Then you see him in the second half, third, end of the third going into the fourth quarter. He's guarding Embed PERSON. And Bid then is struggling to find a shot with O.G. ORG on him. Forget, wait at this point. Just put our best defenderonto their MVP player and he was shut down in the second half. So not only did he do that defensively. We got to talk about the shot making too because he was using his body to create his own space, knocked down mid-range jumpers, finishing through contact to get dunks. I mean,he had like Ubrey PERSON, Embed PERSON, everybody fouling him on a putback. And I'm like, wait a minute, that's not a foul.But Embed PERSON, man, he's just showing his toughness. Something that I've been asking for Oji PERSON to do a lot more consistently. But what he did in that first half, and we saw him clean it up a lot more than the second half,but him going right at Embed PERSON every single time. If he just would control the layup at the end, every single time Embed PERSON, while he's backpedaling, was having a problem this entire game. Anytime you caught Embed PERSON backpedaling at all,you can tell something he didn't want to do. To the point where we saw Brunson had that one wide open layup at the end of the game, where M.B. PERSON didn't even bother to go over and trying to help because he knew he wasn't going to get there in time. So O.J. and Noby PERSON, I felt like it did such a good job at applying that pressure offensively throughout the entire game. And then, yes, the mid-range jumper. I am the biggest fan of O.G. Anobie adopting the Kauai-Lennard ORG mid-range jumper.If that is a consistent thing out of O'JNobie PERSON, caught me in. Because Kau-Lennard PERSON, when he's healthy, is one of my favorite players in the league just for the mere fact that he's just efficient as all can be. If OJANN-Nobie PERSON gets that mid-range jumper,it's wraps. I'm telling you, once O-J, if that's what he does in off-season, we bring him back on board. That's his thing. I'm telling you, don't let OJ get a mid-range jumper. I'm here for it.I'm signing it up. But, yeah. Yeah, but I was just going to then talk about the defense. Yeah, to your point, I love, love, love the way that Tibbs PERSON and O.G. and Precious PERSON did a good job of being able to go back and forth between the Tobias and Joel Embed PERSON switchoff.They did it so seamlessly where it was like, perfect. You start with OG on them because OG is so good at denying. I don't think they get enough credit because it's just not a sexy thing in the NBA ORG, but denial is huge. And OG and and OB, like you saw Embed PERSON struggling to get position to even get the opportunity to get the ball. That's all OG. And the fact that the reps were standing right there and letting them play, I was like, yes, this is what we need.Defense is good. Like, this is fun. Like, look at this. Joel PERSON's fighting. He's throwing elbows. OG's not even bothered.Afro PERSON's getting moved and stuff. He's still denying, denying, denying it. Even then when he would get the ball, then OG's already in position to the point where he had to pass it back out. And then in instances where they were able to get shed OG off, precious steps right into it.It's just the way that they closed out this game defensively. Like, yeah, it was great to see us get the points and Brunson PERSON's night and everything's great. But defensively in that fourth quarter, 89 PRODUCT points for almost five straight minutes until they finally started getting free throws toward the end.Like, it was just such a masterclass. And again, I can't say it enough. It's just the perfect description of what this Knicks team has been this season. I feel like I say that so many times in these post games. But like, we're seeing the accumulation of what put us in the secondseed happen on a nightly basis. And tonight was just a perfect example. Player gets injured. Player gets in foul trouble. It doesn't bother us. We still able to next man up. A guy who has not playeda lot of minutes in pressure Chua PERSON gets right into the lineup. Does a great job against an MVP caliber or MBD. Those type of adjustments and trusting of players is so critical for someone like Tiz PERSON because we've seen him be so rigid in making such changes mid-game. From an offensive standpoint during the regular season, we saw he incorporated more movement to help Brunton PERSON and everybody else get more involved in the offense. There was two times I remember him. I don't remember when, but I remember them very, very, very,very well, where he would drive, have one man in front of them. And instead of going all the way and drawing contact or making the layup, he elected to turn around past the ball to OG where he almost got to charge. I hated that. And there was the other instance where he had numbers. It was him on what one or two guys that could easily dribble past because we've seen him do it. But he instead decided to slow downand let the defense recover and the offense recover. Those are my instances with Josh Hart PERSON. But as far as the intangibles and the big and important plays, there's a reason why he played.As I said 42, he played 46 minutes tonight. 17 rebounds.
