Speaker 00s - 24.64s

You're listening to the good old boys fantasy football podcast. Now here's your host, Kevin, Derek, and Alex PERSON.

Speaker 425.2s - 38.08s

All righty. Welcome and ladies and gentlemen to another episode of the good old boys fantasy football podcast. I am Derek and joined as always by your co-host Kevin and Alex PERSON, gentlemen. How we do it? Good, man.

Speaker 138.2s - 79.42s

Doing good. And enjoying the NBA and NHL ORG playoffs. Did not enjoy the Nuggets game last night. They were, they got the brakes beat off of them. I mean, there's no way around it, but they completely lost their composure and unfortunately acted in unfavorable ways, right?A lot of, a lot of attitudes, a lot of hurt feelings for as much as Denver GPE, the city, the fan base spent the entire Lakers ORG series making fun of LeBron PERSON and how he whined and cried and carried on over just about everything in that series. Jamal Murray definitely took the cake last night. So, you know, we need better, right?

Speaker 279.58s - 83.82s

You're one of the leaders. It was very much a who throws a shoe?

Speaker 186.44s - 92.16s

He has since been fined, not suspended, but $100,000 fine, which equates to peanuts,

Speaker 392.16s - 93.98s

as we were talking about pre-show, right?

Speaker 194.08s - 111.02s

It basically equates to a parking ticket. So there we are, and then, you know, got the Aves ORG game on and watching them slowly make a comeback, you know, gave up three in the first, and here they are, you know, got the Aves game on and watching them slowly make a comeback. You know, gave up three in the first. And here they are, you know, three, two. Rangers ORG just won in double O.T.

Speaker 2111.22s - 112.78s

So I heard.

Speaker 1113.58s - 130.56s

Keeping eyes or interest in that game. So, you know, that is kind of where I've been, right? It's just kind of which screen am I looking at and what am I doing and who's doing what? But enjoying that before I take off tomorrow morning on a little work trip here for the rest of the week.

Speaker 2131.66s - 222.94s

Fantastic. I got to tell you, I watched, it was a good sports weekend for me. I was able to catch game seven of Boston, Toronto GPE. I don't know if you guys were paying attention to that. That game went to overtime, game seven and overtime. Like, I have no rooting interest. I don't like either team. If I had my way, either team could lose and I would be happy. Both teams could lose and I would be happy.I don't like Boston GPE teams. I think it's funny when Toronto is bad at hockey because they, it's the epicenter of hockey in Canada GPE. It's their New York GPE, right? Like, it's their biggest market. And when they're bad at hockey, it's the epicenter of hockey in Canada. It's their New York, right? Like, it's their biggest market. And when they're bad at hockey, it's funny to me. So, like, Boston, Toronto GPE, I'm watching that game. I was, like, jittery watching it because I just love, I don't think there is anything better than like the high stakes of a gameseven overtime playoff game. And not so much in like say like basketball, right? Because basketball needs the time, right? Like you know when that game is going to end. There isn't like a first team to score wins like there is in hockey. And that like just the anticipation of that, the not knowing when it's is in hockey. And that might be just the, the anticipation of that, the not knowing when it's going to end. Like that gets my heart rate up.And I was having so much fun watching that. And unfortunately, that series or that game, it ended rather quickly in overtime. But it was a day. That was a crazy bounce, man.

Speaker 1222.96s - 232.34s

It was a crazy. I saw something actually. That's a play they've done before. That's a set play. That's a set play that they've done a couple different times. And it's worked before.

Speaker 2233.44s - 237.88s

So like crazy balance, but like they practice that, which is.

Speaker 1238.36s - 240.98s

I instantly thought of playing indoor soccer as a kid.

Speaker 2240.98s - 242.3s

Yes. Yep. Yeah.

Speaker 1242.48s - 243.88s

You just like, send it down there.

Speaker 2243.88s - 248.04s

Sweet spot on the boards. So that way it pops right back out far enough away to where the

Speaker 1248.04s - 251.98s

goalie can't come get it. And you let you let your striker hunt.

Speaker 2251.98s - 264.98s

Right. Yeah. So, so watching that was great. F1 race this weekend. Okay. You guys didn't care about the F1 ORG race. Kentucky Derby EVENT was insane. That finish was insane.

Speaker 0265.72s - 278.18s

The NASCAR race finish was closer than the Kentucky Derby EVENT race finish, which was closer than we ever thought a finish could be. I don't know if you guys saw any of that, but that was, it was an insane week for, or insane weekend for racing.

Speaker 2278.86s - 318.82s

And if you are an F1 fan, it was, it was a good race because Max Verstappen PERSON didn't win. And that's fun. That's fun when Max doesn't win. But yeah, it's a good weekend. And we are reaching, you know, kind of that area where it's starting to get kind of the doldrums of summer, if you will. If your team isn't in the playoffs in any sport, you're kind of checked out. If your baseball team sucks, like our hometown team does, that you're definitely checked out. You're just waitingfor mini camp or something to happen in the NFL. The thing that kills me is the Rockies ORG suck,

Speaker 1318.98s - 322.56s

and they still draw a crowd so the ownership doesn't have to do anything to change it. Never going to get

Speaker 2322.56s - 329.28s

better. Yeah. The Oakland A's are getting less than 6,000 people per game and they're moving they're not getting a

Speaker 1329.28s - 343.12s

crowd i was reading a i was reading an article about it there are 200 over 233 teams across nine different

Speaker 3343.12s - 350.72s

sports that have a larger attendance than the Oakland

Speaker 1350.72s - 352.22s

Athletics.

Speaker 2352.38s - 353.08s

That's crazy.

Speaker 1353.08s - 354.52s

Two of them are USFL ORG teams.

Speaker 3354.88s - 357.58s

There are three division three football teams.

Speaker 1358.68s - 361.16s

There are two WNBA ORG teams.

Speaker 3363.74s - 367.76s

And that's going to be fun this year I don't know different minor league hockey teams

Speaker 2367.76s - 377.22s

I mean shoot the the junior team in Fargo GPE when it's sold out it draws about six grand

Speaker 3377.22s - 384.48s

and 6,000 people so right like I was just I was reading and it didn't list one by one but I

Speaker 1384.48s - 391s

mean just the list of random teams that are drawing bigger crowds than the Oakland ORG athletics.

Speaker 2391.24s - 392.54s

I was like, holy smokes.

Speaker 1392.54s - 394.58s

And they are, they are moving.

Speaker 2395.7s - 402.86s

They're, they're minor league affiliate in Vegas, actually, is one of those teams that has a larger draw.

Speaker 1405.34s - 406.4s

That's good stuff. It's still the 51s there in Vegas actually is one of those teams that has a larger draw. That's good stuff.

Speaker 2406.94s - 409.52s

It's still the 51s there in Vegas GPE?

Speaker 3412.24s - 412.64s

No.

Speaker 2412.64s - 412.72s

No.

Speaker 3412.72s - 414.18s

Oh, they're not anymore.

Speaker 2414.5s - 417.14s

This wasn't, though, this was not the 51s ORG.

Speaker 1417.14s - 418.2s

This was something else.

Speaker 2419.74s - 421s

That was a good team name.

Speaker 1422.24s - 422.92s

I thought so, yeah.

Speaker 2424.64s - 425.66s

So, but yes. Anyways, this is a football podcast?. I thought so, yeah. So, but yes.

Speaker 1426.02s - 427.5s

Anyways, this is a football podcast.

Speaker 2427.5s - 428.58s

We should probably talk about that.

Speaker 1430.76s - 432.9s

As I was doing, it's ambiguous, right?

Speaker 2432.98s - 434.18s

Like, yeah, you know, it's paralyzed.

Speaker 1435.08s - 438.7s

So, like, we started finishing our basement this week.

Speaker 2439.24s - 440.16s

That's how I'm doing.

Speaker 1440.26s - 445.14s

And all the, you know, final decision making and everything else that goes along with that.

Speaker 2445.5s - 446.58s

Hey, I do got to tell you.

Speaker 3446.68s - 450.48s

And if you're a Colorado ORG sports fan and you're listening to this and you haven't seen it yet,

Speaker 2450.64s - 454.98s

on ESPN, the 30 for 30, I sat down and watched it the other day.

Speaker 1455.6s - 457.72s

It's a, it's a documentary, brief documentary.

Speaker 2457.92s - 459.42s

If you got 45 minutes, watch it.

Speaker 1459.86s - 461.16s

It's called Saving Sackick WORK_OF_ART.

Speaker 2461.16s - 474.22s

And it's how the abs were able to hang on to Joe Sackick when he got an offer from the New York Rangers ORG for a lot of money. It's a very, very fascinating.

Speaker 3474.22s - 491.52s

How different that trajectories of those two teams could have been, had the president of the Aves ORG ownership group not been a ambitious filmmaker.

Speaker 2491.52s - 507.68s

That's the best way that I can tell you. It involves Harrison Ford, Air Force One, and Joe Sackett PERSON. And that's how Joe Sackett brought another cup to the Mile High City GPE. It is well worth your time. If you got 45 minutes. It is well worth your time. If you got 45 minutes, it's well worth your time.

Speaker 1508.44s - 509.32s

I'll check that out.

Speaker 2509.62s - 510.52s

It's good.

Speaker 1510.66s - 518.74s

It's on ESPN ORG. It's a 30 for 30. It's fantastic. We'll have to take a peek at it, for sure.

Speaker 4519.78s - 529.66s

Well, guys, any news or notes on the NFL ORG side of things that we want to hit up before we start diving into the AFC LOC side of the winners and losers of the draft?

Speaker 2530.08s - 532.92s

So you guys watch the roast. Do you see anything from the roast?

Speaker 1533.12s - 535.4s

I've watched bits and pieces.

Speaker 2535.66s - 542.46s

Julian Edelman PERSON is stinking hilarious, man. And he spent more time getting on build than he did Tom PERSON.

Speaker 1543.06s - 543.26s

Yeah.

Speaker 2543.94s - 551.68s

I've only seen bits and pieces too, but there were a few that as Rosco PERSON, you wonder why anybody

Speaker 1551.68s - 556.1s

signs up for that when those are the jokes that are coming out.

Speaker 2556.72s - 562.6s

But yeah, I don't know that I'm ever going to seek out the whole thing, but the bits and

Speaker 1562.6s - 567.44s

pieces that I saw were pretty good. Did you see the Hernandez PERSON one?

Speaker 2567.86s - 569.06s

I heard a couple.

Speaker 1569.06s - 569.76s

I heard a couple.

Speaker 2570.12s - 598.04s

Yeah. Yeah. I think the one that was really good was Drew Bledso laying into Tom PERSON. And he said his wife wrote that joke. And he said, you know, I can't remember. He said, you know, there's two things that I'llhave that you will never will, Tom. And that's being like a first round draft pick and a 28th wedding anniversary. That was, that was yesterday. It's like, oh. Hey, all right, Drew Bledso PERSON. This guy was

Speaker 3598.04s - 608.96s

your teammate. All right. Oh, that's good. That's good stuff. Exactly, right? good. I mean, that's good stuff. Exactly, right?

Speaker 2609.06s - 614.72s

Like, you just, the more you think about it, let it percolate, like, oh, man, that's so good.

Speaker 3615.36s - 617.22s

Dude, yeah, some of those are brutal, right?

Speaker 1617.26s - 618.18s

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2619.14s - 622.8s

But yes, I have seen, I haven't seen the whole thing, but I've seen.

Speaker 1622.8s - 628.6s

But that was about the biggest NFL news that happened over the last week or so.

Speaker 2628.7s - 630.5s

It was that roast. Yes.

Speaker 1632.12s - 636.02s

Currently, Rishi Rice PERSON has another round of legal troubles heading his way.

Speaker 2636.56s - 639.86s

I don't see anyway how that dude's playing next year.

Speaker 1639.86s - 644.36s

Is it Dallas police that are looking at in connection with an assault at a nightclub?

Speaker 2644.94s - 645.54s

Allegedly. Allegedly.

Speaker 1646.46s - 653.06s

Allegedly. But what I don't know is if it was, if this is a separate? It's separate.

Speaker 2653.3s - 659.04s

Or a continue or a like before and then there was the speeding thing.

Speaker 1659.62s - 662.26s

As I understand it, it was separate.

Speaker 2662.62s - 663.84s

It's a separate thing.

Speaker 1663.92s - 664.24s

Fair enough.

Speaker 2664.24s - 666.78s

I haven't read into it enough. I just saw the highlight pop through. I'm like, man, I'm like, all was separate. It's a separate thing. Fair enough. I haven't read into it enough. I just saw the highlight pop through it.

Speaker 1666.78s - 671.82s

I'm like, man, I'm like, all these are she rice shares that I have in Dynasty WORK_OF_ART.

Speaker 2671.82s - 675s

That I was like, okay. It's like, oh, son of a gun.

Speaker 1676.48s - 684.28s

It is becoming like increasingly more evident that he probably is not going to be on.

Speaker 2685.24s - 686.8s

Yeah, well, it's a game as far.

Speaker 1687.3s - 687.5s

Right.

Speaker 2687.9s - 689.44s

I think he'll be on a roster, right?

Speaker 1689.56s - 709.76s

Talent wins out and he had a good rookie campaign. But, I mean, we're looking at eight games minimum. There is no doubt in my mind that half the season is gonzo, which typically means by week 12, he's going to have a hamstring injury because he's not going to take care of himself the right way. So for what it's worth, I will.

Speaker 2709.86s - 760.6s

I pulled up the story here from the Dallas morning as well from ESPN on the Dallas morning news. The assault happened earlier this week. It happened early Monday morning. No charges were filed. But again, but again it's it's anotheryou know thing right and if it's another ding to his record it's another thing that it does not protect the shield you know as Roger Goodell PERSON would like to say you protect the shield and this is not a good look for the shieldso you're right like even if no charges get filed and this is not a good look for the shield. So you're right. Like even if no charges get filed in this one or even if charges do get filed, like he has violated, right? The player code of conduct policy that they all agree to. And he's not going to play a full season next year. Oh, heck no.

Speaker 1761.16s - 776.42s

My thing is if you're Pat Mahomes or Travis Kelsey, right, kind of the two leaders on offense, you assume that both of them have reached out after the first incident. Like, look, dude, like you would hope.

Speaker 2776.62s - 787.68s

Yeah. Things happen. We're in your corner. But we need you. So we need, you know, we need you to get your head on right and not you know have these lapses

Speaker 1787.68s - 795.28s

in judgment and you know 10 days later two weeks later whatever it is yeah a couple months

Speaker 2795.28s - 803s

that's been a longer than that yeah a month or two so but now we're back to this it's like guy what

Speaker 1803s - 840.48s

like WTF man like I don't know I hope he's able to figure it out. Like, he did a good job. And, and while he's not going to blow anybody away off the line, he did a very good job of finding the soft spot of those zones being a trustworthy security blanket for Patrick Mahomes PERSON and actually doing a pretty good job with getting yards after the catch. So from a fantasy perspective, he was becoming extremely relevant. And now, I mean, he's going to go undrafted. I mean, there's no doubt about it. So I don't know.

Speaker 3840.48s - 858.1s

I hope everything works out well for him. I hope he, you know, kind of sees the error of his ways with the speeding thing and this alleged assault putting himself into, you know, even the situation to be accused.

Speaker 1858.4s - 869.34s

And there we go. Speaking of alleged content, did you guys see the case, the case against DAC ORG was dropped? I did.

Speaker 2872.08s - 875.72s

So that thing looked like a money chase, right?

Speaker 1875.84s - 877.86s

I think they're, you know, from the, from the get go.

Speaker 2879.12s - 880.78s

You know, ooh, he's about to get paid.

Speaker 1880.98s - 882.74s

Like, ooh, time to, time to get mine.

Speaker 0882.82s - 893.44s

Like that one looked like a money chase. I don't know. I wasn't there just perception but not fantasy relevant stuff happening

Speaker 1894.16s - 907.66s

really right like this is the highlights of the news this is not the stuff that we like to cover it's not it's not our sweet spot right like this is not I what we enjoy you know we don't do this for

Speaker 2907.66s - 913.46s

clicks like ESPN ORG or or any major network right they blow the stuff up there for clicks because

Speaker 0913.46s - 921.46s

they just want people to go read articles we touch on it just to baseline inform and really just

Speaker 1921.46s - 942.72s

let people know we are aware right like it's not we're not oblivious to it but this stuff ain't fun to talk about y'all like it's really not it sucks it's unfortunate all the way around like i wish none of it ever happened to anybody to to anybody but unfortunately that's not the world we live in i give you i give you a thing that we do care about

Speaker 2942.72s - 955.84s

that is positive and that does have an impact on us. And I just saw it, and it happened, I guess, earlier today. Tyler Boyd, going to the Titans ORG. One year deal worth up to $4.5 million.

Speaker 4957.24s - 959.5s

He just wants to be the number three receiver on it.

Speaker 2960s - 961.82s

It's going to move the needle for you anywhere.

Speaker 1963.26s - 966.2s

I mean, behind the Andre Hopkins PERSON and

Speaker 2966.2s - 966.92s

Calvin Ripley PERSON.

Speaker 1967.08s - 968.6s

But if they can't unlock Ridley PERSON,

Speaker 2968.68s - 969.68s

he might be the number two.

Speaker 1970.12s - 971.06s

And Treelon Burks PERSON.

Speaker 4971.56s - 972.94s

And Treelon Burks PERSON is there.

Speaker 1973.38s - 974.12s

Berks PERSON is cut.

Speaker 4974.96s - 975.38s

You think so?

Speaker 1975.38s - 977.5s

I don't think Berks PERSON makes it out of camp.

Speaker 2978.42s - 979.4s

He's not this team.

Speaker 1979.46s - 979.98s

He's not this,

Speaker 2980.28s - 980.54s

you know,

Speaker 1980.6s - 981.52s

coach's guy.

Speaker 2981.52s - 983.98s

Like he hasn't done anything to stay on the field.

Speaker 1984.44s - 993.84s

Would not surprise me if he gets scrapped. And, you know, coach's guy, like he hasn't done anything to stay on the field, would not surprise me if he gets scrapped and, you know, goes somewhere else to try and revamp his young career.

Speaker 2994.2s - 994.8s

But I'll give you.

Speaker 1995s - 997.14s

I'll give you one more.

Speaker 2997.14s - 1005s

The Carolina Panthers have agreed to terms with former first round pick, Rashad Penny PERSON.

Speaker 11006.68s - 1007.22s

Oh.

Speaker 21008.06s - 1009.84s

So that background,

Speaker 31010.14s - 1013.18s

or that backfield now is Jonathan Brooks PERSON,

Speaker 21013.34s - 1020.06s

Chuba Hubbard PERSON, Miles Sanders PERSON, Rahim Blackshear PERSON, Rashad Penny PERSON. It'll be an interesting camp,

Speaker 41020.06s - 1025.68s

but other than that, right? Like, we're a couple of years from the Rashad Penny PERSON.

Speaker 11026.44s - 1027.8s

It will be an interesting camp, though.

Speaker 21028.3s - 1028.44s

Yeah.

Speaker 41028.44s - 1028.7s

You're right.

Speaker 21028.78s - 1029.66s

You're right about that here.

Speaker 11030.22s - 1036.62s

And it could speak to, they got Brooks PERSON in. They did a full eval. And they're thinking, ooh, like,

Speaker 21036.78s - 1039.96s

maybe this is a red shirt year, right?

Speaker 01040.06s - 1042.22s

Like, maybe this.

Speaker 31042.68s - 1043.94s

Now, I don't think it takes,

Speaker 01044.02s - 1046.12s

I don't think it really does anything in dynasty-wise. But in redraft, as we get closer to the season, the more information comes out, maybe this. Now, I don't think it takes, I don't think it really does anything in dynasty wise,

Speaker 11046.22s - 1054.26s

but in redraft, as we get closer the season, the more information comes out, it will. But I, I don't know.

Speaker 21054.56s - 1055.96s

Here's the, here's the,

Speaker 11055.96s - 1059.6s

the red yarn,

Speaker 21060.02s - 1097.48s

connect the dots from the pictures on the cork board. It's Dave Canales PERSON, right? The new head coach was in Seattle GPE, Rashad Penny in Seattle GPE recently. So that's the connector dots there. He's familiar with how Canales PERSON likes to run,how he likes to do things. Maybe it's just a veteran voice you bring in to kind of help explain things to an otherwise young backfield, right? Not not anybody that's long in the tooth there. So maybe it's just a player coach, if you will, you know, somebody who can help explain things.

Speaker 11098.18s - 1106.86s

God PERSON knows he had time to study the playbook because he's never healthy. Is that my outside voice?

Speaker 31107.06s - 1111.04s

Sorry. You said the quiet part out.

Speaker 21111.7s - 1112.14s

Sorry.

Speaker 31115.02s - 1116.08s

Oh, that was good.

Speaker 41117s - 1118.94s

I liked it. All right.

Speaker 31119.5s - 1122.74s

So, yeah, a couple of fun things there, right?

Speaker 41122.74s - 1138.34s

Guys finding jobs and keeping the wheel turning, you know, getting another crack at it. So that's always a fun thing. Any other thoughts here before we start moving into some draft winners and losers? No.

Speaker 11138.34s - 1140.64s

Nothing of note. All righty.

Speaker 41141.46s - 1174.28s

Well, we'll go ahead and start it off right. We're talking AFC LOC side of things. And we'll just start off here with Baltimore ORG. Baltimore ORG going out from a fantasy perspective. I had a couple of later round draft picks, right? The DeVontes Walker, Roshin Alley, and Devin Leary PERSON, all quarterback or all offensive players there.Taking in the fourth round or later. Any thoughts here on winners and losers for this team? I think it's kind of status quo.

Speaker 11174.58s - 1176.76s

Maybe Bateman PERSON, right?

Speaker 41176.76s - 1182.72s

If Tess Walker can push Bateman PERSON a little bit,

Speaker 11182.84s - 1270.56s

but ultimately I don't see anything really changing with this team, right? Todd Monkin PERSON had it operating pretty well without the presence of a star receiver. You have two very good tight ends, right? We saw what likely could do so I could see them running a lot of two tight end sets, which would go with the running game. And especially with Derek Henry there, like, this is a play where I'm worried of my dynasty shares of Lamar only because does he ever have to run this year?Like, scramble, yes, but I mean, like, legitimately run. So, I mean, I just, I don't know how that looks, right? They got, they got their offensive tackle out of, out of Washington ORG there in the second round, help plug some offensive line holes and create some depth there. And then they worked on their defense, obviously, but, uh, I mean, I mean, I think the only person who might be on notice is Bateman PERSON if he can't get himself right. But ultimately, I think it's kind of the same cast of characters. And instead of Gus Edwards or Dobbins, you enter Derek Henry, who is, large part been one of the most durable running backs we've seen since, like, Frank Gore PERSON.Right.

Speaker 21271.06s - 1330.9s

I think they did what they needed to do to win their division, right? You need to find a way to slow down the offenses of Cleveland, of Cincinnati GPE, right? Like, you need to find a way to slow those down and give your own team, you know, keep your own offense on the field, right? Like, you need to find a way to slow those down and give your own team, you know, keep your own offense on the field, right? So I think they did, they addressed division winner needs. And I think they are a team that just wants to get into the tournament, right?Like, get into the tournament. We've got Lamar Jackson PERSON. Anything can happen, right? So win your division. that's the easiest way to get into that tournament and i i think they did a really good job of of doing that you know you get a good a good corner there uh that i don't know a lot of people thought would still be around at 30um i certainly thought that corner would be a position that would go a lot quicker. And they kind of had their pick of corners there, right?

Speaker 01331s - 1337.02s

Because there hadn't really been too many that had gone at that point, if any, right? I don't remember if any had gone by that point.

Speaker 21337.02s - 1368.62s

And then you're right, Kevin PERSON, they addressed some O-Y needs, really, really, really address their defensive needs. But in terms of fantasy, nothing has changed from how I viewed this team last year to how I view this team going into this year based on this draft or how I, you know, viewed this team pre-draft, I guess it's the way to say it with the additions they made in free agency. Fair enough. Yeah, you know, viewed this team pre-draft, I guess it's the way to say it, with the additions they made in free agency. Fair enough.

Speaker 41369.04s - 1408.18s

Yeah, you know, the Tess Walker PERSON, right, like this is kind of an interesting play there, and this is one that will be kind of keeping an eye out as we start going and really kind of getting into training camps there. But, you know, for him, if he's the number three wide receiver on this team, not much interest in that one there. But if he can find himself into the number two wide receiver role, like there could be some fantasy relevance there. So that's kind of the only thing that I'm keeping an eye on this one to see how that one might play out. But all righty. Any other thoughts on this one? We're ready to head to Buffalo ORG.On to Buffalo ORG. On to Buffalo.

Speaker 11408.64s - 1409.5s

On to Buffalo ORG.

Speaker 41410.1s - 1421.72s

All righty. So with Buffalo ORG, they go out, they do some tradey downy and end up getting Keon Coleman in the first pick of the second round.

Speaker 21421.72s - 1430.42s

Who is like a draft darling, right? Like that dude, he was so fun to see all his, you know, post-draft stuff with the team. He was great.

Speaker 31430.92s - 1436.22s

He had the line that I'm going to use, I think, for the rest of my life.

Speaker 11436.4s - 1437s

And that is...

Speaker 31437s - 1437.64s

Tiger Wish he could.

Speaker 21438.08s - 1439.52s

Yes, a tiger wish he could.

Speaker 11441.48s - 1441.98s

Yeah.

Speaker 21442.98s - 1443.7s

I agree.

Speaker 11443.7s - 1520.32s

The winner here is Josh Allen, getting a big X to kind of focus in on. And I'm interested to see what this offense looks like, right? With no Gabe Davis and no Stefan Diggs PERSON, there are a ton of targets to be had, right? And it's going to be someone. Is it shorter? Yeah, is it shorter? Is it going to be Coleman who soaks up a bunch of those? Yes, you think Kincaid PERSON gets a couple extras. But, I mean, he had 75 targets himself already last year, right? I mean, so it's not like Kincaid only had 30 targets and he's going to be able to absorb, you know, an extra 80. I mean, so I'm interested to see what this, what this offense is going to look like, but I do think the winner was Josh Allen because he got himself a true X. Now it's just how fast Keon Coleman PERSON can get up to speed and do that. And then allow some of these other guys to play that role of the underneath routes, the sitting down in zones, that type of thing. And let Coleman, you know, he's going to have to high points and balls and bail Allen PERSON out. That's going to be his main role here as a rookie.

Speaker 21520.7s - 1599s

Let's talk about the wide receiver core that Buffalo ORG has. Their roster right now is kind of a bunch of dudes who have been kind of disappointing, right? Like it feels like it's like they're trying to resurrect, you know, some, some disappointments here. You'll understand what I mean when I go through this name, the names here. But Kalio Shakir, Kionkulman, Curtis Samuel PERSON. Those are listed as the starter, right?Curtis Samuel PERSON kind of falls in that. Kind of didn't live up to the potential that we thought Curtis Samuel PERSON would live up to. And then we've got Chase Claypool, Mack Hollins, Justin Shorter, KJ Hamler, Andy Isabella PERSON, Quintes, Cephys, Tyrell Shavers, Brian Thompson PERSON. So, like, those are the receivers that are listed. Obviously not all, what is that, 12 that I listed off there. Not all of them are going to make the roster. But, like, I think they're just trying to hope that a greener pastures situation will work out for some of these guys when they, you know, when they get to Buffalo ORG. Maybe Josh Allen is a wide receiver whisperer, if you will, and can try to, you know, when they get to Buffalo. Maybe Josh Allen is a, is a wide receiver whisperer, if you will, and can try to, you know, resurrect some of these dudes who have largely been good and had high expectations and then just like didn't quite live up to those expectations.

Speaker 31599.48s - 1605.46s

And when I say that, I think of guys like a Curtis Samuel, like Chase Claypool PERSON, like Mack Hollins PERSON, right? Like,

Speaker 21605.54s - 1607.76s

they've been good. They just

Speaker 01607.76s - 1609.98s

weren't what we thought they would

Speaker 21609.98s - 1614.3s

be. KJ. Hamler PERSON. Andy Isabella PERSON.

Speaker 41614.76s - 1616.12s

Yeah. Like, it's just

Speaker 21616.12s - 1628.46s

like, you know, you just keep going, right? Like, this is who it is. But I think the big thing here with this team with this is this tight end group, right? Dalton Kaked Dawson Knox PERSON.

Speaker 01628.72s - 1634.62s

Like those are two really good security blankets for a guy who doesn't really need a security blanket,

Speaker 21634.92s - 1659.44s

but we'll figure out a way to get them the ball. Kevin PERSON, you're right. It's going to be weird to see who gets that, you know, who takes up those targets that left this off season. That's a fascinating team to me that I'm probably going to have to pay a little bit more attention to what that team looks like coming out of training camp before I start drafting them.

Speaker 31660.44s - 1660.54s

Yeah.

Speaker 11661.14s - 1668.66s

So I think another guy who won who won was James Cook PERSON.

Speaker 31670.2s - 1670.74s

Right?

Speaker 11670.94s - 1674.32s

Now, I do think Ray Davis PERSON is going to get some goal line work, right?

Speaker 31674.56s - 1676.88s

But Cook PERSON was already coming out for a lot of that goal line work.

Speaker 01676.98s - 1679.4s

So I don't know that that's necessarily lost touches.

Speaker 21680.68s - 1683.6s

Cook was very much their guy in between the 20s.

Speaker 11688.94s - 1692.72s

And yes, he got into the end zone, but not nearly as much as those of us who had him would have liked.

Speaker 31693.08s - 1695.7s

Um, but overall, I think he won.

Speaker 11695.84s - 1697.84s

I think Ray Davis PERSON is going to be a touchdown vulture.

Speaker 31698.04s - 1702.46s

He's interesting in, uh, best ball formats because you're going to be able to get

Speaker 11702.46s - 1774.7s

him pretty late. And he's most likely going to be, if it's not Josh Allen, who takes a fair amount of rushing work on his own, especially that close to the end zone. I think Ray Davis PERSON is going to have every opportunity to be that goal line back and try and cement himself there as kind of that niche as a rookie which which is absolutely needed so um you know all things dependent comes down to pass pro right like james cook did struggle in a little bitof past pro last year ray davis did a little bit better job in college now we'll see how this translates to the pros but ray davis you know for for you, for, you know, coming out of Kentucky ORG is not afraid to stick his nose in there. That is one thing that Stoops PERSON absolutely teaches his guys there at Kentucky is you will protect your quarterback and whether it was Will Levis PERSON or, um, um, oh shoot, the guy that, uh, Baltimore ORG drafted that we didn't even talk about. Um, oh shoot, the guy that, uh, Baltimore drafted that we didn't even talk about. Um, hold please. I apologize. Dennis, Devin Leary PERSON is.

Speaker 41774.7s - 1781.06s

Kevin Leary. Yeah, Devin Leary PERSON. Yep. That's what I was thinking of. So I don't know. I'm not.

Speaker 11783.16s - 1785.2s

So we'll see. Ray Davis PERSON. Like I said, best ball. I'm not. So we'll see. Ray Davis,

Speaker 31785.58s - 1785.68s

like I said,

Speaker 11786s - 1800.2s

best ball. I'm not too worried about them in a redraft. Dynasty, maybe a dynasty late fourth. If you have rookie drafts that go longer than fourth, definitely a fifth or sixth round.

Speaker 41800.68s - 1801.32s

Yeah.

Speaker 11802.04s - 1802.16s

All right.

Speaker 41804.04s - 1806.62s

Any other thoughts here on Buffalo? Are we ready to go to Cincinnati GPE?

Speaker 11809.12s - 1815.24s

Dissinsey. All right. So Cincinnati added Jermaine Burton, wide receiver in the third.

Speaker 41815.92s - 1827.44s

They added Eric all tight end in the fourth and Tanner McCallion in the six. Any thoughts here as far as winners and losers on this team for fantasy draft?

Speaker 21831.48s - 1836.72s

Well, I mean, the guy who was a loser just got out of town, right?

Speaker 11836.82s - 1844.38s

Tyler Boyd was seemingly going to be replaced as the third receiver with Jermaine Burton PERSON.

Speaker 21844.38s - 1865.92s

be replaced as the third receiver with Jermaine Burton PERSON. The two tight ends is an interesting choice, especially behind a Mike Gaseki PERSON that they have on that roster now. So I don't know both of those guys make make it, but it's very interesting.

Speaker 11866.88s - 1875.02s

Maybe it's some insurance for Giseki PERSON's health aversion. So I think they both make it for two different reasons. Gaseki's a one-year rental.

Speaker 01875.76s - 1877.46s

So I think he's just kind of that bridge.

Speaker 31878.16s - 1879.9s

Eric All PERSON is going to be their hands guy.

Speaker 01881.16s - 1887s

I'm picking up quite a few pieces of him in late rookie

Speaker 11887s - 1926.38s

rookie dynasty drafts right now. I'm grabbing him mid, mid fourth round on any team that I feel like I need a tight end. I'm taking a flyer on him. And then there's another guy. We'll get two later on for the Kansas City Chiefs ORG that I'll talk about. And I'm grabbing him. It's one of the two. And I'm splitting. I'm splitting my time between those two guys. And then Tanner McCallin PERSON is, he's more of an inline blocker. So you're Drew Sample PERSON type, right? So again, Drew Sample PERSON doesn't like anybody's world on fire. I believe he, I think next year is his contract year. I believe.

Speaker 41926.96s - 1929.18s

The Drew sample is still on the Bengals ORG as well.

Speaker 11929.78s - 1931.28s

On the four deep, if you will.

Speaker 21932.1s - 1932.26s

Yeah.

Speaker 11932.58s - 1935.08s

So, and I think his contract years next year.

Speaker 21935.78s - 1939.9s

So it just, you know, I think it's insurance.

Speaker 11940.04s - 1960.42s

I think it's some pieces, but, you know, trying to find weapons and seeing what clicks for Joe Burrow PERSON. Obviously, you know, they, they didn't address the offensive line because they did a lot of that in free agency last year. But you hope the cohesion works because the lack of offensive lines still got, right?

Speaker 21960.54s - 1962.6s

Still got Burrow PERSON hurt, right?

Speaker 11962.6s - 1991.34s

So the goal is get him healthy, get the ball out of his hands quick. Yes, you have Chase. You have Tiggins who, or T. Higgins, not T. Higgins, who's asking for a trade, who's not asking for a trade, like all the things and kind of drama that's coming around with him here at the moment. So, I mean, selfishly for fantasy reasons, I kind of want him to stay because there's no guarantee that wherever he goes, he's going to be a better situation than having Joe Burrow PERSON on the flip side.

Speaker 21991.7s - 1997.5s

You know, if he goes somewhere else, maybe he doesn't have the competition quite like Jamar Chase PERSON as the guy in front of him.

Speaker 11997.94s - 1998.18s

Right.

Speaker 41999.82s - 2009.76s

Fair enough. Yeah, this one doesn't really move the dial for me on any of these picks coming in kind of either way. So kind of status quo on this one for Sinci PERSON for me.

Speaker 12009.76s - 2030.92s

I think I grabbed one Jermaine Burton piece like middle of the third round because I felt like he had fallen just a little bit too far out of the eight rookie drafts that I've done so far. So I'm not, I am not citing him like I am more Eric PERSON all. I probably have him in about half. Fair enough.

Speaker 42031.62s - 2051.68s

All righty, on to Cleveland ORG then. And Cleveland went out and got Jamari Thrash in the fifth round. And quite frankly, I think he's probably going to be the fourth or fifth guy at best on this receiving core. But any thoughts here on Cleveland ORG's fantasy relevance players that they added?

Speaker 22053.62s - 2055.34s

They only pick six times.

Speaker 32055.68s - 2062.42s

They only pick six times. One of them was an offensive player, right? That's the only, I guess there was a guard there in the third round.

Speaker 22063.48s - 2074.78s

But they picked six times. Four of those six picks were defensive players. Obviously, you know, they are kind of hamstrung with what they've got at quarterback,

Speaker 32075.8s - 2078.6s

at running back through, you know, free agency.

Speaker 22079.9s - 2118.84s

This team, I think, of the teams that we've talked about so far, like I have the hardest time trying to figure out, you know, what piece I want. That's not quarterback, right? Like, what running back do I want? Do I want Nick Chubb PERSON? Well, Jerome Ford, Dante Foreman, and Nahim Hines PERSON are behind him.Like any one of those guys, they've been starters in this league, right? I don't know that I do. do i want amari cooper well jerry judy and elijah more PERSON okay yeah i probably want amary cooper PERSON that's that's what i want sorry um especially with the uh especially with the late

Speaker 42118.84s - 2130.38s

round capital you can get for amari cooper in a lot of cases right like the guy that can the guy that has the ability to to be wide receiver one on the season that you can get in the fifth or sixth round in a lot of cases, right? Like the guy that can the guy that has the ability to be wide receiver one on the season that you can get in the fifth or sixth round in a lot of cases. Yeah.

Speaker 12130.5s - 2132.92s

Yeah. Amari PERSON's underappreciated.

Speaker 42133.42s - 2136.62s

Definitely underappreciate. So yeah, I like the market. I like.

Speaker 12136.88s - 2205.26s

So what this said to me is I, first of all, I like the Zach Zenter pickup, the guard out of Michigan, um, because he absolutely fits kind of kind of this zone running style that Cleveland ORG likes to run. To me, this speaks well to Nick Chubb's PERSON recovery. Now, we've still got to see how this looks. But if Cleveland was really, really concerned about Nick Chubb's PERSON recovery and what that was going to mean to them, I think they would have been doing a couple different things in the draftto make sure they have a young guy coming in behind who they feel like can take immediate carries and they didn't even sniff at the position. At least it looks like it. So I think Nick Chubb PERSON's a winner. I'm optimistically hoping because he really is one of my favorite players in the NFL ORG, mainly because he's a Georgia guy and I just can't help it. But, you know, I think he's a winner. The wide receiver core, the Judy trade was like a draft pick, essentially, you know, their fourth, fourth is that what it was? Whatever it was. But, I mean, so they got Judy PERSON.

Speaker 32205.88s - 2207.68s

Yeah, worthwhile era, right?

Speaker 12207.76s - 2208.68s

Give Judy PERSON a new start.

Speaker 32208.78s - 2210.72s

Give Denver GPE some capital, all the things.

Speaker 12210.72s - 2229.82s

But, you know, the draft itself, not fantasy, sexy necessarily. But if you read into it a little bit, I think it speaks well to the running backs for Cleveland, specifically Nick Chubb PERSON. And we're going to see if Deshaun PERSON can improve or whether we're going to be seeing some

Speaker 22229.82s - 2278.44s

this team should be good. You've got Deshawn Watson PERSON. Deshawn Watson PERSON, right, like, he was good, right? You've got Amari Cooper PERSON. You've got a good running back. You've got Kevin Stefanski PERSON, who is a brilliant offensive mind, column plays there. Like, this team should be good. It is wild that they haven't figured it out and put it all together. And yes, injuries and suspensions and all that played into it. But like, a full season of this team of this offense should be in the top 10. Like it shouldn't be worse than that. I don't know that it will be, but it should be. On paper, it should be.Fair enough.

Speaker 42279.56s - 2284.54s

Any other thoughts on Cleveland, or are we ready to head to Denver GPE? Do we have to.

Speaker 12284.6s - 2285.34s

Go mile high.

Speaker 42285.9s - 2305.82s

Yeah, all right. Denver GPE, it is. They drafted a quarterback in the first round and went out and got Troy Franklin in the fourth. Audik Estimate in the fifth and Devon Vellé in the seventh. Any thoughts here on the Broncos and the fantasy relevancy of the Broncos this year?

Speaker 12307.6s - 2327.18s

Well, it's obviously relevant, right? So Bo Nix is going to compete for the Broncos ORG starting role. I think the job is kind of already his to lose, given the fact that his competition is Jared Stidham and Zach Wilson PERSON.

Speaker 22328.02s - 2329.92s

And Ben Danucci PERSON. Don't forget about him.

Speaker 12330.88s - 2332.2s

Penzsche PERSON's an afterthought.

Speaker 22332.28s - 2332.98s

He's a camp arm.

Speaker 12334.36s - 2445.12s

So we're going to see how this shakes out. Sean Payton had never drafted a first round quarterback. Bo Nix is his first experience in doing that. You know, Bo PERSON reading some things and going back and looking, doing some research. I think the Broncos liked Bo Nix as much as they did because a lot of what Oregon did offensively is what Denver GPE wants to do offensively. They want to run with their five offensive linemen and put as many people out into routes as possible and let the quarterback with his mind be essentially his own protection, right? Oregon ORG did very much the same thing. So we're going to see how this works. It clearly did not work for Russell Wilson, but Russell Wilson PERSON wanted to hold the ball and push it down the field. Bo Nixworked well for Oregon ORG, right? He was good at taking kind of that the checkdown, reading, progressing through some of those routes, having five guys in there. So he did go throughout progressions, especially at Oregon ORG, and have to develop that. So, you know, do I love the pick? It was not my favorite pick. You know, I was really disappointed on draft day. I'm trying to find some silver linings in it because he is the guy for the next four years inDenver GPE, maybe longer, but at least the next four he's he's going to be the guy so we'll see how that works um you know i like that they got him a guy that he's comfortable with and troy franklin PERSON i think the biggest thing with troy franklin in general is going to be putting on some weight he's like 173 pounds yep at 6-2 like he's a little slight of frame i'm not going to say he's frail3 pounds. Yep. At 6.2.

Speaker 32448.16s - 2448.28s

Like, he's a little slight of frame.

Speaker 12450.88s - 2452.54s

I'm not going to say he's frail because he doesn't really have an injury history. So I don't want to put that stigma on him.

Speaker 42454.02s - 2454.32s

But he is slight of frame.

Speaker 12456s - 2458.06s

He's got more of a basketball build. Yeah. Mm-hmm.

Speaker 42458.54s - 2458.66s

So.

Speaker 12458.82s - 2470.24s

Yeah. So, so he's, he's a speedster. Um, kind of, um, do you guys remember, um, was it Marquez Calloway PERSON? Mm-hmm.

Speaker 32470.46s - 2470.82s

Yeah.

Speaker 12471.62s - 2472.78s

Like he,

Speaker 32472.78s - 2475.48s

he reminds me of him slightly.

Speaker 12475.88s - 2516.46s

Um, but again, he's, he is just slighter frame. So I don't know that there's a true comp to that. Like him and Marvin Mims PERSON are all these are kind of like decent comps as far as build wise, but even Mims has, you know, 10 pounds on the guy. So we're going to see how this translates over. But it is a it is a familiarity piece right there, right? They went and got Bo PERSON. They went and got one of his guys to try and help with that. We'll see.But I like this Adrick Estime PERSON pick as well. I think that he will push Giovante eventually. Like,

Speaker 02516.46s - 2527.38s

Giovante is not the shoe in for the lead dog here. I think Estimate PERSON has a really good chance of pushing him a little bit, only because he's built to sustain

Speaker 12527.38s - 2556.52s

hits and he's not going to get gas like P. Ryan does. So I think we could see a nice one-two punch out of the two of them as the season goes on. So I think that's a good thing. And then Devon Vail out of Utah ORG, he's a practice squad guy. Like, I mean, I do not see a world in which he makes the active roster, but I do think he stays on the practice roster and they use him for scout team coverage. Fair enough.

Speaker 22557.32s - 2561.38s

We haven't seen roster or not roster schedules yet.

Speaker 42562.78s - 2564.22s

Broncos finished last year.

Speaker 22564.62s - 2565.3s

May 15th. 8 and 9 last year. May 15th.

Speaker 12565.58s - 2566.28s

8 and 9.

Speaker 22566.44s - 2596.64s

May 15. Thank you, Kevin PERSON. Broncos finished last year, 8 and 9. Oh, what was that? Yeah.I'll put the over under at 7.5. Again, we don't know what their schedule is. I can't remember who they have. But we do know that they play the Chiefs twice, the Readers twice, and the Chargers ORG twice. We know that. Over under seven and a half for wins, as the team is constructed today.Under.

Speaker 42600.14s - 2602.28s

I think seven and a half is a good number, honestly.

Speaker 12602.42s - 2605.22s

And I haven't looked at the Vegas GPE line. I have no idea what Vegas GPE has it set out.

Speaker 22605.22s - 2608.58s

I don't know that they've put one out because there isn't a schedule yet.

Speaker 12608.92s - 2612.06s

So I'm just, I'm just floating one out there.

Speaker 22613.16s - 2616.82s

Like, we know, we know they play the Steelers ORG.

Speaker 12618.38s - 2618.8s

Sure.

Speaker 22619.14s - 2623.84s

I don't know. Are they playing the NFC or AFC North ORG? Is that who they're matched up with this year?

Speaker 12624.34s - 2629.64s

No, I think it's because of a different reason.

Speaker 22629.64s - 2633.66s

It's because they both finished in the same position within their division.

Speaker 12635.98s - 2639.28s

I think they have, I'd have to look. I think they have the South LOC.

Speaker 22640.42s - 2664.52s

Well, it looks like it was the AFC LOC, and there was some AFC South last year. It was the NFC North LOC, so they won't have NFC North, I don't think, again, where they played Minnesota, Green Bay, Detroit GPE. And is there one that I'm missing?

Speaker 12664.96s - 2668.9s

Oh, Chicago. They had the east last year. Broncos ORG did.

Speaker 22669.9s - 2676.5s

Miami, the Jets, Buffalo, New England LOC. They had the East last year. So they had an AFC East and NFC North, so I don't know what that, what that is.

Speaker 12676.62s - 2683s

Anyway, seven and a half. What do you think? They have the NFC ORG. Derek says under, I instantly thought eight again.

Speaker 22683.34s - 2687.06s

So that was my initial reaction without seeing any schedule is.

Speaker 12688.18s - 2697.1s

I think they could do eight. The under wouldn't surprise me, right? Seeing, you know, I'm on the under.

Speaker 22697.32s - 2698.42s

I'm on the under.

Speaker 12699.32s - 2710.08s

But it's just, it's just how well, how well can the quarterbacks on this roster truly run Sean Payton's PERSON system

Speaker 32710.08s - 2718.3s

that's what it is Russ and Sean PERSON did not see eye to eye they just didn't and it created all sorts

Speaker 12718.3s - 2747.6s

of conflicts within within this offense if he has a quarterback who he feels like can operate his system, does it change the offensive outlook and take some pressure off this defense? Like, but I don't know if that equates to more wins. It might be better games. They might be more entertaining games, but I don't know that it equates to more wins.

Speaker 22748.06s - 2753.14s

Do they give up 70 again in any game? No.

Speaker 12753.9s - 2760.8s

No, no. No Stephanie PERSON burgers. Historically bad they were.

Speaker 22761.7s - 2772.98s

At least to start. Yeah, I'm on the under. I think seven and a half. And obviously I came up with a number. It's a struggle for me, but I'm on the under. Yeah.

Speaker 42773.9s - 2779.32s

And a rebuild, I'm hoping that it's the underset. That way we can keep trying to go out and get some higher draft picks.

Speaker 22779.32s - 2782.08s

And get some talent on the roster for sure.

Speaker 42782.96s - 2807.12s

All righty. Houston did not have a first round pick. You know, didn't really bring in a kind of a ton there on the offensive side of things, you know, outside of the trade to bring on Stefan Diggs PERSON. But any thoughts here as far as the winners, losers of the Texans ORG when it came to the draft and fantasy football? This is a team I want a piece of.

Speaker 22807.12s - 2844.56s

I want a piece of this offense, some way, shape, or form. Be it Stroud, who I had last year and was, like, that was a nice piece to half with C.J. Stroud PERSON. Like, he was helpful. Joe Mixing at running back, Diggs or Collins or Tank Dell PERSON or John Metchie the third's coming back or Robert Woods PERSON.Like, it's a little crowded in the wide receiver room. Stefan Diggs PERSON kind of finds himself in a familiar situation, right? Like, it was a little crowded there in Buffalo ORG. He wasn't like a true, you know, alpha that he wants to be.

Speaker 02846.76s - 2851.56s

And he's kind of found himself in another crowded wide receiver room. I think when it's all said and done,

Speaker 22851.62s - 2875.88s

those five guys that I named are probably the five that they hang on to on the roster, on the active roster. Dalton Schultz is another good piece to have there. So like, I want a piece, at the right price, I want a piece of this year's Texans ORG. Yeah, I agree.

Speaker 12875.98s - 2895.2s

I don't know that there's any, I don't know that there's any losers. Try to address some offensive line play. You're protecting your quarterback there. You know, Cade Stover is, he's not pushing dalton shultz no so i don't think that there's any any threat there

Speaker 32897.84s - 2903.2s

uh johar jordan out of louville GPE i mean maybe the losers damien pierce

Speaker 12905.38s - 2905.9s

potentially like i think potentially like if jordan's pushing uh I mean, maybe the loser's Damian Pierce PERSON. Potentially.

Speaker 42906.18s - 2912.98s

I think potentially, like if Jordan's pushing Pierce PERSON for that backup role,

Speaker 12913.18s - 2936.14s

if Pierce isn't able to kind of snap out of his funk because he's clearly number two behind mixing, you know, that might be the loser. But outside of that, it's pretty status quo. They did their work in free agency or young guys that they've already had on the team. And, you know, I think this makes sense, right? Some of these guys they brought in, they're veteran guys. They've been the guys who can win. And you're just hoping they gel, right?

Speaker 42937.18s - 2941.08s

There's no guarantee that veterans you bring into the locker room are good fits.

Speaker 12942.6s - 2993.88s

You know, you run into plenty of situations where they, they kind of drain the morale of that roster, just as much as they can be the catalyst for, you know, energy and drive forward. You know, we've seen it with the Broncos ORG on a couple different occasions, right?DeMarcus Ware PERSON, catalyst, right? They rallied around to Marcus Ware. They wanted to do all these things for DeMarcus Ware, catalyst, right? They rallied around to Marcos Ware PERSON. They wanted to do all these things for DeMarcus Ware PERSON. Then you brought in Randy Gregory, Pariah. Like, just absolutely sapped the life out of that pass rushing room. So we'll see how it works for Houston ORG, but I think they did a good job building aroundand creating depth on the roster, but I don't think there's any losers from the active roster outside of possibly Pierce PERSON. Yeah. Yeah, I would agree. All right.

Speaker 42994.8s - 3021.04s

Let's go ahead and head to Indianapolis, where the, yeah, they brought in A.D. Mitchell PERSON. They brought in Anthony Gould PERSON. It really kind of as offensive weapons in the draft there. But any kind of thoughts here as far as potential winners, losers on this Colts ORG from a fantasy perspective?

Speaker 13026.46s - 3029.3s

I think the loser might be Alec Pierce PERSON.

Speaker 33029.84s - 3030.64s

All right.

Speaker 13035.12s - 3066.88s

A.D. Mitchell PERSON is going to be trying to take that deep work, right? Pittman PERSON, the deep game is not really his spot, right? He's an outside the numbers, sticks guy. He'll contested catch a little bit, but he's not going to burn past anybody. But it worked well for him last year with both Richardson and Minchu PERSON. So I don't think he's, you know, losing sleep over any of this. But I think it might be Alec Pierce who's going, like, I might need to show something here because I've kind of just been a one-trick pony and my trick ain't working right now. Right.

Speaker 43067.6s - 3080.14s

Well, and especially since they already had Josh Downs PERSON on the roster that can get deep and go that way as well, then bring in an AD Mitchell PERSON on top of that. I would agree with you. I think Pierce PERSON needs to show a little something here.

Speaker 13080.44s - 3081.26s

Yeah. And I do.

Speaker 43081.38s - 3105.56s

I think Downs is completely safe because he's more middle of the field. Mitchell PERSON plays a little bit more outside. Now, he can go inside, but he plays a little bit more outside. So if Mitchell's able to come down with some of these catches and continue to focus on, you know, getting getting that ball put away once he gets it on his hands, Pierce is going to be in trouble because Mitchell's route tree comprehension, I think,

Speaker 13105.56s - 3109.68s

is already better than what Alec Pierce's PERSON is. Fair enough.

Speaker 43112.98s - 3117.84s

I'm just looking at the depth chart here, and Joe Flacco continues, his tour to NFL ORG.

Speaker 23118.84s - 3123.8s

He's now with the Colts ORG. Didn't know that, but there he is. Dude, why not?

Speaker 13123.9s - 3125.56s

After what you did for Cleveland last year,

Speaker 23125.66s - 3132.04s

why not bring him in if you're worried about your young quarterback being either injured again or just needing some veteran tutelage?

Speaker 13133.52s - 3135.5s

Why not put Flack PERSON go in and pay him?

Speaker 23135.5s - 3147.86s

He's worth every penny if nothing else for the experience. Yeah. It's going to have a whole wall of jerseys for teams that you played for us. It's going to need to get some more space in that room. Right.

Speaker 43147.98s - 3151.46s

Like, you know, other players collect players that they swap with.

Speaker 23151.66s - 3158.86s

She just goes just like I got my own teams here. That's funny.

Speaker 43159.2s - 3159.5s

Yeah.

Speaker 23160.66s - 3161.26s

All righty.

Speaker 43161.52s - 3165.98s

Any other thoughts here on Indy? Are we ready to head to Jacksonville ORG? Let's go down. All right. So the other thoughts here on India? Are we ready to head to Jacksonville ORG? Let's go now.

Speaker 33166.7s - 3167.48s

All right.

Speaker 43167.58s - 3191.98s

So the Jags ORG bring in Brian Thomas Jr. First round with the wide receiver. They also bring in Kilani Robinson PERSON. You guys kind of eat as far as fantasy relevant players that they bring in here. Any other thoughts here as far as your fantasy winners and losers for Jacksonville ORG, Jaguars ORG?Loser,

Speaker 13191.98s - 3204.92s

again, Tank Bigsby, possibly if Kilan Robinson PERSON can push him. Again, he was kind of buried at Texas ORG, right?Behind Bejan PERSON, behind um, Rocheon PERSON.

Speaker 43205.64s - 3205.9s

No. Yeah. Behindcheon. No.

Speaker 13206.04s - 3206.28s

Yeah.

Speaker 43207.32s - 3208.74s

Behind Jonathan Brooks PERSON.

Speaker 13209.32s - 3211.34s

Yeah. So he was kind of buried there.

Speaker 43213.44s - 3218.04s

So we'll see how that works out, but Tank Dell did not show anything last year.

Speaker 13218.28s - 3220.94s

So again, ETN ORG's not necessarily worried.

Speaker 33221.12s - 3224.24s

It's not necessarily pushing him. Or yeah, sorry, Bigsby, not Tank Dell PERSON.

Speaker 13225.24s - 3287.06s

So that's interesting. Brian Thomas, you would like to think that Trevor Lawrence PERSON is a winner here, but he's got to take a step, right? Like, we thought last year was going to be that step with Christian Kirk and Calvin Ridley. And it just didn't happen. There were flashes, but that's all we've ever seen from lawrence is is flashes like there hasn't been uh consistently that higher that higher rate of learning and that ability to take the next step here and uh clock's about to strike midnightmidnight on this one because if if he's showing improvement, the contracts run its course, but there's really nothing stopping Jacksonville from jumping back in the 20, 25 draft and really taking a look at quarterback if they feel like Lawrence PERSON isn't going to get the job done. Instead of paying him hundreds of millions of dollars to extend him. It's fair. Yeah.

Speaker 23288.86s - 3326.32s

Jacksonville ORG was a big disappointment, right? Especially the year before they make the playoffs. They win a playoff game. It's a big disappointment this last year. And I think they have expectations that are higher. So a lot of that does fall on the play of Trevor Lawrence PERSON.And that's why you go and get a whiteout. You. And that's why you go and get a whiteout. That's why you go and get a running back to try and help take some of that pressure off of your franchise quarterback, whether or not he puts it together and can be kind of that quarterback we saw two years ago versus last year. That remains to be seen, I guess. Right.

Speaker 43327.24s - 3382.8s

Kind of the interesting thing that stands out to me with this one, too, is kind of how their wide receiver room is made up, right? Like, Brian Thomas PERSON, very much more of a deep threat type of guy there that still has some work to do on developing the route tree and especially kind of the short to intermediate type of stuff there. Gabe Davis very much a vertical threat there as well. So you got two guys to line up on the backside that are deep threats. And Christian Kirk PERSON has certainly done somegreat stuff out of the slot type of deal. But again, he's definitely a bit more down the field type of thing. And so you've got a whole bunch of guys on the roster that are, you know, intermediate to long, long pass catcher type of things here, which at that point, that may just spell some really good things for the, for Evan Ingram down the stretch here. Like that, that may be the winner here with how they've developed this wide receiver room.

Speaker 13384.54s - 3427.08s

Kirk PERSON's the guy I want my hands all over. I think he's going to see, you know, 115 to 120 targets this year being kind of the incumbent, if you will, who's already used to playing with Lawrence PERSON and has that rapport. We're going to see if Gabe Davis can kind of take that next step and truly be a consistent option at the wide receiver position. Was it Buffalo's offense or was it the fact that Gabe Davis just takes games,it shouldn't take games off, but more active in some games than others. I think maybe that's the approach I want to take with it. But, you know, Christian Kirk PERSON's the guy that I want. Fair enough.

Speaker 43428.08s - 3449.24s

All right. Kansas City ORG. I went out and brought in some guys here as well, right? Spent first round capital on Xavier Worthy PERSON. Went out and got Jared Wiley out of TCU ORG at the tight end. Any thoughts here as far as winners and losers for fantasy on the sheaths? Losers Rishie Rice PERSON.

Speaker 13450.88s - 3453.54s

I think another loser is Skymore PERSON. Yeah.

Speaker 33453.54s - 3455.22s

We're being completely honest, right?

Speaker 13455.3s - 3486.58s

Cadarius Tony, Skymore PERSON. Like, I don't think either one of them are going to get cut, but I think they're both being put on notice. Like, look, we have Hollywood Brown this year. Xavier Worthy PERSON is going to be able to do some different things for us, much like what Tony PERSON could do and kind of fill that.Yes, we're going to need some more presence, especially with whatever looming suspension is coming for Rashid Rice. So I think those are kind of losers. Big winner, Isaiah Pacheco PERSON. They didn't bring anybody up. Right. So I think P are kind of losers. Big winner, Isaiah Pacheco PERSON. They didn't bring anybody up. Right.

Speaker 33486.96s - 3488.96s

So I think Pacheco is a big winner.

Speaker 13491.36s - 3507.78s

You know, and then obviously they just extended Travis Kelsey PERSON, which is exciting to see. But Jared Wiley PERSON would be the other tight end. I am grabbing late in rookie drafts. Again, Eric all. Jared Wiley PERSON, between the other tight end. I am grabbing late in rookie drafts. Again, Eric All, Jared Wiley PERSON,

Speaker 03509.42s - 3517.06s

between the two of them. I'm grabbing a lot. There's going to eventually be an error parent for Travis Kelsey PERSON. I thought when Noah Gray PERSON came out, it was going to be Noah Gray PERSON.

Speaker 13518.32s - 3551.86s

Kelsey PERSON had a little bit more tread left on his tires. And Gray PERSON has not kind of, Gray PERSON hadn't really taken that next step right to show that he is worthy of those targets from Patrick Mahomes PERSON so now I'm going to change focus and you know it's a fourth round rookie draft pick like there's such a dime a dozen and you drop them and add a different guy so often that he's worth putting on a taxi squad grabbing him in dynasty leaguesstashing him for you know at least the the next two years in most of these dynasty leagues, how they're set up. You can keep him for two years on the taxi squad. That's where he's going to sit. Yeah.

Speaker 23551.98s - 3556.24s

Like, so I want to see how he develops, see if he gets, gets some interest because

Speaker 13556.24s - 3574.6s

Travis Kelsey PERSON, his snap share is not going up, right? Like he is a little bit longer in the tooth, if you will, still playing at extremely high level. But, you know, if they're going to be a little bit longer in the tooth if you will still playing at extremely high level but you know if they're going to be a little bit more cautious about when they're using Travis Kelsey in the middle of the season where they don't necessarily need it

Speaker 23574.6s - 3623.56s

maybe while they get some run here so do you think because I agree with you that they're going to have to do something right to try to make sure that Travis Kelsey PERSON is available inevitably when they win the division and make it to the playoffs, that you want him at his healthiest before you play those four or five games, whatever it is. Irv Smith Jr., they brought in, you know, this offseason two. And I know that he was highly touted, you know, when he got drafted by Minnesota coming out of Alabama GPE. And he was, you know, he got drafted by Minnesota coming out of Alabama GPE.And he was never really materialized there in Minnesota GPE and has bounced around a little bit. But that to me is kind of the interesting part that makes me think that Wiley doesn't see play this year. But your strategy of throwing him on the practice squad and letting him hang out and kind of simmer for two years over there.

Speaker 13623.76s - 3631.6s

That does make sense to me. That that, that does make sense to me. That strategy makes a ton of sense to me. Yeah, I don't know. I mean, I'm not picking them up in a redraft, right?

Speaker 33631.6s - 3636.74s

But again, what my, if anybody who's drafting right now, you're drafting

Speaker 23636.74s - 3640.1s

best ball and you're drafting dynasty or rookie dynasty, right?

Speaker 13640.14s - 3643.12s

Like no one's drafting a redraft league today.

Speaker 33643.78s - 3645.2s

Or at least no league of note, right? You might be doing it because you're bored, but it's not, you're not. Like no one's drafting a redraft league today. Right.

Speaker 13647.46s - 3659.68s

Or at least no league of note, right? You might be doing it because you're bored, but it's not, you're not putting, I guess I can't imagine putting a bunch of money in at the middle of May on a redraft league.

Speaker 23659.72s - 3663.24s

Right. Don't even know what the schedule is going to be.

Speaker 13664.74s - 3664.82s

Don't tempt us.

Speaker 43666.02s - 3666.48s

We've done crazier things.

Speaker 13667s - 3672.16s

No, exactly. So, and I do like Irv Smith PERSON. He's, I feel like he's had a concentration issue in the pros, though.

Speaker 23672.9s - 3676.46s

It's like the opportunity. And a health aversion up. Yeah. He's been a little bit health adverse.

Speaker 13676.46s - 3685.8s

And when he has gotten some opportunities, he's not focusing all the way through the catch. Now, what better person to learn from than Travis

Speaker 03685.8s - 3692.86s

Kelsey right to follow and mimic and and kind of mirror his process of getting ready for games

Speaker 13692.86s - 3712.38s

and pregame ritual and you know all the things that make him such a great pro um not only for Kansas City but just in general so I think he has a great role model, if you will. Now I get at Irv Smith PERSON, a full veteran in the league. It's not like he's a 21, 22 year old wide-eyed rookie coming in.

Speaker 03712.5s - 3718.12s

But still you have that, right? It's again, Von Miller PERSON was a full-blown professional when

Speaker 13718.12s - 3761.6s

DeMarcus Ware came into Denver, but DeMarcus helped bring the best out of Vaughn PERSON. And it wasn't just about go get the passer. It was seeing the game, reading the game, you know, settle down here. This is what the quarterback's going to do or in the chief's case with this. This is what Mahomes PERSON likes to do. This is why we run these scramble drills. And in an offense where Andy Reid PERSON has been more than willing to listen to the player's ideas and implement them into the game plan.Like, this is a great place to rejuvenate your career if you feel like you've been underperforming thus far. And Irv Smith, Jr. PERSON would fall into that category at this point. Yeah.

Speaker 33761.82s - 3762.02s

Yeah.

Speaker 43762.68s - 3775.36s

So interestingly enough, right? Brandon over on YouTube said Will Anderson, Jr. and Daniel Hunter PERSON, maybe the next DeMarcus Ware and Vaughn Miller's PERSON story. Just to kind of piggyback off of.

Speaker 13775.36s - 3777.36s

Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 43777.36s - 3783.18s

Right? I mean, I think Will Anderson had a great rookie year, right?

Speaker 13783.3s - 3787.14s

And it really was. He was, and it was a quiet great rookie year, too.

Speaker 03787.26s - 3795.24s

Yes, it was. Because how the offense came on and it was Stroud and it was Collins and Dell PERSON and look what they're doing. But Will Anderson did have a great year.

Speaker 13795.36s - 3832.32s

And yes, they brought in the veteran leadership, the mentor, if you will, to kind of round out some of these things and really polish Will Anderson PERSON up to be, you know, all pro level, right? I mean, T.J. Watts the goal, right? If you're Will Anderson Jr. PERSON, right? Like, you've seen what both Watts PERSON have been able to do. Like, that's the career arc that you want as a pass rusher. Um, so I think that could absolutely work out. We'll see if history repeats itself, if you will. But I like the comp. I think it's a fair comp. All right.

Speaker 43833.12s - 3856.76s

All right. The Chargers ORG next up here, right? Then the second round, they bring in Ladd McConkey PERSON, bring in a Kamani Vidal in the sixth, and Bren Rice and Cornelius Johnson in the 7th for wide receivers. Thoughts on winners and losers for the Shages ORG. To me, it's quitting Johnson PERSON's a loser.

Speaker 13857.2s - 3857.7s

Yep.

Speaker 33858.74s - 3859.92s

Like, I get it.

Speaker 13860s - 4004.86s

They spent first round capital on him, but he is not a hardball guy. And Jim PERSON does not deal with drop passes. We saw it in San Francisco GPE. We saw it at Michigan ORG. We are going to see it here in L.A. with the Chargers ORG. Like, Quinn Johnson PERSON is going to have to figure out how to block in the run game and really make himself available because this team is going to be a little bit more run heavy. And they got some route runners around them now, right? Ladd-McConkie PERSON might be the best route runner in this draft class, just top to bottom. You know, and bread and rice, he's not a bad route runner. He probably came out a year early in all reality. Like another year in college, I think could have served him well, but I don't think USC ORG was going to be the place for him. And when you lose someone like Caleb Williams, your options are, do I transfer? Or if he doesn't want to transfer, I just go pro and take the long road to get to the big leagues. Right. So,you know, Brennan Rice PERSON, he's a guy who's been sneaking up rookie draft boards at the moment when we first started drafting a couple weeks ago or right after the draft. He was going like late fourth round. Now he's going early to middle third. So he's definitely shot up, which is interesting as a seventh round pick. But there's been some buzz on him and McCaffrey PERSON both have kind of followed that same arc in these rookie drafts as people start to read the names and oh my gosh and everything else. So I think I have I think I think I have one, Brendan Rice PERSON share. And that's it, just because I haven't, I haven't had him come to me where I'm willing to take him.Like, to me, he's not worth a third. He's worth a fourth as a seventh round rookie. Like, I just don't see a clear path to targets in an offense that I do not think is going to run the ball a whole or that I don't think is going to throw the ball a whole hell of a lot run play action that type of thing and if you're running play action you know Brennan Rice PERSON isn't necessarily the fastest wide receiver so he's not he's not going to be your deep threat there in LA GPE for the chargers yeah I've picked him up

Speaker 44004.86s - 4025.56s

in in quite a few places in the I won in the, I won't go earlier than the mid third, but I think I've taken him once in the third and a couple of times in the fours. So worth a shot, right, in the fourth round to see what you can see what you can get there. And there's certainly an opportunity for him to potentially see see the see the playing field here.

Speaker 14026.16s - 4030.42s

So. That's the beauty about the taxi squad in dinosaurs, right? Like you can,

Speaker 44030.42s - 4037.32s

you can call your shot on guys like this. And if he doesn't pan out, no one remembers. He was a fourth

Speaker 14037.32s - 4048.86s

round rookie pick. No one remembers you, you know, bring it down and you cut him after three years if he's not doing anything and you're on to the next guy. Right.

Speaker 44049.06s - 4054.06s

But if he hits, then you get a call that shot and oh my gosh, right? Absolutely.

Speaker 14054.74s - 4055.96s

And it change the face.

Speaker 44056.98s - 4058.42s

High upside play, right?

Speaker 14058.54s - 4060.38s

High upside play, zero risk.

Speaker 44061.58s - 4066.34s

Absolutely. All right. Let's go ahead and head on to the Raiders ORG unless there's any other thoughts here on the Chargers. Absolutely. All right. Let's go ahead and head on to the Raiders unless there's any

Speaker 24066.34s - 4071.38s

other thoughts here on the Chargers ORG. No, I'm about to lose my mind over here. Sorry.

Speaker 34071.82s - 4078.68s

Okay. Going into overtime. Remember how I said that I got like super intense? It was two teams

Speaker 24078.68s - 4084.1s

that I didn't care about. Well, now my team's involved. So sorry. You got you got 20 minutes.

Speaker 34084.1s - 4085.8s

20 minutes before you have to worry about it.

Speaker 24086.1s - 4091.18s

There you go. All righty. The Raiders went out and spent first round capital on Brock Bowers PERSON.

Speaker 34092.1s - 4098.72s

Yeah, they brought in a lob in the, in the six out of New Hampshire GPE as a running back.

Speaker 14099.98s - 4103.9s

Thoughts here on the, the Raiders ORG for fantasy purposes on the.

Speaker 34106.16s - 4107.86s

So, like, we don't...

Speaker 14107.86s - 4109.46s

We don't know...

Speaker 44109.46s - 4110.34s

Yeah.

Speaker 24111.66s - 4115.44s

We don't know what...

Speaker 14115.44s - 4118.38s

First off, we don't know who's starting a quarterback, right?

Speaker 44118.5s - 4121.28s

Like, that's what we need to figure out.

Speaker 24121.4s - 4122.58s

Is it going to be Aiden O'Connell PERSON?

Speaker 34122.72s - 4123.84s

Is it going to be Gardner Minshew PERSON?

Speaker 24124.62s - 4125.98s

It's Gardner Minshu, man.

Speaker 34126.48s - 4127.28s

I agree.

Speaker 24127.28s - 4129.58s

You know, the, Gardner Minchew PERSON, but like...

Speaker 44129.58s - 4140.82s

The funny thing is, real quick, just to... If you go back through and look at since Gardner Minchus left, the Jaguars ORG and Trevor Lawrence PERSON, eerily similar stat lines.

Speaker 34142.28s - 4143.1s

Early similar.

Speaker 44143.44s - 4147.58s

Similar number of games played, all of that. Just crazy. Look it up.

Speaker 24148.54s - 4152.84s

But either way, you know, both of those guys, and I'd like Bauer PERSON's a little bit more

Speaker 44152.84s - 4156.78s

if it was Aiden O'Connell PERSON that was starting.

Speaker 24156.94s - 4190.82s

I think Gardner PERSON's a little more of a gunslinger. We'll try to force feed Devante PERSON. I think that's like what's going to happen. I think Bowers will get his run too. But I'll tell you what, when the Raiders ORG made this pick, I was angered by it because I thought Denver GPE should have made it the pick in front of him.I like his landing spot there. I mean, I was going to like wherever he was going to go. Kevin's been, you know, playing on the drum for Brock Bowers for the last two years that I was convinced that he would have been a great addition to my team.

Speaker 34191.32s - 4201.02s

I still think he's going to be a good addition to any fantasy team. Although, as we've pointed out, and we haven't brought it up this episode, but we've said it in the past. Derek PERSON's a big

Speaker 24201.02s - 4225.04s

believer in this. It takes tight end, you know, a couple of years, right? It takes them, you know, two years to really figure out how to be an NFL ORG tight end. And then in year three, that's when they can finally, you know, break out of year three or year four is when they finally get to be, you know, an NFL ORG caliber tight end. It takes a while. That's the position that takes the longest to develop. So winners.

Speaker 14225.24s - 4227.08s

Unless you come out of Iowa GPE.

Speaker 24227.58s - 4250.22s

Winners in this one, give me Brock Bowers PERSON, just because I think he's going to be an instant threat there, especially with Devante Adams PERSON, taking a lot of attention away, you know, drawing linebackers and double coverage. And, you know, safeties are going to have to pay attention to where he's at, that frees up other people. So I like, I think Brock Bowers PERSON is a winner here.

Speaker 14252.32s - 4256.5s

Yeah. I don't, I didn't, he didn't go to a place where he, oh, really?

Speaker 24256.64s - 4259.16s

See, I think he didn't go to a spot where he was going to be the focal point.

Speaker 14260.26s - 4261.84s

And that works in his favor.

Speaker 34262.72s - 4272.6s

No, I just, I don't, I don't think I needed him to be the focal point, but I also don't want him to be an afterthought.

Speaker 14272.76s - 4275.56s

And I'm afraid that that's what's going to happen in, in Vegas GPE.

Speaker 24276.64s - 4279.72s

Carter likes to hyper target his number one guy.

Speaker 14280.38s - 4280.74s

Right.

Speaker 24280.86s - 4281.42s

Always has.

Speaker 14282.28s - 4285.78s

Now, Devante Adams PERSON is a great guy to hyper-target, right?

Speaker 24285.82s - 4287.14s

He is a guy who gets open.

Speaker 14287.24s - 4380.24s

He will come down with the ball. He creates separation. Like, there are a few receivers who are better to hyper-target than Devante Adams PERSON. So from that aspect, great. Jacoby Myers PERSON is still really good, right? Like, we saw that last year with these backup quarterbacks and everything else.Like, Myers is still something be dealt with as the Broncos ORG found out both games. So, I mean, Brock PERSON's there. Are they going to run, you know, is the goal to run a lot of two tight end, right? To keep Myers and Bowers on the field at times. That will be interesting. Myers PERSON is a,Myers PERSON is a better blocker, you know, right off the top. Bowers can, but he's a little bit undersized as far as a true tight end or a blocking tight end goes. So, you know, does Bowers essentially take over what, um, crap, the kid out of Clemson ORG,um, that they let go. They were paying him a ton. It doesn't matter. I'll think of it. Anyway, and play more slot, right? I mean, and maybe not a traditional slot, but I mean, kind of that out wide, tight-in type deal that Atlanta ORG does with Kyle Pitts PERSON when they're actually using him the right way type thing. So it's interesting, but I do think it definitely stunted his fantasy appeal for me going to the Raiders ORG. One of the winners, though, Zimmer White PERSON.

Speaker 34382.56s - 4387.16s

Like, I think Zeus PERSON, I think Zeus was a winner here. They didn't really, you know,

Speaker 14387.24s - 4417.28s

bring up anybody. Yes, he's going to split some carries and all that good stuff. But he's, he showed that he could do it last year. He got his chance and he was able to make something of it. So I think that's good for Zeus PERSON. Um, you know, other than that, I don't know that there's a whole lot of fantasy relevance that came out of Vegas GPE. But, you know, nevertheless, they got some offensive line help, which is only going to help your quarterback. So that should help your skill position players as well.Yeah, I would agree.

Speaker 44418.08s - 4444.72s

All right. On to Miami GPE, where they really didn't add much of note, right? Jalen Wright's in the fourth round, Malik Washington with a sixth round, Tajay, Washington in the seventh round. And really kind of all of these guys,I think Jalen Wright PERSON has the best chance to make his way all the way up to a third stringer. Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 14444.72s - 4518.16s

Jalen PERSON writes, you know, Rahim Moster is 31, I believe, coming into this NFL ORG season. So, I mean, he's not, he's not going to play too terribly much longer, I wouldn't assume, just based off the career arc of running backs in the NFL ORG. But, you know, give them a year or two to learn. Obviously, A-chan's there. So they'll split duties, but Miami showed that you can feed two running backs in this system. And when it's working well, two running backs can both be extremely successful. So I don't mind the spot for Wright PERSON.I think he's, you know, an interesting stash play. Again, I'm not looking to start him right away. But, you know, if you're just looking to acquire some running back depth and you feel like you're good in other places, you know, I've seen him go anywhere from mid-second to mid-third is kind of where I've seen right go.So it's not terrible. And for what Miami GPE can do, they do help that position produce, right? So, I mean, when he does get his opportunity, volume will be good. See if he can make the most of his eight to 10 touches, 12 touches per game once he gets onto the field.

Speaker 24519.26s - 4536.36s

Yeah, this draft didn't really do much for me in terms of what I thought of Miami GPE. So no real winners, no real losers. I think this team is still going to be a force to be reckoned with in the fantasy world. Fair enough.

Speaker 44537s - 4565.56s

On to Miami GPE. I'm sorry, off of Miami, onto New England, where they drafted Drake May, third overall. They also went out and got Jeline Polk with a second round draft pick, Javon Baker with a fourth round draft pick, and Joe Milton with a six and Jemai Bell with a seventh for the tight end there. So they kind of loaded up here on some skill positions, thoughts on New England's

Speaker 14565.56s - 4571.02s

draft. It's always interesting when you bring in a defensive-minded head coach and he goes

Speaker 24571.02s - 4577.44s

offensive heavy in the draft. Now, I think it's a clear sign that they realize where their

Speaker 14577.44s - 4583.82s

deficiencies were, right? The defense, the defense for New England LOC wasn't half bad. It really

Speaker 24583.82s - 4605.08s

wasn't. But the offense just could not get things going. So obviously, May is going to be the catalyst for that. So we're going to see how things shake out there. I like Jalen Polk and giving him a weapon or giving Drake May a weapon. I think the two of them will be able to kind of grow together. So, yeah, I'm definitely not afraid to grab some Jalen Polk PERSON there

Speaker 14605.08s - 4643.28s

in the middle to late of the second round in rookie drafts. I've been happy with with a couple pieces of that that I've seen. You know, and they grab some offensive offensive linemen, right? The tackle out of Penn State and the guard out of A&M ORG to kind of help protect their young quarterback. So I do think that they did a good job providing a baseline for a nucleus within this draft. Right. Now, not all of them are guaranteed hits, but the idea is there, right? And I think they had the right thought process of how they're going to start to rebuild and revamp this offense and make it relevant for 2024's NFL ORG.

Speaker 24651.68s - 4660.08s

I think the big winner in this whole thing is Ramadre Stevenson PERSON, right? They did all of the offensive positions that they picked, not one of them was a running back. So Remandre Stevenson, here's the key.

Speaker 14660.18s - 4661.54s

You're not scared of Antonio Gibson PERSON?

Speaker 24662.04s - 4668.72s

Not terribly. But like of those two, I mean, those two guys, right?

Speaker 14668.8s - 4669.7s

Like, those are the two.

Speaker 24669.92s - 4709.26s

Like, here's the keys. And you know, you know that's, if you don't get Ramandre Stevenson PERSON, you know that Antonio Gibson PERSON's a good handcuff. Or, you know, if you do have Ramondre Stevenson PERSON, you know Gibson PERSON's a good handcuff if you want to stay and play that game, which is probably a good topic for another day,is if there's any good true handcuff options in the league. We'll talk about that later. But I do think that Ramadre Stevenson PERSON is kind of the big winner here, especially if you're going to have a young quarterback who needs to, you know, rely on a run game to help him, you know, open up a passing game.Fair enough.

Speaker 44710.02s - 4715.06s

And who knows, they could, they could end up just moving Antonio Gibson PERSON out to wide receiver yet again, right?

Speaker 24715.06s - 4753.08s

Like, this receiving core, that, that's a possibility for sure. With this receiving core, and this receiving core is kind of the same as, who was I talking about earlier that kind of had the resurrections, if you will, Cleveland ORG. This receiving core is another group of guys that good should have been better than they were, especially, you know, their second and third stringers. They got K.J. Osborne, Tyquan Thornton, T.J. Luther, Juju, Smith-Schuster, Jalen Rieger PERSON. Like, those are dudes that were pretty highly touted when they came into the league and justhaven't really worked out.

Speaker 14753.96s - 4756.36s

It's Hulk and Pop Douglas.

Speaker 24756.92s - 4760s

I think you're going to be your top of you guys here, right?

Speaker 14760.9s - 4762.04s

Kendrick Bourne PERSON, right?

Speaker 24762.28s - 4764.3s

Coming off a really good season, honestly.

Speaker 14764.3s - 4765.62s

Born did before the injury. And I think that's what scares me is the injury with Bourne PERSON and right? Coming off a really good season, honestly. Bourne did before the injury.

Speaker 24765.82s - 4767.96s

And I think that's what scares me is the injury with Bourne

Speaker 14767.96s - 4774.3s

and whether he's able to bounce back. But you still got Hunter Henry PERSON there. So that's a good thing. You got a good pass catching tight end.

Speaker 24774.56s - 4786s

A little security blanket for Drake May PERSON there. Austin Cooper PERSON, another good past catching tight end there as well. Like that's nice. Security blankets for a young quarterbacker great. Yeah.

Speaker 14786.16s - 4791.98s

So I do expect more out of New England's offense this year. We'll see how much more we actually get, but I do expect more.

Speaker 44792.46s - 4794.14s

Fair enough.

Speaker 14794.94s - 4798.22s

On to the Jets who went out and added Malachi Corley,

Speaker 44798.82s - 4815.6s

Braylon Allen, Jordan Davis, Isaiah, I'm sorry, Jordan Travis, Isaiah Davis PERSON, all in the draft there. So adding a couple of running backs for some depth behind Breece Hall, and then Malachi PERSON, Charlie, and Jordan Travis, thoughts here on the Jets ORG draft.

Speaker 24816.72s - 4846.52s

Didn't like this landing spot for Isaiah Davis PERSON. He went into a pretty crowded situation. I think he's a good running back. It's going to be tough for him to get on the field there. I don't know. I don't want to think that the Jets ORG will be good, but they do have Aaron Rogers. And whatever you think of that guy off the field, he was still pretty good when healthy. So I don't know what to think of this team. I don't want them to be good, but maybe they will be.

Speaker 14847.78s - 4849.9s

I think they're going to create some noise, right?

Speaker 24850s - 4852.44s

If Rogers PERSON can stay healthy, I think they'll create some noise.

Speaker 14852.56s - 4931.56s

I think I think Corley is going to do a good job kind of playing that number two role, stepping into there. Now, Rogers PERSON does not trust rookie receivers right away, right? So Corley's going to have to come out and really show that he understands what what rogers is thinking right and and and really we haven't really seen this with with anybody on the jet's roster right four snaps in and then the fifth was an achilles so it was, thanks, Alex PERSON.You know, we really haven't seen how any of this chemistry works. It's still the Jets, like, you know, we're going to see a lot of running the football, but with it being Aaron Rogers, he will check out of whatever he doesn't like to, to run the play that he feels like his best. So I definitely, I definitely want a piece of this offense with Aaron Rogers attached. We found out last year that, you know, Garrett Wilson PERSON is good, but he was not nearly as good without Aaron Rogers. And it was, it was definitely a bummer for those of us whotook Wilson in, whether it was the late first or early second round last year, and then completely had that pick blown up in our face, five plays in.

Speaker 24931.96s - 4941.64s

Here's your prop bet. When it's all sudden done, who has more targets at the end of the year? Malachi Corley, Alan Lazard PERSON. Corley PERSON.

Speaker 14943.36s - 4943.84s

Yeah.

Speaker 24946.72s - 4948.92s

I think he's going to get the opportunity I think he gets the opportunity too

Speaker 14948.92s - 4949.7s

but like

Speaker 24949.7s - 4956.06s

you know that Lazard PERSON's going to get on the field just because there's a familiarity there with 12

Speaker 44956.06s - 4959.68s

yeah but you're talking about 40 to 50 targets at most

Speaker 14959.68s - 4966.24s

because Lazzard PERSON didn't even really get targeted in Green Bay it was was just familiar, right?

Speaker 34966.34s - 4972.06s

It's to help beat Rogers PERSON language. Yep.

Speaker 14972.18s - 4979.54s

So we'll see how that goes. But I like the Corley PERSON. I've been picking up a decent amount of him, seeing how this goes. And really, I like the Jordan Travis pick in the fifth.

Speaker 04980.1s - 4982.38s

I don't think the Jets ORG are getting enough credit for this.

Speaker 14984.1s - 4990.36s

You know, he's in no, there's no threat that he's going to be the replacement for Aaron Rogers,

Speaker 34990.68s - 4992.4s

especially coming off the injury.

Speaker 14992.4s - 5025.66s

But you got to bring in somebody behind Rogers PERSON. They saw that they didn't love their backup options last year. So you might as well get a guy who played really well at florida state GPE before the injury um and see if what nuggets he can pick up right it really worked for jordan love jordan davis PERSON isn't going to be given that long of a shelf life right like i think this is a two or three year at most play so jordan davis PERSON as long as he shows the franchise, anything,

Speaker 05026.02s - 5033.62s

will be able to be able to play on this rookie contract, most likely.

Speaker 15034.66s - 5034.74s

Yeah.

Speaker 45035.64s - 5052.02s

Fair enough. On to Pittsburgh, where they brought him Roman Wilson PERSON, really was it in the draft here. Thoughts on the Steelers ORG. I like what they did on the offensive line.

Speaker 15052.34s - 5125.08s

I think they realized that they had struggles. They were not running the ball very well. Tomlin PERSON clearly wanted that addressed, and he got that done spending the first two rounds on offensive linemen. So between that and they declined Naji's fifth year options. So maybe that means a motivated Naji, a better offensive line.Do we see him kind of rebound a little bit? So I do think that's interesting. And then Roman Wilson PERSON, I think it's a good play, right? You don't have Deontay Johnson PERSON anymore. Kenny, or excuse me, George Pickens is going to be the alpha there, but Roma Wilson PERSON's going to be able to step in and really fight for a number two wide receiver spot therein Pittsburgh ORG. And, you know, with all indicators that Russ is going to be the starter in Pittsburgh ORG, Russ PERSON will look for him, right? Like Russ PERSON, Russ doesn't hyper-target his alpha. He does look off and then play to the number two a decent amount. So if Rome Wilson's able to step up and be number two on that depth chart,we'll see some decent run out of him here, even in his rookie campaign. Yeah, I would agree with that.

Speaker 45126.38s - 5130.58s

All right. Any of the thoughts on Pittsburgh ORG? We're ready to head on to Tennessee ORG.

Speaker 25131.02s - 5149.72s

I hope that it is a, a nausea Harris, scorch it down tour, right? Like, for everybody that's got nausea shares, like, hopefully this is the year. You get the new O-Line, right? You get the retooled O' line. And I hope that that's what happens. That's the year. You get the new O-Line, right? You get the retooled O-line. I hope that that's what happens. That's the result.

Speaker 35151.64s - 5152.4s

Fair enough.

Speaker 45153.26s - 5167.86s

All right. Well, Tennessee went out and added Jaquan Jackson in the sixth, wide receiver. Thoughts here on Tennessee ORG and the winners and losers out of this draft class. Will Love us as a winner.

Speaker 15168.2s - 5218.98s

They didn't bring anybody in to really push him. So I think there's your winner. And really, they did their damage in free agency. They brought in Calvin Ridley. They just brought in Tyler Boyd PERSON. You know, they brought in Tony Pollard PERSON.So they got C.J. Latham there out of Alabama GPE to help with some of the offensive line issues that they've been having here over the last couple of years. I'm surprised that they only brought in one offensive lineman. I really thought we would have seen another one, another one come into the fold. But, you know, they got, you know, the best one available at seven with Joe Alt PERSON already being gone. So we'll see how this shakes out.But they did their damage in free agency. So I don't really see anything that sticks out as good, better, and different as far as fantasy purposes through the draft. Yeah.

Speaker 25219.22s - 5224.38s

This is a team that is a work in progress. Fair enough.

Speaker 45224.84s - 5236.2s

Who do you think has more wins? Tennessee or the Broncos ORG? Alex PERSON is still thinking on that one.

Speaker 25236.52s - 5260.78s

I'm just looking at division. Man, I think both of them finish last in their division or or fighting for last in the division um yeah i'll take denver PERSON i'm a fan still fair enough all right

Speaker 45260.78s - 5265.32s

well guys that one game difference like i don't think it's not. It's not.

Speaker 25265.36s - 5265.94s

It's not. Games, right?

Speaker 15266.62s - 5268.92s

You know, if it is like seven and six,

Speaker 25268.92s - 5270.72s

we're talking with the Broncos having seven.

Speaker 45270.86s - 5271.5s

Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 25271.74s - 5273.62s

So I don't think there's much of a difference.

Speaker 45274.96s - 5275.76s

Fair enough.

Speaker 25276.98s - 5277.44s

All right.

Speaker 45277.52s - 5279.86s

Well, any other thoughts here on any of the,

Speaker 25279.86s - 5280.38s

the winners,

Speaker 45280.48s - 5281.32s

losers of the drafts?

Speaker 25281.32s - 5284.14s

Anybody that we didn't bring up that we want to hit up or?

Speaker 45286.28s - 5287.08s

No, I think so.

Speaker 35287.14s - 5291.48s

I think we kind of went through at least the highlighted skill position players, right?

Speaker 25291.6s - 5293.98s

Yeah, we touched on some offensive linemen what that's going to look like.

Speaker 05294.04s - 5296.18s

But I think we touched on all the relevant skill position players.

Speaker 45296.4s - 5297.8s

So it'll be interesting.

Speaker 15297.94s - 5316.84s

Get in through rookie camp, see how many of these guys can quickly digest the playbook. And then once we get into, you know, the real mini camp and preseason and kind of see what names pop out that maybe we weren't giving enough credit, you know, there's always, there's always a dark horse.
