The payoff pitch is swung on and line towards the gap in right center field. This is going to get down for a base hit.Myers is racing towards the warning track picks it up. One run is going to score. However, two batters later, Kyle Schwerber would put the finishing touches on a two-run, or three-run fourth. Ground ball hit through the right side and a base hit. Eli Villalobos tossed two innings, a lot of run on two hits tonight. Calvin Foshae, a lot of run on two hits and an inning.Anthony Bender worked a scoreless ninth. The Phillies would get one in the fifth. They'd get one in the seventh. They had an eight-two lead going to the bottom of the eighth inning and with two outs. Josh Bell would finally get the Marlins on the board with a couple of men on base. Here's a deep drive to left field and it's off the glove of Pache. Two runs are going to score. Josh Bell's going to have two RBIs with a two out double here in the eighth. Marlins ORG are on the board. It's eight to two. That would be all the marlins would get tonight. It means very similar to the past, last couple outings. Good Velo in the first inning and then consistently dropped throughout the game. Had trouble throwing his fastball first strikes a lot of time, probably 50% or so. I'm not exactly sure.There's some, you know, good pitches at times, but, you know, just kind of erratic and out of the zone behind counts, and you do that to some good hitters. You know, they're going to do some

there should be a lot of pissed off people i mean this is no one wants to get their ass kicked every night so yeah i think people are probably sick of that i think there's probably frustration but you know i think anger is good at times because it builds adrenaline. It means you care. So I think if you're just going through the motions and, you know, checking boxes and, you know, it's just another game, so to speak, then, you know, you're not, you're not made for this. So I just, I don't mind a broken helmet, a bat slam, I mean, thatthrowing some, whatever you're doing, like, there's got to be some sort of emotion because, you know, I think sadness is, like, not the emotion you want. You want to be, like, anger, frustrated, the whole deal to, to, like, get some energy going, some emotion going, because that's where real adrenaline starts coming from. So, yeah, I don't mind.

PERSON stole a lot of strikes, did a really good job. You know, there's a lot of calls that, you know, definitely were, you know, went, I think both, there are some interesting calls, both sides, but I thought J.T. PERSON did a really nice job of stealing a lot of strikes, but, I mean, that wasn't the reason why we didn't hit.It was Ranger PRODUCT. Ranger PRODUCT did a really good job. A lot of weak pole side contact. I thought there was some good at bats. I thought Jazz PERSON took some good at bats. I thought Dela PERSON took some good at bats.Bentancourt swung the bat well tonight. But just overall, you know, besides, you know, J.B. PERSON's double, there wasn't much hard-car. Actually, Berger PERSON swung the bat really well. I had no numbers to show for it, but I thought he lined out a few times, good hard contact. So there's some signs of some guys that are, you know, starting to feel better and going to break through. But overall, Ranger was just, you know, a lot better than us tonight.

So it seems like a lot of hits that were going on.

I think he's, I mean, if you watch it, he's trying, they're setting up inside, he's missing arm's side. So when you're not driving it through and to the glove side, you're going to have problems. You know, big hitters, you know, if you're not, if they don't think inside at all, I mean,they're going to lean out over and do exactly what they just did. A lot of opposite field hits tonight with, um, with, uh, extra base, you know, velocity behind it. So I think, uh, I think you're exactly right that he needs to throw the ball inside more. He tried. It just didn't work.

So I'm just trying to feel that cocked connected position when my foot lands, but obviously not
