We're going to start up the weekend right. Long and much anticipated award show for the Lockdown Wizards, uh, 2023 to 2021 season for the Washington Wizards ORG. And the categories night, as you guys know, because you guys voted and you guys did this whole process, most of you guys did the legwork.So, I put the vote for you guys and you guys voted for each category. So the category is night real quick. Um, the best move made during this previous season. Now, a lot of people responded with the Bradley PERSON bill trade,which was during the all season before this, the season. So I didn't count those moves or the draft moves. I counted transactions made within this season. So the best bench player, the best defender, the most improved player, and the most valuable player. So we're going to go over each category, the winners, and then at the end, we're going to chop a little like we always do. And then I'm going to give you guys a blueprint and a turnerate for what we're going to do for the next of the off season. So we can get into the draft, free agency, and get into things. So let's get into it. Everybody, like I said,I appreciate everybody. I've got nine people in, so we expect more people, but let's get into it. So the first category of the nine, the best Wizards move this season. Now, the three candidates were in one, the trade for Marvin Bagley, Isaiah Livers PERSON, and second round picks from the Detroit Pistons ORG, two, the trade for Rashon Holmes and a 26 pick from the Dallas Mavericks ORG, and four, three, signing Jared Butler to an NBA ORG standard contract.So again, I appreciate it by definitely coming out and voting. Now, the winner, and drum on please, and the winner by a 67% vote was the trade for Marvin Bagley, Isaiah Livers, and his second round picks from the Detroit GPE business. And I got to see, I agree with you. I like all three moves, right? You know, signing Jared Bullock to an NBA standard contract, really good move. Picking up Rashon Holmes Holmes, why I didn't know what they expected from Roshan Holmes PERSON, and wasn't really big on the move at the time, especially considering having to give up, you know, Daniel Gaffert, but getting the 26 pick, which gives us kind of legroomto get back into the lottery, even though there are some good prospects in the later half of the first round. And second round picks, obviously, you know, look, Will Dawkins PERSON, man, he's rolling off the Oklahoma City Thunder's ORG blueprint. And so accumulating young, you know, look, Will Dawkins, man, he's rolling off the Oklahoma City Thunder's blueprint. And so accumulating young, you know, a lot of picks and young assets. So I get it.So I agree with you guys, man. I think that definitely that was the best move, man. Marvin Bagley, third, you know, came in, you know, you really showed up the issues we had on this team, which was rebounding, especially offensive rebound, defense. You know, the ability to stretch the floor from the center position. You saw that with Marvin Baggan PERSON.Now, Isaiah Livers was hurt for 95 to 98% of the time when he was a wizard. So even though he has some history with Jordan Poole PERSON, he was a former roommate with Jordan Pool at the University of Michigan ORG. And I was kind of intrigued to see what he can do next year. But, you know, subsequently he was waived to be able to make the contract offer to Jared Butler. So like I said, I agree with you guys, you know, 67% in the vote, voted for Marvin Bagley. Marfanley. He's on a sparring contract this upcoming season. So,again, a lot of Domino's ORG had to fall, but it's very interesting to see whether Marvin Meagli, the third, is a long-term asset or has he boosted his value up enough to where he could be a trade asset, especially going into the draft? Because again, I would definitely like to see us trade back into the lottery and definitely rock with a couple of lottery picks, man.So I definitely think that, you know, he's got value. So again, I definitely appreciate you guys with the vote. And again, for you guys, just tuning in the best Wizards move this season voted by you guys, the fans, was the trade for marvin back league the third isaiah levers and second round pick from the deep trade pisses so next we're going to get into who is the best wizard's bench player thisseason and i would admit i actually left somebody off i pitted johnny davis's one so i'm going go over the candidates real quick and then i'm kind of show up my um where i kind of went wrong but on the before canning this night was cor Corey Kisper, Jared Butler, Anthony Gill, and Johnny Davis PERSON. Now, Johnny Davis PERSON, we all know the backstory with him. So I kind of should have went Landry, Shaman instead of Johnny Davis PERSON. I was kind of, you know, it was a long day, man.So I definitely put in the vote. So I definitely admit that I should have put in Shaman as opposed to Johnny Davis PERSON, even though, you know, I'll see. So the votes with 90% of the vote, wow, 90% in the vote. Who was the best Wizards ORG bench player this year? And you guys voted, again, with 90% of the vote, Corey Kisper PERSON. Like I said, a lot of love, if you look at where a lot of love has gone this season, obviously a lot of people are high on Kyle Kuzman, rightfully so, Jordan Poole PERSON, rightfully so,Deniava, yeah, but we don't talk enough about, you know, Corey Kisberg PERSON. And, you know, people said that, you know, a couple of people kind of reached out, and said, well, was he the most approved player category candidate? And I kind of explained that he's been kind of the guy every year, you know, his scoring percentage has gone up. But if you look at his field goal percentage and his three point percentage is relatively stayed in the general area. So, you know, he's definitely fine-tuning himself as an offensive player, show more effort and energy ona defensive end. But he has been that guy as a three-level score. So I definitely want to see him definitely take that next level, you know, going on the next season. But, you know, I love what I see from Corey Kisper PERSON. So again, I definitely agree with the vote. He has came in and he's played quality basketball. Now, I guess really the biggest knock against him would be consistency, right?You know, putting up numbers on a consistent basis. He kind of has ups and lows, you know, good shooting game here, bad shooting game there. So I definitely charge Corey, man. Definitely consistency, the name of the game for next season. Definitely wants you to beat that. You know, that's scoring, there's three-level scoring threat on the second unit.Now, again, you know, we are very early in the offseason. NBA ORG playoffs is still in full motion. We still in the first daggone round. So a lot of dominoes need to fall. A lot of decisions need to be made. But, you know, to see, well, Corey Kisper PERSON, he's definitely got to place here long term.And I definitely think with him being an expiring contract this season coming up, that they should definitely work on an extension, to my opinion. Because everybody needs a score and scoring punch off the bench, a three-level score. Corey Kisper has been that guy consistently, three-point shot, mid-range, you know, slashing and driving to the basket. He has been money, especially, you know, scoring, but especially with putting the ball on the floor is dribbling you knowhis playmaking has gotten better is this on the defense while he's never going to be a lockdown defender the effort and the energy on the defensive end he's gotten a lot better um so you know i definitely agree with you guys man he that is a definite vote my opinion, because he was the best bench player. And like I said, I kind of wanted to throw with Langer Shammett PERSON in there because he played quality minutes when he was available, even though he dealt with his fair share of injuries. So we're going to get some comments from that vote.There was one comment that said this is from A.J. Simmons PERSON online. What's up? J.D. PERSON barely played. Shammett and Kulabali should be on the list if we're talking about the full season. Yeah, I'm with you. Even though, you know, Belal had full season. Yeah, I'm with you.Even though, you know, Below had moments where he started, I agree with you. But, JD, you know, that was the one miss. So definitely, you know, giving me on my toes, man. So definitely appreciate you, AJ PERSON. So, yeah, Shannon should have definitely been on the list. But Below, you know, kind of back and forth. Denny Force, all players, taking a shot on him to shoot 4% less than usual from three.A lot of good comments. And, you know, one covering pink different, or pink different 553, 3 said, Black-Cola ORG, he has potential, but for now, both sides, statistics aren't good, but it's okay for a first year. I totally agree. I think there's a big reason why he got 36% in this vote.Because, look, honestly, look at Bilau PERSON. You know, you see the intangibles. You see the potential. But Denny PERSON just, he's been the best defender on the consistent basis from year on year out, right? So we know what Denny PERSON can do. Denny PERSON is definitely a really above average, really good defender.I say elite. A lot of people say he took a step backwards. The statistics kind of paint a different venture. But to me, he's always been a really, really good defender. But the name of the game for Denny this year was his offense, which we're going to talk about a little bit.But his defense, to me, he's still a really, really good defender, if not still an elite defender, in my opinion. But Balakulabali PERSON is not that far away, you know, but he has a lot of work to do this offseason. Now, defensively, very polished, but still, you know, you still work on that side of the game. He's not a finished product, but offensively, he needs a lot of work.And I definitely envisioned him putting that work in. But Denny PERSON, much deserved because he was definitely a really good defender still. It's been his M.O. But we're going to talk about his offensive game, but I definitely agree with that vote, y'all. I definitely agree with that vote. So the next category for the night, who was the most approved wizard this season?And we had five candidates, if you can consider other a candidate, but your candidates this season was Denny Avia PERSON again, Jordan Poole, Marvin Bagley III, Jared Butler PERSON, and other. So the winner of who was the most improved wizard this season was again, Turbo with 79% of the vote. Got a a lot of comments we're going to look at a few comments from the vote um uh rashad cocker 69 46 and core kisper PERSON he never gets any love but it has turned into a reliable score on all three levels i agree with you but i think he's been you knowhe's been that dude you know but i i agree with you not a lot of love was, doesn't go to Corey Kisper PERSON. This is from Judin PERSON. I don't want to call him. Juden-0-3801. So Corey Kisper PERSON not even being listed as criminal. I agree.But like I said, I kind of made my case where, yeah, his scoring average went up, but he has been kind of consistent where he's at. I think the biggest thing with Corey Kisper PERSON is being consistent on the day and, day out, every night basis. But he, you know, if you look at the field goal in a three-point percentage, he's been that guy up to this point. So, but I feel you guys, man.Definitely feel you guys. So definitely appreciate you guys keeping me on my toes. A few more comments from this, this job, man, this grade. My bad. Let's see. What's Poole PERSON doing here?I think the biggest reason for Poole was that, you know, kind of him making that step in the second half. That's why I put him in there. Really bad first half. But, you know, he definitely, definitely improved in the second half. So that's why he was put in there. Let's see.A human person, 1-1-1 says, didn't he? But I do like Jerry Butler's PERSON game a lot. Saying here, man, I definitely agree with you. Johnny Davis PERSON got a vote. We'll see ZZZZ dot, dot, dot, dot seven said Johnny Davis PERSON. He's getting that. He's getting that.I wouldn't say he's the most valuable wizard because to me, it really comes down to Kyle Kuzman, Denny Avia, and Brian Keeve PERSON. I think the three of them really big, big reasons why this team came together and they played really well in the second half. I mean, as far as effort and staying in games, obviously, you look at the record, you know. So my spiel, I agree, you know, it really, looking at all the candidates, you can kind of argue that all of them really, you know, to a certain degree, were very valuable to this game going forward.I mean, Denny PERSON took that step offensively. You know, finally, you know, breaking out offensively, you know, his three-point shot, more fluid, faster. He's less hesitant to take it. He's attacking the basket. He's attacking the basket with confidence. He's just a different player.He's utilizing his vision. You know, the offense has flown through him sometimes as a secondary ball handler. You know, he's continuing to be a really, really good defender, if not an elite level defender. You know, he continues to become a better, better, better player everysingle year. And look, you can look at this contract and say that we definitely got a value contract. So I totally agree. Deniaviyovia PERSON really took the step up forward. So this is the question for you guys before we go on to the second ad,which is, our, Deniavya has three categories. Does that mean, I mean, at what point does he get the keys as far as being the first or second option going forward? Now, I know we got Kyle Cusman in the one option. We got Jordan Poole PERSON. You know, a lot of people think Jordan Poole could be that point guard,long term, I'm one of those people. So the question for everybody, kind of get a question in there for the chat after the second ad, which is, you know, at what point do you make him a top scoring option on his team going forward? You know Michael Jordan won six NBA titles and Kobe won five titles with Phil Jackson PERSON running the triangle offense, but did you know that Phil Jackson PERSON didn't invent that offense? There's one man behind the scenes that helped Michael Kobe and Phil win 11 championships in a supporting role. His name was Tex Winter PERSON. But going to the draft and we got a grab a guy like Alexar, who's a seven-footer, who can also play the four. Man, two to three years, having a couple seven-footers of the four-and-five, you know, looking like the calves a little bit, man. So, you know, we got some, we got some, you know, some wiggle room a little bit, you know.So I'm with you. I do like Bagley III PERSON. I think he really is finally showcasing the player that the Sacramento King ORG thought he was, the Detroit Pistons ORG thought he was. And we finally, it made him a better. And really, that's a testament.Again, this is a testament to interim head coach, Brian Keith PERSON and David Vanderbilt because, you know, there was a time where players got better when he left D.C. And with him motor you know his kind of like confidence with denny and most of these young guys man especially with cori kisper uh jordan pool PERSON confidence is the name of the game and with him you know when he has confidence you see a high motor which his motor has always been in his criticism i didn't see a lot of that in dc GPE i saw a guy who was very motivated play here so i agree withyou uh denny and bagley yeah denny is definitely part of the plan going forward i can see cori kisper being part of the plan obviously belal uh k. Kyle Kuzma PERSON, very teamfully deal. If there's a deal that's a really good deal, you take it. But, you know, again, you know, from a leadership standpoint, and from a standpoint that, you know, we still got two to three more years of rebuild. So, you know, it's not like he's really hurting us as far as being here.But, you know, in the case of Kyle Kuzman PERSON, you see a deal, you know, too good to pass up, you make that deal. But I can see both sides of the coin as far as his fit here long term because I am a fan of Kyle Kuzman PERSON. But I also is a business man. So I also look at that factor. The fact that, you know, his improvement and especially the energy on the defensive end, him shooking himself as being that three-level score, I would give him extension. Every team needs a shooter.We need a guy who can score off the bench. Now, going forward right now, he's slated to be a starter. We'll see. Like I said, I say this all the time. I know you guys get tired of it. A lot of dominoes have to fall before we know what division is as far as the starting unit. But he's shown that he can start.So we'll see. But Corey Kissman PERSON, man, I've been very impressed with him. The basketball IQ shows the three level score shows the slash and an attack in the basket, putting a ball on the floor. You know, hey, shout out to Cory Kisper PERSON, man. You know, really good year in my opinion. And he's given us a showcase, what he can do in the future.So an extension, absolutely. Link, what's good? If all the players we have improve and make a jump, we will find plus draft picks, we don't need a player to try and be Anthony Edwards. That's the issue with the NBA ORG. People try to copycat and fail.I agree with you. I agree with you. And the thing about the NBA ORG is that it changes. You know, it's a cycle. Changes. You know, there was a time, and people forget back in the day, there were super teams.There were big threes. Look at the Houston Rockets with La Juan, Charles Barkley, and Scottie Pippen PERSON, late in their careers. There were big threes. I mean, I don't know if you consider Michael Jordan, Dennis Rodman, and Scottie Pippen PERSON, Big Three, I do, this one, or Horace Grant years, you know, was that a big three? But the concept of Big Three has been around.But then if you look at teams like, okay, the San Antonio Spurs and their dynasty, you know, outside of Tim Duncan and nothing against Tony Parker and Mano Genoblee PERSON because they had an all-star appearances, but they just had the right pieces. You know, especially if you look at their bench pieces and their coaching, they had all the right pieces, defense, just had the right pieces, you know, especially if you look in their bench pieces and their coaching. They had all the right pieces, defense, offense, coaching, especially, you know, Hall of Fame coaching Popovich PERSON, man. So, and, you know, look at currently now with the Denver Nuggets ORG, you know, outside of Yolkidge, now, Jamal Murray PERSON, yeah, he could be the next level if he does stay healthy.And Michael Jordan, Jr. PERSON, he's dealt with his injuries. And Gordon PERSON at this point is a very high-level role guy, but they have the right pieces, the coaching. They have, you know, they have all the right pieces. So it really depends. With this team, now, I do think that eventually we will be a free agent destination. We haven't always been, but I think there's definitely a goal that this front office has. And I think it's definitely attainable. But, you know, with a team early on, such as ours, we have to, we have to add throughthe draft. We have to hit draft picks. And that's going to lay the blueprint and the rear carpet for what we want to do next. You know what I mean? So we have to hit. So I agree, you know, copycat and fail. I think if you're going to copycat anybody, I think that you're kind of already doing it to a certain degree, which is Oklahoma City GPE, which is, you know, accumulate all the picks you can, accumulate all the young talent you can, you know, definitely scouting development is key. So, you know, but I agree with you, man, you know, the NBA ORG changes.But I think that we're kind of already copying, catting. And but it's, you know, Oklahoma City GPE, look, look at what they're doing right now. I think that's a blueprint that you have to follow to a certain degree. Absolutely, seven-footed. But with his skill set, his comparisons, I see him better at the fore.
