You have to wonder how much life VGK GPE took out of the stars already building this two to nothing series advantage. But do you still have some concern that the stars should come back? This is a team in the Dallas Stars that went 26, 10, and 5 on the road thisseason. For sure. I mean, listen, the 5 on the road this season.

For sure. I mean, listen, the stars are the number one team in the Western Conference as far as points go. So until the series is over, you have to go to up 3-0. Until the series is over, it's not over. And we've seen things take some strange turns, of course, in a Vegas Golden Night playoff hockey in the past.So the hope is that this series does not get too exciting. The mindset certainly, I mean, obviously if they can get the sweeps even better, but the mindset is hopefully win game three, if not get a split at least at home. And then obviously it's going to give you a couple of chances to close this thing out, obviously before.Hopefully a game seven would be needed. But I think that's the mindset that the Golden Knights need to have. And I think Cassidy PERSON's influence on this series, as far as what he's saying, is being felt and it's also happening out there. You saw Cassidy PERSON after game one telling the players, hey, be hungry, don't be satisfied with just coming home with the road split. Like if the Gold nights came home one to one, we'd be just as happy right now about things.Great job, good. This is perfect. Gold Knights ORG got the stars right where they want them. Well, no, now they got them down to do nothing.

This was a potent team offensively that, of course, as we said yesterday, VGK stifled defensively. the line. That's the thing. I mean, and the Golden Knights ORG need to match that desperation. There's going to be, the stars are going to have a lot of momentum throughout the game. Both teams are comfortable with it being a one goal game in either direction. Of course, Pete DeBore PERSON has made a lot of comments about how hard it is to come back on theGolden Knights, but a little bit of that is coach-speak. If you just go watch some of the few game logs, it's not that hard in the regular season to come back on the Vegas Golden Knights ORG. But, of course, that's without Mark Stone PERSON, who's getting healthier in the lineup. And obviously, Petrangelo missed what, 10 to the last 11 or whatever it was. So now things are certainly, everything is moving right now.Clicking in all cylinders, I was trying to find the right terminology there. And the blue circle of death got stuck spinning. Look at just some stats real fast goaltending. I feel like Audenjur PERSON hasn't necessarily letting any weak goals, but he's got a 310 goals against and an 8-50 save percentage. And that's one of the best goalies in the NHL right there, where the Golden Knights ORG are making his numbers look bad.Logan Thompson, two goals against average and a 9-2-0 safe percentage. So right now, Logan is winning the goalie battle against a pretty darn good goalie over there in Dallas ORG. So all these crazy things happening at the right time for the golden nights. Go figure, Tony PERSON. For sure.

I saw a statistic, too. Dallas led the league in faceoff percentage on the road at 53.9%. Now, the other night, was it game two where Cassidy had said afterwards that we saw Dallas ORG pretty much on the chip and chase going off of the end boards and trying to feed the puck to themselves. Remember that. Well, in any event, we know that the backboards there, of course, T-Mobile ORG are livelier. Are we going to see one of those goals?I'll take one of those on my propette this weekend. Okay. And then Pete DeBore PERSON, again, they'll simplify things. They also have some injury concerns right now. So we saw yesterday, and I didn't see them go off the ice. I don't know if you did, but Mason Marchman could be out for this game. Radic Foxa also could be out for this game. Looking at the shift chart, so players that, like Sam Steele's PERSON last shift,

It took the goal nights all five periods to havePete DeBore and the Western Conference leading Dallas ORG stars scrambling and looking for answers. And that's not to say that DeBore can't do the same to Cassidy PERSON in these next couple of games. I know it feels pretty good right now as far as the Golden Knights ORG and their fans are concerned and such, but the series could still have a lot of life left to it, and hopefully it doesn't make it to a sixth game. If it makes it to a sixth game, of course, there's going to be some concern, obviously.You'd have to think at least the Golden Knights ORG will be looking to lock the series down on that sixth game. Otherwise, that means the stars went on a three-game winning streak, which would kind of suck right now. But that's what playoff hockey is all about. It's just crazy things that do and can and will happen.And it's going to, I don't know, I don't know. Maybe it'll happen. Maybe it won't happen, Tony PERSON. I don't know. We'll see.

I mean, I guess the biggest thing is for the Golden Knights ORG to get through the first five minutes without overdoing it and just keeping a nice and simple game, letting the game come to them because the Stars ORG obviously, they're going to come shot out of a cannon, right? You know you're going to get the Star ORG's best effort. They're going to get their best shot. And if the Golden Knights can survive that first four or five minutes and then gets to their game slowlythroughout the first period, find a way to get a greasy one.
