And could a word from the league office changed the trajectory for the Falcons next Thursday? We'll talk about it in what's next. But first, let's get the crew's thoughts with a look forward. It's kind of a look back. So, Tori, when you look back two or three years from now, and you're pontificating on what the 2024 draft looked like for the Atlanta Falcons ORG,

Speaker 594.7s - 97.8s

what would make you say, yeah, that was a good draft?

Speaker 698.4s - 102.7s

Well, considering that the only thing I've talked about since 2021

Speaker 5102.7s - 105.24s

is the Falcons drafting an Eddrusher PERSON.

Speaker 2107.04s - 117.84s

If they could get, you know, in two to three years has 16, 17, 18, 25 sacks.

Speaker 5117.84s - 120.86s

I'm like, I would be okay with that.

Speaker 4121.96s - 127.72s

I truly like, I don't know, though. I go back and forth because I have,

Speaker 5127.9s - 183.34s

I've been burned on this so many times. I know I've said it before, but I've been burned so many times where I'm like, oh, the Falcons will draft an Eddresher in the first round and then they don't. And granted, like, you could make the argument that I worked out with Bejan PERSON, it worked out with Drake. Like, it worked out in that first year with Kyle PERSON. But like, at the end of the day, I don't know. I just, I personally as someone who just loves defense, I love the strategy of defense. It's my, like, bread and butter. It's how I see the game. I feel like I watch the game through a defensive lens more often than not. And that is where I don't know. Again, if they could get one of those edge rushers, if Dallas Turner at number eight or Jared versus number eight,or if they want to move down and draft an eddresser, then they end up having a really good first two years in the league,

Speaker 0183.4s - 185.64s

I'm more than okay with that.

Speaker 5186.4s - 187.68s

Yeah, I would say the same.

Speaker 6187.78s - 238.18s

I think it's somewhat challenging for all four of us, not to be a little bit triggered with all of the hopes and dreams and aspirations that were crushed for three straight years. So we're like afraid to get excited or get happy, even when we see that our partners at Fandle ORG have Dallas Turner as one of the onesthat the Falcons ORG will go with, our challenge is who they said was the other option, which is an offensive player. So I totally get what you're saying. It makes perfect sense. And I know the Jarvis PERSON probably feels the same in terms of just a little bit of trepidation on where they'll go at eight. But in looking back a couple years from now, what would make you happy to say, oh, wow, yeah, that was a good draft. And even if it's not just ape, but kind of, even if realistically. T. Tori PERSON's about to give me emotional right now.

Speaker 2240.02s - 354s

Because it's been a long time coming because you know me. I played a position, you know what I'm saying? Obviously not to that high of a level. But when you think about on third and long, a guy, multiple guys, that's where I'll be. That's why I'm saying that right. Not just one guy, not just the guy they drafted in the first round. They're able to find somebody in that first round and in that mid round as well because we know past rushers and throughout this NFL ORG history. They've been found all up and down the drive. It's not like quarterbacks where most of the time you're going to find your face of the franchise in their first round of the draft. It's guys that have been drafting fifth, six undrafted, and they've been coming into the league and wrecking shop. And I want to see multiple guys. If he's able to get two guys, I ain't going to ask for much. You're able to get two guys three years from now. I know that's probably asking much, but my standards are high guy, dog,if they can get two guys that can come in and have some type of impact on this defense from a sacking the quarterback standpoint, I feel like this, I would look back and I would like, all right, Terry PERSON, you know, I ain't going to call you out in the offseason anymore if you're able to find two guys that can rush a quarterback on a consistent basis. Let me get a defensive tackle too, you know, edge rusher, these tackle that can put some pressure up the middle,a young guy that can come in and spell David on Yamada PERSON and Grady Jared and push that pocket and put the quarterback on the ground. Oh, my gosh. He's talking about, oh, Jimmy Lake PERSON going to be up for a head coaching gig. That's how I know this job will be successful. Is Jimmy Lake is it up for a head coaching gig in the next two, three years? That's how you know, Terry PERSON, if I know, did his job and you'll be saying, everybody be saying, man, man, that doggone 2024, something else.

Speaker 6355.72s - 383.44s

Okay, so Aaron, you know, I'm going to give you some encouragement because I was feeling a little like Sam Cook PERSON was in my head. A change is going to come. So a couple years from now, will you say that 2024 was the change that came? Because finally, you got that defensive player drafted in that first round. Or you looked across the landscape of the 2024 draft and you really liked what you saw.

Speaker 1384.24s - 467.44s

Well, I mean, if we're talking about a successful draft in 2024, and we're talking about, you know, what that it looks like two to three years from now. Well, you know, I'm hoping two to three years from now, the Falcons ORG, like we're doing one of these shows in late January talking about the Falcons ORG playing somebody in the NFC championship game, right? And I'm hoping that whoever we play, let's say it's the Detroit Lions ORG or something like that, that past rushers, or I should say past rushers that Jarvis is talking about the Falcons ORG adding, we're going to look at that matchup between our front and a really good Lions ORG offensive line and feel like, hey, this is favoring the Falcons ORG, right? Because they were able to kind of lay the foundation for what could be one of the better pass rushes in the NFL starting in this year's draft. So that to me is kind of the story of this year's draft. And hopefully in addition to a couple of pass rushers, maybe to get an offensive weapon or two that you like in that matchup, you know, maybe a corner that can, you know, someone can cover Amman Ross St. Brown or whoever is the Lions number one wide receiver. Like, you know, just I'm looking forward to that NFC championship matchup between the Falcons ORG and the Lions, just to throw one team out there in two to three years that, you know, some of the matchups really favor the Falcons because they were able to lay the foundation in this draft. Okay.

Speaker 5467.56s - 480.78s

I need to add something really quick because we've been talking a lot about the defense, but I think we also could note that the 2024 draft in order for it to be a good draft also sets up a succession plan for quarterback beyond the Kirk Cousins years.

Speaker 0481.04s - 527.1s

That is something that the more and more I'm thinking about it, the more and more I think about this draft, does that mean you go out and get a Michael Pinnock's Jr. in the bottom of the first round or early second round? Probably not. I don't, I don't necessarily think that that's the move per se, but something, let's say the Falcons trade down and they get a future first round pick that hypothetically they could package in 2025 to move up to get maybe one of the premier quarterbacks in that draft classwho in turn sits a year maybe two behind Kirk Cousins PERSON as he kind of finishes out his contract and then you have a Jordan Love, Patrick Mahones PERSON type of situation where your guy, your heir, a parent has the time to develop behind someone like a Kirk Cousins PERSON who has been a vet in this league for a long time.

Speaker 5527.66s - 538.94s

That would also change how I look at the 2024 draft. If the 2024 draft sets up a succession plan at quarterback in a way that is productive for the Falcons ORG in let's say,

Speaker 6539.48s - 547.8s

2026, 2027 and beyond, I think I could look back in 2024 and be like, that was a good draft.

Speaker 5548.38s - 553.18s

Yeah. And I would agree with you on that one because I've been saying that for a while now that

Speaker 6553.18s - 609.3s

all of this interest and all of this buildup to the 2024 draft class, like it's 2024 draft to QB or bust. And I've been saying for a while now, Tori, is anybody taking a look at the 2025 draft class? Not just, you know, for the Falcons ORG, but even overall, there's a Shadour Sanders, there's a Carson Beck PERSON. And there could be some players, some quarterbacks who really, really set the world on fire in 2024 that all of a sudden rise to the top of the board in 25. I've been saying that for a minute, Tori, like, come on now. This is not going to be the class of 2024. And then there's a drop off of QBs for like the next three, four, five years. There's a quality class coming behind them. So I totally agree with you on that. There's still a way to kind of build a plan that still gets you a guy so that when Kirk Cousins PERSON does right off into the sunset, you'll have someone who can, with sustainability for the success.

Speaker 0609.64s - 613.26s

And then just to add as we wrap up, one of the things I was thinking about, too,

Speaker 6613.34s - 755.18s

as you guys are talking about pass rush and just what would make you happy a couple years from now or give the Falcons ORG and thumbs up is if instead of going for the guy who's going to be the premier receiver at his position or even doing too much to go after the guy who would be tossing that guy the ball wouldn't it be nice if you had the edge rusher or the corner who stopped jaden daniels or who stopped caleb williams PERSON or who stopped romeadunze or who put malique neighbors or Marvin Roma Dunezay PERSON or who putMalik neighbors or Marvin Harrison Jr. PERSON in check. So that to me would be successful as well. Those guys that have been at the top of the board for the class of 2024 at those positions would be stopped by a falcon on the defensive side because the Falcons ORG made the right call. That would make me say congrats. You had a successful 2024 draft. When we come back, speaking of draft, our second half of the mock draft, we made the case for a couple of the rounds.Last week, we're going to continue that with our crew in the deep dive. This episode of the Atlanta football party is brought to you by eBay Motors ORG. As you can see, we've got the passion and we have got the drive and we've been pretty patient because we've been waiting for forever for this NFL draft to commence. Speaker 0756.3s - 785.74s

Craig PERSON is usually a fan of water cooler talk, but it's draft season, and that's all anyone wants to talk about. The Athletic has loads of articles about this year's draft, but Greg PERSON doesn't have the athletic, so now he's filling up his water bottle in the bathroom's sink, which to remind you is the sink people use after they use the bathroom. Get the athletic and get the info you need to speak draft fluently.

Speaker 6787.24s - 811.24s

All right, guys, it's make the case for your MOX 2.0 PRODUCT. We started off last week with our rounds one through two. So now we're going to pick up where we left off with round three. The number 74 pick is on the board. The number 79 pick that the Falcons ORG picked up from Jacksonville is on the board. Aaron, where do we go? Where do you see the Falcons going in round three?

Speaker 1811.72s - 851.86s

Well, as a reminder of the folks that didn't watch last week or did watch last week, I had Dallas Turner in Kamari Lasseter in the first two rounds. So I need to get my wide receiver here in round three. I'm going with Jalen McMillan, the wide receiver at a Washington. And, you know, because Jarvis PERSON is such an inspiration to me, I got to get that detackle. And that is Mason Smith from LSU ORG. Woohoo! A young, talented player that, you know, injuries and certain other factors kind of derailedhis collier. It looked very promising. But I think absolutely could be a steal in getting him to work behind Grady Jared and David Anyamata PERSON. I think he can really blossom into a superstar in the middle of defense. I like it.

Speaker 6851.92s - 870.32s

I like it. And so are you going with that one pick and maybe packaging that other pick in the third round or are you looking for them to maybe do a little something? Oh, well, I guess you've gone wide receiver and detackle. That's good. So if they go, however, with one, let me rephrase that and say, if they go,

Speaker 0870.44s - 883.4s

however, with one, which one of those would you be looking at saying, hey, you can kind of package that with something else because you want to, you know, you want to have some, some negotiating power and kind of having some assets there. Here's the thing. I'll package.

Speaker 5883.4s - 885.48s

And you can go to. Okay. No, no, no, that's perfect. That is thing. I'll package. And you can go to me. So. Okay.

Speaker 6885.64s - 885.88s

No, no,

Speaker 5885.88s - 887.4s

no, that's perfect. That is perfect.

Speaker 4887.64s - 889.78s

I was sorry. I got excited to answer.

Speaker 2890.18s - 890.62s

Let's go.

Speaker 6890.82s - 892.38s

Yeah. Go, Tori. Go.

Speaker 4893.38s - 896.06s

That's good.

Speaker 6896.12s - 901.66s

I feel better, Tori, because I felt like, did I explain myself at all? Or did I sound like a bumbling idiot?

Speaker 5901.86s - 979.36s

So thank you for like. I was ready to package both third round picks to get back in the second round. Like I was ready. I'm ready to do some movement. I think the Falcons ORG are from a roster standpoint. I think that you have specific things that you need, which at this point in time, I don't think we could have said that in previous drafts to this point. Like you had so much depth that you, I mean, you were drafting guys who were going to have to come in and play immediately. Like you, you just were because of the nature of the roster. And now I feel like the Falcons ORG like arguably, and this is something that I've talked to Terry Fontno PERSON about in a couple of interviews that I've done with him since like ownersmeetings, but it's like the Falcons ORG as a construct, as a roster right now, could probably go out and play a game and be okay. And, you know, you wouldn't have as much depth as you probably would like, but you can fill the team right now walking out and looking at the team in April. But so that's kind of where I'm like, I'm okay with not having as many draft picks as in years past. And so I'm okay with packaging these third rounders and potentially trying to seesome movement upwards back up into the second round to get somebody who could be more of a let's go in and right now and they can be a playmaker.

Speaker 6980.08s - 1002.32s

So Tori, let's go with what Free PERSON said as well. That's a great point that you make because he was able to give us like just a quick recap of where he went in the first and second round last week. And I know you didn't have a chance to do that. But let's kind of package both of the things that you're saying, who would you have gone with in round one and round two? And then in the scenario where you would package those two picks to go back to the second round, who that guy beat. Yeah.

Speaker 51002.42s - 1007.12s

So I definitely would move down beyond number eight and pick up

Speaker 41007.12s - 1016.9s

really some more traffic. I'm going to what I was saying before where it's like I want to get a

Speaker 51016.9s - 1065.74s

future first rounder and I want to move down in round one and potentially get like a Jared verse or any of those top cornerbacks. I think a lot of those cornerbacks, whether it's Terry and Arnold or Nate Wiggins PERSON or Quignon Mitchell, all of those guys I think are going to be available from 15 to 20. And I would be honestly, like, I'd be okay with that. And then having potentially an extra second round pick so now you have two second round picks you could honestly again use your third round picks move back up into the second round and then you're just kind of picking it off and you're like okay let's go get a receiver in the second round let's get an edge rusher maybe two edge rushers maybe a detackle so even though I know I'm not I'm not names, but it's just like the construct of the

Speaker 41065.74s - 1072.88s

I am kind of like I'm willing to put a lot. I like the depth. I think you're going to get a lot of

Speaker 51072.88s - 1091.64s

really good depth pieces at wide receiver and detackle and edge in that second round. I like what I see in that second round in terms of guys who aren't going to be first round draft picks, but can provide something for you. So yeah, if they want see in that second round in terms of guys who aren't going to be first round draft picks, but can provide something for you. So, yeah, if they want to have three second round draft picks, I'm okay with that.

Speaker 61092.28s - 1101.56s

Or, Tori, if the draft kind of lands where we think it will, where you'll get that run of QBs and then you'll have teams in that panic mode,

Speaker 41101.56s - 1105.7s

and then they'll go run after what should have been second round QVs to get them in the first round.

Speaker 01105.7s - 1121.54s

Same thing could happen for wide receivers. You know how that run goes. Then it starts to become, I think, a situation where it plays into the Falcons ORG favor for potentially what you said and could still play into, could still play a possible.

Speaker 61121.84s - 1121.94s

Yeah.

Speaker 51122.14s - 1125.36s

You can still get some of the guys that Aaron just mentioned.

Speaker 61125.72s - 1130.06s

For the Falcons ORG is a run on these quarterbacks. That's what I say too.

Speaker 51130.22s - 1133.46s

Go for it. Your best defensive guys are falling.

Speaker 61133.76s - 1135.96s

Honestly, some of them are going to fall out of the top 10

Speaker 31135.96s - 1139.14s

because there's going to be this panic mode with the Broncos ORG,

Speaker 61139.26s - 1140.1s

with the Raiders ORG,

Speaker 31140.42s - 1144.72s

trying to move up with Minnesota ORG.

Speaker 51144.72s - 1154.18s

That to me is something that can happen. And it is like trending in that way. trying to move up with Minnesota ORG. Like that to me is something that can happen and it is like trending in that way when you talk about it. And if you're the Falcons ORG, you're like, go ahead.

Speaker 61154.6s - 1156.12s

Love to see it.

Speaker 51156.24s - 1186.18s

Thank you guys. Like we'll be there at whatever you need us to be and we'll get a dang good defensive guy. I think that's honestly. And then also, like let's say that doesn't happen. Let's say a guy like Bonex PERSON and Michael Pinnock's Jr.falls into the second round. Do you package to go up and get one of those guys? I actually had that. I did a top 50 mock draft last week, and I had the Falcons ORG. There weren't any trades, so it was very unrealistic. But I did have them kind of like looking at it Michael

Speaker 61186.18s - 1205.18s

Pennix Jr. and kind of being like, why not? Yeah. No, I'm good with that. And Jarvis PERSON, take us back to your first and second round picks from last week and let us know how you want to maneuver or see the Falcons maneuver in the third round. Well, you know, T PERSON, you know, I'm a, I like talent.

Speaker 21205.3s - 1205.94s

I like potential.

Speaker 61206s - 1208.62s

Hey, guys, and Jarvis goes into his Barry White PERSON mode.

Speaker 21208.74s - 1209.86s

Yeah. Keep you care.

Speaker 61213s - 1221s

For you all who don't know Barry White PERSON, go look it up. He's like the original baritone dude. Okay, Jarvis PERSON, tell us what you can be.

Speaker 21221.34s - 1222.44s

So Aaron is gone, right?

Speaker 61222.68s - 1229.02s

The Aaron is done for right now. So I'm going to go ahead and see if I can kind of keep this thing on the track, right? You know, put this train back on the track. So, all right.

Speaker 21229.38s - 1335.7s

First round, I went with Dallas Turner. You know, I love his potential what he's able to potentially bring. Not only in the first year, I feel like there's going to be some development, but I feel like that ceiling is very, very high as far as Ed's Rush's ORG goal. So I went with Dallas Turner with the eighth overall pick. And then hashtag, Coupe PERSON can play corner. You know, Cooper the Gene, the cornerback, the cornerback, not the DB, the cornerback out of hour. He failed to me in this particular my draft. So, you know, that's what I went in the second round. I feel like he has a lot. He can bring it to say, well, yeah, I can return some puns too. So you and, and, and, and, you know, that's what I went in the second round. I feel like he has a lot. He can bring a table. Yeah, I can return some plus two.So, and, and, Aaron, you know, I saw that video before we went on last week, before we did our mock draft, the man had the falcon symbol in high school. He was a falcon in high school. So let's go ahead and make this man a falcon in the NFL ORG. And which brings me to my third round pick, right? So this is a guy that I was super, super excited about. Braden Fis PERSON, the defensivetag on the state, I feel like he, the guy that really kind of popped at the senior bowl and just went to the combine and just absolutely just chilted, just so smooth and everything. You just, that's what you look for when you talk about guys that are, you know, athletic that can kind of move and they have that really strong technique. They're just so fluid and everything out there when they're going through those drills. So I think he's a guy that'll be there. And also, you know, sometimes I kind of cringe when I hear this. I went best player available with the number 79 pick. Cole Bishop, safety out of Utah, six, six to207 pounds, ran a 4-4 at the combine. He's a guy that can come in and, you know, kind of push, oh, my God, why was his name?

Speaker 41336.3s - 1336.88s

Richie Grant PERSON.

Speaker 21337.2s - 1337.74s

Yeah, Richard Grant PERSON.

Speaker 41337.84s - 1341.8s

So, yeah, I feel like, you know, I went a little best player available to, you know, how I am.

Speaker 01341.94s - 1350.02s

You know, I don't kind of, you know, that kind of gets people stupid sometimes I feel yeah I went I went best player available and I'll drive to the safety out of Utah

Speaker 21350.02s - 1355.58s

Cole Bishop PERSON I love it I love it well we're going to go through some of those later rounds the

Speaker 61355.58s - 1434.22s

four round through seven which will actually be perfect because that'll give our audience one more tease before it goes down for real next Thursday and speaking to that now how it goes down for real next Thursday. And speaking to that now, how it goes down next Thursday might be dictated by something that at this point is out of the hands of the Falcons ORG for next Thursday. This episode of our Atlanta football party is also brought to you by Fandall ORG. It's playoff time in the NBA and NHL ORG, baseball's back in full swing and Fandul ORG is your place to bet on every game. But we also sneakily told you guys that they also have some of the picks for the NFL draft, including where they think the Falcons ORG can go. So keep a look at that as well. Right now, new customers get $150 in bonus bets. Guaranteed, that's $150 win or lose. As you know, the customers get $150 in bonus bets. Guaranteed that's $150,000 win or lose. As you know, the playing tournament for the NBA starts tomorrow, and then they're going to be knee-deep in playoffs until June. So plenty of opportunity for you to bet there. And you can bet on everything from slap shots, rather, in the NHL ORG to home runs. We're watching you, Ronald Ocuner Jr. PERSON, to slam dunks all on an app that is safe,an app that is secure, and an app that is user-friendly. So what are you waiting for? Visit fandle.com slash locked on and make your first bet an automatic when. That's fandle.com slash locked on. You can get that on your mobile. You can get that on your tablet because it's America's number one sports book. Fandle is America's number one sports book. Okay, guys, so Jarvis, we have a little situation that could actually kind of turn things upside down from anything that we've talked about today as far as where as the Falcons might be able to go in the NFL ORG draft because the league is currently in the process of closing its investigation on the Falcons, possibly tampering with quarterback Kirk Cousins PERSON, an indicator of what thatpunishment might be, what could be meted out, and when could be looking back to 2023 and how they handled the Jonathan Gannon PERSON situation, just to kind of give a recap, the Philadelphia Eagles and the Arizona Cardinals settled that investigation regarding the Cardinals hiring Gannon as their new head coach with the team swapping third round picks and then that for last year. And then Arizona receiving Philly's fifth round pick this year. So my question to you is this, Jarvis PERSON, when you kind of think about that, could about Balkans, Vikings ORG tampering settlement be announced maybe before round one of this year's draft and have some similar repercussions? I don't know, to be honest,

Speaker 21593.5s - 1602.98s

because here's the thing. I think when you go through the article that was put out there, of course, by pro football talk, Mike Floreo PERSON, it seems a little personal.

Speaker 61604.02s - 1610.86s

Yeah, I thought that was more less at less journalistic and more editorial, but I'm just saying.

Speaker 21611.1s - 1694.94s

Yes, definitely definitely the latter. You know, and my whole thing is like he's going to bet all this is based off of what he said in the press conference, right? Because I feel like, you know, Falcons ORG have an excellent PR staff, you know, and there is some, I feel like Kirk Cousin would be prepared if the NFL ORG comes to him and say, hey, we want to talk to you about these interactions that you had. I'm sure that they will be, you know, have him prepared to be able to answer the questionsthe right way because it could have been a fraudulent slip, like, you know or the other like he's like oh yeah i got my dates mixed up because you know ideas when guys get signed like they're going through all these things people hitting them up people reach it now and and the fact that he even mentioned that players were reaching out to players there ain't nothing overrules saying players can't reach out to players like so what are we actually really talking about if you you mentioned in that along with this so i feel like it's, I don't think it's that big of a deal, but I seriously doubt, seriously doubt that it would be, they will swap first round picks if it were some type of,were some type of penalty for, you know, tampering or whatever. So, yeah, I feel like this is, I'm not going to say it's a non-story, but I don't feel like this will be something that everybody will be talking about because they're like, oh, my God, they had to swap first round picks and now they got to pay a fine as well. So, yeah, I don't think it gets that far.

Speaker 61695.56s - 1756.2s

Yeah, and I don't think, free, when you compare what happened with the Eagles and Cardinals with Bannon and them swapping third round picks in the draft last year, I don't see where anything we've heard, whether it's what you read in that article on NBCSports.com, or what you've heard since the day that this became an issue or an investigation, I still don't think we've heard anything either that would rise to the level of a swapping of first round picks or even second round, to be honest. I think this might be right there at the level of third round. Or if you look at maybe what happened in a previous investigation when it was about pumping in noise, if you will, the Falcons ORG. Because of your reputation, I think some of that matters. The Falcons ORG have a good reputation as an organization and not being an organization that has violated league rules. I think some of that comes into play and should come into play in whatever penalty is meted out by the league.

Speaker 11756.76s - 1865.34s

Yeah, I think that's definitely fair. You know, my response to this whole story is similar to Jarvis PERSON. I don't know, right? Like it's just like, we'll find out when we find out, right? The NFL ORG, you know, sometimes drags their feet on things like this, and we might not learn anything about this in nine months from now,or it could be nine days from now. You just never know. It's just like they'll drop that bomb whenever they drop that bomb. And, you know, sort of how big the explosion is, I guess we'll find out. Like, I guess the thing I said a couple weeks weeks ago when this first was a story that first, second week of March on a lockdown falcons was, you know, when you look back at the 20 plus years of Roger Goodell being the NFL ORG commissioner,I don't think there's ever been a team or a fan base or a coach or a player that has ever felt like they got a fair punishment. So I think going into this, expecting the Falcons ORG to get off lightly, I don't know if I agree with that, but at the same time, like, what is a fair punishment? Is it losing a mid-round pick? Is it losing a late-round pick? Is it getting fined?Again, I don't know. That's the thing that's sort of unknown to me. And, you know, Jarvis PERSON is right. Like Mike Florio PERSON has been really going hard on this the you know the last six or so weeks it's been um which you know it's his prerogative to do i guess like you know there's not a whole lot else going on with the falcons off season at this pointtime so uh i guess this is the big story that he feels compelled to talk about so i i'm very curious to see how it all plays out and what the timeline is. But yeah, I'm not going into this expecting the Falcons to lose a first round pick or anything crazy like that. But, you know, the NFL is the NFL and Roger Goodell PERSON is, is known for making examples out of teams from time to time at random points. And so we'll just sort of see how it all plays out.

Speaker 61866.06s - 1879.96s

So Tori, we'll talk about a more salacious issue. What will the Falcons do with their third helmet when they get an opportunity to add to the uniform room in 2025? Tori, what say you?

Speaker 41880.3s - 1890.2s

I was literally just like doing this the whole time. No one talked to me. No one's saying anything to me. Helmets.

Speaker 51893.48s - 1898.12s

Honestly, I'm just like, I love the red helmets so much.

Speaker 41899.76s - 1901.88s

They just want to wear it all the time.

Speaker 51901.96s - 1902.78s

I'm okay with that.

Speaker 41902.78s - 1905.5s

A lot of people love that red helmet.

Speaker 61905.82s - 1906.36s

Not delayed.

Speaker 41907.18s - 1916.66s

But New Orlando Ledbetter PERSON wants to jump off a cliff in traffic before he wants them to wear that red helmet again.

Speaker 61916.66s - 1917.88s

They are so sharp.

Speaker 11918.12s - 1923.6s

Like look at all the photos that our team photo photographers are like they are so good.

Speaker 61924.1s - 1926.22s

Like I love the red helmets.

Speaker 11926.36s - 1927.5s

And I realize, like,

Speaker 61928.14s - 1930.78s

I'm not in, I'm not a superstitious person.

Speaker 11931.32s - 1933.5s

Like, I, I, I think, like,

Speaker 61934.5s - 1935.42s

like, we trigger.

Speaker 51936.06s - 1939.74s

Superstition is a way for us as humans to think that we have control over things that we

Speaker 41939.74s - 1940.86s

don't have control over.

Speaker 31941.16s - 1943.84s

So that's on therapy and mental health.

Speaker 41945.58s - 1949.84s

Yes. Better help, by the way. Better help. Better help. Better help you. Better help. Better help.

Speaker 31950s - 1957.58s

Better help is for you. I love. I'm not into this whole thing about like these red helmets are like cursed.

Speaker 41957.74s - 1962.98s

Like no, they're not. Like there's that's not happening. Which is sorry to people who like do believe in

Speaker 51962.98s - 1966.2s

that kind of stuff. But I don't when it comes to, like, sports.

Speaker 41966.72s - 1968.58s

Yeah, it's not that serious, man.

Speaker 31968.66s - 1970.06s

See, I got to go with that white helmet.

Speaker 41970.5s - 1971.28s

That thing is.

Speaker 11971.82s - 1972.76s

Yeah.

Speaker 21973.12s - 1974.78s

I would love to see how that white.

Speaker 11974.78s - 1979.38s

Like, found from, like, 1974, some mock up from, like, decades ago.

Speaker 41979.86s - 1980.68s

It's kind of fly.

Speaker 21981.12s - 1981.48s

Yeah.

Speaker 61982.02s - 1983s

I'll, I'll rock with that.

Speaker 51983s - 1987.66s

I might even purchase one, you know, you know. What about the, like, all black with the old logo? I like that one, too. Yeah, I'll rock with that. I might even purchase one, you know what? What about the like all black with the old logo?

Speaker 41988.08s - 1989.04s

I like that one too.

Speaker 61989.2s - 1989.78s

Oh, yeah.

Speaker 51989.9s - 1990.06s

Oh, yeah.

Speaker 21990.98s - 1991.58s

That's nice.

Speaker 51992s - 1992.96s

Jerry Glanbill PERSON.

Speaker 61993.24s - 1993.68s

Yeah.

Speaker 21994.08s - 1995.04s

Yeah, very right.

Speaker 51995.28s - 1995.88s

That's just.

Speaker 21996.12s - 1996.6s

Too legit.

Speaker 61996.8s - 1996.82s

And you know what?

Speaker 51996.82s - 1997.6s

That's that tag.

Speaker 21997.9s - 1999.24s

Yeah, that's that edge.

Speaker 61999.32s - 1999.9s

That's the one.

Speaker 22000.02s - 2000.72s

You heard it here first.

Speaker 52001.02s - 2002.1s

Yeah, no question.

Speaker 62002.46s - 2007.7s

So, Free, if you go, if you go with the white helmet as your third option, like, what does that uniform look like?

Speaker 42008.82s - 2009.62s

I don't know.

Speaker 22009.88s - 2010.16s

I don't know.

Speaker 42010.16s - 2013.12s

Because I've never seen like a color rush white falcons uniform.

Speaker 12013.28s - 2015.98s

Like I can't look at the one anyway in my head.

Speaker 62015.98s - 2017.94s

And please don't like throw me off the pod.

Speaker 12018.1s - 2024.66s

But in my head, I see the color rush for the saints because they have like one of the better color rush uniforms and all white.

Speaker 62024.7s - 2025.88s

But that's where my head kind of went. But yeah, a white helmet I think would be nice for the Saints because they have like one of the better color rush uniforms and all white, but that's where my head kind of went.

Speaker 02025.96s - 2033.34s

But yeah, a white helmet I think would be nice for the falcons. I'd just be interested in seeing what that might look like, you know, full uniform.

Speaker 62033.58s - 2039.7s

But yeah, D-led, maybe that will then minimize the number of times they wear the red uniform

Speaker 42039.7s - 2042s

because we don't want the OG triggered like that.

Speaker 62042.14s - 2043.78s

Yeah, we just don't want the OG triggered.

Speaker 42044.1s - 2064.44s
