Speaker 4121.06s - 125s
I don't know about all that, but, yeah, you got a cast. I didn't say it was what kind but yeah, you got a cast.
Speaker 3128.52s - 128.82s
I didn't say it was, what kind of cast it was. You have little faith.
Speaker 4130.8s - 131.12s
Yes. We got this. We got this.
Speaker 2135.74s - 136.16s
I was just wondering who was going to be the lead hostess today. The lead hostess?
Speaker 4139.52s - 139.94s
Yeah, it was going to be me. It was going to be you. Okay, the lead hostess. You never know.
Speaker 2143.14s - 143.94s
Yeah, I can host. We're good. We can do it either way.
Speaker 4145.58s - 147.44s
Yeah, man. It seems, we don't do the show too often together.
Speaker 2147.58s - 148.3s
It's been a minute for me.
Speaker 3148.3s - 151.42s
It's been like two weeks since I've been on a radio.
Speaker 2151.84s - 152.14s
But hey.
Speaker 4152.68s - 154.26s
That's all scheduling.
Speaker 2154.44s - 155.02s
I appreciate that.
Speaker 4155.08s - 158.94s
That's the scheduling Nazi over there doesn't let you do the...
Speaker 2158.94s - 159.64s
Nazi, wow.
Speaker 3160.88s - 162.02s
This is a strong word.
Speaker 2162.22s - 164.06s
Yeah, we'd be hosting five times next week.
Speaker 4164.14s - 164.82s
Yeah, right?
Speaker 2166.18s - 167.32s
Oh, my goodness. Hey, so we got to, like I said, we got a strong word. Yeah, I would be hosting five times next week. Yeah, right? Oh, my goodness.
Speaker 3167.78s - 170.06s
Hey, so we got a, like I said, we got a great show.
Speaker 2170.22s - 173.38s
Obviously, on the lead-up, I heard something that really piqued my interest.
Speaker 4173.44s - 174.44s
So I had to look it up.
Speaker 3174.82s - 178.54s
Ipe Mizahara, Shohei Otani's PERSON de facto manager,
Speaker 4179.7s - 188.64s
pleading guilty to federal bank fraud and tax fraud charges faces up to 33 years in prison.
Speaker 3190.24s - 195.86s
And I'm looking at this now and he's going to be required to pay full restitution to the victims,
Speaker 4195.86s - 202.3s
which is basically $17 million to show hey and another $1.1 million to the IRS ORG.
Speaker 3202.54s - 204.4s
That's like $18 million.
Speaker 5205.38s - 208.1s
This guy ain't got two dimes to rub together.
Speaker 3209.14s - 211.28s
He's not providing restitution.
Speaker 2211.54s - 213.7s
Well, he's going to have to start gambling or something.
Speaker 5213.88s - 215s
He might have to make some money.
Speaker 2215.24s - 216.24s
Yeah, I got a good strategy.
Speaker 3216.44s - 218.52s
He can come just call me and I can help him.
Speaker 4218.6s - 221.04s
Anytime Johnny Mansell's playing, vote four.
Speaker 3221.5s - 223.8s
Yeah, we're going to bet four.
Speaker 2224.96s - 227.24s
Yeah, no, that's, I'm looking at that. I'm just like,
Speaker 4227.46s - 233.06s
I'm still kind of in shock that Shohay PERSON didn't know that there was nearly $20 million
Speaker 3233.06s - 240.86s
missing from his, just his checking account. And it just, it boggles the mind. Yeah, right?
Speaker 4240.9s - 245.44s
Yeah, it's kind of like that. Did you all see the Brady Roast? Oh, yeah, I saw about half of it.
Speaker 3245.44s - 250.8s
I haven't got the other half done. I don't know the chick name, but she was like, I almost felt like Shohei Hotani PERSON had a grunk moment.
Speaker 5251.16s - 254s
Like me not know where my money go, you know.
Speaker 3257.32s - 259.58s
That one, Nikki Glazer, you're talking about.
Speaker 4260.22s - 268.66s
She nailed it. If you didn't get a chance to watch the Tom Brady roast, for Stephen PERSON, I don't think it was long enough.
Speaker 2268.84s - 272.4s
It was three hours. You could have kept on going for a couple of days. I've been doing it for years.
Speaker 3273.12s - 291.88s
Just keep on going. Just keep the hits on coming. But, yeah, Ipe PERSON is going to be going to prison for a long time. It's going to be upwards of 33 years in prison. Obviously, he's fallen on a sword a little bit, so I'm guessing the, uh, the, uh, the, uh, the prison time's not going to be that long, but it's definitely, he's going to be spent in some time.
Speaker 2291.88s - 293.92s
He's not even fighting it. He just said, yo, I'm guilty.
Speaker 3294.08s - 306.18s
Yeah. Like, well, that's why, if you know anything about law enforcement, the federal, you know, the judge, they're going to look at that and be like, yeah, he owned up to it. He's sorry. Yeah, that 33 years just became five. That's crazy. You know, or something. I don't know. Probably do two. Yeah, I'll probably do two with, uh, he owned up to it. He's sorry. That 33 years just became five. That's crazy.
Speaker 4306.18s - 306.92s
You know, or something.
Speaker 3307.04s - 307.36s
I don't know.
Speaker 4307.36s - 313.52s
Probably do two. Yeah, he'll probably do two with good behavior or something. Basically, he stole $16 million from Shoy ORG.
Speaker 3313.72s - 320.3s
Yeah, $16,000, 975 to be exact. And then there's, the IRS is 1.1.
Speaker 4320.52s - 321.76s
Well, it's angel money, so.
Speaker 3321.94s - 322.56s
It's angel money.
Speaker 4322.56s - 329.12s
So it's, when you're coming from a poverty franchise like the Angels ORG. You said it, man. That's your team.
Speaker 2331.28s - 335.62s
Well, they always say like in the past, if you, you know, go big,
Speaker 4335.66s - 339.34s
usually don't do a lot of time. But if it was just a stealing a couple
Speaker 3339.34s - 341.84s
million, he probably would spend 20 years in June.
Speaker 4341.84s - 346.66s
Well, I mean, but then let's talk about another fraud, FTX, right?
Speaker 3347.02s - 361.02s
So Shohei loses $16,17 million. Then you get the same Sam Bankman-F PERSON or whatever his name is, SBF, and they wound up losing how much money in that, that whole thing.
Speaker 4361.14s - 371.12s
But then I just read news today that came out that said that the customers of the failed cryptocurrency exchange FTX ORG are poised to recover all of the money they lost.
Speaker 3372.02s - 379.5s
And then some. Hallelujah. Yeah. So I guess it pays to invest with a crooked cryptocurrency. I mean.
Speaker 4379.72s - 386.06s
Are you listening, Tom Brady PERSON? Are you listening? Are you listening? Kevin O'Leary was like a brand ambassador for FTCHA ORG.
Speaker 3386.26s - 387.12s
Right, right?
Speaker 4387.3s - 390.56s
I'm surprised that they still listen to this guy. I mean, none, I mean.
Speaker 3390.9s - 431.88s
So, yeah, so it imploded, obviously, if you don't know, FTCS, Sam Bankman-Fried PERSON. It was fraud. Basically, they were stealing money. They were living a lavish lifestyle, the whole thing. The House of Cards comes crashing down. They wind up, you know, now being charged, and they're probably going to be doing some serious prison time. How many billions of dollars? It was like $8 billion in assets that were just disappeared. $8 billion. So the lawyers that are going through the creditors and trying to figure out where all the money is and how they can get it.Well, so the lawyers that are, you know, doing the conservatorship, they said that their clients are going to receive 118% of the assets they had stored on FTX.
Speaker 4432.6s - 433.24s
118%.
Speaker 3433.24s - 438.06s
So they get an extra. Yeah, so they're getting some interest. Some interest on that. Hey.
Speaker 4438.52s - 439.16s
Hey, you know what?
Speaker 3439.16s - 439.76s
Before that, man.
Speaker 4440.64s - 443.5s
But Sammy Boy PERSON is going to prison.
Speaker 3443.92s - 444.2s
Yeah.
Speaker 4444.3s - 446.84s
And so is his girlfriend and everybody else.
Speaker 3446.94s - 447.7s
I don't know if you mentioned it,
Speaker 4447.74s - 450.16s
but how are they doing 118%?
Speaker 3450.4s - 511.58s
It's, you know, again. Is it borrowed money from the, is this money is coming from the government or the banking system? No,this is coming from creditors. And, you know, anytime you're dealing with some kind of a situation like this, you have a third party administrator that comes in andactually, you know, finds that money, right? And tries to figure out through forensic accounting and everything to try and figure out where all the money wound up going to. Now, a lot of it is stuff that's already been spent or whatever. But when you're talking about creditors and all these other things, and also there are still investments that were invested in, even if it was fraudulently taken and put into other accounts, they're basically capturing that back. And so what happened was they were able to capture more than the $8 billion. Because in some cases, many of the investments that were ill-gotten gains or whatever, that's coming back to the creditors as well.So yeah. Yeah. So, yeah. Yeah. So it pays sometimes to invest with a shady crypto company if that's what you want to do.
Speaker 4511.7s - 517.32s
That is not advice. Please don't do that. You've been to throw that disclaimer out there, man.
Speaker 3517.32s - 520.12s
Not advice.
Speaker 4520.36s - 521.7s
Don't do that. Yeah.
Speaker 3522.24s - 527.3s
So, you know, good for the creditors, good the creditors, good for the investors that, you know,
Speaker 4527.32s - 532.8s
are going to, you know, make that money back. Is that a big, is this the biggest Ponzi scheme since Madoff PERSON?
Speaker 3532.92s - 539.04s
It's since Madoff PERSON, yes. But Madoff, how much was his, it was like 30-something billion or something? It was ridiculous.
Speaker 4539.24s - 545.58s
Did you ever see a movie? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Hey, that movie, like, it was so, like, scary to me because it's like,
Speaker 0546.32s - 548.48s
everybody died of cancer, too.
Speaker 3548.64s - 550.64s
Like, you know, the accountant ended up passionate cancer.
Speaker 0550.64s - 551.04s
Yeah, right.
Speaker 3551.04s - 555s
He ended up, you know, dying in jail or something like that.
Speaker 0555.26s - 562.04s
So, yeah, it's, um, the thing that got to me more so than the movie was recognizing
Speaker 3562.04s - 573.62s
that the guy was creating his own statements on a word document and clients were accepting it. Like it just, huh? That doesn't pencil out for me.
Speaker 4573.68s - 574.88s
Like no signatures or anything?
Speaker 3574.88s - 575.38s
Yeah, no.
Speaker 4575.58s - 594.96s
It's just like, yeah, we're just going to create this word document, email it to all our clients. And this is how much, we're just going to make stuff up, you know, and that's crazy. We're going to add a zero onto the end of this account number to make you think we got, you know, I don't know. It's just, it boggles the mind that, you know, but people get caught up into it. Talk about instant karma, man, because that was crazy.
Speaker 3595.28s - 595.84s
That movie crazy.
Speaker 4596s - 598.48s
So, yeah, it was, it was pretty bad.
Speaker 3598.68s - 604.88s
So anyhow, we got off on a tangent already to start. I told you this was going to buckle up.
Speaker 4605s - 610.4s
This is going to be a show. We're paying Doug Doug Goose PERSON over here. So now I'm going to tag Stephen PERSON. Stephen PERSON, what's going on in the sports world, brother?
Speaker 2611.5s - 612.32s
The playoffs.
Speaker 4612.78s - 613.9s
It looks like...
Speaker 2613.9s - 614.46s
Hockey playoffs?
Speaker 4614.64s - 616.4s
I know you're so big into hockey.
Speaker 3616.72s - 617.42s
Condos are out.
Speaker 2618.66s - 619.54s
That's all I care about.
Speaker 4619.74s - 621.54s
The Detroit Red Wet Rings ORG is the hockey team, right?
Speaker 2621.66s - 622.52s
Yeah, they're out too.
Speaker 4622.52s - 623s
Yeah, they're out too.
Speaker 2623.1s - 624.36s
Yeah, they're out too.
Speaker 4625.1s - 627.28s
No, I was... I'm kind of surprised.
Speaker 3627.48s - 631.56s
I'm rooting for the Timberwolves because I just don't like the Denver Nuggets ORG.
Speaker 4631.94s - 635.5s
And they're up two games on the former NBA ORG champs.
Speaker 2635.64s - 637.28s
They beat Denver Nuggets?
Speaker 4637.48s - 638.48s
Yeah, they're up to O.
Speaker 3638.82s - 639.14s
Oh.
Speaker 2639.26s - 639.6s
Yeah.
Speaker 3639.82s - 640.8s
They're up to O'O.
Speaker 2641.12s - 642.9s
And they're coming back to Minnesota GPE, right?
Speaker 3642.94s - 645.88s
Yeah, they took both of them in Denver GPE so my
Speaker 2645.88s - 647.96s
that's amazing surprise that is a big
Speaker 3647.96s - 651.82s
surprise so guess what the Lakers ORG would not have made it past the Minnesota Timberwolves either
Speaker 4651.82s - 657.16s
so the favor obviously for the series was Denver GPE right yep so the odds were
Speaker 3657.16s - 659.22s
Denver GPE made some money off of
Speaker 2659.22s - 662.12s
oh serious money Denver GPE's favorite to win the title
Speaker 3662.12s - 664.16s
yeah and they doesn't seem like they're
Speaker 2664.16s - 665.24s
going to if they can't come back.
Speaker 4665.44s - 666.2s
You know what?
Speaker 2666.24s - 667.48s
Honestly, I would take those odds.
Speaker 4667.7s - 670.08s
I would, this would be the time that I would.
Speaker 2670.18s - 671.2s
That is not a recommendation.
Speaker 4671.2s - 672.4s
That's not a recommendation either.
Speaker 2672.86s - 673.12s
Okay.
Speaker 4673.94s - 674.52s
That is not.
Speaker 3674.6s - 676.12s
We're just jabbing each other.
Speaker 4676.2s - 679.62s
But I would take those eyes, you know, for them to come back if the eyes were looking at,
Speaker 3679.62s - 681.78s
what the eyes look like today for them to win a show?
Speaker 4681.86s - 682.08s
You don't know.
Speaker 3683.68s - 685.68s
Let's not broadcast that over the air.
Speaker 4686.62s - 689.7s
That's for Vegas and Jack Kings PERSON and all that.
Speaker 2690s - 693.64s
That's the news and the dolphins got Beckham PERSON, so we'll see.
Speaker 4694.62s - 695.1s
Oh, Beckham PERSON.
Speaker 2696.1s - 696.84s
Speaker 3697.02s - 697.18s
Yeah.
Speaker 2697.64s - 698.32s
The toenail.
Speaker 3699s - 701.44s
He's just on toenail away from sitting on that sideline.
Speaker 2701.94s - 704.52s
I see that guy on the sideline for every time.
Speaker 4704.52s - 705.2s
Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2705.5s - 709.66s
Well, it's obviously going to, the bad talk is going to come with the guy that he played for.
Speaker 3709.96s - 710.34s
Yeah.
Speaker 2710.78s - 711.36s
Okay, so.
Speaker 3711.36s - 712.88s
He's good for a number three receiver.
Speaker 2712.98s - 713.94s
I'll just be happy with that.
Speaker 3714.32s - 716.94s
Okay, so compare, and try not to be biased on this.
Speaker 2717.34s - 720.7s
Compare, you got J. Laudeau, you got Tyreek Hill, and you got OBJ PERSON.
Speaker 3721.06s - 722.74s
You now compare that with the Texans ORG.
Speaker 2723.34s - 724.74s
You got Stefan Dix PERSON.
Speaker 3724.9s - 725.9s
You got Nico Collins PERSON,
Speaker 2725.96s - 727.1s
who had a breakout year last year,
Speaker 3727.18s - 727.64s
the phenomenal.
Speaker 4728.24s - 728.92s
And then you got,
Speaker 3729s - 730.6s
who's the third head?
Speaker 2730.72s - 731.26s
Speaker 4731.58s - 731.78s
Yeah.
Speaker 3732.8s - 734.2s
Is he coming back from injury, though?
Speaker 4734.28s - 735.1s
Who's a scarier line?
Speaker 2735.14s - 736.24s
What's a scarier lineup to you?
Speaker 3736.56s - 737.78s
I'm not scared of dig,
Speaker 2737.78s - 740.4s
so I put Diggs PERSON up there
Speaker 3740.4s - 743.42s
with the number three receiver for most teams.
Speaker 2743.6s - 743.74s
I mean,
Speaker 4743.82s - 745.04s
these stats have been going downhill. I wish him the best because I really most teams. I mean, his stats have been going downhill.
Speaker 2745.44s - 751.34s
I wish him the best because I really like Houston. I like Stroud PERSON. And I wouldn't be surprised
Speaker 4751.34s - 756.16s
if they sign Xavier Howard as well. Well, I like Tank PERSON, but is he going to be fully healthy coming
Speaker 0756.16s - 760.58s
back after that injury that he had in the playoffs, right? True. I'm just worried about the
Speaker 4760.58s - 765.12s
AFC East. Yeah. I like Houston. I really like Stroud PERSON,
Speaker 3765.38s - 770.18s
but I love seeing a Buffalo ORG looking like they're just going downhill.
Speaker 2770.36s - 770.6s
Yeah.
Speaker 3770.84s - 771.32s
And,
Speaker 2771.32s - 772.04s
yeah,
Speaker 3772.1s - 773.64s
so that's my sports take,
Speaker 2773.76s - 773.92s
but.
Speaker 3773.98s - 777.28s
My sports take is I'm watching hockey playoffs while you guys are all watching
Speaker 2777.28s - 777.84s
other stuff.
Speaker 3778.08s - 780.46s
And who won the Stanley Cup last year?
Speaker 2780.7s - 781.68s
That would be Vegas GPE.
Speaker 3781.88s - 782.1s
Speaker 2782.22s - 783.06s
And they're out,
Speaker 3783.12s - 783.32s
right?
Speaker 2783.4s - 783.72s
They're out.
Speaker 3783.78s - 786.14s
They got taken out by Dallas ORG.
Speaker 2787.68s - 788.76s
I'm actually looking forward.
Speaker 3788.86s - 791.1s
I'm actually kind of at this point since the Kings ORG are out of it.
Speaker 2791.12s - 800.3s
I'm a big Kings ORG fan. So sorry, guys. But they got knocked out. And so now my second team is the New York Rangers ORG just simply because of Jonathan Quick.
Speaker 3800.9s - 806.26s
He's the backup goalie. Get him ring number four. Get him Stanley Cup number four WORK_OF_ART. Right? That's all I care. Is Tampa Bay
Speaker 4806.26s - 807.58s
still got the hockey team?
Speaker 3807.76s - 829.02s
Yeah, I mean, they're okay. They got knocked out, but they're you know, they're a decent team, but yeah, I mean, when you got 32 teams and half of them make the playoffs, I don't know. That's kind of the thing, but I'm rooting for New York GPE.I'm thinking that's going to be a good one. Again, we went off on a tangent. How is the numbers? Let the market do today.
Speaker 4829.02s - 830.16s
I thought we talked about that.
Speaker 3830.22s - 831.96s
I think we skipped right over.
Speaker 4832.06s - 848.34s
I went straight into scams and fraud. Well, we got the S&P that's flat. It's flat for the day. NASDAQ is pretty much flat for today. It was down and rebounded. So we're pretty flat. But if you look at the overall trend from a huge weekly perspective, we're still flat, but if you look at the overall trend from a huge weekly perspective, we're still on the up trend.
Speaker 3849.44s - 851.58s
It wasn't the six day in a row for the Dow to be up?
Speaker 4851.82s - 874.6s
It was like six in a row days? Yep. Longest streak of the year? Absolutely. So like both indexes to S&P and the NASDAQ, from a technical perspective, they are reacting real well bouncing off that 20-week moving average, which is a very bullish indicator. If price could remain to stay above the 20-day moving average, then, you know, I mean, 20-week moving average, then it's a healthy environment for the stock market.
Speaker 3875.24s - 885.94s
Well, then we also see, from a fundamental level, you see that the folks are looking still at the Fed ORG and trying to still figure out what the T leaves are reading.
Speaker 5886.32s - 886.44s
Yeah.
Speaker 3886.64s - 896.06s
And so we saw that the bond yields, the 10 year and the five year and the, they all went up today. So the bond yields went up a touch. Okay.
Speaker 5896.5s - 904.26s
So I think the highest level in a little while. We haven't seen the, the 10 year at 4.5 or 4.6 in some time.
Speaker 4904.44s - 907.62s
So it looked like it was going to be inverted there for a while.
Speaker 3907.62s - 913.5s
It's still inverted. So it's still inverted, but the five and when the five year bond and the 10 year bond
Speaker 4913.5s - 973.38s
have the exact same interest rate, yeah, it was basically 4.5. You know, it's basically a flat line. I mean, you know, you'd hope that you'd get at least a, you know, a couple of basis points, uh, more interest rate on a-year bond than you would have five. But the tens to fives are basically flat. And so, you know, you start looking at the three-month and it's like 5.3, 5.4.So, yeah, we're still in that inverted yield curve. We don't know when that's going to change. But, you know, we're waiting for the Fed ORG to determine what they're going to do. Obviously, they're not, you know, I think June is off the table. Folks are talking maybe September. I still feel that it's probably November before we see a rate decrease, but, you know, only the data will tell. And so that's what's happening in the markets right now is you kind of see this. We got some bad news and some of the tech companies with their earnings reports. That's why the NASDAQ kind of took a little bit of a dive today. But the, you know But the Dow ORG is up. Again, we call the Dow dumb Dow for a reason because, you know, it's only 30 companies. Kind of stupid.Pretty much.
Speaker 5974s - 981.44s
Anyhow. So, I mean, that's kind of what's going on in the markets today. When we come back, we're going to have a nice little discussion about Social Security ORG. You stay tuned.

Welcome back. Little Ramones to take you into your Wednesday afternoon. Thank you, Steve Zie PERSON. Welcome to the Money Wise ORG show. You can call or text into the show anytime. 66136,000.6161,000. We love it when we get messages and calls. And so we actually have a couple that came in over the break. First message here we say is any clue on what the stock price is for Roblox PRODUCT. Surprised I heard last night they had over 70 million users, which blows my mind. My seven-year-old son is actually one million of those users.
Speaker 41053.3s - 1053.32s
I mean, it counts to me.
Speaker 31054.46s - 1057.46s
Well, the other two is mine. My son's. Yeah, my two low ones too.
Speaker 41059.9s - 1060.04s
What do they trade as?
Speaker 31060.88s - 1061.08s
$39.30.
Speaker 41061.52s - 1062.48s
$39.30. $39.30.
Speaker 31063.54s - 1066.38s
That's a publicly traded company is Roblox PRODUCT.
Speaker 41066.38s - 1069.46s
Yeah, Roblox PRODUCT. Roblox, I'm looking at it right now.
Speaker 31069.96s - 1074.64s
And since this inception, the IPO inception in March of 21.
Speaker 41074.94s - 1075.96s
Okay, so about three years.
Speaker 31076.06s - 1079.08s
So it's been going through like a accumulation phase, right?
Speaker 41079.26s - 1083.4s
I see like an accumulation phase and 70 million users.
Speaker 31083.56s - 1086.48s
I mean, the fundamentals is aligned with the technicals. Yeah, yeah. And so right now it's just in a stage one accumulation phase and 70 million users. I mean, the fundamentals is aligned with the technicals.
Speaker 41086.48s - 1086.84s
Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 31087.2s - 1089.52s
And so right now it's just in a stage one accumulation phase,
Speaker 41089.62s - 1095.4s
which means that there's a lot of institutions that are jockeying for a position and acquiring that asset.
Speaker 31095.56s - 1096.92s
This asset and-
Speaker 41096.92s - 1098.78s
70 million users.
Speaker 31099.08s - 1099.4s
That's a lot.
Speaker 41099.4s - 1105.88s
That just does boggle the mind. It's like, that's a lot of kids out there playing on four, uh,
Speaker 31105.88s - 1111.5s
was it four bit technology. Some of it actually is horrible. It's really bad graphics.
Speaker 21111.5s - 1117.92s
It looks worse than, uh, than, you know, Minecraft or whatever. One of them is actually,
Speaker 31117.92s - 1123.46s
I believe, the same people from it. But yeah, my question is going off this Roblox PRODUCT. I wonder how much,
Speaker 21123.46s - 1126.28s
what's the other video or a other program a lot of the YouTube or not YouTube this Roblox PRODUCT, I wonder how much, what's the other video or other program,
Speaker 31126.4s - 1139.94s
a lot of the YouTube, or not YouTube, Roblox uses, like, Discord PRODUCT? Yeah, I've seen that. But a lot of times I've seen where kids, like parents that have their kids allowed to use Roblox PRODUCT, basically say, no, you're not using Discord PRODUCT.
Speaker 21140.24s - 1145.94s
Like, block the kids from, I mean, I would. I mean, you know. I waited until I think he was 12 or 13 before
Speaker 31145.94s - 1158.18s
allowing him used discord ORG just because he was that's how he was playing and talking with his friends while they were building games yeah but is that something that is maybe a is that a tradable type thing
Speaker 21158.18s - 1163.3s
well I mean the thing I look at is that the the kids that are in there I mean there's the the buy-in
Speaker 31163.3s - 1166.16s
stuff right you can buy certain things in the game and they have this like chest of whatever it is that they have and that are in there. I mean, there's the buy-in stuff, right? You can buy certain things in the game, and they have this, like,
Speaker 21166.58s - 1170.22s
chest of whatever it is that they have. And that's money.
Speaker 31170.48s - 1171.18s
That's real money.
Speaker 41171.18s - 1176.3s
Okay. Full disclosure here. Justin is actually one of the users for Roblox PRODUCT.
Speaker 31176.52s - 1178.36s
No, I do. That is my...
Speaker 41178.36s - 1179.76s
He plays the video game, guys.
Speaker 31180.3s - 1183.62s
Ladies and gentlemen, he goes home, and he plays Roblox PRODUCT.
Speaker 41183.74s - 1184.74s
He just don't want to admit that.
Speaker 31185.2s - 1186.18s
That's my account. Log out of my account when don't want to admit that. That's my account.
Speaker 21186.42s - 1188.42s
Log out of my account when you're going to play.
Speaker 31189.3s - 1195.68s
But then I hear from some parents where their kids' Roblox PRODUCT account was actually hacked and things were stolen.
Speaker 21197.22s - 1198.44s
We just lost Internet.
Speaker 31199.82s - 1200.24s
Did you?
Speaker 21200.54s - 1200.92s
I don't know.
Speaker 41201.12s - 1201.86s
I thought I lost her.
Speaker 21202.02s - 1203.14s
No, you could be hit every minute.
Speaker 41203.26s - 1203.42s
Okay.
Speaker 21204.38s - 1205.04s
You get shocked or something? Something happened. What happened? What happened? What? What? Did you? I don't know. I thought I lost her. No, you could hear that for a minute. Okay. Okay. Yeah. I was just like,
Speaker 41206.34s - 1206.52s
you're shocked or something?
Speaker 21207.22s - 1207.5s
Something happened. What happened?
Speaker 41208.22s - 1208.54s
What happened?
Speaker 21210.48s - 1211.44s
What happened?
Speaker 41211.66s - 1211.8s
No,
Speaker 21211.94s - 1213.54s
there was a hacks.
Speaker 41213.78s - 1213.98s
Yeah,
Speaker 31214.08s - 1216.88s
some kids where their accounts were getting hacked.
Speaker 41217.08s - 1218.46s
And then basically those,
Speaker 21218.62s - 1219.02s
uh,
Speaker 31219.02s - 1223.68s
things that they had bought were transferred to other people and basically wiped out.
Speaker 21223.88s - 1224s
Yeah.
Speaker 31224s - 1224.62s
And we're talking to,
Speaker 21224.62s - 1228.74s
in some cases, it can be hundreds of dollars of stuff.
Speaker 31229.12s - 1232.7s
Well, if you figure 70 million users in a hundred bucks a pop,
Speaker 21232.98s - 1234.22s
geez, Louise PERSON.
Speaker 31234.34s - 1235.6s
That's a lot of dough.
Speaker 21235.92s - 1236.88s
That is a lot of dough.
Speaker 31237.66s - 1241.94s
Second message I said, let's see, I'd be surprised at Mizzahar ORG gets any jail time.
Speaker 21242.06s - 1242.7s
Go Giants ORG.
Speaker 31243.4s - 1247.42s
How much money was taken from FTX ORG customers and was wondering who will be paying them back?
Speaker 21247.52s - 1257.12s
So there was about $8 billion, I believe, that was taken from FTX ORG customers. And the conservator is going to be paying them back through basically finding all of the assets
Speaker 31257.12s - 1261.88s
and then redistributing that back to those clients and users.
Speaker 41262.34s - 1263.36s
Boo Giants ORG.
Speaker 31263.66s - 1264.68s
Boo Giants ORG.
Speaker 41264.82s - 1267.86s
Go Angels ORG with no actual.
Speaker 31268.88s - 1272.8s
Maybe if they moved to Long Beach GPE, they'll probably be, you know those rumors about that.
Speaker 41273.36s - 1274.84s
There's been rumors about that for a while.
Speaker 31274.92s - 1277.08s
All I care is Artie Moreno PERSON needs to sell the team.
Speaker 41277.2s - 1280.52s
I'm going to start a campaign, sell the team, sell the team.
Speaker 31281.4s - 1286.64s
This is Discord currently has approximately 614 million registered users as of January 24.
Speaker 41287.2s - 1287.52s
Wow.
Speaker 31288.62s - 1304.78s
614 million users on Discord PRODUCT. Is that more or less than Reddit ORG? Right? I mean, at some point, how many messaging apps do we really need is my question. WhatsApp? Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 21304.78s - 1305.06s
Of obviously we need 10 or 12 more. You know, maybe we can come up with our own. really need is my question. WhatsApp, Discord PRODUCT.
Speaker 31305.44s - 1309.32s
Obviously we need 10 or 12 more. You know, maybe we can come up with our own.
Speaker 21309.56s - 1313.9s
Reddit has 73.1 million daily active users. Okay.
Speaker 31314.06s - 1316.6s
So Discord PRODUCT's like 10X.
Speaker 21317.06s - 1319.98s
267.5 million weekly active users.
Speaker 31320.1s - 1320.98s
Okay, so about half.
Speaker 21321.54s - 1322.2s
That's insane.
Speaker 31322.38s - 1324.32s
That's still nuts.
Speaker 21324.62s - 1325.42s
Still nutty.
Speaker 31326.12s - 1344.66s
Anyhow, moving on. I think everybody in the sound of my voice is probably in some way, shape, or form worried about social security. Because that's what the stats say. Basically, if you're listening to my voice, eight out of ten of you are worried about social security in some way, shape, or form.
Speaker 41345.04s - 1345.98s
Why you're a voice, though.
Speaker 31346.8s - 1355.52s
Well, I mean, I'm just saying that I'm talking to everybody in the world right now because we do have a global reach. Right, Steve Zee PERSON? Of course.
Speaker 21355.82s - 1358.76s
Global reach. Bigger than that.
Speaker 31358.86s - 1360.76s
Bigger than that. Universal reach.
Speaker 21361.04s - 1361.4s
Exactly.
Speaker 31361.7s - 1361.94s
Right.
Speaker 21362.36s - 1367.16s
So if you're hearing his voice, I mean, I have social security questions and
Speaker 31367.16s - 1459.78s
definitely worried if even if it's going to be there when I retire. Yeah. So social security isn't broke. Let's just start there. It's not broke. However, it is badly broken. Okay. It needs to be fixed. It's broke, but not broken. It's broke, but it's badly broken. There you go. Right. You like that.Anyhow. So eight out of 10 individuals have some worry or extreme worry about social security. And for good reason, because the social security trust fund, um, the trustees of the social security Medicare trust funds issue reports every single year on the financial status of both programs. We know that that trust fund, which has roughly $1.4 trillion in it, is getting depleted slowlyover time because there's more money going out to current retirees than what's coming in from current payroll taxes. And so you have to pay these benefits out. So that $1.4 trillion that's sitting in that trust fund is slowly depleting over time. Well, it's not so slow. Basically, we are in a deficit and that trust fund is due to run out in around 2033. Last year, it was 2032, but the trusteeslooked at it again for this year and with the economy being pretty good and everything else going on, that the trust fund has actually gained a year worth of solvency. So what does it mean when that trust fund runs out? It does not mean that Social Security ORG goes away.
Speaker 41460.3s - 1464.48s
It's a discounted, though. What it means, though, ever is everybody's going to take a haircut. Yeah.
Speaker 31464.68s - 1500.02s
Right. And so what I want to say about that and the part that's kind of the important thing before we go to break is we need to make sure that social security, you've heard me talk about the three-legged stool before, right? Troy, when we're talking about retirement, we think about things in the terms of a three-legged stool. You have your personal savings. you have your social security, and then maybe an employer-sponsored plan, a 401k, simple, whatever the case may be. If the social security piece of that stool starts getting really wobbly, it means you got to make up for it somewhere else, right?
Speaker 41500.02s - 1506.54s
You've got to be more stringent on your own personal savings to get your own financial house in order.
Speaker 31506.98s - 1552.98s
You need to use that employer-sponsored plan, the 401K, 403B, whatever the case may be that is offered. If you don't have one, start your own. Start your own IRA, Roth IRA, whatever it is. You've got to kind of take care of number one. And that's you. So you've got to make sure you do that.So I want to kind of show that, hey, the Social Security Trust Fund is going to run out, estimated 2033. Current retirees are going to take a haircut. Is Social Security ORG going away? No. No. Is it going to be changed from what we know of it right now? Most likely. But it's going to take the political will from Congress and the Senate ORG to basically go through and actually fix the problem. Not kick the can down the road. Let's fix the problem.
Speaker 41553.18s - 1553.92s
By raising taxes?
Speaker 31555.22s - 1628.56s
Not necessarily raising taxes, but that's a good point is that maybe we remove the or increase the amount that goes into Social Security ORG from payroll taxes. Also maybe closing out the gap because if you make more than $140,000 or $150,000 a year, you pay no more into Social Security ORG at that point. Doesn't seem quite fair, does it? No. Right. So by closing that gap, you may be able to extend it out a bit further, but it's not necessarily going to fix the wholeproblem. It's going to take a pretty gargantuan effort from Congress ORG to fix this in the way it needs to be fixed. But again, if you have worries about Social Security ORG, there's ways to fix it in your own life and take care of, and take care of your own self. And that is to be in a better financial position for you personally, right? So don't let the government be the one that tells you that you're not going to be able to retire. Do it on your own, right? You've got to take the bull by the horns sometimes. When we come back, I want to talk a little bit, since we are on ESPN ORG, I want to talk about Caitlin Clark PERSON and see what the economic impact of a Caitlin Clark professional career might be to the city that she comes to. Wow. Right? Let's talk about that when we come back.
Speaker 21628.68s - 1643.88s
Are you nearing retirement and currently working with a financial advisor? Are you not sure if you're invested appropriately? Call her offices at 661-847-1,000 to sit down with the Money Wise Financial Advisor for a no-obligation assessment of your investments.
Speaker 51643.88s - 1665.5s

Speaker 31666.62s - 1667.2s
What was that movie?
Speaker 21667.28s - 1668.38s
I like Little Michael WORK_OF_ART.
Speaker 31671.08s - 1672.34s
Wasn't that like the
Speaker 21672.34s - 1674.38s
the night?
Speaker 31674.48s - 1676.06s
It was an Adam Sandler PERSON movie.
Speaker 21676.84s - 1677.46s
Speaker 31677.62s - 1678.18s
That's the one.
Speaker 41678.32s - 1678.56s
Yes.
Speaker 31679.28s - 1680.8s
I like Little Michael.
Speaker 41684.88s - 1685s
Joe Jackson. I was referring. I could already hear the belt. little Michael.
Speaker 31685.96s - 1688.18s
Speaker 41690s - 1691.8s
I could already hear the belt getting flipped off of the out of the belt
Speaker 31691.8s - 1692.54s
right now.
Speaker 21692.62s - 1693s
Speaker 31693.78s - 1695s
You hit that too flat.
Speaker 21695.56s - 1695.58s
Speaker 51695.58s - 1698.06s
Caitlin Clark going to Indiana GPE, but all right.
Speaker 31701.62s - 1702.06s
Oh,
Speaker 51702.38s - 1704.32s
we're having a blast today, aren't we?
Speaker 31705.44s - 1707.86s
So, yeah, we're going to get to Caitlin Clark in just a second.
Speaker 51708.02s - 1710.94s
But Richard Branson from Virgin Galactic ORG.
Speaker 31713.34s - 1714.84s
This comes from a billionaire, right?
Speaker 51714.86s - 1715.84s
Really easy to say this.
Speaker 31715.92s - 1718.98s
But Richard Branson PERSON says that money isn't a good way to measure success.
Speaker 51720.3s - 1721.18s
It is or is?
Speaker 31721.38s - 1722.04s
It is not.
Speaker 41722.16s - 1722.56s
It is not.
Speaker 31722.68s - 1722.86s
Okay.
Speaker 41723.1s - 1725.5s
Money is not a good way to measure success.
Speaker 31725.76s - 1729.16s
That's really easy to say when you have umpteen billion dollars in the bank.
Speaker 41729.26s - 1729.94s
You read my mind.
Speaker 31730.84s - 1734.74s
So the only thing he said, there's one word that matters, reputation.
Speaker 21735.56s - 1736.98s
Oh, I thought it was going to be love.
Speaker 31737.18s - 1740.72s
No. Love is all you need, but it don't pay the bills.
Speaker 21742.48s - 1746.78s
Coming from a rich guy saying that I just, I can't take him serious.
Speaker 31746.92s - 1767.48s
I can't, right? It's like, oh, yeah, you have how many billions of dollars sitting in the bank or in all of your, you know, businesses that you've run? And I'm not saying he's a bad business, man. But to say that money isn't a good measure of success, well, when you have all of it, yeah. But I do see where have all of it, yeah.
Speaker 41769.68s - 1771.6s
But I do see where he's coming from, you know. I think building the company is a great country.
Speaker 31771.6s - 1782.02s
Yeah, building a company in the reputation that you have, just because you have a billion dollars doesn't make you a good person, right? So I guess I can kind of get that.
Speaker 41782.22s - 1783.68s
Do you agree or no? You disagree.
Speaker 31783.96s - 1789.9s
I kind of both ways. I can see it both ways. But, you know, just because you have a billion dollars in the bank doesn't make you a good person.
Speaker 41790.7s - 1795.06s
I think anybody that's building businesses, you know, workers are able to work.
Speaker 31795.22s - 1797.86s
Yeah, you're putting food on the table for a lot of people.
Speaker 41797.94s - 1798.98s
Yeah. So I think that's, you know.
Speaker 31799.36s - 1817.42s
Paying a lot of taxes through that to keep our society running. So yeah, it's kind of hard for me to swallow a message like that. But, you know, hey, good for you, Richard Branson PERSON, being ultra rich and not having to care at all about whether or not you're measured for success
Speaker 51817.42s - 1826.86s
through your money. Getting back to Caitlin Clark PERSON, speaking of somebody who doesn't make a lot of money. What is her salary this year? $80,000?
Speaker 41827.36s - 1828.64s
Yeah, but she got endorsements too.
Speaker 31828.94s - 1829.98s
Yep, she's got the NIL.
Speaker 41830.24s - 1830.48s
Yeah.
Speaker 31831.3s - 1831.54s
Right?
Speaker 41832.48s - 1835.26s
And I had a shoe deal, a phone deal.
Speaker 21836.66s - 1838.5s
An insurance deal with State Farm ORG.
Speaker 31838.62s - 1842.46s
It's just crazy that her sponsorships make more money than her salary.
Speaker 21842.92s - 1846.32s
Which, I mean, the economics of the WNBA ORG, right?
Speaker 31846.4s - 1846.74s
I get it.
Speaker 21847.6s - 1849.66s
I mean, I wish they could start like a fun, like, you know,
Speaker 31849.68s - 1851.48s
have all these billionaires like Richard Branson PERSON,
Speaker 21851.6s - 1854.18s
like actually start like a fun, like a,
Speaker 31854.82s - 1858.56s
almost kind of like a pension fund for like the girls to make a little bit more money.
Speaker 21858.76s - 1860.28s
The funny thing about it,
Speaker 31860.36s - 1864.38s
and so I was watching CNBC ORG right after the national championship game,
Speaker 21864.48s - 1870.2s
and what was the coach's name of the team team that they'd lay lost to South Carolina's GPE coach what was her
Speaker 31870.2s - 1874.34s
name gosh I can't remember it now but she had South Carolina GPE yeah South Carolina's a
Speaker 21874.34s - 1881.6s
coach she's a she's a dude a legend I can't think of her name yeah you gets
Speaker 31881.6s - 1885.2s
Google so she was on CNBC ORG.
Speaker 41885.2s - 1885.74s
Speaker 21885.9s - 1886.56s
Speaker 41886.56s - 1887.86s
Don Staley PERSON, thank you.
Speaker 31888.44s - 1889.26s
Which I love her.
Speaker 41890.2s - 1892.46s
But I was watching CNBC at the opening bell one day.
Speaker 31893.12s - 1895.18s
And it was right after the national championship.
Speaker 41895.32s - 1900.84s
And Don Staley, the South Carolina team's there to ring the bell at the New York Stock Exchange ORG, which was kind of cool.
Speaker 31901.86s - 1905.06s
And the question came up about Caitlin PERSON, obviously, and everything else.
Speaker 41905.06s - 1915.18s
And, you know, Don Staley PERSON had a very good response, which was she has made women's basketball an
Speaker 31915.18s - 1921.14s
investable asset. Yeah. If you are a business owner and you're trying to advertise, look at our
Speaker 41921.14s - 1925.28s
ratings. Look at what the ratings were for the national championship.
Speaker 31928.96s - 1929.64s
Look at the number of people that were in the seats watching those games.
Speaker 41932.68s - 1934.68s
More people in the seats for the women's game than there were for the men's. I got to say, right?
Speaker 31934.8s - 1935s
Yeah.
Speaker 41935.34s - 1941.44s
Yet the men's final four, they make all this money and all the advertisements are there for the men's final four.
Speaker 31941.74s - 1945.52s
Well, the women's final four is kind of trumping you now at this point. Yeah.
Speaker 41945.72s - 1949.6s
If you're an advertising exec, you want to go where the eyeballs are, right?
Speaker 31950.42s - 1975.92s
Well, Don Staley PERSON had a great idea, which was, hey, we're an investable asset now. You can advertise with us and you can make some money. And I don't disagree at all. And the proof's in the pudding. Because Caitlin Clark PERSON now is playing for Indiana GPE fever, right? Her first WNB, it's next week, right? Is the opening day? Yeah, it's preseason right now. She scored, what, 21 points yesterday?
Speaker 41976.16s - 1978.88s
I mean, she's doing good. She made it look easy, too.
Speaker 31979.6s - 1981.84s
Some of her drop-back threes are just sick.
Speaker 41981.96s - 1982.88s
Yeah. Right?
Speaker 31984.52s - 2011.1s
I look at that and I say, okay, well, all of the games that they're playing in Las Vegas or L.A. or Boston GPE or wherever they're going. Many of these venues where the Indiana GPE fever are a visiting team, they've already sold out. And the teams are now having to find different venues to increase the capacity. Not having to.
Speaker 22011.46s - 2012.14s
Not having to.
Speaker 32012.26s - 2015.1s
But choosing to because there's money to be at.
Speaker 22015.1s - 2017.46s
Well, they did that before even the draft started.
Speaker 32017.74s - 2021.86s
Indiana GPE moved their opening game to a bigger arena.
Speaker 22022.24s - 2025.1s
So instead of seating 5,000 people you're seating 20,000
Speaker 32025.1s - 2029.76s
people and guess what they're probably going to get close to yeah I saw something that
Speaker 22029.76s - 2036.44s
tops the the card manufacturer they made a Caitlin Clark PERSON series of cards
Speaker 32036.44s - 2041s
nice sold out in seven minutes figured man I should have bought one me too right
Speaker 22041s - 2049.74s
she heard her jersey from basically from extra small to triple quadruple extra large,
Speaker 32050.24s - 2052.44s
everything sold out 20 minutes.
Speaker 42053.48s - 2056.38s
So what is her economic impact to some of these cities?
Speaker 22056.38s - 2060.12s
She doesn't play in Los Angeles, but maybe three times a year.
Speaker 42060.44s - 2060.56s
Yeah.
Speaker 32061.82s - 2062.94s
Indiana GPE got a good one.
Speaker 42063.24s - 2064.5s
Indiana GPE got a good one.
Speaker 32064.78s - 2076.7s
And I'm telling you right now, you know, what, you know, I'm not going to, I'm not going to, you know, equate her with Michael Jordan PERSON. That's just not what I'm going to do. Right, Steve Zay? She's not Michael Jordan.
Speaker 42076.88s - 2085.22s
No. She's her own. She's her own person, though. Hear me out on this, though. Michael Jordan PERSON Jordan prior to Michael Jordan coming in
Speaker 32085.22s - 2087.86s
what were the television rights
Speaker 42087.86s - 2090.16s
for the NBA ORG? What were the ratings
Speaker 22090.16s - 2091.9s
for the NBA ORG? Yeah you had the Showtime
Speaker 32091.9s - 2094.34s
Lakers and the Boston Celtics ORG and the whole thing
Speaker 22094.34s - 2096.38s
but they were on like
Speaker 32096.38s - 2099.88s
not the right channels but it was not
Speaker 22099.88s - 2102.18s
well watched. They were on the way out of not being on TV
Speaker 32102.18s - 2111.58s
bingo they were on the way of not being on TV. You get a guy like Michael Jordan PERSON comes in there. All of a sudden, this flashy player and everybody wants to be like Mike.
Speaker 22112.48s - 2117.84s
I want to be like Mike. Not little Mike. I remember that song. Yeah. Not little Mike. Big Mike.
Speaker 32119.4s - 2127.3s
I just hope maybe she'll, you know, show the game where even the number two pick, I loved her too.
Speaker 22127.44s - 2134.98s
Yeah. But I just hope, you know, this will introduce a lot more, you know, females to start playing basketball.
Speaker 32135.38s - 2137.2s
Any sport. Any sport.
Speaker 42137.44s - 2139.82s
Yeah. Look what Ice Cube offered her to come to the big three.
Speaker 32139.96s - 2141.96s
Yeah. It was like five million a year or whatever.
Speaker 42142.1s - 2156.06s
Yeah. But I think she's got a good smart head on our shoulders where she's saying, hey, maybe my talent and everything in going to the WNBA ORG, the visibility transcends my talent
Speaker 32156.06s - 2162.64s
and what the money means. She'll get the money. She'll get the money from the endorsements. Hopefully she doesn't hire Ipe PERSON to be her manager.
Speaker 42164.44s - 2165.5s
I knew that I was coming.
Speaker 22166.1s - 2170.2s
But I saw that she signed on for the Olympics EVENT as well.
Speaker 42170.44s - 2170.6s
Yeah.
Speaker 32170.94s - 2174.44s
I mean, she's growing the sport, definitely.
Speaker 22174.44s - 2187.04s
So in the last three years of her career at Iowa, when she was playing at Iowa, the last three years of her career, what is the economic impact of her just in Iowa
Speaker 32187.04s - 2194.44s
city? Huge. In the last three years, they've accounted for her economic impact directly to that
Speaker 22194.44s - 2202.74s
city of almost $83 million in extra spending in Iowa City GPE that wasn't there prior to her being there.
Speaker 32203.4s - 2205.64s
And how much of that $83 million is she getting in her pockets?
Speaker 22206.72s - 2209.58s
Zip other than the endorsement deals, right?
Speaker 32209.58s - 2217.82s
That's, I mean, that's, that $83 million is, you know, the pokey shop that's selling the, you know, the food or whatever.
Speaker 42217.96s - 2219.54s
And they, like, you know, have a special or whatever.
Speaker 32219.62s - 2249.98s
And it's like, you know, when the games are going and all the businesses around that are capturing that revenue. So it's an increased economic impact of roughly $83 million over the past three years. And that's just one city. And that was when she was still in college and wasn't really that well known until the final year of her career, right? The junior year, yeah, she was great. Senior year knock the socks off, right? So we're talking three years and it was only better each year. Going forward, though, now that she's in the pros, she's in the WNBA ORG.
Speaker 42250.18s - 2251.66s
She's going to average 21 points a game.
Speaker 32251.74s - 2254.86s
I think she's going to average 20 to 30 points a game.
Speaker 42256.22s - 2260.62s
And probably she'll average a double double, I think, with assists and everything.
Speaker 32260.78s - 2261.86s
She'll average the double double.
Speaker 42262.06s - 2263.5s
Angel Reese had a good game too yesterday.
Speaker 32263.5s - 2263.7s
Yeah.
Speaker 42264.06s - 2264.46s
They both.
Speaker 32264.72s - 2267.8s
I mean, I don't know how many points you scored, but she did pretty well.
Speaker 42268.02s - 2273.14s
But I just find it amazing that you're going to wind up having somebody come in, and they're not even,
Speaker 32273.6s - 2278.34s
they're not even on a starting roster yet, and you're already moving venues to sell seats.
Speaker 42278.84s - 2282.46s
That's because you can make that extra money. That's crazy. I mean.
Speaker 32282.6s - 2284.54s
Well, she's making $83,000 a year.
Speaker 42284.78s - 2286.7s
Like $79,000 or whatever.
Speaker 32287.28s - 2291.62s
And maybe they might give her some shoes. That's crazy, man.
Speaker 42291.84s - 2292.82s
It is really crazy.
Speaker 32292.82s - 2297.72s
I mean, for the women's sports period, I just think that, like, you know, some of these big
Speaker 42297.72s - 2302.16s
heads can come together, man, and, you know, they could, they could, you know, subsidize a sport.
Speaker 32302.32s - 2302.64s
Oh, yeah.
Speaker 42302.96s - 2307.54s
And, you know, even though, you know, it's not an attractive sport, obviously, because the
Speaker 32307.54s - 2316.72s
cash flow to the players, if there was some sort of fund just to incentivize just the woman on the court just to make it, you know, it don't have to be because of a tendency.
Speaker 02316.86s - 2319.78s
It could be just because, hey, we just want to endorse this sport.
Speaker 52320.22s - 2320.34s
Yeah.
Speaker 02320.4s - 2323.66s
Let's create this fund of billions of dollars and spicketed it out to all the players.
Speaker 32323.8s - 2327.1s
That's right. It has an appreciation, but, yay. It is what it is, man.
Speaker 42328.02s - 2332.52s
So when we come back, we're going to hit Gen Z pretty hard.
Speaker 32333.42s - 2342.88s
Yeah, we're going to do that. We're going to go after Gen Z. So if you don't like Gen Z, just stay tuned. Your son is a Gen Z. All of them are. Stay tuned.
Speaker 22343.24s - 2372.4s

Speaker 32373.28s - 2374.68s
Welcome back.
Speaker 42378.8s - 2378.86s
You know, when I went to this concert, my wife looked at me, she's like, aren't all the same?
Speaker 32380.02s - 2380.82s
Aren't all the songs the same?
Speaker 52382.22s - 2382.86s
I'm like, come on.
Speaker 32383.94s - 2384.14s
That was a great show.
Speaker 52384.84s - 2385.5s
It was a great show. Jane's Addiction ORG was a great show. It was a great show.
Speaker 32386.82s - 2388.16s
Jane's Addiction ORG was a great show.
Speaker 52389.54s - 2390.04s
It's just not my wife's thing.
Speaker 32390.6s - 2391.28s
What's the name?
Speaker 42391.96s - 2392.18s
Speaker 32393.02s - 2394.62s
Jane's Addiction ORG. I was going to guess.
Speaker 42394.78s - 2398.54s
You don't know what my guess what's going to be? What was that? Slipknot ORG. No, of course.
Speaker 32398.54s - 2398.78s
No, no.
Speaker 42400.08s - 2404.16s
One of these times, it might actually be Slipknot ORG.
Speaker 32406s - 2407.02s
I'm going to remember that. You heard they got their new drummer, right? actually be Slipknot ORG. I'm going to remember that.
Speaker 42407.1s - 2408.62s
You heard they got their new drummer, right?
Speaker 32408.74s - 2411.26s
Slipknot ORG got their, and he's fantastic.
Speaker 42411.54s - 2412.36s
Of course he is.
Speaker 22412.72s - 2414.6s
That is another great band to see live.
Speaker 32414.72s - 2414.98s
Oh, yeah.
Speaker 22415.08s - 2416.22s
What about Rage Against a Machine ORG?
Speaker 32416.32s - 2417.52s
Would that have been closer to this?
Speaker 22418.86s - 2420s
About the same time.
Speaker 42420.14s - 2421.62s
Yeah, about the same time frame, yeah.
Speaker 32422.18s - 2424.2s
But I got a message came in.
Speaker 42429.54s - 2430.62s
In a money sense, I believe the WNBA made close to $200 million in revenue in 23.
Speaker 52432.52s - 2432.58s
I wonder how much more they can make this year.
Speaker 22435.26s - 2435.36s
Do you think they'll be able to double that in the first year with Caitlin Clark PERSON?
Speaker 52436s - 2436.36s
What do you think, Troy? I think so.
Speaker 32436.52s - 2437.28s
You think they'll double it?
Speaker 52437.4s - 2438.2s
Because one of the sports.
Speaker 42438.44s - 2439.4s
It's just been booming.
Speaker 52439.54s - 2440.42s
The basketball has been booming.
Speaker 42440.72s - 2441.98s
Steve Zee PERSON, you think so?
Speaker 22442.32s - 2442.68s
Oh, yeah.
Speaker 52442.76s - 2442.96s
Double?
Speaker 32444s - 2444.4s
Probably.
Speaker 42444.8s - 2446.24s
I think I don't know about double.
Speaker 32446.24s - 2450.4s
If she's already selling out jerseys and season tickets, I mean, Indiana GPE might make
Speaker 22450.4s - 2451.08s
200 million.
Speaker 32451.12s - 2451.24s
Well,
Speaker 22451.28s - 2455.56s
I'm wondering because also like when you see that 200 million, a lot of that has to do
Speaker 32455.56s - 2459.66s
with television contracts with a lot of times those are written four or five years in advance.
Speaker 22460.58s - 2460.68s
Yeah.
Speaker 42460.68s - 2460.72s
Yeah.
Speaker 32460.72s - 2461.56s
That's probably true.
Speaker 22461.8s - 2463.46s
I mean, over time, yes, it will double.
Speaker 32463.56s - 2464.64s
I know that for a fact.
Speaker 22464.74s - 2469.4s
But in the first year, I don't know. Just going off how NCAA ORG ratings were. Oh, yeah.
Speaker 32469.58s - 2479.9s
I think so. I think the WNBA playoffs this season will be on, you know, a primetime channel. And the advertising dollars are going to come flowing in, and the girls are going to get none of it.
Speaker 22482.28s - 2489.12s
I wonder how much, you know, ticket prices are just, like, say say when Indiana GPE comes to L.A. I was thinking about that.
Speaker 32489.16s - 2501.9s
I was wondering about going online and getting a couple of tickets to go down to staple, what used to be staples, crypto.com arena, soon to be named FTX Arena FAC, I think, right? Crypto.
Speaker 42502.44s - 2505.66s
I hope not. It's going to be a curse. We already curse.
Speaker 32505.74s - 2507s
We can't even win a playoff game.
Speaker 52507.38s - 2509.12s
At least you made the playoffs.
Speaker 32509.3s - 2511.06s
The clippers are leaving. The last time the angels made the playoffs.
Speaker 22511.06s - 2512.14s
The clippers are leaving.
Speaker 42512.28s - 2514.3s
They like, you know, get away from this curse.
Speaker 22514.46s - 2517.52s
You know, it's bad when they put up a Kobe statue with misspelled words.
Speaker 32518.72s - 2519.5s
Oh, my God.
Speaker 22522.5s - 2523.54s
Oh, man.
Speaker 42523.82s - 2525s
It's a crying shame.
Speaker 32525.1s - 2526.78s
I know I'm just like beat this dead horse,
Speaker 22526.94s - 2530.8s
but it should bother everybody that these women are just getting paid $86,000.
Speaker 42531.1s - 2531.82s
They got to travel.
Speaker 22532.24s - 2533s
They got to travel.
Speaker 32533s - 2538.64s
They got to like be going on. A lot of them have to have secondary jobs after the season to be able to make things work.
Speaker 42538.82s - 2539.24s
Stupid.
Speaker 32539.44s - 2573.36s
That's not good. So Gen Z, based on inflation and basically everything being more expensive after a post-pandemic world, well, unfortunately, Gen Z is in a position where they're relying on debt a lot more than the previous generation did. Millennials at this age, when they were in their early 20s were not turning to credit cards or personal loans to cover their daily expenses.
Speaker 42574s - 2575.42s
Especially because the I word.
Speaker 32576.9s - 2617.64s
Inflation has been absolutely rampant. So if we look at stats and we're just going to real quickly go over this, in 2013, when millennials were getting into that 21, 22 age frame, credit card debt for them was around $2,200. Auto debt, 19,000. An unsecured, you know, personal loan of about 5,000. And mortgage, if they were able to afford a mortgage, of about 150,000. Here we are 10 years later,Gen Z, same age, 20 to 22, their credit card debt $2,800, a 26% increase, auto debt of $22,000, a 14%

wage um inflation disparity yeah and so yeah the the wages haven't kept up even if we talk about about the unemployment numbers and, you know, minimum wage and all those types of things, it's not keeping up with the pace of what's going on in real life.
