Now is a good time to remember where the story of tequila started. In 1795, the first tequila distillery was opened by the Cuervo PERSON family. And 229 years later, Quervo ORG is still going strong. Family owned from the start, same family, same land. Now's a good time to enjoy Cuervo PERSON. The tequila that invented tequila.Go to quervo.com ORG to shop tequila or visit a store near you. Cuervo PERSON, now's a good time. Trademarks owned by Becler, SAB ORG, the CV. Copyright 2024. Jersey City, New Jersey24 GPE. Proximo. Jersey City, New Jersey GPE.Please drink responsibly.

Speaker 1287.88s - 91.2s

This is the Dan Levator show with the Stugats ORG podcast.

Speaker 1495.36s - 110.56s

I have denied, and Stugats and WFAT have denied Zaslow, Roy, and Chris Cody PERSON. Their rightful earned place to celebrate some six-to-one victory over the Boston Bruins ORG.

Speaker 0110.56s - 145.4s

I will welcome in Rohan Nodkarni, formerly of Sports Illustrated, who's now doing for GQ Sports, the Jimmy Butler article from the weekend at the Miami GPE Grand Prix with some quotes about him loving Miami and wanting to stay in Miami. We will get to him in a second. But go ahead, Chris and Zaslow and Roy PERSON. The floor is yours after Juan Pierre bang the drum last night. JP PERSON. And then your team, you know, blows out the Bruins ORG in what was a desperate, important gameand looks more like the team you've seen all year because they're annoying and gritty. And everyone else.

Speaker 16145.4s - 146.28s

We're just better than them.

Speaker 14146.32s - 150.94s

Everyone else in hockey hates the Panthers ORG because of how they play. We're just better than them.

Speaker 16151.08s - 154.98s

Last night was literally how the Panthers have played the entire season.

Speaker 14155.06s - 157.26s

Like I didn't recognize that team from game one.

Speaker 16157.4s - 193.24s

Our defense was terrible. And even last night when we were down one nothing, and I'm a disaster during Panther ORG playoff games. I am. I'm on the during Panther ORG playoff games. I am. I'm on the verge of vomit the entire 60 minutes. But even after the first period yesterday, we're down 1-0-0, I'm like, we totally outplayed them.I feel totally fine. We're going to be fine. And then we kick their ass. Like, last night was so much closer to, I believe, what this series is going to look like. I don't think it's a long series. I think we're going to win both games in Boston GPE,and we're going to finish this thing out in game five in Sunrise GPE. Madison Square Garden, how about Ammon Bank Arena FAC?

Speaker 9193.54s - 194.72s

Did you see last night? Oh, it was popping.

Speaker 15196.22s - 204.18s

Well, the best thing that Paul Maurice could have done was change the lineups in the second period, putting the lines in the blender, because that lineup that he brought out there in game one.

Speaker 6204.5s - 209.28s

Bread and butter. He tried to change it up the first game in this series. Yeah, it didn't work.

Speaker 15209.34s - 221.66s

He said that that lineup came out at the end of game five of the first round. And it worked then. It did not work for four periods during this series. And we still have Bennett and Lomburg PERSON in the holster.

Speaker 16221.78s - 223.8s

Bennett's going to be back one of these games.

Speaker 14223.98s - 226.46s

Didn't you trade Barkoff PRODUCT the last time you were in the studio?

Speaker 16226.66s - 228.16s

A year ago. A year ago.

Speaker 14228.28s - 234.1s

Yo, don't worry about that. I was in. I was sitting in this seat a year ago. I've been very honest and upfront about that.

Speaker 17234.36s - 258.22s

Look, sports talk shows, they love being right. Most of them like being right at the expense of their team suffering because they want to be right. I'd rather be wrong. And I was dead wrong. And my team ends up benefiting from it. I'm very sorry, Sasha. I love you so much. I love Sergey Bobrovsky PERSON. I told him to get the hell out of my city. And I also called Paul Maurice the murderer of fun.I've never had more fun in my life. One year ago you did this. That's right.

Speaker 16258.8s - 265.72s

The murder of fun. Put it on the poll. Please, that levittar show show is Paul Maurice the murder of fun. He's not, though.

Speaker 17265.76s - 267.92s

He's not. Everybody was wrong about that last

Speaker 16267.92s - 269.92s

season. I'm okay with being wrong. I'm okay

Speaker 14269.92s - 272s

with being wrong. Can we put that in the

Speaker 16272s - 273.52s

poll? Are you okay with being wrong?

Speaker 17274.64s - 275.68s

No one is.

Speaker 16275.76s - 277.88s

Not a strength for sports opining.

Speaker 17278.22s - 279.92s

Definitely not. I think Witty PERSON's take

Speaker 16279.92s - 281.74s

on the Panthers ORG was still worse, though, right?

Speaker 17281.94s - 283.8s

Oh, could shook with his empty

Speaker 13283.8s - 285.5s

stats? Get the hell out of here.

Speaker 14286.12s - 289.32s

The man's a hundred point score every single season.

Speaker 16289.32s - 290.6s

He said that was the worst trade in the past.

Speaker 15290.6s - 291.06s

Oh, my God.

Speaker 16291.16s - 291.82s

He is the best.

Speaker 15292.36s - 293.22s

I love him so much.

Speaker 16293.4s - 297.06s

You see, like, the camera was on him, and he's talking to the other bench there.

Speaker 15297.32s - 300.82s

And Pasta PERSON, oh, please, coach, can I please fight? Can I fight Matthew PERSON? Kachuk PERSON.

Speaker 16301.42s - 305.9s

I already told you what Posternak PERSON can do if he wants to fight somebody. Huberto PERSON would never. But Kachuk PERSON, oh, Mike. And Kachuk doesn't fight. Why are youosternak can do if he wants to fight somebody. Hubert O would never. But Kachuk, all my... And Kachuk

Speaker 14305.9s - 310.08s

doesn't fight. Why are you threatening to fight hockey players? Like, what's the... I'll fight

Speaker 16310.08s - 311.68s

I'll fight him too. Because we're in the mix here.

Speaker 13311.78s - 312.84s

We're in this thing.

Speaker 16312.84s - 313.68s

What doesn't matter with you?

Speaker 13313.82s - 315.26s

It sounds like me and Sidney Krosby PERSON.

Speaker 15315.54s - 317.92s

Oh, God, Roy. Don't bring Sidney Crosby PERSON.

Speaker 14318.28s - 320.04s

Chris came in very confident today.

Speaker 15320.14s - 321.88s

In fact, so confident that when he

Speaker 13321.88s - 323.98s

said hi to Mad Dog PERSON... We don't have to do this.

Speaker 15324.7s - 325.86s

Look, I have so...

Speaker 17325.86s - 329.3s

The oddest hello in the history of a lows.

Speaker 7329.42s - 336.32s

I have struggled with a lot of things, if we're being honest, but I've struggled to the greeting of guests before they go on air.

Speaker 13336.4s - 338.84s

I have not perfected yet because you want to sound natural.

Speaker 17339.02s - 339.96s

You want to sound relaxed.

Speaker 13339.96s - 341.68s

So this was natural for you?

Speaker 17341.78s - 347.74s

Well, I asked video to get this for me because of how awkward it seemed right before we went on the air.

Speaker 7347.78s - 349.54s

And I wish we had started this way.

Speaker 17349.94s - 355.54s

Let's listen to the host, really just welcoming you into our home, Chris Cody PERSON.

Speaker 7355.92s - 356.92s

What's up, doggy?

Speaker 14358.94s - 360.04s

I don't know what.

Speaker 3360.16s - 361.48s

I don't know where that voice.

Speaker 14362.52s - 364.96s

Next time we have them on, you yourself say, doggy.

Speaker 8365.16s - 366.08s

What's up, doggy?

Speaker 17366.26s - 367.06s

He sounds like John Wayne PERSON.

Speaker 8367.06s - 368.72s

Or just hello how you do it.

Speaker 17368.72s - 369.32s

Am I a robot?

Speaker 8369.62s - 371.36s

No, no, Roy PERSON's got it.

Speaker 14371.42s - 372.34s

It's John Wayne PERSON.

Speaker 8372.64s - 377.2s

There's definitely some moseying going on as you approach doggy.

Speaker 16377.32s - 377.78s

What's up?

Speaker 14377.9s - 378.3s

Doggy.

Speaker 8378.54s - 381.74s

What's up, doggy? God, I cannot listen to that.

Speaker 14381.74s - 394.44s

I want you guys to imagine in an old West LOC saloon. Chris Russo is at the piano as Chris Cody PERSON walks in. What's up, doggy? Got a toothpick in his mouth.

Speaker 5394.44s - 396.18s

He's wearing boots.

Speaker 16396.42s - 398.36s

There's sawdust on the floor.

Speaker 14398.5s - 399.98s

Followed it up by asking for a whiskey.

Speaker 5400.24s - 401.24s

What's up, doggy?

Speaker 16402.32s - 403.32s

All right, we can stop.

Speaker 8404.52s - 405s

It sounds like there should be like a little banjo playing. What's up, doggy? All right, we can stop.

Speaker 16407.14s - 407.22s

It sounds like there should be like a little banjo playing.

Speaker 13408.22s - 409.5s

What's up, doggy?

Speaker 8412.36s - 412.72s

Juan Pierre last night bangs the drum,

Speaker 14414.14s - 419.06s

90s Marlin. Look at the smile on Roy PERSON's face, gets the crowd fired up.

Speaker 7419.88s - 419.98s

And he was great at it.

Speaker 14421.8s - 424.26s

I've criticized others. Marino was terrible at it last season,

Speaker 17425.68s - 425.8s

but JP PERSON brought it. Juan Pierre is a guy that will make you smile every time you see him, right? I don criticized others. You know, Marino was terrible at it last season, but JP brought it.

Speaker 7428.4s - 429.02s

Juan Pierre PERSON is a guy that will make you smile every time you see him, right?

Speaker 17429.48s - 429.96s

I don't smile.

Speaker 14431.52s - 432.26s

Put it on the poll, please, Juju PERSON.

Speaker 9432.8s - 463.98s

All my lips. Does Juan Pierre PERSON make all your lips smile when he appears? Can we just analyze for a second, I believe, making this a little more macro for the audience. Let's just say, hypothetically, that they're not paying attention to any Panthers hockey. What idiots. They're paying attention to hockey in general, and they know that over the last two years, Boston was better. Last year, is a one seed, and then in a seven-game series, Florida beats them as an eight-seed. Then they play five times this season, and Boston GPE wins every time.

Speaker 0464.8s - 470.26s

And then you get to a place where the first game is 5-1 and the second game is 6-1.

Speaker 9470.44s - 474.02s

And you're saying Florida ORG is just the better team.

Speaker 0474.26s - 477.18s

Okay, I understand that you're saying that they are.

Speaker 14477.94s - 480.72s

And that you guys believe that they are, that's correct.

Speaker 16480.82s - 485.02s

Over the regular season, they had, and again, they had one more point than the Bruins ORG,

Speaker 0485.08s - 488.36s

and the Bruins beat them all five times they played this year.

Speaker 9488.78s - 494.02s

So if I put any playoff series in front of you that you're not paying attention to,

Speaker 0494.02s - 498.74s

and I say to you, one of the games went five one this way, and the other one went six one this way,

Speaker 7498.82s - 503.34s

and then the homers appeared and said the second game was the more representative one.

Speaker 17503.58s - 505.18s

The first one doesn't count at all.

Speaker 7505.26s - 512.7s

It doesn't matter. The second game is truer. You guys would dismiss that person saying you're ignorant. You haven't been watching this team all year.

Speaker 16513.36s - 524.2s

Yeah, but what I would say also is the Panthers were off for a week before that game won. The Panthers also played their worst offensive game that maybe I've seen this year.

Speaker 0524.6s - 576.78s

Aaron Eckblad PERSON probably had the worst game of his career. And so if I'm going to weigh the two games, the way that we played last night was so much closer to what we've looked like the entire season. That game one is not at all what we've looked like the entire season. And matter of fact, you go to the entire first round series for Boston against Toronto GPE. I mean, they couldn't score against Toronto GPE.And all I'm hearing going into the game last night is how swam in this, swaying that, riding a hot goalie. Brickwall ran his ass early in the third period. All this talk about swaying and the Panthers ORG can't solve him and he hasn't given up more than two goals in a game this postseason. Now?Oh, we got a goalie situation in Boston GPE. Now we got a problem. I'm sorry. The Panthers ORG in control right now. You know what? I'm not sorry.Panthers ORG are in control right now.

Speaker 7577.24s - 580.16s

How do we feel about the FU Boston ORG chance going in the arena? I don't know.

Speaker 16580.28s - 588.44s

I felt a little mean to me. It's fine. I don't like it. Cras. Yeah, I mean, we weren't saying FU. We were saying the word, Dan PERSON. And there's children there. I don't know. I didn't like it to me. It's fine. I don't like it. It's fine. Crass. Yeah, I mean, we weren't saying F you. We were saying the word, Dan. And there's children there. I don't know. I didn't like it.

Speaker 14588.44s - 590.84s

They were doing the same thing in Madison Square Garden last night.

Speaker 7590.88s - 592.46s

Yes, they were. I didn't like that either.

Speaker 14592.64s - 593.62s

There weren't any kids there, though.

Speaker 7594.12s - 597.36s

So you were just, you think it's too coarse that we don't need?

Speaker 14597.74s - 599.78s

I was just in it. I'm like, look, we're up 6-1.

Speaker 7599.94s - 605.5s

Like, like, Zaz PERSON says, I think this is going to be, like, I don't think we're going to struggle in this series too much. It just felt a little beneath us.

Speaker 16605.72s - 610.58s

So there was fighting going on on the ice. You were upset about the words. That's right.

Speaker 17611.22s - 615.82s

Well, we're used to that, though. We're used to the fighting on the ice. Did you apologize and take it back one second later?

Speaker 16615.9s - 622.3s

Yeah, really stupid to apologize to that because I wasn't sorry at all. I'm not going to apologize for that.

Speaker 14622.96s - 628.6s

You're finding, you're very, you're amped up, you're emotional, you're craig.

Speaker 16628.68s - 636.8s

It's my drugs. These playoff games are my drug. I'm a fiend for it. It's my, the anxiety I feel during these games, I'm on drugs.

Speaker 14636.92s - 638.08s

I want to be high all the time.

Speaker 0638.66s - 645.8s

You're crazed, and you came in here a great deal hotter in volume than you did the last time that you were here.

Speaker 14646s - 651.4s

That you're, it's clearly that playoff, it's clear that playoff hockey is sort of soaked into everything.

Speaker 16651.4s - 651.42s

He's the last.

Speaker 17651.58s - 654.48s

You know, but I already told you.

Speaker 16655.22s - 656.36s

Enough bringing that up.

Speaker 14656.44s - 657.18s

I already told you.

Speaker 16657.22s - 662.94s

I was wrong and I'm glad that I was wrong about it. I repented for that. I was wrong. Stop bringing up. It's not already.

Speaker 14663.24s - 681.96s

Let me see the Jalen Ramsey PERSON video last night because this is always a cool thing that happens locally when all the sports teams start gathering around because they want to be near some of the action that's heightened stakes.Let's see Jalen Ramsey PERSON last night at the Panther ORG game. How are you

Speaker 9681.96s - 698.42s

fucking about? I won. Brees a monster. How are you fucking about? 5-1. Fliin' out. Yeah. I'm gonna go home.

Speaker 14698.52s - 702.02s

Look, everybody clearing out, they're sweet.

Speaker 13702.94s - 704.8s

They need to go on home so well.

Speaker 16704.96s - 705.54s

That was losers.

Speaker 14706.42s - 713.54s

What is second place to coolest sound in sports than a prolonged goalhorn at home?

Speaker 16713.68s - 721.48s

Like what finishes in second place to a sound that will move you and will escalate however it is that you're already feeling about your team?

Speaker 14721.6s - 722.34s

Crack of a bat.

Speaker 7722.72s - 725.74s

A long horn followed by Mamba number five.

Speaker 14725.82s - 726.62s

Oh, what a night.

Speaker 7729.88s - 783.46s

Folks, Mother's Day is around the corner and let me talk to you about 1,800 flowers. I can't wait every year to tradition. Our Panther ORG group chat, we're confident against the lightning. This is a different team. You're a Panther ORG group chat, though. No, I think, no, but dude, you're so wrong on that.

Speaker 14783.52s - 799.36s

We've been terrified of this team forever, and I think there's a different energy where the Panthers ORG, they want the lightning. Stugats. I want T-shirts made for this Panther ORG run. What could be this panther run? Our Panther ORG group chat, we're not afraid of the lightning. That's a tagline

Speaker 12799.36s - 801.54s

for World RR3. This is the Dan Lebatar show with the Stugats ORG. World RAR 3 EVENT.

Speaker 14804.76s - 827.44s

This is the Dan Levitar show with the Stugats ORG. Rohan PERSON, you've been very patient back there. Oh, yeah. Thank you for joining us. Thank you for writing the article in GQ Sports about Jimmy Butler PERSON. Welcome to the show. What is the synopsis for people who no longer read?

Speaker 10831.18s - 831.34s

Yeah, I drank some coffee with Jimmy Butler PERSON. He was really enjoying himself.

Speaker 17836.56s - 837.46s

How is the coffee? I think it's great. Shout out to his personal breast of Rodney PERSON.

Speaker 10840.24s - 843.52s

That guy's whipped him some great coffee. Talk about Rodney PERSON?

Speaker 13844.76s - 858.88s

How many did you drink? I had three coffees totaling six shots of espresso before lunch. I was sweating, truly sweating my ass off the entire time. Jimmy Butler was like at eight cappuccinos though before noon, which was truly absurd.

Speaker 0859.68s - 861.38s

Yeah, he just drank a lot of coffee.

Speaker 2861.5s - 868.24s

I got to follow him around, hang out with him at F1 ORG, and then at the very end, just asked him a little bit about his basketball career.

Speaker 0869.04s - 869.88s

Just a little bit, though.

Speaker 13869.88s - 870.46s

Just a little bit.

Speaker 10870.58s - 880s

And that was after he roasted you for being sweaty. Yes, that's after the first thing he did when he saw me was, why are you sweating like that? Before even, like, shaking my hand or anything, he's like, why are you sweating like that?

Speaker 7880.46s - 881.24s

And why were you?

Speaker 10881.66s - 888.7s

Listen, I don't get chauffered in golf carts from my car to the paddock area. You know, I don't get the Jimmy Butler PERSON treatment.

Speaker 13888.88s - 906.66s

You were roughing it like a journalist out there. Okay, that's not true because I actually was walking through the paddock and I saw Jimmy Butler and I was like, oh, it's Jimmy Butler PERSON. And then right next to him is Rohan PERSON. And I was like, Ro PERSON, what's up? And he gave me a hug and was like, hey, good to see you.I got to go. Big time. He didn't even introduce me to Jimmy PERSON. He kept walking.

Speaker 10906.76s - 908.76s

A sweaty hug? It was a little sweaty.

Speaker 13908.88s - 919.32s

I have an image to maintain, you know. Had no time for me. I don't want to be singling with the normal media folk. With our show. Yeah, exactly. Rodney PERSON.

Speaker 14920.24s - 920.9s

There it is.

Speaker 10921.2s - 923s

He's got his personal barista.

Speaker 14923.36s - 923.68s

Yes.

Speaker 10923.94s - 930.36s

Rodney's there working in the big face coffee truck, which was on site in the VIP area of this F1 ORG race.

Speaker 14930.5s - 931.58s

So Jimmy PERSON went there to hang out.

Speaker 10932.54s - 937.48s

Oh, God. Can we go back to What's Up Doggy instead of Rodney PERSON?

Speaker 14939.56s - 940.96s

So he wants to stay in Miami GPE.

Speaker 10941.12s - 942.08s

What's up, doggy?

Speaker 13942.08s - 949.22s

At the, towards the end of the day, I asked Jimmy PERSON, I said, is the plan still to

Speaker 10949.22s - 953.04s

retire in a Miami heat journey? You know, I did a story with him before the season. That's

Speaker 13953.04s - 975.42s

what he said. I said, is that still the plan? And he said, yes, for sure. You know, no, is that, that's no equivocation, right? That's not with the equivocation. That's, yeah, unequivocally said, yes, for sure, I want to stay in Miami GPE. And then went on to say that, you know, he loves Miami. He feels like the city's embraced him, the team's embraced him. And that, you know, his motivation is to bring a championship back to the city.

Speaker 10975.52s - 976.5s

What's up, Rodney PERSON?

Speaker 8978.36s - 985.06s

Anything else that you took from this because you were spending the weekend with him before Pat Riley PERSON says if you're not playing,

Speaker 14986.02s - 986.38s

how about you shut your mouth?

Speaker 10986.82s - 1017s

Yes. I mean, I think what I took away, you know, in addition to the basketball stuff, is how much he seems comfortable. You know, you see a lot of famous people milling around that paddock at the F1 ORG races, and they're all in their little bubbles kind of moving from VIP area to VIP area as quickly as possible, whereas Jimmy PERSON's like stopping with people. They're asking about basketball. They're asking about coffee. He's stopping to take photos. He's goofing around a lot. I think he seems, I think he seems very comfortable in that environment.

Speaker 141017.62s - 1024.38s

Rodney PERSON. And you think what of what happened with Pat Riley PERSON? I don't imagine that that lands particularly well.

Speaker 101027.3s - 1073.16s

I, you know, I'm sure it's not fun. I think what I make of it is that there's a lot of frustration. I think there's a lot of frustration obviously from the organization about how the season ended and just how the season went. We know know it to get too nerdy about it, but they're like one of three or four teams all year that only had two lineups that played over 100 minutes together. I think it was an incredibly frustrating season for everyone involved. And I think Jimmy Butler likely feels the same way. He wanted to be out there in the first round. I know the comments he made made a stir, but what he said to me was we can't go out like that. I don't think he enjoys losing to Boston GPE in five games. And I don't imagine, of all people, Pat Riley enjoys losing to Boston in the manner that they did. So what I make of it is just kind of a lingering frustration of how this whole year went. I do think it's kind of

Speaker 51073.16s - 1081.14s

funny the way that a lot of media that isn't around the heat often has perceived what Riley PERSON said

Speaker 161081.14s - 1087.68s

and the confrontation. Not only does he do it every postseason. He does it privately too.

Speaker 51087.8s - 1089.96s

He does it privately, he does it publicly, and

Speaker 141089.96s - 1091.86s

particularly with Jimmy Butler PERSON.

Speaker 51092.16s - 1102.02s

The thing that Jimmy has said that he loves about the Miami Heat ORG is that Spoh and Riley PERSON are as insane and competitive as he is. This is nothing new from year to year. Remember when they had

Speaker 161102.02s - 1110.42s

the big argument in 22 on the court and Spolstra said to him, I knew you were a crazy mother effort as they're being separated, you know?

Speaker 51110.8s - 1115.76s

Exactly. Exactly. Like, unless you're super sensitive, you're going to come back and you're

Speaker 161115.76s - 1120.02s

going to take it as a challenge. He told Goran Dragich PERSON that he sucked right after he traded for him.

Speaker 51120.02s - 1124.42s

Like, Jimmy loves, I think the parts that he didn't like about being in Minnesota ORG was the rest of the team

Speaker 161124.42s - 1125.02s

was soft.

Speaker 51126.86s - 1128.2s

LeBron PERSON did not take it as a challenge. LeBron PERSON left. That's right.

Speaker 161129.4s - 1143.78s

He's a different guy than Jimmy PERSON. He was sensitive about it. And Jimmy PERSON, I think, appreciate, he likes the confrontation. I think he likes the uneasiness that can be, that could surround this situation. We've seen it. Like, I think he respects it. I think he respects it.

Speaker 141143.78s - 1146.92s

I would argue that most

Speaker 161146.92s - 1153.62s

athletes, when they end up in other environments, are a bit surprised about how brittle people are

Speaker 01153.62s - 1161.98s

to correction, to criticism, to confrontation. Those three things, I think I, every time I talk

Speaker 91161.98s - 1188.28s

to athletes about them entering new work spaces, they think everyone's soft because the language is aggressive and Ray Allen and others have said of the heat. Just don't be in your feelings. Your feelings don't matter on anything. You care deeply about playing basketball 20 years of your life and now Sposos is you get six minutes tonight. Don't get in your feelings about it. He's got to make difficult decisions about who gets to play and who doesn't get to play. The thing that I will tell you, though,

Speaker 141188.66s - 1239.8s

that you might be underestimating, even if that confrontation, confrontation is private, is the combination of now we're talking about money. We're throwing, people are bargaining privately and publicly about what he's worth in his old age, and he is a proud man. And you've just escalated a furnace of conversation around him and his money and told him to shut his mouth. Saying that privately and saying that publicly are two different things, just because thecircumstances have changed. Now we're arguing and negotiating about money. It's not, I'm already under contract, I'm secure here, and I know what my finances are guaranteed. I'm telling you that that extra step,if you guys are telling me that Jimmy PERSON's good with that, I'm telling you that people can get into their feelings when it's not the huddle and now we're at the bank deposits.

Speaker 171240.28s - 1243.44s

But you think Jimmy PERSON's hurt? Because I'm kind of with Zaslow PERSON. I think he's wrong.

Speaker 141243.44s - 1276.28s

I'm just saying it can be received differently by a proud adult male. Once you're now making the business in public, and that business in public has some things that can be turned into, you know, can turn into public criticism and negotiating and disrespect if you are in your feelings. You know how people say all the time in sports? They say, it's not personal. It's not personal. It's just business. And all the time I see people get their feelings hurt because two people have different definitions of what personal feels like when there's money involved.

Speaker 101277.16s - 1282.98s

Listen, that's totally fair. And obviously, look, I was with Jimmy PERSON before these comments happened. I can't personally imagine.

Speaker 91282.98s - 1284.78s

Speak for him, Rohan PERSON. Yes.

Speaker 101289.56s - 1371.5s

I personally just can't imagine that they would make him do a total 180. You know, I've seen some people speculate, oh, he's going to demand a trade and things like that. I would be completely floored if something like that were to happen as a result of this. I also personally think that, look, it's like you guys have mentioned, it's not the first time Pat Riley has used that end of year press conference to send a message to his players in a very public fashion. And he kind of does it in a way when he knows they're going out the door. I think that that's been it, and you could say a hallmark of his career in some ways, challenging people publicly.I do also think, I want to put this out there. I think the heat would be, I think it would be crazy for them not to extend Jimmy Butler PERSON. I think people have already very quickly forgotten where this franchise was in the three or four years before he got there, that in-between period between LeBron PERSON and him leaving versus what happened before Jimmy Butler PERSON got there.I tried to ask Pat Riley PERSON about that. I tried to ask him, I was like, do you think, like, you guys exceeded your expectations, Jimmy Butler PERSON? I asked him this last August. And I don't think he's willing to go that far because he has high expectations for Jimmy PERSON. He said that's what happens when you sign a star player. But I would argue that no no superstar, quote unquote, in the NBA ORG, has done more withless than Jimmy Butler has in the last five years. And there's always a conversation about do we extend him? When I look at the rest of the East that has upgraded significantly in the last five years. And there's always a conversation about, do we extend him? When I look at the rest of the East that has upgraded significantly in the last few years, and it feels like the Heat have not done that for Jimmydespite how far he's taken.

Speaker 171371.68s - 1379.7s

I think Jimmy and this Heat ORG team has maxed out. I think it's okay if the Heat ORG move on from Jimmy Butler PERSON. I'm good with that, and I think Riley PERSON's good with that.Do you?

Speaker 101381.04s - 1420.88s

Another reason why I'm skeptical of that is Riley knows that this is a star-driven league. And think he at the at the end of the day knows what it was like when they didn't have a star I mean he told Dan about what it was like when you know Hassan Whiteside and Dion Waiters were the team leaders and you saw how if he thinks he's frustrated now you can all remember how frustrated he was then there are very few players in the NBA ORG that move the needle. Very few. Jimmy Butler PERSON's proven now in multiple playoffs that he can be a guy who moves the needle. And if you have that player, and Pat Riley PERSON's shown in his history as an executive of a coach, he does whatever he can to hold on to that player for as long as possible.

Speaker 51421.26s - 1430.06s

Riley indeed called Jimmy Butler PERSON the biggest needle mover on the team. But, I mean, to Rohan PERSON's point, do you know who was there during that in-between period? Rodney PERSON.

Speaker 141431.24s - 1437.68s

Can we get some information on where this needle is? Give me the needle. The needle that gets moved is where?

Speaker 101437.84s - 1442.66s

Which needle do you think of when there's a sound? It's a sound needle. It's like the New York Times

Speaker 141442.66s - 1447.8s

election meter. Yeah, yeah. Like a gas meter. It's like empty, full.

Speaker 101447.88s - 1448.94s

It's not a Richter scale.

Speaker 131449.44s - 1453.64s

Are we all imagining the same, but are we all imagining the same needle?

Speaker 101453.9s - 1459.8s

Are all of us, visually, all of us workers. It's a semi-circle and it's moving left to right.

Speaker 131459.8s - 1466.56s

So like on the far left is like there's no fans coming to the game. And then the needle moves and it's like the fans are there. They're 30 minutes late.

Speaker 71466.66s - 1467.7s

It's more like the sound meter.

Speaker 31467.92s - 1470.08s

You know when you're like, all right, let's go, clap your hands.

Speaker 71470.38s - 1471.36s

That thing goes up regardless.

Speaker 31471.86s - 1472.82s

Yeah, it's not very accurate.

Speaker 131473s - 1473.26s

It does.

Speaker 31474.02s - 1480.36s

But this thing that we're all imagining that is the same instrument, does it have a name for all of us?

Speaker 71480.36s - 1482s

Does it look the same?

Speaker 141482.06s - 1495.5s

Is it the same color? This needle that you have Jimmy Butler PERSON moving? It's, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it's a gas tank. Is that we're all imagining the same needle, and I'm asking you again, that particular needer will imagine. What does that actually

Speaker 101495.5s - 1501.06s

measure? I think it measures, can this team actually win a championship at the end of the day? No, I mean

Speaker 141501.06s - 1505.08s

the actual instrument.

Speaker 101508.3s - 1508.8s

I like yours better, I think.

Speaker 141511.18s - 1511.62s

For you, it's a championship needle.

Speaker 91514.7s - 1514.8s

It's can it get all the way over into the red where the champion,

Speaker 101516.66s - 1516.92s

it's gotten very close.

Speaker 91519.24s - 1519.96s

It's gone very close, but it hasn't gotten there.

Speaker 101520.2s - 1530.84s

Correct. And it was nowhere close when Hassan White's PERSON side was like the highest played player on the heat. That was the needle was like defunct. It was, you know, it needed to be revived.

Speaker 171536.86s - 1537.3s

Right. But you want the needle to move a little bit more all the way to full and Jimmy PERSON can't get there.

Speaker 101542.4s - 1545.12s

I think, but you could argue that he could get there with the proper pieces around him, I think would be my argument. But wouldn't one of them have to be better than he is?

Speaker 141545.38s - 1565.36s

Is it the proper pieces or is it a proper piece brought in and hey, Donovan Mitchell, you got to be better than Jimmy or whoever the proper piece is, we need you to be better than Jimmy because what this is, this decline is going to have fewer free throws and more three point attempts because that's how players age and he's entering a dangerous age.

Speaker 101565.56s - 1611.12s

I agree the window is short. Okay, we can all agree the window is short. The history is not kind to players over 35. Does that player need to be better than Jimmy Butler PERSON? I'm not totally sure. I think they need to, they have to be the perfect fit and that's not easy. But you look at around the NBA right now, like if you gave Jimmy Butler and Bamatabio PERSON, and it pains me to say this, if you gave Jimmy Butler and Bamadabio, Derek White, Drew Holiday, and Chris Stapps werezingis PERSON, I think Eric Spicer could coach that team to 65 wins, and they'd be a title favorite. If you gave them Jaden McDaniels, Mike Conley, and Carl Anthony Towns PERSON, I think you're looking at a team that wins 65 games and can compete for a championship. Those aren't your conventional stars. I wouldn't say any of those guys individually are better than Jimmy Butler PERSON, but what they are are perfect fits that amplify what your best players do.

Speaker 171611.28s - 1618.48s

But if it's a small window, why extend him? When you don't have to, you've already extended him. You don't have to extend him.

Speaker 101618.8s - 1624.14s

Listen, you don't have to extend him. That's just how this works. To Dan PERSON's point, we can say it's a business.

Speaker 171624.14s - 1628.12s

That is just how this works. That's how this works. That's point, we can say it's a business. That is just how this works. Okay, that's how this works. That's why Kobe gets a sweetheart

Speaker 91628.12s - 1636.4s

deal at the end of his Lakers tenure. That's why LeBron PERSON is going to get a contract until he's 42 years old. It's why Kirk Cousin's got $100 million. It's why Kirk Cousin's got $100,000.

Speaker 31636.4s - 1643.32s

He's a good quarterback. Hold on. You extend him because you know the alternative is

Speaker 131643.32s - 1645.26s

Hassan White's PERSON side.

Speaker 101656.22s - 1663.34s

I really would like to get to the point where our video elements work so well with our staff that at some point while Rohan was talking, we paned slowly over to Jeremy. And he's like the coach no one can understand in Waterboy WORK_OF_ART in the stands shirtless and rubbing his nipples with his hands.

Speaker 131663.64s - 1664.26s

I love him.

Speaker 141664.28s - 1667.96s

I saw that look on your face. Your face, I looked at your face, and what

Speaker 51667.96s - 1675.02s

I saw was you shirtless pawing at your chest because you were so happy with every syllable he uttered. Yeah, I fell in love

Speaker 141675.02s - 1678.7s

as that happened. Both of you go sit in the penalty box. What? Both of you.

Speaker 51679.2s - 1681.54s

Roehan PERSON, I'm going to. You're all of you out of here.

Speaker 171681.54s - 1682.96s

Rohan PERSON.

Speaker 51683.12s - 1685.28s

Some are a guest. All of you out of here. We drove them all the way have here. I know. I'm throwing them all of you. All of you are here.

Speaker 171685.28s - 1686.4s

We drove them all the way from

Speaker 91686.4s - 1687.98s

Panthers ORG. Wow.

Speaker 31689.1s - 1750.02s

Have you ever wondered if Chet Holmgren might be a descendant of Abraham Lincoln or if a UFC ORG fighter could beat an alien in a fight? You might have not, and that's okay. I probably have thought about the UFC ORG one, to be honest. But Shea Serrano and Jason Concepcion from the Six Trophies WORK_OF_ART podcast have.If you love basketball, and more importantly, if you love fun, you got got to listen to six trophies where Jason and Shay serve up the biggest moments from all around the NBA ORG with their brand of unbridled joy, banter and pop culture side quests. Each week, they hand out six pop culture themed trophies for six basketball-related activities, stuff like the Denzel Washington and Training Day trophy, given out to the player or team having the best week around the NBA ORG. Or the Lauren Hill, you might win some, but you just lost one trophy for the team or player that just can't get it together. Plus a bunch more trophies for all the good, bad, or just plain head scratching moments from all around the NBA ORG.This playoff season, you want to make six trophies, your go-to-companyinion podcast. Follow six trophies on the Wondery ORG app or wherever you get your podcast. Listen at free right now by joining Wondry Plus ORG. Don Lebertard.

Speaker 121750.48s - 1752.92s

Teammates can't shoot from three.

Speaker 111753.3s - 1773.56s

Now they're going to see a different Jimmy PERSON. Now he's just, just playing. Nickelback in the locker room and... Stugats. They'll play day And show threes As they chase the NatsFor the six seed These five words in his head Scream are we winning games yet

Speaker 121773.56s - 1784.92s

This is the Dan Levitar PERSON show With the Stugats That's That's right

Speaker 71784.92s - 1796.44s

It's time for Thursday Thunder. And it is sponsored by Draft King. Stay tuned because you'll hear more about what Draft Crings ORG has to offer throughout the show. Draft Crings ORG, the crown is yours. Tony, what do we got today?

Speaker 31796.76s - 1813s

This is cooked up by the one and only Juju Gadi PERSON. This is a deep cut. Thursday Thunder. Deep cut. We're not going to have big names here we're not going to have big stat lines herewe're going to go in deep cut juju's been in the lab cooking up you mentioned deep cut you mentioned that

Speaker 141813s - 1814.84s

I just got to sell it because you're going to say

Speaker 31814.84s - 1816.98s

reemphasize because I'm going to say the names

Speaker 141816.98s - 1819.7s

it cuts deep I'm going to say the names you'd be like who are those guys

Speaker 171819.7s - 1821.38s

juju unlike

Speaker 141821.38s - 1823.28s

against the spread

Speaker 31823.28s - 1849.42s

which is terrible because you guys just go off the top of your head. Juju is pouring over numbers, trying to find inefficiencies and trying to give you a smart bet because he makes, he feels very bad when he loses people money. So he's legitimately trying. All right, we're going to start in the Cavs versus Celtics game tonight at 705.Luke Cornet over rebounds, five and a half. What?

Speaker 161850.76s - 1860.1s

I want to place the bet where it's Luke Cornett over under times he does the thing where he just jumps up from 15 feet away to try and distract the shooter.

Speaker 31860.1s - 1862.42s

It looks like NBA 2 PRODUCTK when you hit the wrong button.

Speaker 161862.72s - 1863.68s

It's so stupid.

Speaker 51865.08s - 1865.88s

Second leg.

Speaker 161865.9s - 1868.64s

Get a hand in his face from 40 feet away.

Speaker 141870.6s - 1873.4s

Vegas has him for 16 over under there on the jumps.

Speaker 31873.4s - 1873.84s

Of the jumping?

Speaker 161873.96s - 1874.68s

Yeah, the jumps, yeah.

Speaker 31877.32s - 1881.56s

Second leg, over 0.53s for Josh Green PERSON.

Speaker 141883.12s - 1883.86s

Oh, we need one?

Speaker 31884.36s - 1885.94s

Just one. He's just going to take one.

Speaker 171886.64s - 1888.9s

I don't know about you guys.

Speaker 31888.98s - 1890.98s

I don't know if you are still thrilled, by the way,

Speaker 171891.06s - 1892.46s

basketball has played these days.

Speaker 31892.74s - 1896.42s

But watching Indiana and New York GPE just sort of swing it and get wide open

Speaker 171896.42s - 1898.88s

threes all game, no matter where the defense is,

Speaker 31899.02s - 1903.92s

it's just, it's still confusing to me to watch basketball played that way.

Speaker 141906.5s - 1908.6s

Last leg of the parlay.

Speaker 31908.8s - 1913.36s

Over 6.5 points for Nikiel Alexander Walker PERSON.

Speaker 141914.8s - 1915.46s

I like that.

Speaker 31915.6s - 1926.18s

Over 5.5 rebounds for Luke Cornett PERSON. Over 0.5 threes for Josh Green PERSON. Over 6.5 points for Nikiel Alexander Walker PERSON. Deep cut. Deep cut. Deep cut, buddy.

Speaker 141926.72s - 1942.14s

Did you guys have any reaction to the news that Max and Disney Plus and Hulu ORG are merging so that your future has something that, again, looks like cable in it as we move away from cable?

Speaker 01942.14s - 1944.28s

Did anyone have any thoughts there?

Speaker 171944.38s - 1948.78s

Because my only initial thought was a totally narcissistic one,

Speaker 01948.88s - 1955.68s

which was, we did everything we did so that again, on Max ORG, now we can be with Disney ORG.

Speaker 121958.82s - 1961.48s

How did all of that get maneuvered around?

Speaker 141961.68s - 1962.2s

Full circle.

Speaker 171962.42s - 1964.08s

How did that get maneuvered around

Speaker 141964.08s - 1966.12s

so that now I am a Disney ORG and

Speaker 131966.12s - 1973.88s

we are Disney ORG employee adjacent? Do we get park vouchers now? Yes. I never got those. That'd be

Speaker 51973.88s - 1981.12s

awesome. Many years ago, many, many years ago, this is a true story. The people who invented

Speaker 141981.12s - 1993.32s

pardon the interruption came down to see what it is that a young, hungry and ambitious Stugat PERSON and I were doing at the start of the radio station.

Speaker 51993.32s - 1997.88s

And they were thinking about how to televise on Disney ORG what it is that we were doing.

Speaker 141998.02s - 2014.38s

And they spent about 40 minutes around our show during which Stugats and I were talking to Jim Brown about having tried to make an ex-girlfriend jealous by posing in Playgirl PRODUCT. And they packed up their stuff and left and said that they would not be televising what it is. We do.

Speaker 172014.48s - 2023.2s

I'll take it one step further. Eric Rydholm was one of those two people that were in the room. He fell asleep inside of 12 minutes. I mean, and I was offended. I have to be honest with you.

Speaker 142023.26s - 2024.68s

Well, he was offended by you.

Speaker 172024.84s - 2046.52s

And that's part of the true story, which is during that show in the hallway, as they packed up their stuff to leave, they stopped me and having seen Stugats ORG's behavior, again, the most hustling, ambitious and hungry of Stugatses PERSON, they said to to me both of the people who were there oh my God

Speaker 142046.52s - 2051.12s

he's real it's not that he's playing a character

Speaker 02051.12s - 2059.24s

that's a real thing the only reason I bring this up is this has been the response to Zaslow during our shows

Speaker 92059.24s - 2073.8s

where when he talks the way that he talks and people wonder is he playing a character no he is not nope nope that is he playing a character? No, he is not. Nope. Nope, that is who he is learning in this market from people like Stuganta and Bukchambi PERSON on how to do this.

Speaker 02074.1s - 2097.92s

Just throw your maximum vulnerabilities in the air and be who he is. This is not false. This is a real thing that is in front of us today. And for some reason, he wants to fight the Boston Bruins ORG. It's assonite. He's an adult with kids who are close to grown up, and he wants to fight. He thinks it's smart to look into a camera and fight Boston Bruins ORG.

Speaker 172098s - 2101.96s

If you're not from Boston GPE, let's be honest. Who doesn't want to fight someone from Boston GPE?

Speaker 162102.12s - 2137.78s

It's my favorite part of these games now. My behavior during these playoff games in front of my kids. It's the best part of this experience for me. There are two different types of sports fans. When you're a sports fan growing up and you take it serious, and you're a sports fan as an adult with kids and you take it serious. It's a completely different experience. And that's why, you know, last postseason and now hopefully this would as well have been so magical because it is a completely brand new experience. And I love be, I already told you it's my

Speaker 142137.78s - 2143.12s

drugs, my anxiety during these games. But drugs, drugs you take with your kids. Oh yes. I, I,

Speaker 162143.12s - 2145.1s

get in here. The game is starting.

Speaker 142145.52s - 2154.1s

And my kids come in the room last night. I go, all right, everybody, this is a serious room right now. I announce it right before they're going to drop. Come down. Come take drugs with daddy, kids. Come on.

Speaker 162154.52s - 2160.86s

Everybody put their phones down. This is a serious room. This is a serious room. Teaching them, yes.

Speaker 132160.94s - 2164.42s

Your kids are going to remember this for the rest of their lives, by the way.

Speaker 162164.42s - 2177.86s

Great. My strongest memories of my dad growing up was reacting to the Bush Push EVENT, reacting to the Steve Bartman catch, reacting to the time that USC ORG scored.

Speaker 02181.1s - 2184.74s

I think it was a punt return kickoff return or whatever for a touchdown. And he threw a Christmas ornament at the TV.

Speaker 132186.38s - 2188.04s

I was 30 years old. Hey!

Speaker 92192.7s - 2192.8s

Those are the memories that you will always remember as a kid.

Speaker 142195.82s - 2196.26s

All the traumatizing moments, your dad screams at the TV.

Speaker 92203.84s - 2207s

The happiest I have ever seen my father was in 1986, in tidy Whitey ORG's, dancing around the living room because that baseball went through the legs

Speaker 02207s - 2207.76s

of Bill Buckner PERSON.

Speaker 162207.88s - 2208.8s

Oh, what a great time.

Speaker 142208.8s - 2209.66s

I mean.

Speaker 172211.12s - 2212.54s

It was joyous.

Speaker 142212.64s - 2214.46s

My father doesn't really do joy.

Speaker 172214.58s - 2240.08s

And again, he was sort of a bearskin rug of body hair and tidy whiteys PRODUCT. And he was dancing around in the living room because the things that you pass down to your family, Chris Cody PERSON is here and all of his dolphin allegiances come down like an heirloom through his family because his mom's crazier than his dad is about the dolphins and his dad is one of the biggest homers in the history of the media. All true.

Speaker 72241.46s - 2243.98s

No lies and no lies told here.

Speaker 142244.2s - 2251.98s

What's more fun to see your dad have joy over his favorite sports team winning or to see your dad have misery over his favorite sports team losing?

Speaker 172252.18s - 2264.3s

Because I too was at the 86 World Series EVENT with my dad. He cracked open a bottle of champagne because at that time you could bring anything into a stadium. You could bring anything anywhere. You could smoke on an airplane, okay? What?

Speaker 22264.44s - 2267.24s

You didn't know that? No, no, no, I knew that. I knew that.

Speaker 172267.32s - 2276.88s

I'm saying you brought a bottle of champagne into the stadium? My dad did, yeah. And he opened it to celebrate the Red Sox finally winning a World Series EVENT. And then the ball went through the legs.

Speaker 142277.02s - 2278.44s

I'll do you one better on...

Speaker 172278.44s - 2284.18s

It's your dad's fault. You can smoke on an airplane. Do you realize that at one point in America GPE you'd get on an airplane

Speaker 42284.18s - 2291.18s

and somebody would be serving prime rib? That was a thing back before peanuts and small seats. Like back in coach?

Speaker 02291.18s - 2296.38s

It would be, I don't know if it would be in coach. I can't say to have witnessed this. I've just

Speaker 172296.38s - 2302.6s

read the history of the airlines. I've never seen prime rib being cut on an airplane. I was watching

Speaker 02302.6s - 2306.08s

an old Seinfeld episode where Jerry was in first class and Elaine PERSON was in

Speaker 132306.08s - 2319.68s

coach and Jerry was getting served like a chocolate Sunday in first class sitting next to a model. And I was like, man, do people in first, Dan, do you still get Sundays in first class? I know you got beans on the way home from Vegas GPE.

Speaker 142319.68s - 2333.84s

No, it really does depend the first class you're doing. Like American Airlines first class and stuff, all you're getting that's better is that your seats a little bit bigger and you get the people. The bathroom experience is slightly less horrible

Speaker 172333.84s - 2343.48s

because 10 people are using the bathroom as opposed to 100 people. And still the 100 are coming in from the back and using it anyway. You get mad at that, don't you?

Speaker 142343.48s - 2346.6s

The longer the flights, I don't get mad at that.

Speaker 172346.6s - 2348.2s

I'm trying not to go anywhere in that bathroom.

Speaker 162348.2s - 2350.1s

Do they still have the curtain separating on something?

Speaker 142350.1s - 2351.1s

They do have a curtain, yeah.

Speaker 172351.1s - 2353.6s

A curtain of classism.

Speaker 142353.6s - 2354.6s

Yes, a curtain.

Speaker 172354.6s - 2356.3s

It's blinded so you can see through it.

Speaker 142356.3s - 2357.9s

You're like, I see Dan PERSON right there.

Speaker 172357.9s - 2360.2s

I see Dan PERSON flagging down the flight attendant,

Speaker 22360.2s - 2361.6s

like, they're not supposed to be up here.

Speaker 72361.6s - 2362.4s

He does that.

Speaker 142362.4s - 2363.4s

Is this vegan?

Speaker 72363.4s - 2371.9s

The longer the flight and the better the first class, you can get some very good amenities.

Speaker 92372.12s - 2373.78s

But again, not prime rib.

Speaker 142373.78s - 2381.1s

And I wonder who in our audience doesn't know that there was a time that you could smoke on airplanes?

Speaker 92381.32s - 2386.08s

Because I've been on a plane recently where I saw the old ashtray.

Speaker 142386.18s - 2387.38s

I'm like, this is an old ass train.

Speaker 162387.38s - 2390.3s

Where the ashtray is on my armrest.

Speaker 172390.48s - 2394.58s

And I'm like, good, God, this thing's been feeding cancer for 50 years right here.

Speaker 92394.64s - 2395.18s

So tempting.

Speaker 02395.4s - 2396.92s

As a kid, it was always a thing for me.

Speaker 172397.1s - 2401.16s

We would be able to knock on the cockpit door in flight.

Speaker 162401.7s - 2402.86s

They open up the door.

Speaker 172402.96s - 2404.38s

You come, you sit down with the pilot.

Speaker 02404.54s - 2405.5s

They're arrested for that.

Speaker 162405.82s - 2407.88s

They give you a pen, an eagle pin.

Speaker 172407.88s - 2408.56s

Are you on the dock?

Speaker 162408.72s - 2411.46s

I'm in the, I'm practically flying the plane.

Speaker 172412.46s - 2413.58s

You and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar PERSON?

Speaker 142414.34s - 2417.5s

Hey, I don't remember a time when you can do that.

Speaker 162417.62s - 2420.26s

I don't remember getting in there and getting in.

Speaker 172421.62s - 2422.02s

Yeah.

Speaker 162422.66s - 2422.9s

Okay.

Speaker 142423.18s - 2424.4s

Yeah, you walk in with your family.

Speaker 22424.5s - 2426.12s

Your dad says, hey, can my son come in?

Speaker 172426.18s - 2426.98s

Yeah, you get the pin.

Speaker 142427.14s - 2428.08s

Yeah, you get a little pin.

Speaker 172428.08s - 2428.78s

Yeah, it's great.

Speaker 142428.88s - 2430.22s

When did they stop that?

Speaker 172430.58s - 2431.42s

I'm guessing 9-11 EVENT.

Speaker 142431.48s - 2432.18s

Might have been 9-11 EVENT.

Speaker 172432.3s - 2432.78s

Yeah, probably.

Speaker 142432.94s - 2435.54s

I mean, it might have been a long time before 9-11 EVENT.

Speaker 162435.54s - 2436.82s

The world changed that day, Dan PERSON.

Speaker 172436.82s - 2437.64s

Yeah, thank you.

Speaker 162437.74s - 2438.94s

Certainly flight did.

Speaker 142439.34s - 2443.78s

Thank you, Stugatz PERSON, for all your sociological observations there, historic and enduring.

Speaker 172443.92s - 2445.38s

Yes, that was giving you an answer.

Speaker 162445.5s - 2445.86s

9-11 EVENT.

Speaker 172446.06s - 2447.18s

The world changed that day.

Speaker 162448.94s - 2449.48s

Airplane.

Speaker 132450.06s - 2450.7s

What a movie.

Speaker 172450.94s - 2451.44s

Great movie.

Speaker 92451.56s - 2452.16s

Excellent movie.

Speaker 132452.26s - 2460.64s

Great flick. Does it hold up? I watched it recently. I mean, there's certainly jokes that I don't think would be in a modern iteration, but, you know.

Speaker 142461.06s - 2461.6s

Oh, for sure.

Speaker 132461.6s - 2463.72s

Some of it's still really funny. Of course.

Speaker 92463.72s - 2468.12s

But jokes per minute, that movie holds the record.

Speaker 132468.24s - 2468.94s

Does it not?

Speaker 02469.28s - 2479.54s

Yeah. Feels like. There are never in the history of movies, I don't believe, you know, on average, we've done statistical numbers on the Rambo PERSON movies, deaths and violence and how historic

Speaker 22479.54s - 2488.96s

they are in terms of bloody. Airplane WORK_OF_ART has to be more jokes per second than any movie in the history of movies. When they go, do you want smoking or non-smoking? He says smoking and the tickets on fire.

Speaker 132489.62s - 2489.98s

It's great.

Speaker 22490.98s - 2492.54s

Surely it is one of the greatest movies.

Speaker 92492.56s - 2493.56s

It is, and don't call me Shirley PERSON.

Speaker 142493.78s - 2494.4s

Of all time.

Speaker 22494.8s - 2494.88s

Hey.

Speaker 142495.14s - 2495.6s

Good job.

Speaker 132495.68s - 2496.32s

Eliope there.

Speaker 142496.4s - 2498.84s

You guys are just like Shaq and Barclay PERSON.

Speaker 42501.22s - 2502.62s

Dan Forbes PERSON backs you up.

Speaker 142502.72s - 2505.6s

Top 10 funniest movie ever per laugh per minute.

Speaker 42505.96s - 2507.1s

Airplane, number one.

Speaker 142507.22s - 2508.4s

Number one of all time.

Speaker 42508.44s - 2508.98s

Hangover number two.

Speaker 132508.98s - 2509.6s

What a stat.

Speaker 42509.72s - 2513.78s

I got to think that most movies from the 1970s that are comedy,

Speaker 142514.08s - 2516.84s

no way anyone in our audience like those anymore.
