Speaker 80s - 10.98s
Hey, it's Big Joe for your trusted local independent American standard heating and air conditioning dealer, Absolute Comfort ORG. Chris Weddickin PERSON is the owner, and he tells us why many homeowners are giving up their air conditioners for a high-efficiency heat pump.
Speaker 511.18s - 22s
By removing your air conditioner and replacing it with a heat pump, you are not only saving by getting a higher efficiency air conditioner. The heat pump works in reverse and saves you money in the wintertime as well.
Speaker 822.28s - 29.88s
See if a heat pump is the right move for you by going to absolute comfort.org. Absolute comfort is your trusted local independent American NORP standard heating and air conditioning dealer.
Speaker 1030.44s - 31.72s
Hammer and Nigel PERSON.
Speaker 931.76s - 33.62s
Do you believe these characters are weird of us?
Speaker 833.92s - 34.94s
So let's rock it.
Speaker 935.5s - 36.6s
My name is Nigel PERSON.
Speaker 1436.74s - 40.78s
Jason Hammer right over there, the day after the Indiana GPE primary.
Speaker 941.02s - 42.34s
What are the major headlines?
Speaker 1442.44s - 53.88s
What are we looking at here? Lots of contentious races. We have Mike Braun PERSON winning the nomination for governor. We have banks ran unopposed for
Speaker 1753.88s - 58.72s
senator, right? Do you throw a party, like a victory party if you run unopposed?
Speaker 1458.92s - 69.4s
We're supposed to talk to, I think Jim Banks next week sometime. And like, are you obligated to say congratulations? Right. When you run unopposed to get 100% of the vote.
Speaker 1769.52s - 72.94s
Do you pop the cork on the champagne? Like as soon as the polls close.
Speaker 1472.94s - 84.92s
It's a good question. All right. We beat nobody's ass. That's what I'm talking about. I think for you, the way, you know, we've been talking about this, you know, in the back. Low voter turnout.Yeah.
Speaker 1785.02s - 87.28s
Something like 15% in Marion County GPE.
Speaker 1488.24s - 92.4s
And this was a race where you had Donald Trump PERSON on a ballot.
Speaker 1792.84s - 95.1s
You had the governor's race on a ballot.
Speaker 1495.58s - 128.12s
Senate ORG races, house seats. It wasn't like this was some off year DATE where you could say, you know, nobody cared. There was a lot of things in play yesterday. And boy, the numbers were bad. It was awful. Like we were talking to our boss, Dion PERSON, in the back. And he made a, you know, Dion PERSON's a regional vice president. He's big wig guys. I like our boss's boss is boss and boss's boss. And he made a great point. Do you really want 15% of the population deciding on who you're going to be voting for in November?
Speaker 17129.66s - 132.82s
Because that was the number of people that showed up to vote in the primary.
Speaker 14133.24s - 136.52s
15% of Marion County GPE registered voters.
Speaker 17136.6s - 138.8s
I don't know what it looks like statewide.
Speaker 14138.92s - 145.5s
I don't have those numbers in front of me. I couldn't find them. 19, almost 20% turnout in Boone County GPE. Okay.
Speaker 17145.62s - 174.18s
Right? That's not bad. That's not bad. We took phone calls yesterday, and of like the 10, 11 phone calls that we took about voting experiences, only, what, two had any sort of line yesterday? So the parties, Republican and Democrat NORP, it's both. They're going to have to figure out some sort ofway to fire up their bases to get them out there to vote. Because it was
Speaker 14174.18s - 177.66s
embarrassingly bad. I think you'll see a bigger turnout for the general, right?
Speaker 17178.04s - 196.8s
Well, yeah, you will. But I've always said, your local elections and your primaries matter, because these are the people trying to steal your money first. Before primaries matter because these are the people trying to steal your money first before anybody in Washington GPE, these are the people that are going to have their hands in your pockets first. So anything surprised you yesterday?
Speaker 14197.88s - 215.18s
Surprise. Well, you know, Sharif, Jefferson Sharif PERSON, who failed to tend to run for mayor of Marion County, won his race in the sixth. But that was a lot to do with, you know, there were two or three other. How many candidates total running in the sixth?
Speaker 17215.18s - 230.14s
Well, there were a lot, but really, speedy and carrier were the ones that kind of cannibalized each other. Like, if just one of those candidates dropped out or just one decided to run, I don't think Jefferson Shreve PERSON wins.
Speaker 0230.64s - 241.84s
But Speedy and Carrier kind of cannibalized each other and that put Jefferson Shreve PERSON over the top. Can I read you the email that I got earlier today? So again, it's no secret.
Speaker 14241.98s - 247.4s
I'm not a big Shreve fan for the crap that he tried to pull here in Marion County GPE. And you're a Marion County GPE voter.
Speaker 17247.7s - 285.96s
Right. Right. And I was all ready to be like his biggest fan until he stabbed people like me in the back. With the two-way stuff. So Joe Theme PERSON sends me an email, quote, wow, our guy won, multiple, multiple exclamation points. More issues than just your warped view of guns.Never will listen to your radio show again. Don't be so narrow-minded and negative. That's Joe Thiem PERSON sending me an email. I don't live in that district. Yeah, what's it matter to you? Right. And I love that
Speaker 6285.96s - 292.82s
I have a warped view of guns because I feel like I should have the right to defend myself and my family.
Speaker 14294.32s - 301.9s
Crazy ideas. You and your guns and your 2A support and your self-defense. How dare you? So I just wrote
Speaker 17301.9s - 303.94s
Joe PERSON back, bye. Bye.
Speaker 14306.9s - 320.66s
That meme from Tombstone GPE. Right I just wrote Joe back, bye. Bye. That meme from Tombstone. Right. That guy, well, bye. Bye. Congrats to a friend of the show, Hunter the Punter Smith PERSON. He walked away with 84% of the vote for state rep in my district.
Speaker 17323.54s - 340.8s
Every time he makes a speech somewhere, I expect him to punt. When he's all done, you know, I expect him to punt. When he's all done, you know, I expect him to just drop a football and punt off. Like remember when W. PERSON was doing a speech somewhere on the golf course and it was really important and he said all the things he needed to say. And then he turned and looked to the press and said,
Speaker 13341.18s - 348.16s
now watch this drive. I totally remember that. I want Hunter the Puncher PERSON to do that every single time.
Speaker 17349.22s - 351.46s
Congratulations to Jennifer Pace PERSON.
Speaker 14352.08s - 357.04s
She is the Indiana House ORG District 7 winner, despite the fact that she's not alive anymore.
Speaker 13357.04s - 358.26s
Yeah, that's real sad.
Speaker 14358.36s - 369.78s
She passed away from a heart attack in March, and it was sudden. It's, you know, no disrespect to the family, but yeah, I mean, a dead woman won District 7.
Speaker 17370.7s - 410.56s
Jennifer Pace beat Cat Ping, Philip Davis, and good old honest Gabe Whitley PERSON. Now, there's going to have to be some sort of special election, obviously, to fill that vacancy because Jennifer PERSON is no longer with us. But, man, what a great way to honor her legacy. Her family should be proud. She's not with us anymore. And she won. She absolutely won. What do we make of all these people on social media nige? Freaking out because Nikki Haley got 22% of the vote and the presidential race here in Indiana GPE, despite the fact that she's not in it anymore.
Speaker 0411.24s - 415.1s
Because there's a lot of never Trumpers going to social media going,
Speaker 19415.3s - 417.2s
this is a red flag.
Speaker 15417.2s - 427.62s
If she's getting 22% here in Indiana, this is a red flag for November. Trump still won by 80%. There's that.
Speaker 14427.92s - 428.12s
Yes.
Speaker 17428.46s - 442.32s
I mean, 20% like in Boone County GPE, for instance, Trump got almost 70% of the vote. 31% of Boone County residents voted for Nicky Ailey PERSON. Do you think anybody that casts a vote for Nikki Haley is going to cast a vote for Joe Biden in November?
Speaker 14442.78s - 447s
I do because I think some Democrats decided they wanted Republican NORP ballots.
Speaker 17447.26s - 458.66s
Because the Indiana primary is kind of an open primary, kind of open, where you go up and you show your ID and then say Republican or Democrat NORP ballot.
Speaker 14459.22s - 478.6s
Like if you're a super lib and you hate Donald Trump, you could just go up there and say, Republican NORP ballot and vote for all the people that are the opposite of the people the Republicans NORP want. So yeah, pump the brakes a little bit. There's a lot of people, oh my goodness, Donald Trump PERSON may be in trouble.
Speaker 0479.22s - 497.14s
No, Nikki Haley is not going to be on the ballot in November. Joe Biden is less likable than Donald Trump PERSON. And I have a hard time believing if it were indeed, I'm not sure that it was, but if it were indeed Republicans that voted for Nikki Haley yesterday, they're going to vote for Joe Biden PERSON?
Speaker 14497.32s - 507.46s
Yeah, that was my point. Yeah, I don't know. And like you said, some Democrats probably poked the Republican NORP button just to vote, you know. Right.
Speaker 17507.62s - 509.26s
To be a troll, basically.
Speaker 14509.56s - 551.8s
And you can do that in some of these primaries. Wild weather yesterday. Hat tip to producer Allison, who was here all night long, running the board, producing election coverage, special weather coverage. We had tornado touchdowns in parts of Indiana GPE. I think Rush County GPE had a good, well-put-together tornado touchdown. No injuries, though. And that's great. Thank God. That is amazing. Keeping our eye on the weather today. So again, keep it right here to 93 WIBC ORG. And also, hat tip to Big Nige PERSON.It's your birthday today. Oh, wow. Big Nige PERSON. Thank you. 31 years of age.
Speaker 17553.18s - 555.4s
How many years ago was that now?
Speaker 14557.1s - 557.62s
18.
Speaker 13558s - 562.3s
Okay. Now, I've turned 48 years old today.
Speaker 14562.68s - 566.24s
48 years old and you got the liver of a man that looks like he's 90.
Speaker 17567.6s - 568.9s
Big plans for tonight?
Speaker 14569.24s - 570.54s
Olive Garden ORG, baby.
Speaker 17570.76s - 571.3s
Yeah.
Speaker 13571.62s - 572.64s
Speaker 17572.82s - 573.84s
Fettuccini Alfredo?
Speaker 13574s - 575s
You bet your ass.
Speaker 14576.72s - 584.02s
No, I mean, the wife's out of town. She gets home tonight and we're just getting carry out, making it easy. And then we're going to go have a nice dinner on Saturday.
Speaker 17584.1s - 589.7s
Okay. Well, that's awesome. Here to deliver a special birthday message to you. Oh, my.
Speaker 14590.3s - 600.46s
Is AI Joe Biden. Hey, Nogail, happy, you know, happy St. Patrick's Day. I hope your day is filled with fun things to do.
Speaker 17601.22s - 606.12s
When I want to have fun, you know, I draw pictures of naked ladies. I scream
Speaker 20606.12s - 616.86s
at the toaster. I take eight naps a day and cap it off by pooping my pants. Merry Christmas, Kenny PERSON. I hope you have a great, you know, horse race.
Speaker 17618.28s - 620.1s
Special message from the
Speaker 14620.1s - 625.1s
AI president of the United States GPE. Miguel PERSON, I believe, is how he pronounced my name. He called you Kenny at the States. Miguel PERSON, I believe, is how he pronounced my name.
Speaker 17625.28s - 626.64s
He called you Kenny PERSON at the end.
Speaker 14628.88s - 633.66s

Speaker 11648.64s - 650.72s
It's a big day around here.
Speaker 17650.9s - 654.34s
Yeah? Your birthday, Nige PERSON. Oh, yeah, right.
Speaker 14654.54s - 657.86s
48 years old. Thank you for reminding everybody.
Speaker 17658.18s - 662.52s
Are you at the age now where you have to really sit back and think how old you really are? Yes.
Speaker 14663.4s - 667.48s
And I have to sit back and think when my birthday really is.
Speaker 17667.62s - 668.56s
What date is it?
Speaker 14669.56s - 671.56s
Oh, Frank PERSON, you forgot your birthday.
Speaker 17672.22s - 687.48s
You're a Frank the Tank PERSON in old school right now. I just, you know, it's just, it sneaks up on you. It does. It does. Earlier in the show, we had a special greeting from AI, Joe Biden PERSON. That was very special. That was touching, actually.
Speaker 14687.7s - 690.14s
But now it's time for the real McCoy PERSON.
Speaker 17690.68s - 696.76s
Here with an actual greeting for you is the president of the United States Joe Biden PERSON.
Speaker 0697.16s - 711.52s
Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday, dear Divers Island. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday, dear Valvin PERSON. Happy birthday to you.
Speaker 17712.04s - 713.28s
Happy birthday, Valvet PRODUCT.
Speaker 0714.5s - 715.68s
Warms the heart.
Speaker 17716.22s - 718.16s
Then the last AI greeting, he called me Kenny PERSON.
Speaker 14719.36s - 722.1s
So I guess Valvet PRODUCT can't do any worse than that.
Speaker 17722.58s - 728.04s
So you mentioned you're getting some Olive Garden ORG carryouts. Will that be placed in front of the tube tonight
Speaker 14728.04s - 730.44s
to watch the Pacers? Absolutely. 8 o'clock, right?
Speaker 17730.76s - 733.66s
Pacers and Knicks, Game 2. How are you feeling about tonight?
Speaker 14733.66s - 739.66s
I don't know. All the things they had
Speaker 17739.66s - 742.06s
going against them and they still lost, only lost by four.
Speaker 14742.76s - 751.62s
And that dude, is it Brocious PERSON? Brunson PERSON. Brunson put up 40. He's a stud, man. Play some D, guys. Play some D.
Speaker 17752.14s - 772.12s
And you got to get Halliburton ORG going. It feels like he's banged up, like that back. Looks like it might be a problem for him. But you got to get something out of Halliburton ORG. You got to get it a little bit more out of Seacum ORG, too. Because your bench guys can't always bail you out the way McConnell and Obie Toppin did in thatfirst game. Pacers plus four and a half now.
Speaker 14772.5s - 775.9s
Okay, so that went down from five and a half yesterday.
Speaker 17776.56s - 777.3s
So what's that mean?
Speaker 14777.82s - 781.5s
So it seems like the betting community thinks the Pacers ORG are going to keep it close.
Speaker 17781.5s - 786.42s
Now, I don't know how many people are betting Pacer ORG's money line like to win the game,
Speaker 14786.58s - 796.18s
but you'd like to see him steal one tonight. You don't want to be down 02 in the Best of Seven series. And if you needed any more storyline for tonight,
Speaker 17797.1s - 819.34s
part of the broadcast team on TNT tonight, Reggie Miller making his return to Madison Square Garden in a Pacers ORG-Nicks playoff series. Reggie jumped on with Dan Patrick on a national radio show earlier and talked about what he expects to hear from the crowd as he calls this game tonight.
Speaker 7819.96s - 834.38s
I'm sure I'll hear the chance. I'm sure I'll hear all those naughty words. I'm good with that, but I'm there to do a job to call a game. I think this will be a fantastic series. Wait, do you get booed when you go into the garden? Oh, my God.
Speaker 0834.38s - 859.9s
You get booed on Wednesday. I will be surprised during the game if I don't hear Reggie PERSON sucks. I'll ask you, I'll be a little hurt if I don't hear Reggie sucks. I kind of want that. I get it, New Yorkers NORP. The way they took over Philadelphiaand how they acted, I get it, but just know, the boogeyman is coming back
Speaker 19859.9s - 862.2s
to call the game. Okay?
Speaker 17863.1s - 864.52s
So I am coming.
Speaker 7864.82s - 865s
The boogeyman is coming to call the game. Okay? So I am coming.
Speaker 17867.26s - 871.54s
The boogeyman is coming to call the game. There was such a hatred for Reggie Miller by the New York Knicks ORG fans.
Speaker 14871.72s - 875.48s
And it's really vice versa. Right. I mean, like I hated the Knicks ORG.
Speaker 17875.7s - 878.58s
When John Starks PERSON would come in here, it'd be the same way.
Speaker 14878.68s - 883.72s
Worst. Who was the most hated Nick PERSON for you? Was it Starks PERSON? Yeah.
Speaker 17883.94s - 924.28s
Because even though Ewing PERSON was their star, the hatred for Ewing PERSON, I don't think was there. It was Starks. It was Anthony Mason PERSON, you know, Charles Oakley PERSON, those were the guys. And if you aska Knicks ORG fan, obviously Reggie is number one, probably Dale Davis, Antonio Davis PERSON, game two coming up tonight. If you are looking for a reason to drink tonight, if Niger's birthday is not enough, 65 years ago today, in 1959, little Caesar ORG's pizza was founded.I got the same birthday as Little Caesars ORG? You do. Listen, everybody can laugh at Little Caesars ORG or whatever. No, no, no, no.
Speaker 14924.42s - 927.82s
Very few people ever say that it's their favorite pizza.
Speaker 17928.34s - 930.32s
But I'm telling you, it hits the spot, man.
Speaker 14930.36s - 933.68s
And it does. The, what do they call it, the bread?
Speaker 17933.82s - 943.38s
The crazy bread. The crazy bread is some of the best in the business. Oh, it is. That crazy bread. And I'm a cheese sauce guy. I like the cheese sauce.Oh, it doesn't get much better than that.
Speaker 18944.38s - 966.98s
It's hungry. Also, on this date, sharing a special date with Nigel 30 years ago in 1994, golfer John Daly won the Bell South Classic EVENT. This is important because he said it was the first time he won a golf tournament sober. Well, that's very nice.
Speaker 17967.1s - 967.9s
It is, right?
Speaker 13969.4s - 972.32s
Like, you could almost do great moments in drunkenness.
Speaker 17972.74s - 976.1s
John Daly's, you know, big win, Nigel PERSON's birthday.
Speaker 13976.4s - 978.48s
I put them all in the same plate right there.
Speaker 17978.9s - 985.92s
It's The Hammer and Nigel PERSON show. You're listening to The Hammer and Nigel PERSON show. The Hammer and Nigel show. You're listening to The Hammer and Nigel show.
Speaker 11988.4s - 989.6s
The Hammer and Nigel PERSON show.
Speaker 14989.72s - 993.76s
Hello, my name is Nigel PERSON. That's Jason Hammer PERSON right over there with a special guest on the hotline.
Speaker 17994.4s - 1021.22s
Dr. Laura Wilson is a professor of political science at the University of Indianapolis ORG. She's a friend of the Hammer and Nigel PERSON show. Doctor, what do we make of this low, awful turnout yesterday? Numbers were atrocious, and there were some big-time things on the ballot. It's a presidential year. It's a governor year, Senate House ORG races. What do we make of the awful turnout?
Speaker 241022.32s - 1088.88s
Well, I have to say, I'm incredibly disappointed because, as you mentioned, it's not even that there were a lot of races, but there were a lot of competitive races on the ballot yesterday. When you're talking about six gubernatorial candidates for the Republicans, in the third, the sixth and the eighth you had open seats for congressional districts, and the fifth was obviously going to be very competitive. To see, even though you have that competition, right, even though you have a lot of important races that voters can choose from, and to still not have people turn out is nothing short of depressing. The one thing I would say, certainly didn't appreciate happening over election day, but the weather, having the tornado warnings, right, that does sometimes scare people away from it, right? And if you didn't participate, you were planning on doing it after you got off work, that's when you were going to vote. And then you saw the weather, perhaps you were deterred. It doesn't explain, of course, the low voter turnout, but it would be a contributing factor. And I just think it's really unfortunate. People complain about government all the time. This is an opportunity to have your say. And folks, for whatever reason, just chose not to show up to the polls.
Speaker 171088.88s - 1116.78s
Do you think there's any fatigue about the political cycle right now? All of the ads, all of the commercials, all of the division, we're kind of seeing some trends across the country that it feels like a lot of people are just worn out by the entire process. And also, maybe this was kind of a referendum on the state of Indiana GPE because we heard from a lot of our listeners, they didn't like any of these candidates.
Speaker 241117.7s - 1221.76s
And I can understand that. I do think there's political fatigue, right? There's an absolute burnout. And at a certain point, you get to just, it's political noise, right? It's an absolute burnout. And at a certain point, you get to just, it's political noise, right? It's background. You're tired of hearing it. And especially when some of the races, you may have had candidates that just didn't appeal to voters. But I think the part that I would hope is even though there is a lot of conflict in politics right now, and it can be very controversial and acrimonious. I understand those are elements of the political dynamics we have in our country. Abstaining doesn't necessarily change the outcome. And so for voters that say, well, I'm just frustrated with it. I'm so fed up with it. I'm just not going to do anything. If they don't like the candidates, I'd encourage them find candidates you do like. Recruit people, right?Run yourself. My goodness, I think there are so many opportunities to get involved. And maybe you don't like the candidates for one of the particular races. You can skip that. You are not obligated to fill out and select a candidate for every single place on the ballot. Right. But to still participate, I think, is really important. And I will say in Indiana GPE, we've had chronically low voter turnout. So to your earlier point, maybe it does say something about the parties, about the candidates that we have, right? Maybe it's a larger issue that after this postmortem of the primary election, and probably the general too, right? Next year's not an election year. And maybe we take heed of that.Maybe people reconsider if they're interested in getting involved in politics. Maybe the parties reevaluate. There could be that little reflection moment. But at this point, we're done with the primaries. We're all focused on the November general election now. And there's a lot at stake this year.
Speaker 141221.92s - 1240.16s
I'm kind of fascinated. We're speaking with Dr. Laura Wilson PERSON, Professor Political Science of U of I. I'm fascinated with the attack ads myself. I'm really, I mean, they spent a lot of money. They ran on our station. What do you think of the attack ads themselves? They must work because campaigns spent a lot of money running them.
Speaker 241240.8s - 1291.04s
Yeah, typically they do. They'd be very effective. And the limits that the research has shown us is if they're attacking someone on personal qualities, you know, they can be less effective, maybe even backfire, because it looks like you're being petty. And no one loves petty politics, right? But if they're focused on the issues and you're saying, look, when this person was inoffice, they voted this way and they've supported these groups and they've done these things, that's informative for voters. I do worry that they turn off voters and negative voting is the concepts that we see when you're choosing the lesser of two evils. That's not great if you're thinking about everyone on the ballot being an evil, right? But they can be very effective. And at the end of the day, the campaigns are just trying to get votes for their candidate. So if they see that kind of negative advertising appealing to voters, that's what they're going to pursue.
Speaker 141291.2s - 1297.32s
It's like, who was it, Goodrich versus Sparts PERSON? Yes. Was it those two? And Goodrich PERSON had this attack ad.
Speaker 131297.88s - 1305.02s
It doesn't really have anything to do with their policies, per se, just kind of portrayed her as like a mean woman and an awful person to work for.
Speaker 241305.1s - 1306.22s
And I was just kind of shaking my head.
Speaker 131306.3s - 1309.7s
I go, well, what does these actually work?
Speaker 241310.22s - 1310.6s
Yes.
Speaker 131310.74s - 1312.76s
And that what I think is one of the more memorable ones.
Speaker 241312.82s - 1342.22s
I knew exactly what you're talking about as soon as you said it. For some of those, again, that petty politics, you start to think, okay, what's the real effect here? For some, in that particular case, if you had voters that were undecided that maybe had heard of the rumors that she is maybe a difficult person to work for, she's had a lot of turnover in her congressional office, right? That can solidify an opinion about her and maybesway you to supporting him. Obviously, it didn't actually happen last night, right? But that's the
Speaker 171342.22s - 1383.36s
aim, that's a goal of that particular type of ad. Dr. Laura Wilson with us. She is a professor of political science at the University of Indianapolis ORG. All right, Dr. O's. So let's talk about some of these results that we got last night. And let's start at the very top here. Nikki Haley pulling in around 22% of the vote. We've kind of seen that number in other primaries, even though she's out. I see a lot of the vote. We've kind of seen that number in other primaries, even though she's out. I see a lot of the never-Trumppeople on social media saying, oh, this is a red flag. Better look out. Nikki Haley PERSON got 22%. What does that say about Donald Trump PERSON? I'm not necessarily in that camp.Where are you at with that?
Speaker 241383.94s - 1405.4s
I think it does show there's some discontentment with Trump PERSON at the top of the ticket. It would be very different if this was a 40-60 breakdown, right? In 2018, that's one out of five of the people who chose a Republican NORP primary ballot. We also expected that there might be some crossover voting from the Democrats NORP when you take that primary ballot.
Speaker 191405.6s - 1454.3s
And I imagine some of those votes probably came from those voters. So I don't think it's probably quite as problematic as some may proclaim. I do think you have that division within the Republican Party ORG. And Trump has always been that candidate where you either love him or you hate him. It just feels like there's no in between. Now, in Indiana for the Republicans, having 80% of people still vote for Donald Trump PERSON,and obviously it didn't even matter. He's already has the delegates going into the RNC ORG anyhow. I think it's pretty clear. In Indiana, those Republican NORP voters overwhelmingly still do love him. And at the end of the day, she's ended her candidacy months ago. She's not going on in terms of the delegation for the RNC ORG. He has it in the bag. It may have been a protest vote. It was notable, but small and just insignificant in terms of the total outcome.
Speaker 171454.9s - 1475.34s
And then the governor's race, probably the most contested race on the ballot. A lot of money was spent by a number of different candidates, but really it turned out to be a blowout. I know the Associated Press ORG called it early in the ballot. A lot of money was spent by a number of different candidates, but really, it turned out to be a blowout. I know the Associated Press called it early in the night last night around 7 o'clock for Mike Braun PERSON. Your takeaway from this governor's race.
Speaker 241476.22s - 1509.82s
Well, you know what? I think name recognition, money, and Braun PERSON wasn't the only candidate had both of those, but the difference that Braun PERSON had the other candidates did not was the Trump PERSON endorsement. And it was a very crowded primary. I think if you look in terms of the spread, having crouched with just over 20 percent, and then you had the other candidates' chambers and the upper teams, when you have six candidates, you really are splitting the electorate. And we have limited polling, but it consistently showed Braun PERSON at the top.At the end of the day, that polling, even though limited, was very accurate and he was able to
Speaker 171509.82s - 1539.42s
pull through, absolutely no problem. What's your response when you hear people say, you can't win major races unless you have multiple zeros in your bank account? Because we're seeing all this money spent, but the biggest spenders were the ones that won. Braun got a lot of money. He won. Jefferson Shreve PERSON, a lot of money. He won. The folks that outspent their competition, for the most part, won pretty easily. Money matters. It does.
Speaker 241539.58s - 1600.24s
I would be hard pressed to honestly try to convince someone that they would be a great candidate and a successful candidate, a winning candidate, if they didn't have money. But I do think one thing that people can take confidence in is it doesn't always have to be your money, right? And if you're a great candidate, if you have a lot of potential, there are a lot of donors out there that want to support a winner. So if you don't, if you're unable to, like like self-finance, if you don't have the money yourself, right, you need to hustle, right, but you find people that are going to help supportyour candidacy because at the end of the day, all of the ad buys, producing those ad buys, right, the canvassing, the direct mailers cost a tremendous amount of money. So whether it's yours or somebody else's, it does make a difference for voters in terms of mobilization, voter engagement, knowledge, and ultimately voting, right? Their decision-making process. So money is really important, but it doesn't always have to be yours if you don't have it yourself. You can certainly work on the fundraising game to make up for that.
Speaker 171600.6s - 1620.88s
Dr. Laura Wilson PERSON, Professor of Political Science. Last thing before we let you go, Doctor, I know you're on the, like, debate commission. Last thing before we let you go, Doctor, I know you're on the, like, debate commission. What's a brother we got to do here to get a chance to be a debate moderator? Is this like a street basketball game where I just call next and I wait my turn or, come on, because I want to do one of these things. I'll tell you what,
Speaker 241620.94s - 1625.02s
if it was a street basketball game, you're shoo-in because I can't play basketball.
Speaker 171625.38s - 1627.92s
So I think you're on to a good idea there.
Speaker 241628.3s - 1632.5s
Yeah, just call next and wait my turn, and then I should be able to get one of these things.
Speaker 171632.56s - 1633.08s
I like it.
Speaker 241633.4s - 1634.5s
Doctor, thank you so much.
Speaker 171634.56s - 1635.5s
We appreciate your time.
Speaker 241636.08s - 1636.58s
My pleasure.
Speaker 171636.68s - 1637.66s
Thank you for having me.
Speaker 241637.74s - 1638.9s

Do you want to be, my friend?
Speaker 171658.78s - 1660.88s
You'll listen to the Hammer and Nigel PERSON show.
Speaker 241661.62s - 1663.66s
This is like the fifth or sixth song
Speaker 171663.66s - 1666.5s
that George Strait PERSON played at his concert at Lucas
Speaker 221666.5s - 1674.52s
O' Wayal on Saturday, where I spent, according to my wife, $120 on drinks.
Speaker 241674.88s - 1676.24s
No, no, no, no, no.
Speaker 171676.32s - 1676.84s
Hold on.
Speaker 221677.02s - 1678.94s
How much did she spend on the jean jacket?
Speaker 171678.94s - 1682.92s
I think that was a three-figure number as well.
Speaker 221682.92s - 1683.88s
Okay, okay.
Speaker 111684.7s - 1686.98s
So did you tell her you're not in the move for any crap?
Speaker 141688.24s - 1688.86s
I go.
Speaker 171691.14s - 1692.88s
No, I did not say that to her.
Speaker 141693.18s - 1694.02s
Are you kidding me?
Speaker 171695.7s - 1706.66s
One of the things that I forgot to mention about that show is that George Strait, who is obviously a country music icon, and still has got it at 71 years old.
Speaker 141707.78s - 1713.34s
I forgot he announced his 31st album, Cowboys and Dreamers WORK_OF_ART, is on the way.
Speaker 171713.86s - 1727.04s
Now, from what I can remember, he didn't give a release date, but it was one of those things where, like, he performed a few of those songs Saturday, including one with Chris Stapleton PERSON.
Speaker 191727.76s - 1729.82s
Here he is making the announcement.
Speaker 141730.26s - 1732.72s
We got a lot of songs to play this evening for you.
Speaker 201734.32s - 1737.92s
We got some new stuff, too, they're going to throw in there throughout the night because
Speaker 131737.92s - 1740.68s
I broke down and did another record.
Speaker 141744.38s - 1763.4s
It's like, you know, I'm not even the world's biggest George Strait PERSON fans, but there were some hardcore, I mean, diehards there. And I'm just wondering, like, when you hear the icon say, hey, I'm going to play a few new songs tonight, well, that means a ton of songs are going to get left out at the catalog. Right. You know what I mean?
Speaker 171763.4s - 1763.56s
Right.
Speaker 71763.56s - 1777.5s
So I'm just, I'm wondering if, you know, I didn't really care. But there is a ton of songs, according to my wife and Dylan PERSON, who we were with our friends, Dylan and Melody and their daughter Abigail PERSON.
Speaker 171777.74s - 1782.04s
They didn't play a couple of the big ballads, right? Carrying your love with me. Across my heart.
Speaker 141782.1s - 1788.46s
Cross my heart. I don't know if they did carrying your love with me or not. They did Forever Amen or what's that song?
Speaker 171788.62s - 1790.62s
Forever Endeavor Amen. That's Randy Travis PERSON.
Speaker 141790.88s - 1809.48s
Well, he's got another song that has the word amen in it. Whatever. But I just, I'm wondering like, okay, Allison, Taylor Swift PERSON, all of a sudden she says, hey, I'm going to do some new songs from my new album that I just released. Are you disappointed that she's not getting to the good stuff?
Speaker 41809.6s - 1818.92s
Well, of course. Of course. That's what I, I will give an artist one new song to play. Maybe two. To give us a little taste fine.
Speaker 171819.08s - 1835.44s
I like that. There was a Tom PERSON Petty concert years ago. Now, Tom's no longer with us. But he was doing a show up at Deer Creek FAC at the time. And he just made the announcement. Here's something for the new album. So if you want to go to the bathroom now, this is the time.
Speaker 141835.88s - 1836.54s
See, that's good.
Speaker 171836.74s - 1861.02s
That's good. See, at least he knows. At least he knows that he understands that the fans want the, you know, they want the hits. Right. I want the hits, man. But he played for a long time, though.Like, you got plenty of hits. Love Without End, Amen. Oh, okay, that's right. Another big hit of George Strait PERSON. That's what I was thinking of. But a new song, if it features Chris Stapleton PERSON, though.
Speaker 141861.26s - 1868.06s
Because the new song, the new album features Chris Stapleton PERSON. Well, Chris Stapleton PERSON came out and played it with him.
Speaker 171868.52s - 1874.72s
Played the song with him. So they played a couple songs. And that was fun and that was good. So that was cool.
Speaker 141874.72s - 1884.2s
But there was a long list. My buddy Dylan PERSON sent me songs that he didn't play that, you know, he could have if he left the new stuff out.
Speaker 101884.56s - 1885.82s
Hammer and Nigel PERSON.
Speaker 141885.88s - 1887.7s
Do you believe these characters are weirdos?
Speaker 101888.04s - 1888.88s
So let's rock.
Speaker 91889.46s - 1890.7s
My name is Nigel PERSON.
Speaker 141891.1s - 1897.68s
That's Jason Hammer PERSON right over there. Let's not waste any time. Let's dive head first into some legal stuff.
Speaker 131898.58s - 1904.16s
Crime, punishment, judges. Legal stuff.
Speaker 141905.44s - 1916.56s
So we already discussed the fact that the Trump trial in Florida GPE, the classified documents case, has been indefinitely postponed. It's plagued with problems. Deranged prosecuted Jack Smith PERSON.
Speaker 131917.5s - 1920.2s
He failed to secure some crucial evidence.
Speaker 141920.34s - 1942.74s
It's all out of order. Plus, some of Trump PERSON's lawyers that would be working on this case are working on this worthless hush money case in Manhattan GPE. So there's that, right? Right. And plus, just a side note, what Trump PERSON is accused of in this classified documents case is a jokecompared to what Biden and Hillary Clinton PERSON for that matter, destroying critical evidence, is accused of.
Speaker 171942.8s - 1944.2s
But they've been cleared of, basically.
Speaker 141944.46s - 1945.84s
Oh, true, exactly. So they've been cleared off, basically. Oh, true. Exactly.
Speaker 171946.48s - 1956.32s
So we've discussed that already. Yes. So that's kind of a win for Trump PERSON, because even if there is some sort of pickback up on this investigation.
Speaker 141956.32s - 1957.36s
It doesn't look like it.
Speaker 171957.48s - 1975.7s
Which doesn't look like. It's going to be after the election. Well, now the Georgia Court of Appeals ORG, they're going to hear Donald Trump's PERSON appeal of the Fulton County GPE judge's decision to not disqualifythe DA Big Fat Fannie Willis PERSON.
Speaker 01977.64s - 1978.42s
So
Speaker 171978.42s - 1979.82s
wait a minute. What?
Speaker 141980.82s - 1982.18s
They're appealing that
Speaker 171982.18s - 2017.06s
decision? Right. Donald Trump tried to overthrow the election, right? So now they're appealing that decision. Right. Donald Trump PERSON tried to overthrow the election, right? So now they're appealing the fact that the court said that Fannie ORG can stay, even though during the court proceedings, it turns out she was complicated and violated multiple rules. So now it's going to go to another court, and this is expected to have a, quote, significant delay, meaning that this whole thing that Big Fat Fannie ORG wanted to have happened before the election is most likely not going to happen before the election.
Speaker 142017.06s - 2042.02s
They are trying to get a conviction on Trump PERSON before that election so they can call him a felon so hard and it looks like it's falling apart. I mean, it's down to New York GPE at this point, right? That's a joke. Any legal analyst analyzing this, this, you know, proceeding in New York GPE says any normal judge would have dismissed this a long time ago. Right. The hush money case.
Speaker 172042.14s - 2078.64s
But it's like trying to get a fair call in Madison Square Garden FAC if you're a basketball team. You know as well as I do the fix is in, right? Yeah. So in regards to this Georgia overthrowing the election deal and then the appeal to see if big fat fanny could even be involved in this, oral arguments are expected sometime this summer. It will be heard by a three-judge panel. So really, you just need two votes. Two votes is all you need to reverse the court decision. And this basically means the Fulton case is dead in the water for a long time.
Speaker 142078.64s - 2081.96s
As well as the Florida GPE case. Right. Classified documents.
Speaker 172082.62s - 2093.4s
More Donald Trump PERSON stuff here. MSNBC host, former White House Press Secretary Jen Saki. Now, you remember Jen Saki, right?
Speaker 142093.56s - 2094.22s
Help me out here.
Speaker 282094.76s - 2097.88s
The press secretary with the extremely red hair.
Speaker 172099.24s - 2101.16s
Now you know who she is, right?
Speaker 282101.38s - 2103.16s
Yeah, now I'm familiar with him.
Speaker 172103.74s - 2111.4s
She claims that all of these Republicans are being nice to Donald Trump PERSON. They're carrying
Speaker 142111.4s - 2119.22s
his water because maybe they'll have a big spot in government if Donald Trump PERSON dies.
Speaker 172119.68s - 2123.46s
I think there's two categories. I mean, there's obviously the Tim Scott PERSON categories, as you said,
Speaker 232123.56s - 2146.06s
that's embarrassing to watch. Cringy. I've watched it many times. I think many of them want to be close to power. They also assume or have this thought in their mind that maybe Donald Trump will go away. Maybe he'll go to jail. Maybe he will die, not to be too morbid, but maybe he's not a young man. Who knows what's in their minds? They think maybe I will be behind the Oval Office FAC. Maybe I will be in the Oval Office FAC.
Speaker 142146.62s - 2168.44s
Boy, Democrats NORP want him dead. I mean, that's what that just off the top of my head. That's what I'm thinking there. Right. I mean, they're absolutely trying to shame him and embarrass him with this Stormy Daniels PERSON hush money thing. But that right there.I mean, talk about close to death. How about the guy in charge right now?
Speaker 172168.5s - 2179.86s
Right. How about your old boss there, Jen PERSON? Can I call you, Jen PERSON? Because your old boss looks like the guy that used to host tales from the crypt. That's being generous.
Speaker 142180.2s - 2180.54s
Right.
Speaker 172180.84s - 2183.4s
The cryptkeeper actually has better skin right now.
Speaker 132183.4s - 2208.54s
Better hair. Better hair than Joe Biden. And you're so right about this current situation in New York GPE. Stormy Daniels PERSON is on the stand. And they're asking her personal questions that have nothing to do about whether or not hush money was, you know, passed out. It's about bedroom performances. And the only thing they're trying to do is humiliate Donald Trump PERSON.
Speaker 142209.02s - 2220.98s
Entirely unrelated to really any of the charges that they're leveling against Trump PERSON, which is basically he misclassified the non-disclosure agreement payment.
Speaker 172221.9s - 2270.48s
And really, what's more humiliating? If you're somebody that's in the middle, you don't consider yourself a Republican or a Democrat NORP, just be honest and answer this question. What's more humiliating? Donald Trump PERSON had sex with a porn star that might not have lasted very long? Or brief the way he said it.Joe Biden falls down the stairs every five seconds, and may or may not have pooped his pants multiple times. Joe Biden PERSON speaks gibberish and shakes hands with the air. So again, I ask you what is really more embarrassing? Unbelievable. Tonight, Pacers and Knicks, that is in New York. Game two tip off around 8 o'clock I should bet on this game
Speaker 142270.48s - 2277.56s
Knicks are four and a half point favorites I should bet on this game but I don't know man I just
Speaker 172277.56s - 2286.9s
I got kind of a bad feeling see that's my problem with betting. My account's dry right now after the Masters EVENT.
Speaker 142287.84s - 2296.96s
But I bet with my heart, not with my head. Right. You never really should bet on the team you're rooting for, right? Right.
Speaker 172297.04s - 2316.44s
You should do the opposite because at the end of the night, you're happy either way. So maybe that's what I should do. Maybe I should bet on the Knicks tonight. And no matter what happens, I'll either make money or the Pacers ORG wins. Maybe that's the strategy. But good God, I just don't want to put any of my hard-armed money on anybody that has anything to do with the state of New York GPE right now.
Speaker 142316.68s - 2317.56s
I'm fired up for the game, though.
Speaker 172317.86s - 2320.96s
I am too. Reggie PERSON's going to be on the call, which is going to be fun.
Speaker 142321.9s - 2329.06s
And again, if you're just joining us, all throughout the afternoon, we're celebrating Nigel PERSON's birthday. Do we have to?
Speaker 172329.88s - 2354.84s
48. Is that right? 48 years old? That's the number, 48. So we've already heard from AI Joe Biden PERSON. We've heard from the real Joe Biden PERSON.Turn about being fair play since we've been talking about him this break. Here to give you a special birthday greeting, A.I. Donald Trump PERSON. Happy birthday, you fat piece of shit.
Speaker 282356.16s - 2357.04s
That's it?
Speaker 172357.86s - 2358.76s
That's it.
Speaker 192359.44s - 2360.46s
There it is.
Speaker 172362.58s - 2368.1s
A.I. Donald Trump with a birthday greeting the Big Dye PERSON.
Speaker 192368.6s - 2369.02s
Okay.
Speaker 172369.82s - 2371.1s
Short and to the point.
Speaker 132371.86s - 2373.38s
Amher and Nigel PERSON presents.
Speaker 172377.38s - 2380.42s
It depends upon what the meaning of the word is.
Speaker 192382.34s - 2384.82s
Is this anything?
Speaker 212385.22s - 2386.06s
All right, let's rock and roll. Hammer PERSON, how do we play? Is this anything? I'm, let's rock and roll.
Speaker 142386.3s - 2387.2s
Hammer PERSON, how do we play?
Speaker 212387.32s - 2387.86s
Is this anything?
Speaker 142388.26s - 2390.34s
I'm going to run some stories by you.
Speaker 212390.88s - 2395.86s
You will be the one that breaks down all of the information and gives us a verdict.
Speaker 112396.06s - 2398.62s
Is the story in question anything or not?
Speaker 142399.44s - 2400.44s
We start with this.
Speaker 212401.52s - 2405.84s
A father and his special needs daughter were held at gunpoint
Speaker 142405.84s - 2407.48s
by police officers in Florida
Speaker 212407.48s - 2410.04s
because of a possible
Speaker 142410.04s - 2411.94s
typo by the
Speaker 212411.94s - 2413.88s
officer who marked their
Speaker 142413.88s - 2416s
vehicle stolen. Oh no.
Speaker 172416.28s - 2428.62s
The family is now looking to sue the police department. So take a listen to this. Here's a mix of the body cam footage along with the dad and his lawyer explaining their side of the story.
Speaker 282429.12s - 2439.92s
Hands up. Driver, step out of the vehicle. Keep coming. Stop. Down on your knees. Can I ask what's going on?She's a special news child. Okay, that's fine.
Speaker 182440.08s - 2442.9s
It's traumatizing for it. And it's a sad situation.
Speaker 62443.2s - 2453.72s

Speaker 262453.86s - 2455.04s
This is what I'm talking about.
Speaker 162455.16s - 2458.48s
About people who are making mistakes.
Speaker 62458.64s - 2460.46s
Mistakes happen, but lives are at stake.
Speaker 142460.86s - 2493.38s
It's sounded like the two officers were at the end they're arguing with each other. This happens when you don't know what we're doing. Well, people make mistakes. Yeah, this is something. I think the officer probably needs to be held accountable in some way, shape, or form. I don't think he needs to lose his job or anything, but I'm, you know, we're pro law enforcement on this show for sure, but something like that, that's an unfortunate accident for sure. And it also demonstrates why you comply.Because even if you are in the right and the officer is in the wrong, like the lawyer said, somebody could get hurt.
Speaker 172495.38s - 2512.58s
You know, there's that old expression, pick your battles. Because some people will argue, don't comply with your rights. Never comply. So weigh out the pros and cons. Like we ask you to do with these stories. I could either be a big pain in the ass and get shot Or I could comply now, sue laterYou know, lose the battle, win the war
Speaker 142512.58s - 2520.92s
I don't even know if suing I mean, what are they going to sue for? What kind of damages are they going to get it?
Speaker 172520.92s - 2543.02s
Oh, I'm sure there's a lawyer somewhere They can come up with a number of charges. It was a mistake, unfortunate mistake, The lawyer or the cop needs to be definitely held accountable. And again, I don't know what that looks like. I don't know what the protocol is for something like that. I'm not afraid to be critical of law enforcement, but that, yeah, that sucked, especially as a typo, especially because they were pointing a gun at a special needs child.
Speaker 142544.02s - 2551.02s
So, yeah, that's something. And just it's an unfortunate accident that hardly ever, ever, ever happens in the law enforcement community.
Speaker 172551.52s - 2580.7s
Is this anything? A California man running in the O.C. Marathon. Remember the show? The O.C. Used to be on Fox back in the day. He was running in the O.C. Marathon EVENT.He got disqualified after his dad gave him a cup of water, which was just outside of the designated area. Come on. Here is Esteban PERSON talking about getting disqualified and why he needed his father to give him the water.
Speaker 12581.04s - 2590.84s
Three to four months period of just 100 mile week trainings, just kind of balancing that with like work and also just including that in the weekend
Speaker 02590.84s - 2592.1s
because I was first place.
Speaker 192592.72s - 2596.36s
A lot of the volunteers were just like scrambling like, oh, there's first place.
Speaker 02596.52s - 2600.5s
And I mean, by the time I got there, like they were barely like grabbing the water.
Speaker 12600.58s - 2603.62s
So a lot of the time the water stations, they really had nothing for me.
Speaker 142604.58s - 2635.3s
Yeah, this is something. It sucks for the guy. This is stupid. I mean, you know, you get a biological men playing women's sports, but this guy gets disqualified for getting water outside the zone. Right. Excuse me. I just lost the swimming race, the breaststroke to this biological man with the bulge in his pants. Well, it's nothing I can do about it, give him the medal. Right. This guy takes a drink of water and he gets disqualified for the race. That sounds like the dumbest rule.
Speaker 172635.58s - 2645s
When I first read this story, I thought, okay, what was in the cup? Did he give him steroids? Was there, you know, cocaine in the cup, something, you know, to get them across that finish line?
Speaker 142645.16s - 2650.12s
It was just water. Yeah. That's it. That's BS. Is this anything?
Speaker 172650.92s - 2661.02s
And again, for those who are tuning in for the very first time, please understand how much Nigel loves hearing women on TikTok ORG. Oh, no.
Speaker 142661.44s - 2662.9s
Don't do it again.
Speaker 172663.2s - 2668.76s
A woman on TikTok posted a video after someone stole two dolls
Speaker 142668.76s - 2671.68s
from a display case at her yard sale.
Speaker 172672.34s - 2676.64s
There's something she wants the thief to be aware of. Take a listen.
Speaker 122676.98s - 2692.18s
To the thief that stole these dolls out of the yard sale at 3 o'clock this morning, you're going to regret it. They're haunted. Had you waited until sunlight, you would have seen the sign that was under themthat said haunted dolls. You can have children, please don't buy. I put them in this glass hutch to try and contain whatever was attached to them, and it got so cold
Speaker 142692.18s - 2707.28s
that it fogged up. No, it takes these backs. Nobody wanted them because I warned everyone and showed them the videos of what these dolls do when they're in your vicinity, because they were not scared to move right in front of you. Enjoy. She wasn't nearly as bad as the woman with the resume hack.
Speaker 172707.62s - 2716.32s
How did she sound again, Nige PERSON? Just copy the entire job description to paste it somewhere in your resume in the
Speaker 132716.32s - 2724.1s
tiniest font possible and then make the font white so it's invisible. A.I. will still see it and all the words to be looking for.
Speaker 142724.44s - 2725.02s
Well done. Well done.
Speaker 132725.38s - 2725.94s
Well done.
Speaker 142726.14s - 2727.64s
Oh, I'm running out of breath.
Speaker 132728s - 2730.32s
It's a fantastic reenactment.
Speaker 172731.22s - 2737.04s
I'm so, it's so ironic that Joe Biden PERSON signed legislation
Speaker 142737.04s - 2751.18s
to ban TikTok eliminated for the United States of America when his campaign is on TikTok ORG. The Biden Harris PERSON campaign is on TikTok, the Biden Harris campaign is on TikTok ORG and is utilized to get their message out.
Speaker 172751.5s - 2769.9s
So if I understand this correctly, you're more upset at the way people sound on TikTok ORG, the hypocritical nature of the Biden PERSON administration wanting to ban it but being on it, then you are a story about a hillbilly with stolen haunted dolls.
Speaker 92772s - 2773s
Nailed it!
Speaker 172773.28s - 2777.6s
Just want to make sure we're all on the same page. It's the Hammer and Nigel PERSON show.
Speaker 222779.04s - 2810.52s

So long-lived singing to the oldies, jamming out to something new, and everything in between. The Hammer and Nigel PERSON show.
Speaker 112812.96s - 2816.76s
So earlier in the program, we talked about Donald Trump PERSON.
Speaker 172816.92s - 2830.24s
Yes. I think to be completely fair and balanced, we need to talk about his opposition. We need to talk about wheeling, dealing, hair sniffing, kiss stealing Joe Biden PERSON.
Speaker 192831.34s - 2832.9s
I got hairy legs.
Speaker 172834.6s - 2836.72s
Oh, Earthrider PERSON, thanks for the great legs.
Speaker 182842.02s - 2842.86s
Beer, blue hair, grew beer.
Speaker 202843.28s - 2843.98s
Beer.
Speaker 182844.08s - 2844.76s
Thank you.
Speaker 172845.64s - 2850.12s
So I'm glad this story is finally getting out there now.
Speaker 202850.12s - 2850.66s
What's that?
Speaker 182851.82s - 2860.38s
That the Biden administration has put a halt on sending the Israelis NORP arms, weapons,
Speaker 172860.78s - 2866.02s
because they are wanting to go into Rafa and wipe out Hamas ORG.
Speaker 182866.6s - 2870.74s
Yeah, it's that area of Gaza GPE, kind of like the last stronghold there.
Speaker 172871.34s - 2878.02s
According to Axios, a senior Biden administration official says the U.S. GPE put a pause
Speaker 182878.02s - 2885.46s
on shipments of bombs to Israel to signal the opposition to the Rafa invasion.
Speaker 172885.98s - 2891.74s
So if I understand this correctly, money to Ukraine GPE, that we have nothing, you know,
Speaker 142891.74s - 2894.7s
we have no idea where it's going, perfectly fine.
Speaker 172895.38s - 2902.74s
One of our strongest allies, Israel GPE, we can't send them things just yet because they
Speaker 142902.74s - 2912.04s
might kill terrorists. I'm old enough to remember when withholding aid from a foreign country got you impeached. That's right.
Speaker 172912.6s - 2914.38s
It's a perfect phone call.
Speaker 142915.3s - 2916.4s
Perfect call.
Speaker 172916.82s - 2934.82s
Yeah, Biden is in a real quandary because, you know, the average, everyday normal, moderate Democrat are, they're seeing what's going on in these pro-Hamas ORG anti-Israel college campus demonstrations, and they're appalled.
Speaker 142935.24s - 2935.86s
Right.
Speaker 172936s - 2941.92s
But he's also got his bloodthirsty, progressive base that he's got to play K2 PRODUCT as well.
Speaker 142941.92s - 2945.36s
And a lot of them are in a key swing state in Michigan GPE,
Speaker 172945.72s - 2950.82s
which he absolutely needs to try to maintain power in November.
Speaker 142950.82s - 2951.64s
Yeah, you need both.
Speaker 172952.8s - 2958.7s
And I bet there certainly are a lot of specifically Jewish NORP people
Speaker 142958.7s - 2960.88s
that are looking at Biden PERSON and are like,
Speaker 172961.8s - 2967.66s
you didn't mention anything about these campus demonstrations until nine days after they started.
Speaker 142967.82s - 2973.24s
And now you're withholding military aid from one of our strongest allies.
Speaker 172973.52s - 2979.42s
Now, let's not get it twisted here. It's not like Israel GPE is begging for the aid.
Speaker 142979.42s - 2981.2s
That's the other thing. That's the other thing.
Speaker 172981.38s - 3007.3s
They've got plenty. But if I'm Israel GPE, here's what I do. Because there's a 100% chance this is going to work on Joe Biden PERSON because nobody pays attention. Just change your email to Zelensky. Put a P.O. box in Ukraine GPE. And then hot damn, you'll have all the weapons you've ever wanted. We'll be sitting in twice the amount that you need. Just open up a P.O. box somewhere in
Speaker 143007.3s - 3033.66s
Kiev, and you're going to be just fine. The reality is that Joe Biden PERSON just is irrelevant in the Middle East and his foreign policy. Don't. What happened when he said don't? They did. What happened when he told Israel GPE not to respond? They did. And then, and so now it's like, who can't, he's, he's totally lost any leverage or capital that he has in the Middle East LOC.
Speaker 173036.64s - 3047.76s
And he's tried to play both sides and it's backfired. What we're seeing now on some of these college campuses, the pro-Hamas people and the anti-Hamas people are both chanting F. Joe Biden PERSON back and forth to each other.
Speaker 143047.84s - 3049.76s
We have the clue. We have the sound to prove it.
Speaker 173049.86s - 3105.44s
Right. So the shipment of bombs to Israel has been paused for right now, according to a senior Biden PERSON administration official. Also, the Biden PERSON administration tried to cover this up as long as they could. Also, the Biden PERSON administration tried to cover this up as long as they could. It was Joni Ernst of Iowa and Ted Bud of North Carolina who started wondering, hey, can we get some oversight here? So in a letter sent Monday evening to the White House from Senators Ernst and Bud, they're asking the administration to immediately inform Congress about what types of ammo is being withheld from Israel GPE, why it's being withheld. The pause in these shipments was approved last week, but only became publicly known over the weekend when it was leaked to Axios ORG. So he's keeping this from his own Congress ORG at this point.
Speaker 143105.44s - 3130.96s
Just a grim, sort of morbid side note here, Hamas ORG did agree to a, they want to do a ceasefire. They want to do a deal. They want to send hostages back to Israel GPE in order for a secession of the war. The only caveat is those hostages are already dead. Well, that's a problem.
Speaker 173131.72s - 3145.72s
That's not good. It's trying to be sold as a ceasefire deal that Israel GPE is rejected. Hey, we're going to send you some hostages. They're no longer alive, but if you want to end this war, you can have their bodies. Disgusting.
Speaker 143146.32s - 3146.56s
Just.
Speaker 173147.36s - 3177.84s
And that's why you don't negotiate with terrorists, right? I grew up in an era where you don't negotiate with terrorists. You go in there and exterminate terrorists. And that's what Hamas is. And they're doing everything right now. Like, it's not a surprise that Israel GPE is thinking about going in. Leaflets and pamphlets and propaganda, it's out there telling everybody, hey, you better get out of here because we are coming in to flatten everything.
Speaker 143177.84s - 3183.52s
But the thing is, they should have been in there already. And the Biden PERSON administration said,
Speaker 173183.84s - 3188.76s
don't. And for some reason, Israel GPE kind of took them seriously at that point.
Speaker 143189.1s - 3195.66s
But that just gave Hamas ORG more time to dig in and terrorize civilians and use the human shields.
Speaker 173196.16s - 3198.6s
We are checking in with Joe Biden PERSON.
Speaker 143198.84s - 3202.72s
They propped up the old man on the campaign stump in South Carolina GPE.
Speaker 173203.1s - 3206.02s
They gave him a big fat shot of go-go juice
Speaker 143206.02s - 3208.04s
in the backside. You may have
Speaker 173208.04s - 3209.92s
given him that bag of blow that was
Speaker 193209.92s - 3211.16s
found at the White House FAC.
Speaker 173211.96s - 3222.24s
And they got him up there speaking to the people of South Carolina GPE, South Kakalaki GPE. And I think for the first time this campaign season, Joe
Speaker 183222.24s - 3247.06s
Biden told the truth about his tax plan. And I'm good, but guess what? If you elect me, you're not going to have you. Your taxes are going to be raised, not cut. If you're, if you benefit from that.I'm sorry. Can I hear that one more time? I'm pretty sure he says, if you elect me, your taxes will be raised, not cut. And I'm good. But guess what? If you elect me, you're not going to have you. Your taxes are going to be raised, not cut.If you're, if you benefit from that.
Speaker 143247.24s - 3255.48s
That's an interesting platform. That's Bidenomics ORG, baby. For a campaign. You elect me. I'm raising your taxes. Yeah.
Speaker 173255.66s - 3256.48s
You want to cut.
Speaker 143256.94s - 3295.36s
Get ready, Bal PERSON. You're going to end for a problem. Bidenomics ORG, baby, to go along with that awful jobs report, to which we didn't even get a chance to dive too deep into that. But in April, employment for small businesses that have like one to nine employees, like really small businesses, decreased by 23,700 jobs compared to March. 23,700 jobs compared to March. Joe Biden PERSON is the everlasting job stopper when it comes to small business. No, no, he's creating jobs.According to him. Right. Government jobs.
Speaker 173295.66s - 3314.64s
The guy that shakes hands with the air, he wouldn't be wrong about anything, Woody PERSON. Man, this is kind of a bummer. I read that the Sam Ash ORG music stores closing all of their stores across the country. No! 100 years in business, Sam Ash ORG locking their doors.
Speaker 143314.64s - 3326.56s
Yeah, there's one up in Castleton off 82nd Street FAC that I bought my set of drums from when I had my midlife crisis. Had. Are you implying I'm still having it?
Speaker 173327.02s - 3332.06s
It's a bit of a process. Yeah, no, no, that's a bummer.
Speaker 143332.84s - 3340.42s
But with the advent of the internet. Right. Karma Records just closed the Northside LOC location.
Speaker 173340.58s - 3368.36s
The 86th Street FAC location. I used to go to Karma Records every week. Man, going to the record store used to be like an experience, right? Like, I know this is how old I am when I can talk about how excited I would get to go into a blockbuster to pick out the movie that I wanted and to go to the record store and either get the CD or whatever it was, the tape, cassette tape that you were buying, even the vinyl.
Speaker 143368.6s - 3381.5s
I remember being a kid going to the old country buffet there on West 38th Street FAC, and there was a giant music store right next to there. My parents would let me go in there, give me, you know, $5, and I go to the singles, cassettes.
Speaker 03381.58s - 3388.84s
Remember when they just sold the single where you could buy a cassette with one or two songs on it? Yes. And I bought, what did I buy? Among the other.
Speaker 143388.98s - 3391.12s
I bought Extreme More Than Words PRODUCT.
Speaker 173391.46s - 3398.84s
Okay. More than Words. The Betancourt Brothers, Nuno Betancourt PERSON?
Speaker 143398.98s - 3403.08s
Yeah. Well, brothers. I don't know about that. Gary Sharon PERSON was the lead singer.
Speaker 173403.26s - 3450.48s
Okay. Nuno PERSON is a guitar player. But yeah, and then when CDs came around, they came in this big, massive box. And even though the CD case was just this little square, you had to get a damn hacksaw out to, like, hack off this big plastic thing that was on there. And this huge, massive case, this box that the CD came from. So hit us up on social media at Hammer and Nigel ORG, record store memories. What do you recall about going into the record store? Whether you are buying tapes, CDs, records, whatever the case may be, hit us up at Hammer and Nigel, Facebook, Twitter ORG. We got the YouTube chat rocking and rolling right now.

Speaker 173597.28s - 3600.94s
I would have lost that contest. I would not have won the tickets. I had no idea.
Speaker 143600.94s - 3602.78s
Angus McGiver PERSON is his name on the show.
Speaker 173603.52s - 3606.86s

Tara Hastings is a meteorologist for our news gathering partners at Wish TV ORG. Tara, it was about this time yesterday. We started getting some of these warnings and things were starting to get a little crazy. And it turned out to be a wild night.
Speaker 33709.22s - 3744.58s
What are the chances we're going to see any more action tonight? So here's the good news. The severe weather threat really has shifted southward, even since I left the station at noon. I just took a look and the severe weather risk map has dropped another level here. So that's the good news. We do have one severe thunderstorm morning in place for Lawrence County GPE, and that runs for another 10 minutes or so, some heavy rainfall, also some hail possible. But really, I think the severe weather threat here in the metro area is really, really low.
Speaker 143744.68s - 3747.04s
I'm looking at your interactive radar right now.
Speaker 33747.32s - 3754.82s
It does, like Evansville is getting hit pretty hard, Carbondale, Illinois GPE, all the stuff is to the south.
Speaker 243754.9s - 3758.98s
And it does look nasty, which is not in our listening area, though, right?
Speaker 33759.62s - 3769.14s
Yes, that is the good news here. So I would say, if you're traveling, let's say like Bloomington to Columbus, to Greenberg GPE.
Speaker 143769.14s - 3825.62s
Like that area, I think, is going to be the best chance of maybe seeing some strong to severe thunderstorms and then right along the Ohio River. And I looked right before I got on with you guys, there is a bunch of tornado warnings across parts of Kentucky and Tennessee GPE as well. So lots of severe weather well to the south of us. We kind of had some cloud cover move in and also some kind of nerding out here a little bit, but some drier air kind of come down to the surface. Dew points really dropped. So we saw kind of our severe weather impacted or severe weather chances impacted because of that. So it works out for us, though. I mean, that's good news. I just looked at Ryan Morse, one of our other meteorologists at the station, just wrote this article.Seven tornadoes touchdown yesterday across the city.
Speaker 173825.62s - 3827.38s
Whoa, seven. In Indiana GPE.
Speaker 33827.66s - 3867.52s
That's a big number. In Indiana GPE. So if you go to WishTV.com, it's on the homepage there. Yes, seven tornadoes. Now, some of them are still preliminary, but we've got video of one in Rush County GPE,Decatur County GPE, that area. In fact, I think there was two that popped down in Rush County GPE. And then one right around the Brookville area, the Weather Service Office in Ohio GPE and Wilmington GPE came and surveyed that one. And then Louisville surveyed one in Clark County GPE. And that was an EF0, wins about 85 miles per hour.So while they weren't necessarily here in the metro area, we did see about seven yesterday.
Speaker 173867.86s - 3868.72s
And it's a miracle.
Speaker 33868.72s - 3870.26s
More details at WishTV.com.
Speaker 173870.26s - 3884.66s
It sounds like, you know, nobody was hurt yesterday. This could have been way worse, but it's kind of a miracle that these things hit where they did and didn't cost anybody their lives or major injury.
Speaker 33885.78s - 3915.24s
Yeah, because here's this thing yesterday. And I know Marcus said he was on with you all yesterday. I'll be honest, yesterday, I mean, well, it's prime for a really big tornadoes event. And we were concerned that there could be the possibility of, you know, long-lived tornadoes on the ground. So the fact that we did get seven and that they were, okay, I'll get you some blueberries.Sorry, we got kiddos.
Speaker 173915.56s - 3916.62s
Oh, that's awesome.
Speaker 33916.92s - 3918.42s
I want some blueberries.
Speaker 173918.84s - 3920.32s
I totally want blueberries.
Speaker 33921.7s - 3924.12s
This kid eats nothing but fruit, I'm telling you.
Speaker 173924.12s - 3927.52s
Grab a beer while you're in the fridge as well, Tara PERSON.
Speaker 33927.82s - 3928.54s
Oh, my gosh.
Speaker 143928.92s - 3929.44s
You have a...
Speaker 173929.44s - 3931.54s
I know, I've got it.
Speaker 33931.58s - 3961.58s
We got beer, we got wine, we got bourbon. I have my pure pick of anything I want. But, yeah, so the fact that, you know, these tornadoes touch down in these rural locations, too. You know, the one video that we saw that I saw this morning was this tornadoes touched down and they touched down in these rural locations too. You know, the one video that we saw that I saw this morning was this tornado was in this field. And it was just moving through. And I was like, that is amazing. First of all, that we got video of it. But second of all, that it was moving through a field and not causing any structural damage. So that's the good news there.
Speaker 173961.58s - 3968.46s
So what's on the tube? What are the kids watching in the background here? Are we into the bluey stage? Are we into Mickey Mouse Clubhouse WORK_OF_ART? Like, what's on the
Speaker 33968.46s - 3975.56s
tube? Mickey Mouse Clubhouse? Also Bluey. Yes. Super Kitty's PRODUCT is another one. Do you like
Speaker 173975.56s - 3981.44s
Super Kitty's PRODUCT? Well, you like Super Kitty's? I don't think I know Super Kitty's. What about
Speaker 33981.44s - 3986.22s
Paw Patrol PRODUCT? Oh, yeah, Paw Patrol. You like Paw Patrol, don't you? You like
Speaker 143986.22s - 3992.5s
Paw Patrol? Yes, she's shaking her head, yes. Loves the Paw Patrol. And we're into Frozen WORK_OF_ART, too.
Speaker 173992.94s - 3997.14s
Oh, yes. I'm sure you love that. I do.
Speaker 143999s - 4004s
Well, Tara PERSON, thank you so much for coming on with us. I know you got all kinds of stuff going on at
Speaker 174004s - 4008.94s
home, but we were told all day that there was a chance for severe weather, but sounds like
Speaker 144008.94s - 4013.74s
Central Indies LOC going to be okay, right? Yeah, I think the metro area is going to be fine.
Speaker 174014.3s - 4019.74s
Quick forecast for tomorrow. It's going to be noticeably cooler. Scattered showers,
Speaker 34019.86s - 4024.96s
possible, no severe weather expected, but high's only in the 60s, and it's going to be a bit
Speaker 194024.96s - 4025.7s
breezy.
Speaker 174026.7s - 4032.46s
So heads up, if you're heading downtown, we've got fever in town to tomorrow night, what, and Pacers Friday, right?
Speaker 34032.56s - 4037.02s
Right. So much cooler Thursday and Friday with Heisley in the 60s.
Speaker 174037.28s - 4059.06s
Tara Hastings, meteorologist for Wish TV 8 ORG. Tara PERSON, you're awesome. Thank you. Bye. See ya. So we were talking about the Stormy Daniels testimony in New York yesterday.Earlier in the show, we brought up how she went into vivid detail about how Donald Trump PERSON likes to get down in the bedroom.
Speaker 144059.26s - 4062.14s
Let's say he's a missionary man.
Speaker 174062.28s - 4063.38s
He's a missionary man.
Speaker 144063.8s - 4064.72s
He's a simple man.
Speaker 174065.28s - 4067.48s
This whole thing is designed to embarrass him.
Speaker 144067.62s - 4076.44s
This is so dumb. The Department of Justice did not want to look at this. Alvin Bragg's PERSON predecessor did not want to look at this, but somehow, yet here we are.
Speaker 174076.44s - 4113.28s
And as dumb as it may be, and as one-sided as it appears to be, with that jury in Manhattan GPE, with that judge, it's still a problem. I mean, there's a good chance. This is not going to go Donald Trump's PERSON way because of the situation that they find themselves in here. They had this in Manhattan GPE.How his lawyers kept that there, I have no idea. You've got to move that from Manhattan GPE. That jury pool, I remember when they were trying to find jurors for this thing, people were being selected and then let go later on admitting they hate Donald Trump PERSON.
Speaker 04113.82s - 4115.5s
So the whole thing is a mess.
Speaker 174116.24s - 4134.88s
But if you're being objective, if you're somebody just looking at this from the way the law is supposed to work, this is crooked. And it's a mess. Even CNN ORG's legal analyst says that Stormy Daniels PERSON being cross-examined was a disaster. My impression was she was
Speaker 274134.88s - 4187.56s
plausible on her explanation of what happened in that hotel room. It's hard for me to believe that a juror heard that and thought this is entirely made up. There may well be some embellishments with Arthur, Arthur, I think, pointed out effectively in the last hour, but I think it's quite clear they had sex in 2006 in that hotel room. But the cross-exam, boy, her responses were disastrous. I mean, do you hate Donald Trump PERSON? Yes, of course she does. That's a big deal. When the witness hates the person whose liberty is a stake, that's a big damn deal. And she's putting out tweets, fantasizing about him being in jail, that really undermines the credibility. The fact that she owes him $500,000, by order of a court, owes Donald Trump a half million dollars and said, I will never pay him. I will defy a court order. The defense is going to say she's willing to defy a court order. She's not willing to respect an order of a judge? Why is she going to respect this oath she took?
Speaker 144188.2s - 4207.94s
That was from Fox News, he said? No, not Fox News at all. CNN ORG? CNN is correct. Yeah. I mean, her testimony is inappropriate. It's entirely unrelated to the charges, which we don't even have quite a grasp on what the specific charges are.
Speaker 174208.3s - 4257.62s
And the people that hate Donald Trump PERSON are kind of getting off on this, even though it doesn't matter. Like on our YouTube chat, there's somebody named Stable Genius that just fondles themselves anytime something bad happens to Donald Trump PERSON. They wake up in the morning and they just touch themselves when something bad happens to Donald Trump PERSON. I get it. You don't like the Orange Trump. They wake up in the morning and they just touch themselves when something bad happens to Donald Trump. I get it. You don't like the orange man. But this whole thing is a scam. And it doesn't take away from the fact that the person that you probably voted for, stable genius and others, poops his pants and shakes hands with the air. So again, I ask you, what's more embarrassing? Donald Trump's sex life in a courtroom or Joe Biden PERSON falling up and down the stairs multiple times a month? To me, it's not even close. We are celebrating. We are celebrating Big Nige's birthday today.
Speaker 144257.62s - 4259.68s
Oh, yes, we are. Big time.
Speaker 174259.76s - 4263.06s
48 years on DATE God's green earth. Hello.
Speaker 144263.76s - 4268.28s
And throughout the show today, we've had very special guests wishing you happy birthday.
Speaker 174268.7s - 4286.36s
We've had AI Joe Biden PERSON. We've had AI Donald Trump PERSON. And I think the person that you would be looking forward to hearing from the most is about to take the microphone. I know you're a big fan. Here to give his birthday wishes to you is A.I. Tucker Carlson PERSON.
Speaker 24287.14s - 4289.54s
Well, well, well, look who has a birthday.
Speaker 174290.12s - 4293.74s
I'm surprised you actually made it into work today, you bloated pig.
Speaker 24294.38s - 4326.9s
Nigel is the laziest staff member of a respected station that Mike Pence PERSON once worked at. However, what Nigel PERSON lacks in work ethic, he makes up for it by being a fat alcoholic. Hey, did you know that Nigel PERSON used to work at a rock station? I did. I knew that because, for some reason, Captain Midlife Crisis still thinks it impresses people and mentions it every five fucking minutes TIME.Yeah, I'm sure every 23-year-old bikini model in Indianapolis GPE is just dying to remove her panties because Nigel PERSON used to play songs from Harvey Danger and the offspring.
Speaker 194327.9s - 4330.16s
Anyway, have a great birthday. I hope you spend
Speaker 24330.16s - 4336.64s
it doing what you do best. Coughing on the air, vomiting on the air, and disappointing your wife sexually. Cheers to Nigel PERSON.
Speaker 284337.68s - 4339.62s
Speaker 134339.7s - 4341.88s
Bravo! A little birthday message
Speaker 24341.88s - 4347.66s
to Big Nige PERSON. Warms my heart. Are you really okay?
Speaker 84348.42s - 4349.02s
Are you okay?
Speaker 44349.26s - 4350.8s
Everything's going to be okay.
Speaker 84351.94s - 4353.58s
Are you okay?
Speaker 44353.92s - 4354.7s
Yeah, I'm fine.
Speaker 74355.54s - 4357.98s
I'm pretty fucking far from okay.
Speaker 284358.64s - 4360.24s
Are you okay with this?
Speaker 74360.24s - 4361.76s
On the Hammer and Nigel PERSON.
Speaker 54362.84s - 4363.84s
Oh, yeah.
Speaker 144364.38s - 4382.38s
So Hammer, after claiming she met Kim Jong-un PERSON, aka Fat Boy from North Korea GPE in her new book, South Dakota GPE Governor Christine Nome refuses to confirm or deny if she actually met him. I believe this was on Jesse Waters PERSON.
Speaker 154382.9s - 4386.82s
I guess you said you met Kim Jong-un PERSON. Did you meet him?
Speaker 254387.28s - 4391.54s
I've been to the DMZ. I've been to North Korea GPE. You know, people, I don't talk about my conversations
Speaker 154391.54s - 4397.24s
with world leaders. And so when I looked at the book and I saw that excerpt, I decided to
Speaker 254397.24s - 4409.2s
make the change to the content of the book, and that's been done. You didn't have a conversation with Kim when you were at the DMV ORG? I don't have conversations about my conversations with world leaders. I've been working on policy for 30 years.
Speaker 154409.2s - 4416.62s
Jesse's laughing at her. Most people don't remember about me is I'm old. I'm a mom. I'm a grandma. I've got three little grandbabies.
Speaker 254416.62s - 4424.7s
You're not that old. So maybe you did have a conversation with Kim PERSON, but you don't want to talk about. I will not talk about my personal conversations with any world leaders. It just won't and I'm not going to do it.
Speaker 154432.88s - 4440.74s
So that's a no. Are you okay with this? No, man. It's been wild to see Christy Noam. Yeah. One of the rising stars, you know, in Republican NORP conservative politics just trash her
Speaker 174440.74s - 4445.9s
career for the sake of selling a few copies of her book. I mean, that's what it is.
Speaker 194446s - 4450.78s
Now, if you don't know what we're talking about, there's an excerpt in her book that talks
Speaker 174450.78s - 4453.14s
about her taking a dog and killing it.
Speaker 144453.26s - 4472.38s
A puppy, yeah. A 14-month-old puppy that had killed some chickens or something like that. But she describes the dog in the book as like, this dog enjoyed chasing the birds and he was excited and joyful. I'm paraphrasing here, but she took him to a gravel pit and blew his brains out.
Speaker 174472.68s - 4526.14s
Like soprano style, like mafia style. And she took a lot of heat for that. And also in this book, she brags about having this conversation with Kim Jong-un PERSON. And a lot of people are saying this never happened. Like, why would you, as the governor of South Dakota GPE, keep that some big secret? Hell, Donald Trump was on tape, walking across, shaking hands with Kim Jong-un PERSON, havingconversations. So it's been wild to see her just completely ruin her career for the sake of selling a few copies of this book. Who are the people advising her? And did they hate her so much they wanted her to self-destruct? Was that the situation? Because I can't fathom anybody that's on her inner circle letting the puppy part stay in the book and openly lie about Kim Jong-un PERSON.
Speaker 144526.38s - 4549.04s
Also, I heard an interesting theory from Friend of the Show, editor-in-chief of Breitbart, Alex Marlowe PERSON. He said he doesn't believe this, but it entered his mind that she might be intentionally sabotaging her career because she doesn't want to be Trump PERSON's vice president. She doesn't even want to be asked. She wants to fade off into the sunset, and that's the way of doing it. You could say no.
Speaker 174549.92s - 4559.8s
I mean, you don't have to put out a book talking about murdering a puppy and lying about meeting Kim Jong-un PERSON. You could say no.
Speaker 144559.9s - 4561.18s
There's always had option as well.
Speaker 174561.56s - 4562.1s
Got about that.
Speaker 144562.16s - 4563.04s
Are you okay with this?
Speaker 174565.38s - 4568.06s
Employees at Denver GPE's water department
Speaker 144568.06s - 4577.38s
did a Backstreet Boys ORG parody about water conservation. And as you'll hear, they nailed it.
Speaker 114577.38s - 4581.86s
My yarn needs water
Speaker 144581.86s - 4583.68s
when it
Speaker 114583.68s - 4588.48s
gets hard to believe
Speaker 134588.48s - 4596.84s
these dry days DATE that I water fly away.
Speaker 114597.26s - 4601.24s
Tell me why you don't water when it's raining.
Speaker 134602.04s - 4606.14s
Tell me why you don't water It's windy
Speaker 114606.14s - 4607.94s
Tell me why
Speaker 134607.94s - 4609.76s
Don't let you water
Speaker 114609.76s - 4612.12s
You're giving me a dirty look
Speaker 144612.12s - 4614.32s
They water
Speaker 264614.32s - 4617.7s
They call themselves the
Speaker 04617.7s - 4619.98s
Splash Street boys
Speaker 264619.98s - 4630.36s
Are you okay with this?
Speaker 144632.76s - 4634s
Are you okay with this? Hammer and Nigel PERSON records
Speaker 134634s - 4636.82s
greater than the Splash Street Boys ORG.
Speaker 174638.16s - 4646.76s
And that's all I'm going to say about this. Now, Allison PERSON, you probably grew up in the era of having Backstreet Boys ORG on your radio.
Speaker 44647.2s - 4660.84s
Maybe you had the poster in your room. I don't know. Does this move the needle for you? You know what? I give them credit for trying. I mean, it was quality. And it was quality. I mean,
Speaker 174660.84s - 4680.12s
they really tried their hardest. Like, they took it really seriously. Like, when we do funny, wacky songs here, we usually throw it together in five minutes. And, you know, and hardest. Like, they took it really seriously. Like, when we do funny, wacky songs here, we usually throw it together in five minutes and half of us are loaded. But they took time and effort, and they tried to really sing well on it. And for that reason, I'm out. It's nothing. I'm not okay with this. This is a big nothing burger.
Speaker 144680.86s - 4685.8s
Do we have time for one more? Which one do you want to do there? Let's do Adam Wainwright PERSON.
Speaker 174686s - 4689.46s
The Major League Baseball pitcher that you just mentioned, Adam Wainwright PERSON,
Speaker 144690.34s - 4697.68s
released his first country album, Hammer, last month, called Hey Y'all WORK_OF_ART. Here's a quick clip from the song, Hey Y'all WORK_OF_ART.
Speaker 214697.98s - 4710.16s
When we say, hey y'all, how you been? How's your daddy and your mama and them? Y'all want to take a ride down to the lake. Pass ahead. No time to waste.
Speaker 144710.84s - 4717.74s
Again, former Major League Baseball pitcher Adam Wainwright PERSON in his new country album. Are you okay with this?
Speaker 174718.28s - 4749.16s
Adam Wainwright played for the St. Louis Cardinals ORG. Oh, boy. That song sucks. That song sucks. Everything about St. Louis Cardinals ORG. Oh, boy. That song sucks. That song sucks. Everything about St. Louis Cardinals ORG baseball sucks. Nothing brings me joy more than to see them struggling right now.Cubs ORG have like one of the worst bullpins in baseball. It's a total liability. And they're still above the St. Louis Cardinals ORG in the standings. Screw Adam Wainwright PERSON. That song sucks. Life is so much more than a diagnosis.
Speaker 224749.74s - 4773.38s

Speaker 144775.8s - 4779.58s
Hello, it's the Hammer and Nigel show. My name is Nigel. That is Jason Hammer PERSON,
Speaker 174779.58s - 4799.9s
right over there with a special guest on the hotline. Tony Kennett is an investigative reporter for the Daily Signal. He's also the host of the Tony Kennett cast 7 p.m. right after our program here on 93 WIBC ORG. Tony, your thoughts on Indiana Primary EVENT. What an embarrassment.
Speaker 164800.48s - 4820.46s
What an absolute embarrassment. I mean, the low turnout was gross. Obviously, you guys know I live in Greenfield GPE. I live out in the 6th District LOC. I see Jefferson Shreve PERSON walk away with that because everyone had massive egos. And so we split the vote right down the middle in a hundred different ways that greatly upset me.I'm not going to hide it.
Speaker 174820.62s - 4822.46s
What do you mean everybody had massive egos?
Speaker 164823.34s - 4855.5s
So you had Speedy and you had Collier PERSON, who both were so busy slapping each other like junior high girls that they actually ended up splitting the vote. Instead of attacking the easy target, which is Shreve PERSON, and not even in a good way. Speedy's ad where he just played Shreve calling himself a moderate Republican NORP over and over, that's your ad. I mean, he literally had article after article during his mayoral election where he was anti-second amendment and he was pro-choice. Two things that, I don't know if youknow this about the very conservative 6th District LOC, are kind of important to the voters.
Speaker 174856.18s - 4862.92s
Oh, man. And the Shreve voters, Tony PERSON, they already are sending me trolling emails. I read one when I did
Speaker 164862.92s - 4870.64s
my hit with Rob and Casey PERSON earlier. They're basically saying scoreboard into my face. I don't even live in the 6th District LOC.
Speaker 174871.64s - 4874.98s
I mean, look, I will take every single bit of their ire.
Speaker 164875.1s - 4898.4s
They're more than welcome to mock me for hating Jefferson Shreve PERSON as much as they want. I despise him. People on the hill already, by the way, despise him. He was a poor choice. And by the way, it's not just Speedy and Collier's fault. It's also guys like Representative John Jacobs PERSON, who had some kind of insane idea that if he just walked out there and just said the name God loud enough, that like he would magically get elected.
Speaker 144898.4s - 4905.28s
Oh, wait. Are you taking about John Jacob, Jesusheimer Schmidt PERSON? Is that who you're talking about? Is that campaign ad?
Speaker 164906.04s - 4968.98s
I am the independent fundamental Baptist NORP evangelical. I can cite scripture on air anytime you're ready to go. But I do not use the magical hand of God picking people from the dirt as an argument for why you should elect me. Do you know why? Because that's disgusting and it's scumming. There is nothing in theBible WORK_OF_ART that suggests that God magically picks people from the earth and says you should run for office. That's ego and that's pride and that's snake oil salesman. You know what? Bill Fraser PERSON shouldn't have been running either. If you're running ads that go, oh, Ronald Reagan picked me back in 1842, why are you winning? Go to the nursing home, old man. I'm so sick of it. We had a great opportunity in the sixth for a really good, I would have been fine with Collier or Speedy. I know Candle doesn't agree with me like that, and we talked about that,by the way, yesterday while I was mourning the loss of my district. And I would have rather had either one of those than an actual, by definition, rhino, now running for the sixth. It's insane.
Speaker 174968.98s - 4980.26s
Now, to be fair, though, at least there's someone alive that won those districts because in the seventh, in the seventh, now this is kind of my backyard here.
Speaker 164980.64s - 4982.08s
A dead woman came out the winner.
Speaker 194982.54s - 4983.64s
You've got to be kidding me.
Speaker 264984.06s - 4990.02s
I mean, given the choices in the seventh, you had Gabe Whitley PERSON, who has, and I don't even
Speaker 174990.02s - 4994.84s
say allegedly at this point, because I've talked to the state offices in Texas GPE, Gabe
Speaker 164994.84s - 5021.28s
Whitley, who invented people to be his donor and campaign manager and whatever so that he could escape defamation cases, who committed all kinds of election fraud. Can't wait for those investigations to get very fully underway. He couldn't even get enough people to beat a corpse. That is the most embarrassing nonsense. That's like the U.S. women's soccer team losing to the 15-year-old boys from Texas GPE.He finished last.
Speaker 175021.38s - 5025.24s
It wasn't like just the corpse beat him. The corpse won. The corpse beat. The corpse
Speaker 165025.24s - 5070.84s
beat like three other people. I mean, again, realistically, I think the true lesson to learn here is that as Kendall put it best to me yesterday, we were talking on the phone because I tell you what, this was almost bad enough to make me run against Shreve PERSON as an independent. And I'm not joking. I was that frustrated with the results. That he made the point, it's a very, very good point, that Indiana is so solidly Republican NORP that you do not have to care. And because you do not have to care, and because the Indiana Republican Party has such silly, stupid rules for its primaries, all you have to do to win an election in the state is buy the seat. You just got to buy the seat. No one cares, no one's researching candidates, no one's actually candidates. No one'sactually looking at what matters. As long as there's an elephant on their picture, then we can
Speaker 145070.84s - 5076.74s
send them to Washington. Anything you are happy with that you saw yesterday? You said, okay, I like that.
Speaker 165077.42s - 5085.18s
I mean, I'm happy that it's not Suzanne Crouch or Chambers PERSON as the gubernatorial nominee. So, honestly, that's a win.
Speaker 145086.66s - 5086.92s
It's about as good as it gets for you.
Speaker 165088.72s - 5088.82s
I'm happy that someone did not win.
Speaker 145089.72s - 5089.8s
That's what I'm happy with.
Speaker 165092.24s - 5123.56s
Yeah, I mean, I wish I could be more enthusiastic. I really do. But as far as the other congressional races in the state, I will be the first to admit I haven't been following them closely other than being embarrassed at Sparts PERSON and Goodsrich ads in the fifth. And obviously the rumors surrounding Baird in the fourth, I really don't care as much about that as I do about my own congressional district, from Columbus to Richmond GPE. Those are my eastern central people. You know what I mean? And, man, I just can't hide the fact that I'm bum, guys. I feel like my team lost in the NCAA ORG.
Speaker 175124.14s - 5162.48s
Tony Kennett joining us of the Tony Kennett cast here at 93 WIBC ORG. So I know we're probably getting ahead of ourselves here, but let's be honest. It's Indiana. The Republican NORP governor's got a really good chance to win. Republican NORP nominee, really good chance to win and become governor. What do you think it's going to look like at the Indiana GOP ORG when you get a governor like Mike Braun PERSON? Do you see him trying to shake some things up a little bit?Would that be a good thing? Curious as to your perspective on what his run as governor could look like.
Speaker 165163.36s - 5200.36s
Mike Braun has voted more conservatively as a United States GPE senator than he, than any of the recent Indiana GPE governors have governed as far as a social perspective. Again, he voted pretty much on par with Mike Lee, who is probably my favorite senator currently serving from Utah GPE. So there's a good chance, but I think that it's more out of bronze hands, which is kind of a wild thing to say. And it all comes down to the delegates. It all comes down to the big delegate election here in a couple of months. That's when we find out just how bad the establishment has it here for the Republican Party ORG.
Speaker 145200.82s - 5206.22s
Now, let's not get ahead of ourselves, like Hammer PERSON said, because he does, he still has to
Speaker 05206.22s - 5211.1s
beat McCormick, the Democrat, also running for governor. I heard on Wish TV ORG, our news gathering
Speaker 195211.1s - 5216.82s
partners this morning, that part of what she'll be concentrating on in her role as a governor,
Speaker 165216.94s - 5223.94s
if she gets it, is women's rights in the environment. Okay. I actually, I actually heard
Speaker 195223.94s - 5225.44s
that's the public. Okay. Her campaign is going to be concentrating on women's heard that the public.
Speaker 05225.76s - 5226.32s
Okay.
Speaker 165230.06s - 5230.32s
Her campaign is going to be concentrating on women's rights and the environment.
Speaker 145230.76s - 5230.82s
There's that.
Speaker 135232.08s - 5232.22s
Nigel PERSON, I'm going to make you a promise.
Speaker 165236.38s - 5237.38s
When I am the CEO of Amazon ORG, I am going to invest into plastic unicorns.
Speaker 135243.7s - 5244.18s
Much like McCormick PERSON's election to governor, those have an equal percentage chance of actually happening.
Speaker 165250.5s - 5250.68s
What do you make of Nikki Haley getting 22% of the vote in the Indiana GPE primary?
Speaker 145257.2s - 5257.4s
Because like I'm sure you've seen, there's a bunch of never-Trumpers going all over social media saying,
Speaker 165258.96s - 5259.24s
this is a red flag.
Speaker 175263.96s - 5270.92s
He couldn't even get a full 80% on the ballot in Indiana GPE. This is a red flag for November. I don't buy it, but I'm curious as to your perspective.
Speaker 165272.74s - 5330.18s
Well, we don't even have to get into opinions on this. That's a load of crap for two reasons. Number one, this was almost a record low in Indiana GPE primary turnout. Sorry, in recent history, it was really rough. So that would be the first that kind of throws that aside. You'll have a lot more Republicans coming out to vote in the general election in November, and then we'll see how the turnout looks as far as who voted for whom. Number two, Indiana is a pseudo-open primary state, which means that basically as long as you're registered to vote, you can show up and then choose a Democrat or a Republican ballot. There were a lot of Democrats who were voting on the Republican ballot this year. The Indiana Democrats NORP had a large campaign for it. This is where it's suspected that a large portion of Brad Chambers' PERSON votes came from, you know, coming in third. And I don't know. I think that's probably where a good portion is from. And then lastly, I mean, gauging primary support for a candidate who's out,I don't know. I just don't think it matters, nor does anybody care. That's my opinion for that two points.
Speaker 145334.04s - 5348.92s
Who wins the award for Best Campaign Attack Ad, in your opinion? I say it's Goodrich, going after Sparch PERSON the way he did. But he didn't have anything to do with policy. You hear this woman screaming in the background. And it's like these two people out and they're going to be interviewing for the job for Sparts PERSON.
Speaker 175349.28s - 5352.26s
Who had the ad where somebody was photoshopped in a dress?
Speaker 145352.66s - 5354.44s
Like, who was that? Oh, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 165354.5s - 5378.24s
That was that good, wasn't that good rich again in the, in the dress? I mean, the Sparts PERSON team? Right. I think those two. That's not what I thought was the best one, though. And you guys may not, You guys may be shocked.I think Jefferson Shreve PERSON had the best attack ad. It was politically brilliant. He took Speedy PERSON, and he said, who was the guy who did all this? Mike Speedy PERSON. And then the little trumpet went, wha, wah, wah, wah.
Speaker 195380.24s - 5381.48s
It was pretty good.
Speaker 165381.78s - 5382.68s
That's solid gold.
Speaker 195382.8s - 5407.68s
It is. It is a good move, and also not a bad political strategy strategy to play what the far left called you in your mayoral run. Again, if we're talking about objectively good political campaigning, which, you know, if you're worth a billion and have no children, at least you should have something going for you. So that's quite specifically what he did a pretty good job on. I can't, you know, I'm not going to hate on the game, you know what I mean? Right.
Speaker 175407.9s - 5426.3s
We've been talking about voter turnout all day. You mentioned it earlier. Why do you think it was so unbelievably bad this year when it's a big election, president, governor, Senate ORG seats, high profile state races? Why do you think it was so bad?
Speaker 165427.12s - 5494.38s
I mean, there's a cultural reason, and then there's also a campaign reason. So the cultural reason is that we're in Indiana GPE, you don't have to care. We have a super majority. I mean, things are fairly Republican NORP. It's not New York GPE. It's not California.Things are okay. So why do you need to waste your time caring about politics enough to come out and vote in the primary? That's it. That is the main cultural reason in Indiana GPE. You do not have to care. And no, property taxes are not so high that it's driving people to the ballot box. Are they high? Yeah. Do I like them? No. The fact of the matter is, it's not yet enough to actuallyreally upset voters in the state. So that's the cultural reason. The campaign reason is because all of the ads said the same thing. I mean, how many of the ads that you heard on the air that you saw on TV talked about the border? Every single one of them, I'm sorry. Was there a primary candidate who was like for an open border or something? They were getting out there and going, I am the same as my opponents. I also want the border closed, I also hate taxes. I don't like the radical left. It's like, great, why don't you stand next here to the other plastic buzz light years in the aisle?
Speaker 175494.56s - 5501.88s
You know what I like, Tony PERSON? I like that Raju PERSON believed in me. That's what I liked. Raju, Raju, Raid, rawhu.
Speaker 195502.96s - 5505.2s
Rain in red, white, and blue.
Speaker 165505.96s - 5510.4s
I love that one, because it was the only one that wasn't full of the same crap.
Speaker 175510.52s - 5510.74s
Right.
Speaker 165510.8s - 5515.54s
The other ones were. I don't even know what district he was running for, but I liked his ads.
Speaker 145516.28s - 5534.22s
One more thing here before we let you go. Big picture, Donald Trump, the story Daniels trial, she was on a stand yesterday, and I believe she will be tomorrow as well. Even CNN lawyers are saying it went extremely bad yesterday. What is really happening with this trial?
Speaker 165534.96s - 5539.96s
I mean, they're hinging the entire case on the mental intellect of a porn star, if that tells you anything.
Speaker 195540.26s - 5543.8s
Well, would you put it like that? Okay. I mean, I'm sorry.
Speaker 165544.8s - 5586.98s
I've heard her speak in public before, and her big attack ad on Trump PERSON was that she described the shape of his ding-dong. So, like, I don't know, man. And why are people surprised that the creepy porn lawyer, as Tucker described, and Stormy Daniels PERSON getting out there and talking about how she was scared? It's the same with all the other cases. They can't just say, hey, it looks like Trump PERSON broke the law. They have to make him out to be the evil scientist from Dr. Doolittle and also mega-robot Hitler. So, oh, I was scared that the mob was going to come after me if I didn't take Trump PERSON's hush money. Well, now it's gone from a simple case to, oh, you're insane. Can you move the tinfoil,
Speaker 175587.06s - 5604.78s
