Mary PERSON is going to join me on the other side, too, tell you about what is a fantastic place. People in Johnson County GPE, specifically right here, know exactly what I'm talking about. And as I mentioned a little bit earlier, too, you're lucky because in Hamilton County GPE, you've got that north location, which is sundown gardens. But down here, it's like one of one, which is wonderful. So if you're talking Morgan County, check, Johnson County GPE, as I mentioned, absolutely. Shelby County can get over here, Bartholome you can get here, Brown County GPE can get here. It is the epicenter of everything you need for your property, your yard, your interior, exterior for the spring and the summer, and Mary PERSON will tell you all about that. Plus, a $200 gift card we have for you to give away as well. Game three tomorrow, I do have time, James.Set people up at 239, 1070 for some final thoughts on that pace or loss in game number two before we end the show. And the pre-season home opener for the fever also going down later on tonight. So that's and a lot more. We got two NBA postseason games of note later on this evening. Two, we got that and social distortion and bad religion tickets to give away before we bail two.Miss M's Home and Garden, 135, Bargersville, the location on this Thursday with 935 and 107-5, The Fan ORG.

Speaker 07228.6s - 7241.76s

Whether it's audiobooks or all-time greatest hits, long-live listening to your favorites. Learn more about Kisgali PRODUCT ribocycly 200 milligrams at KISQAILI.com and talk to your doctor to see if Kisgali is right for you.

Speaker 47242.96s - 7258.24s

The Ride with JMV. You are more reptile than man, George, so low and flat that the foot of man is incapable of crushing you. How dare you? 935 and 107-5. The fan.

Speaker 177258.96s - 7308.2s

All right, social D and bad religion. I think earlier I almost said bad English LANGUAGE and that's a different band altogether right there. Bad religion, social distortion, the legendary rocker mightness in Social D. Coming up to Everwise Amphitheater FAC, in Irwight River State Park FAC,I want to say that that is next week, I believe. Great show, great rock show. Number 9, 239, 1070 is going to be able to go on us right here. James back at the studio. Dev's the on-side engineer. We got Landed and Chris out here, Ms. M. M.'s home and garden with us today, 135 FAC. We're down in Bargarsville. It's a little bit south of Weiland Road. And I mentioned when we were actually had her do the commercial a moment ago. Mary is here from Ms. M.'s home and Garden down here in Bargisville GPE.Thanks for having us today. How are you?

Speaker 17308.34s - 7309.12s

I'm wonderful.

Speaker 177309.32s - 7311.26s

Thanks for having. I am having an absolute blast.

Speaker 17311.52s - 7312.08s

Oh, great.

Speaker 177312.2s - 7315.68s

And see, this is my, this is my domain. I'm only like four miles away.

Speaker 17315.78s - 7320.64s

Which is even, even better. I know you guys are getting a brand new backyard here too.

Speaker 07321.04s - 7324.78s

So now you can, I know about the snake stories.

Speaker 17326.28s - 7333.88s

I've heard about the snake story from Ryan PERSON. But, uh, so the story about Ms. M's and the whole evolution in this place down here. So we have a store up in Westfield GPE called

Speaker 177333.88s - 7336.08s

Sundown Gardens FAC. People know that in Hamilton County

Speaker 17336.08s - 7344.02s

very well. Yes. It's loved. Just southwest of Grand Park FAC there. And Pat and Denny PERSON. Yes. You're a home and garden show. I know

Speaker 177344.02s - 7345.04s

them well. You know them? I know them very well. I call in their show every Saturday. So Denny PERSON, Yes. Your home and garden show? I know them well. You know them?

Speaker 17345.88s - 7347.2s

I know them very well. I call in their show every Saturday.

Speaker 177347.48s - 7352.88s

So Denny refers to that store as Miss Mary PERSON's gift shop.

Speaker 17353.54s - 7359.06s

And so when we was building this store, we knew we needed a different name because we have different promotions.

Speaker 177359.44s - 7360.78s

And there's a pumpkin patch there.

Speaker 17360.88s - 7361.68s

There's none here.

Speaker 07362.14s - 7364.92s

So we didn't want people confused showing up, where's your pumpkin patch?

Speaker 57364.92s - 7365.22s

So we kind of spun off of what Denny PERSON was referring to it as Miss There's none here. So we didn't want people confused showing up, where's your pumpkin patch?

Speaker 07369.92s - 7372.52s

So we kind of spun off of what Denny was referring to it as Miss Mary's gift shopped and called it Miss M's Home and Garden ORG.

Speaker 177372.72s - 7378.08s

I love it too. I am a little disappointed that Denny has not been here today.

Speaker 17378.2s - 7378.96s

He has not.

Speaker 177379.06s - 7381.44s

Because I'm a big Denny PERSON's fan, as people know.

Speaker 17381.56s - 7382.98s

He was flying over yesterday.

Speaker 177383.4s - 7401.9s

He's got this little helicopter. I know. He kept flying over and buzz in us yesterday. He's like McGiver PERSON. He's like McIver PERSON. He's a lot of those things. But Denny is awesome and I know that the Home and Garden ORG show on IBC is going to be here not this Saturday by a week from Saturday. Is that

Speaker 17401.9s - 7405.88s

correct? Next week. We had the 18th. Yeah, the 18th.

Speaker 177405.88s - 7436.74s

And I'll slide over here and join them because I call in every Saturday and hang out with Pat and Denny and Stacey and Allison PERSON and everybody there. It's always a blast. Hey, Mother's Day, you mentioned too a little bit earlier. Great destination for Mother's Day. And then if you really want to make your outdoor and you guys have done my landscaping, it's absolutely incredible.People thought I was selling my home because it looks so great. Just all that you have to offer, especially this time of year, to make the property around your house, the interior of your house look great.

Speaker 17436.84s - 7442.66s

Yeah. We even have, like, patio furniture that you can purchase for your out yard living. Yeah.

Speaker 177442.78s - 7444.12s

Indoor and outdoor living.

Speaker 17444.2s - 7448.1s

Because it's so important nowadays. Your outdoor living space is as important as anything,

Speaker 177448.26s - 7449.14s

especially this time of year.

Speaker 17449.26s - 7452.12s

Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Especially with weather like today. Yeah.

Speaker 177452.12s - 7452.24s

Pretty.

Speaker 17452.6s - 7474.76s

Exactly. Well, it's kind of going, it's going on and off a little bit with this right now, but it's been hanging too. What will people see in the nursery? We've got all kinds of trees and shrubs, and we even install them for you if you need us to do that. But a lot of our customers down here, we found our ones that like to do it themselves. So we accommodate either direction. If you want us come out and do it, we can do it.

Speaker 177474.86s - 7480.5s

Senter Grove FAC people are doing it yourselfers? That's a new one on me. I thought the center grovers down here

Speaker 17480.5s - 7486.16s

were to get somebody else to doers. Well, some of them prefer that, but a lot of them are... I know the ones I know

Speaker 177486.16s - 7488.18s

are, let's get somebody else to do it for me.

Speaker 17488.8s - 7502.44s

So most of them, anyway. But no, I knew this place, and I told Denny PERSON this, and I told Brian this, this place was going to want to go huge, and it has, congratulations on everything. Everyone's been veryhappy and pleased when they come in.

Speaker 177502.96s - 7512.64s

Very positive. We hit so many different places. I mentioned Martinsville, Moresville GPE, Whiteland, Greenwood GPE, Columbus, Trafalgar, Franklin.

Speaker 17513.1s - 7513.7s

Bloomington GPE.

Speaker 177513.88s - 7521.66s

Yeah, I mean, yeah, exactly. Shelbyville, I mean, Greensburg GPE, they're coming from all directions. So easy to get to. So easy to get to. Now, what are your hours here?

Speaker 17522.16s - 7527.56s

We're open 10 to 6 Monday through Friday and Saturday 9 to 5 and Sunday 11 to 4.

Speaker 177527.86s - 7556.5s

You got it. That's Miss M's Home and Garden and Mary here again. Stop by in Bargarsville GPE. If you don't have time today, stop by and mention that you heard us right here and take advantage of the great deals. You can hang out there just for a second.239-1070 is the number. I know still we've got a lot of pacer talk going on here before the end of the show as well. Scott, I believe, is it 239, 1070 right now number. I know still we get a lot of pacer talk going on here before the end of the show as well. Scott, I believe, is it 239, 1070 right now. Hello, Scott PERSON. How are you? Hey, good, JNV PERSON. Can you hear me?I got you, Scott PERSON. Can you hear us? I can.

Speaker 147557.44s - 7559.22s

I feel like that's missing the party.

Speaker 177560.36s - 7594.62s

Well, you are missing the party. I saw Scott last week, in fact. This is Scott with Miss M's Home and Garden and Sundown Gardens FAC. He's in charge of all the landscaping, and he puts it all together. And I want to mention this about Scott PERSON. What he did to my house was nothing short of a miracle. It was miraculous how it looks right now. And how long have you been part of this, Scott PERSON? 20 years. 20 years. 20 years. All right. Tell everybody out there what we have to offer. And Mary PERSON's still on here as well. Tell everybody.

Speaker 147595.76s - 7617.04s

Well, you know, up here on the north side, kind of offering our landscape design install services. Speaker 127734.74s - 7764.4s

Nemhart to the top of the circle, Jackson PERSON. Shovels it back out to Nemhart PERSON, moving to his left. Cross court pass to Neesmith, bluffs the three. Up top. McConnell, back to Neesmith ORG. Five to shoot. Neesmith thrives. Got to the hoop. Bounced it to the cornermith, bluffs the three. Up top, McConnell, back to Neesmith, five to shoot.Knee Smith drives, got to the hoop, bounced it to the corner.

Speaker 177766.18s - 7845.18s

So Mark Boyle right there, Mark, and Eddie Gill and Pat Boylan coming your way tomorrow. 630 pregame show. Ben Shepard PERSON has played incredibly well. Fever Home Preseason opener is tonight at Gainbridge Fieldhouse FAC. Game three tomorrow night, again, tip time seven. 630 coverage begins right here on the fan after me and then after the last word. Two games tonight in the postseason, Cavalier Celtics 7 o'clock. With the Celtics up a game and that best of seven Eastern Conference ORG semifinal. And the Thunder Up game on the Mavericks ORG. Game two right there is tonight at 9.30 from O.K.C. out west. Frank Vogel fired earlier today as head coach of the Phoenix Suns, Patrick Beverly. By virtue of that game six meltdown throwing the basketball and the level of Jack Assery PERSON, which was ridiculous, suspended for fourgames if and when he is on an NBA squad coming up next year. That and a lot more we've discussed today, but I want to work some calls in, and hopefully more of a discussion piece tomorrow is hopefully we don't see a lot of Nick PERSON fans in that place during that gold out. More of a discussion on that coming up on tomorrow's show. But Todd's next at 239, 1070. Todd PERSON, welcome to the show. Thanks, John PERSON.

Speaker 157845.5s - 7855.74s

Hey, by way, I sent you the message about free samples. If Denny Smith PERSON's going to take over, Halby PERSON's segment, you've got to have free samples, right?

Speaker 177856.38s - 7878.72s

Yes, there's no question about that. I thought maybe he would fly over in his, like, makeshift plane. What are those things called? Those things that you're, it's like a cage, you're flying in, and there's not much of it. It's like a lawnmower engine and you're way too high to be flying above the groundand a lawnmower engine. I forget what they're called. I go back to Big John Gillis and Paul Page PERSON.

Speaker 157878.84s - 7879.24s

Good God.

Speaker 57881.5s - 7882.12s

No doubt.

Speaker 157882.2s - 7882.8s

What you got, Todd PERSON?

Speaker 57883.76s - 7888.22s

Hey, by my way, just real, real quick,, will Blake Gulliver PERSON be a sycamore?

Speaker 177889.46s - 7915.34s

He will. I think at some point, yes. I think he's going to, he's going to have to get some things done with me, but yes, that's what he's eye, it's what he's eyeballing. He mentions IU ORG a little bit as well. And for some reason, he talked about Cincinnati GPE. I don't know why that was. But it's probably going to be where I can best help him get in. So I'd imagine.

Speaker 157917.66s - 7920.54s

I don't know if you're superstitious at all.

Speaker 177920.84s - 7923.06s

I think I went to seven games this year.

Speaker 157923.24s - 7926.12s

The paces were two and five. And one of the wins was team three against Milwaukee. And then even, I think I went to seven games this year. The paces were two and five, and one of the wins

Speaker 57926.12s - 7927.76s

was team three against Milwaukee ORG.

Speaker 177928.34s - 7929.76s

And then, I think I want to step further.

Speaker 157930.64s - 7932.28s

On the rare times, the Pacers

Speaker 57932.28s - 7933.42s

are on national TV.

Speaker 157934.36s - 7948.38s

When I watched T&T ORG or whatever, the Pacers suck. When I watched Chris and Quinn PERSON, they actually seem to play better. So I was invited tomorrow night's game, and I'm staying home because I'm afraid I'm going

Speaker 177948.38s - 7982.3s

to screw it up for you. I'm going to screw up the team. I normally stay home just because for the benefit of me doing this show after a game, the TV view is so much better. And if I go to the game, I don't want to come back home. I have to watch that crap again. But I am going to go tomorrow, and if I'm going to go, I don't want to come back home and have to watch that crap again. But I am going to go tomorrow, and if I'm going to go, that means something special is going to happen. So be aware of that. Game three LAW will have me there, so I expect a high level of playand a blowout. That's my expected. It better be that tomorrow night if I'm going to show my ass up there. So that's my expectation.

Speaker 157983.34s - 7996.82s

The phrase at this point must win is almost redundant. Yeah. But I always felt this was a seven-game series, and unfortunately, that puts game

Speaker 177996.82s - 8038.86s

seven and probably not the Pacer ORG's best arrangement. You got it. I got to run here. I hear the closing bed rolling, but you're right. I had the Pacers best arrangement. You got it. Todd PERSON, I got to run here. I hear the closing bed rolling, but you're right. I had the Pacers in seven. They just haven't given me reason to believe into that.I think this can be a lengthy series, but they've got to get the winning, get the winning right now. Todd PERSON, thank you. If you're on hold, special privileges on the show tomorrow to call in and get right on with me.Thank everybody at Miss Hems' Home and Garden ORG again. Brian and Mary, Landon, Chris, Dev, James back of the studio, our guest and you, most importantly for hanging for this three hours on 93-5-107-5-5-the-fan. Have a great night.
