Speaker 20s - 7.9s

Is that better? Can you hear me now? See, I had this really cool opening. I was like, welcome to Ground Patrol Morning Live WORK_OF_ART. I'm Jamie Thomas alongside Sarah Leskey PERSON.

Speaker 011.24s - 24.06s

So what we've established already at 9.30 a.m. Central is that we are not meant to do an early morning show, despite the fact that J.T. had his morning show voice already prepared.

Speaker 324.22s - 26.14s

We've been practicing it. I've been practicing it. I've been trying to do that, yes.

Speaker 026.14s - 27.3s

Good morning, everyone.

Speaker 227.64s - 29.2s

Hello, this is Jamie Thomas PERSON.

Speaker 329.62s - 37.44s

We're here to bring you the news on this Sunday morning and get you set for game four between the Winnipeg Jets and Colorado Avalanche ORG.

Speaker 237.94s - 39.06s

It's five degrees outside.

Speaker 339.36s - 41.24s

It's a beautiful week coming up in front of everybody.

Speaker 241.42s - 43.24s

And I hope you have, hello, Nicole PERSON.

Speaker 043.42s - 43.82s

Good morning.

Speaker 243.92s - 49.76s

Too early for mics to work. Exactly. Thank you, Nicole PERSON, for you on exactly what I'm going through here because this is our fourth

Speaker 349.76s - 59.6s

show and I haven't figured out how to turn on the microphone but no big deal thank you junkie con happy to see you guys back thank you so much game four EVENT is on the horizon no one said happy to hear you just happy

Speaker 059.6s - 66s

to see you see see see see so you don't want to hear us you You just want to see us talking. So I see you have your coffee.

Speaker 366.14s - 92.34s

It's very, it's not super early, but it is an early game. And I think we can be thankful for that because the Jets down two games to one in this series and not having a whole lot of time to think about what happened in the third period of game number three.Jets trailer series two games to one. It's game four puck drop schedule for 130 central time TIME. And noon 30 in Denver GPE. Like how like is that the earliest game you've ever had to go to, Sarah PERSON, in your time doing this?

Speaker 092.88s - 98.88s

Yeah. Yeah. Because I mean, you don't usually see it's like games earlier than this one. So I'm a big fan.

Speaker 398.88s - 106.92s

Always have been of early games for it. Conn Hallibuck is as well, we know. So hopefully that will bode well for today.

Speaker 0106.92s - 125.44s

But anything where there is not a morning skate, I am in hours in between, I'm always, I'm always on board for it. But I think that, and we'll hear from Mason Appleton in a little bit that I had asked him about that. And obviously it changes the guy's routine a bit.And nobody's superstitious. Don't ever ask a player if they're superstitious because

Speaker 1125.44s - 130.84s

they aren't. They'll just tell you that they're very routine oriented. Not superstitious. I just have

Speaker 2130.84s - 136.44s

to do the exact same routine in the exact same order every single game. But it obviously changes

Speaker 1136.44s - 141.88s

a few things for for them as well. Yeah, for sure. And I think Connor Hellbach PERSON, as you mentioned,

Speaker 0141.88s - 145.16s

as always love playing the afternoon games. Not sure what there is.

Speaker 2145.74s - 145.82s

Thank you, Matt PERSON.

Speaker 0146.62s - 146.82s

Lots of great comments.

Speaker 3148.36s - 150.56s

And before we roll on the show here, this is all about you guys again this morning.

Speaker 2151.86s - 151.94s

Put your comments in.

Speaker 0152.22s - 164.92s

Of course, we're going to have a contest giveaway coming up a little bit later in the show. There it is. Connor Hellabuck Primary Way FAC jersey. And before we get into that, even further,I got two more posters as they were such a big hit before game number three.

Speaker 2170.08s - 174.8s

And as you mentioned, Sarah, you're just talking about Mason Appleton. We just happened to have one of these in the bad boys in the back room. So I got one of those ones. Green Bay, Wisconsin GPE's

Speaker 0174.8s - 180.44s

own Mason Appleton. You never go wrong with anyone that's from Maine Bay or that's a Packers ORG fan.

Speaker 3180.86s - 185.14s

We don't need to talk about this right now. That's right. Are you? Never mark.

Speaker 0186.06s - 186.1s

We'll talk about another time.

Speaker 3190.38s - 191.78s

And the other one, of course, Dylan DeMello, he had the plus 46 in the regular season.

Speaker 0194.02s - 194.12s

So those will be secondary prizes were given away.

Speaker 3197.16s - 197.46s

Of course, the password will be given away a little bit later in the show.

Speaker 0199.7s - 201.08s

Remember not to ask us for it because it's all about the drama. We have to give you drama.

Speaker 3201.24s - 204.82s

We have to make you wait until the last part of the show to give you the password.

Speaker 0204.92s - 208.44s

And of course, we'll contact you if you are indeed a winner.

Speaker 3208.72s - 209.86s

So, I mean.

Speaker 0209.96s - 214.86s

Can we just, I'm going through the comments because just I'm trying to multitask,

Speaker 3215.02s - 217.02s

which I excel at. Oh, so good.

Speaker 1217.02s - 230.88s

Does not agree with that. Jason, huge jets fan watching from London, England GPE. We need to win this one. It would be great to see this series tied up to two apiece. But welcome Jason. Great look. We've gone international, J.T.

Speaker 0231s - 235.54s

I love it. Yeah. See, it's amazing what happens to the internet and all this stuff.

Speaker 3237.7s - 241.06s

Worldwide. Yes. We're so huge right now.

Speaker 0241.06s - 247.38s

That's worldwide. That's my next, that's my next contract negotiation. Listen, we're huge now. We're so huge right now. Is that Mr. Worldwide? That's my next, that's my next contract negotiation.

Speaker 3248s - 249.04s

Listen, we're huge now.

Speaker 0249.08s - 249.64s

We're international.

Speaker 3250.06s - 252.44s

So the numbers don't lie.

Speaker 0253.28s - 256.64s

All right, but people do want to know who's replacing Dylan PERSON.

Speaker 3256.84s - 258.32s

Is there any more news on it?

Speaker 0258.36s - 271.78s

All right, let's get to it. As mentioned, obviously with the time right now, being that it is 834 in Denver, which I almost didn't show up on time just very quickly because all I kept thinking 930 is what time this shows at.

Speaker 1272.08s - 278.76s

And then last night I was having dinner. And I said to Paul Edmund's, oh, hold on. It's not 930 our time.

Speaker 0279.12s - 291.08s

No, no. No. So I was almost late for this one. There is no update on Brendan, Dylan, other than what we heard yesterday from teammates as well as Rick Bonas PERSON.

Speaker 2291.08s - 293.56s

So not expecting him to be in the lineup today.

Speaker 0293.68s - 363.78s

Anyone that saw the video from Sportsnet ORG, if you saw the broadcaster, there were a number of pictures that people had isolated and really zoomed in on afterwards. It was a huge gash on his hand. But I think optimistic, obviously, with the news that there was no significant damage being done to it in terms of tendons or anything like that. So great news on that front, but no, I'm not expecting to see him in the lineup today. So this was going to lead to one of our questions for it as to who would you put in the lineupfor Brendan Dillon PERSON? Would you put in Logan Stanley PERSON, who we've obviously already seen in this series, or would you put Colin Miller PERSON in, who has not been in, but obviously has more experience and is a little bit more of a veteran presence. So I want to hear from, we want to hear from all of you going through. What do you do about putting LB in? Okay, well, that's, that is not happening. That is, it is not, they are not putting in, um, Lauren Brousa for Connor Hallibuck PERSON. But who would you guys put in on the blue line?I think that's obviously something that people are going to be watching for. Yeah.

Speaker 3363.94s - 387.3s

Tanya and Lori both saying it was that cut was scary. Absolutely. Sandy PERSON pointing out Morgan Barron was cut last this time last year in Vegas GPE also very scary. And that one was a little more obvious that cut anyways as opposed to Brendan Dillon's PERSON is the location of the injury. So I think we have to be thankful that there was no damage or serious damage to Brendan Dillon PERSON. So maybe day to day is much better than being out for the playoffs.

Speaker 0387.46s - 388.46s

So thankful in that aspect.

Speaker 3388.96s - 394.34s

I was a little worried. I was a little worried J.T. I mean, I was very worried when you saw the amount of blood that also.

Speaker 2394.34s - 397.66s

You think about Brendan Dillon PERSON wearing his career.

Speaker 0397.86s - 420.08s

He's at the end of his contract. And I was concerned. And I thought, is this the last time that we've seen Brendan Dillon in a Winnipeg Jets ORG, potentially in a Winnipeg Jets ORG jersey? you don't, you didn't know going in. So when it came back that it was day to day and you know what a warrior Dylan PERSON is, you know that if there is any opportunity for him to be able to get back in, he will because he's a real leader on that team.

Speaker 3420.96s - 438.3s

Yeah, I think. And then now we go into kind of, you know, a lot of people I'm seeing Stanley PERSON. So there's a variety. We've got a lot of Millers PERSON. We've got a lot of Stanlies PERSON. So we've already seen Logan Stanley PERSON. I like how, you know, Eagle Eyes says I think we need Stanley's toughness, replace Dylan PERSON.I'm going to go with Colin Miller PERSON in this aspect because we haven't seen them yet, a red-handed shot.

Speaker 0438.8s - 450.22s

I think you put Sandberg up beside Neil Pionk on that second defense pairing. And then you put Schmidt with Miller, obviously two teammates from the 2018, Vegas Golden Knight team that went to the Stanley Cup EVENT final.

Speaker 3450.84s - 460.86s

Miller PERSON's been there before. We haven't seen him yet. And again, that red-handed shot. So any thoughts from you, Sarah PERSON, in this aspect as our viewers chime in as we go along here?

Speaker 0461.24s - 467.14s

Yeah, I think that it's going to be, I think that it probably be a difficult decision for this coaching staff.

Speaker 1467.26s - 469.8s

I don't think that you look,

Speaker 3470.1s - 472.36s

there's benefits to Stanley PERSON.

Speaker 1472.66s - 474.7s

If you're looking at just pros and cons on paper,

Speaker 0474.92s - 513.24s

I mean, obviously the penalty kill. It's such a storyline in this series. And you need with Brendan Dillon PERSON not being in the lineup, you need somebody that can play PK, but also Stanley PERSON does bring size in a physical aspect as well for it. So I think you could go back and forth. It'll be really interesting to see not only who the coaching staff goes with, but I think afterwards their explanation as to why they selected the one that they did. And I think it's been difficult for Miller PERSON because we haven't really seen him get the opportunity since being acquired. You come in as that seventh D.

Speaker 1513.48s - 522.18s

And so we think that when the opportunity presents itself that he would be the one that jumps in. But Logan's also played the first couple games of this series.

Speaker 0522.56s - 556.26s

So he has a familiarity with it as well. So it'll be, it'll be interesting to see. Rick Bonas is speaking to the media here in Denver GPE. I'm trying to do the math quickly, but at 1015 roughly mountain time. So you want to make sure that, although we will be finished by then, you want to make sure that you stay tuned to NERBX. Mitchell Clinton PERSON, you know, will tweet out the information right away. I will as well. But stay tuned to your Winnipeg Jets ORG social media feeds because we'll be able to update youif Rick Bonas PERSON says anything about it. Okay.

Speaker 3556.4s - 582.5s

Just for those of you not sure, we have a Connor Helibuck jersey up for grabs today. How do you win it? Well, there's a link in the chat. You click on that. You put in your answer as to who do you think should come in today between Logan Stanley and Colin Miller PERSON.And we'll let you know after the show if you are a winner. In case you didn't believe me, see, I like to prove things. I'm just throwing out. So there's the Connor Hala Buck PERSON jersey. That's where we're going to make.

Speaker 0583.78s - 591.04s

Plus the secondary prizes of the posters. i'm not going to pull it up because we got to get rolling along here as this morning goes along right let's let's look at the

Speaker 3591.04s - 596.64s

lines if if we can or what we think that they could be so obviously you look at that at the blue

Speaker 0596.64s - 607.6s

line we were still up in the air as to what could be this is the way that things looked for games for game three do you see we know that they called up axel yonson

Speaker 1607.6s - 613.16s

vialbi yesterday from the moose their season unfortunately ending quicker than what they had anticipated

Speaker 2613.16s - 620.24s

do you see a spot where you think that he could go in and if so where well bones did mention

Speaker 1620.24s - 624.9s

yesterday that they'd like his speed up front and that is one thing where the jets have kind of

Speaker 0624.9s - 627.82s

been lacking the series so far and i'm not saying they don't have enough team speed

Speaker 3627.82s - 632.98s

but Colorado ORG has had an advantage in that department so far. So he did say that he would fit in

Speaker 0632.98s - 638.76s

nicely on the penalty kill. So I'm not quite sure at this point who comes out. So would it be

Speaker 3638.76s - 646.28s

actually, would it be David Gustafin for instance. But it sounds like the idea is the way Bones was talking yesterday,

Speaker 0646.28s - 664.56s

that Axelianzum PERSON, if you all be, will be coming in today. But that's what we're going to wait until 1130 central time TIME to find out. But I think from the way he was talking, it sounds like there could be a change. And to me, David Gustafin PERSON would be the guy coming out in that situation.Yeah, I think that this is, if you're looking at the need for speed,

Speaker 2664.78s - 666.88s

then certainly axel

Speaker 0666.88s - 684.54s

fulfills that for it you look on that fourth line as well um i see gustson PERSON being out again you're looking at the penalty kill well and there's a you know i've been listening to or seeing a lot of chat too about people wondering about cole perfetti and will he be able to get back in but

Speaker 1684.54s - 688.74s

i think that you have to look at where you would put him in

Speaker 0688.74s - 692.22s

because his skill set, obviously, is not, in opinion,

Speaker 1692.22s - 696.06s

is not one that you, you don't put him in on the fourth line

Speaker 0696.06s - 731.04s

in order for him to be effective, particularly if you're looking, this is a game in which you need to have more speed right now. Axel PERSON would fulfill that. So it'll be interesting to see whether or not he gets his opportunity to give it a shot here today. Because they have to get a little bit faster with it as team speed. And they need to be able to try to contain Colorado ORG speed, which I have to say.So I've never been, this was my first time ever being inside ball arena where I haven't been a part of a broadcast before. So I've been up in the press box. First off, this is, that arena is so steep.

Speaker 1731.7s - 738.08s

It is unbelievable when going up there and it makes you appreciate building like Canada

Speaker 0738.08s - 743.96s

Life Center even more with just how close you are to the ice. But that bird's eye view of,

Speaker 1744.38s - 746.6s

you just look at the transition game,

Speaker 0746.68s - 756.7s

and not that we didn't already know that Colorado ORG is so fast with it, but just the speed, it's on display that much more, or at least it wasn't in game three.

Speaker 3758.3s - 788.1s

MK, AJF PERSON, he's going to bring so much energy and enthusiasm, energize the line and team. Roxanne PERSON, thank you. They got this. Thank you for your positivity on this Sunday morning as the Jets try to even the series of two games apiece. And come back here for game number five on Tuesday. So looking down to what we're looking to see today for Game 4 EVENT, 130 Central Puckterop. To me, this is the time for the Jets ORG stars to shine. We've seen Nathan McKinan, Miko Ranson PERSON, and company elevate their game.

Speaker 0788.2s - 793.08s

So now, in turn, I think you have to see Kyle Connor, Mark Schifley PERSON,

Speaker 2793.26s - 795.52s

Gabriel PERSON will already raise their game a little bit more.

Speaker 0795.6s - 796.42s

They're going to be counted on heavily.

Speaker 3796.58s - 808.4s

Yes, Colorado ORG has last change, but these are the games. They're your big players, your big time players have to come through. Second lines scored a goal. And now I think it's integral that the big guys come up big.

Speaker 0808.48s - 824.86s

Josh Morrissey scored in game three as well. But I think this is Mark Shifley's PERSON line. It's their turn to shine and the Jets ORG will need that significantly here in game fourth. They're going to tie this series. Neil Pionk said yesterday in his media availability,we've got to stick with it. And leaders got to lead.

Speaker 1825.24s - 827.04s

And I think exactly what you said.

Speaker 3827.04s - 833.74s

But I also feel as if that top line hasn't been the line that has stood out most throughout

Speaker 0833.74s - 839.36s

this series in terms of who you are looking for more of mention. I mean, Tyler Tofully PERSON got goal and great.

Speaker 1839.56s - 844.44s

Still looking to see more from that second line than what we have seen so far.

Speaker 0844.84s - 853.14s

And one of the things, though, that I think can be a positive, obviously, for this Jets ORG team is that we haven't seen their best yet.

Speaker 1853.24s - 861.46s

There is no doubt about that. I think that we are seeing now the best from the avalanche. They have elevated their game.

Speaker 0861.64s - 879.7s

We haven't seen that from Winnipeg ORG yet. So there is still a lot more to give. And we know what their best can look like. But they certainly, your top players need to show up in this one. They need to be the difference makers. I completely agree with you on that one. And I think the mood

Speaker 1879.7s - 892.4s

around the team is really good right now. There is no, I mean, you're down to one. Okay, you can still come home with this series tied it to a piece. This is not this insurmountable series.

Speaker 0892.62s - 919.38s

You're not looking at being down right now going into this game. You're not down 3-1. And there's just, there's a lot more to give with it. So when they've had a full practice yesterday, everyone on the ice that was expected to be there, so no Brendan Dillon, no Morgan Barron PERSON. But just the mood around the team was still light.I think it helped out a lot the fact that they had the news that, oh, look at that. Look at that flow, huh?

Speaker 2920.5s - 921.78s

It's just, it's impressive.

Speaker 3922.1s - 922.6s

I'm jealous.

Speaker 0923.04s - 926.6s

We need to see that like flowing down the ice as he goes down the left side.

Speaker 3926.6s - 928.06s

From side to side.

Speaker 0928.26s - 936s

Which right outside, actually right outside where the Jets ORG room is or the visiting room is inside the arena.

Speaker 3936s - 942.28s

Is the most intense wind tunnel that I have ever experienced inside an arena.

Speaker 0942.72s - 947.18s

And in a Ries joke that I would bring the wind machine with me everywhere.

Speaker 1947.58s - 957.7s

You walk out there. You just, your hair's going forward back. So we got to get Axel PERSON out there because I think this could be some sort of, I don't know, panties would be commercial or something.

Speaker 3958s - 959.82s

No, it's the start of a runway episode, Sarah PERSON.

Speaker 0959.86s - 960.76s

Oh, there you go.

Speaker 3961.42s - 966.96s

It's very true. So you know, came into the lineup. There's just like, really slow motion.

Speaker 0967.6s - 967.84s

Yeah.

Speaker 3968.16s - 969.56s

Yeah, water bottle in the hair.

Speaker 0971.04s - 971.68s

That's right.

Speaker 2971.68s - 973.04s

We've all seen it before.

Speaker 3973.44s - 973.6s

Yeah.

Speaker 2973.76s - 974.16s

That's right.

Speaker 3974.88s - 975.44s

Runway episode.

Speaker 2976s - 976.56s

That's right.

Speaker 0976.64s - 993.2s

Vanessa PERSON, I see in the chat asking, how do we enter? There is a link that has been posted here within the chat. I believe that it was pinned by getting distracted. There is a link that has been posted here within the chat. I believe that it was pinned, but getting distracted. I am getting distracted mid thought. I'm trying to help Vanessa PERSON out here.

Speaker 1993.58s - 999.14s

Thanks, Gary PERSON. Passwords still to come for Ed PERSON, but it is.

Speaker 01003.14s - 1006.96s

Yeah, password still to come, but the link has been posted within the chat. So take a look at that. Don't worry, Vanessa PERSON. You're not too late to enter in.

Speaker 31007.3s - 1007.62s

Boom.

Speaker 01007.74s - 1019.14s

See, ask and you sell receive on Facebook ORG. There it is right, though. I believe it during the live broadcast, Mosser on YouTube ORG, it just sits there. The link, okay, you gave me the shoulder shrug. Never mind.

Speaker 31020s - 1021.52s

So I can't confirm that.

Speaker 01021.58s - 1023.7s

I cannot confirm that's how it works, so I apologize.

Speaker 31024.34s - 1028.7s

Another key for the Jets ORG, Captain obvious with it here,

Speaker 01028.82s - 1031s

stay out of the box, JETT.

Speaker 31031.7s - 1081.42s

Yes. It's so weird how everything transpired in game three. Like you have this perfect game being played through two periods. You got a goal from your second line. You scored a goal in the power play. Connor Hellebuck PERSON is unreal at that point, and then just how the wheels came off.Like, Mason Appleton PERSON is shooting the pot, trips the guy. Accidental high stick from Gabriel Lardy PERSON. I'm not going to go through this because we'll have PTSD afterwards, but it was just weird how everything transpired in the period. But that being said, you got to stay out of the box. The Jets did a great job on the penalty kill in game two here in this building. They were a perfect three for three. But giving Colorado six power plays is playing with fire 100% over. So I think that is clearly the captain obvious statement of the day, stay out of the box. And I'm pretty sure that message has been put through to the Winnipeg Jets ahead of game number four.

Speaker 01082.86s - 1087.66s

Yes. There's no doubt. And the penalties that took people were set with the officiating

Speaker 31087.66s - 1096.8s

and I think that you'll always, you'll always find them. But there is no doubt that the penalties that were called in that third period on the jets were penalties.

Speaker 01097.54s - 1123.8s

And I mean, you can take issue with some that weren't called earlier, but this is definitely, they need to be more disciplined. And we've seen the jets. We've seen the jets be that way. We've seen the jets have a PK, especially towards the end of the season that was performing well. They need to get back to that. But the easiest way to do that is without a doubt to stay out of the box. Moving on.

Speaker 31124.16s - 1125.14s

Yeah, let's go on.

Speaker 01125.14s - 1138.24s

How about the third period? Well, you know, when Neil Pionk was speaking yesterday, when he said, we've got to stick with it, he also talked about how there are these lapses that have been costing the jets and how it's

Speaker 11138.24s - 1140.58s

a cliche to say you have to play the full 60 minutes.

Speaker 01140.58s - 1166.24s

But it seems as if there are these five, six, maybe seven minute stretches in which they get away from their game. They get away from the structure that they're used to playing. And then that's when the avalanche are able to capitalize on it and have been able to be productive in terms of finding the back of the net and that they need to be more structured. You cannot give up, what are they at in terms of nine, I believe it is?Third period goals that they've allowed the

Speaker 11166.24s - 1168.36s

most of any teams so far in the postseason.

Speaker 01168.36s - 1209.54s

They've given up 17 in the overall in this series so far through three games. They're tied with the LA Kings ORG in terms of most goals allowed. But in particular, the third period, you go into game in game three, you go into that third period, you're up to one. And I think to myself, and I've said to a colleague beside us i go don't worry they're done now you looked at the way that they'd played in that second period you looked at the way that hellabuck PERSON had been playing and thoughtnope he's going to shut the door and then obviously the special teams took over at that point but the third period this is a team that has to be able to lock things down. Mosser PERSON,

Speaker 31209.58s - 1252.08s

can you throw up in Facebook ORG, the link again for the Connor Helibuck PERSON jersey? People say it keeps disappearing in their chat group. So Daniel Moss PERSON working behind the scenes hard for our fans. There it is on Facebook ORG. Do it now.Stop talking everybody. Just wait until everybody clicks on that link. Okay, everybody on Facebook ORG. We're taking care of you. Connor Hellebuck jersey giveaway. We have a chat coming Just wait until everybody clicks on that link. Okay, everybody on Facebook. We're taking care of you. Connor Hullabuck PERSON Jersey giveaway. We have a chat coming up with Mason Appleton PERSON on the way.But last but not least in terms of things that the, you know, we're looking to see today is containing Colorado ORG speed. And one day, Sarah PERSON, before I let you delve into this, one thing, one way to do this is stop giving the puck away at the Avalanche Blue Line and feeding to their transition game. Turnovers are so huge in this, but it's been very challenging for the Winnipeg Jess to contain Colorado ORG speed so far in this series.

Speaker 01252.54s - 1308.62s

Yeah, and that's where I think if we see some changes to the lineup, I mean, maybe it can help them with it. But the transition, the success that Colorado ORG has had off the rush is, has just been, I mean, that's, that's been the difference in my mind in this series. And so you know that Colorado ORG is going to get their chances. You know they are going to shoot everything from everywhere. Also would love to see the Jets ORG get some more shots on that because Colorado ORG is known for that. But if you can at least keep them to the outside a little bit more, if you can try to control play, control play in the offensive zone more than what we've been seeing so that you can try to limit the opportunities of Colorado ORG, I think would be a difference maker for this, for this Jets ORG team going into this game. Or it needs to be. They cannot keep letting Colorado ORG showcase their speed the way that they have. You're not going to be able to completely stop it. You need to be able to limit it, though.

Speaker 31309.82s - 1341.26s

Sheila PERSON, the code has not been released yet. They'll be up a little bit later in this show that says scrolls across the bottom. We're doing our best to continually put the link into Facebook ORG. Sometimes someone advised that maybe trying YouTube ORG would help a little bit better as well. Moving along, we've got a reminder of this contest. The old Connor of a Hellabuck ORG jersey. We've got a Dylan DeMello PERSON poster to give away as well. And Sarah, I think you talked to somebody today or yesterday. Would this be the guy you talked to?

Speaker 01342.02s - 1343.08s

It sure would be.

Speaker 31343.5s - 1346.82s

You look at the job that the Lowry PERSON line has done,

Speaker 01346.98s - 1381.72s

and obviously Mason Appleton PERSON has been a staple on that line that throughout this entire season. So I had the opportunity yesterday, since again, they don't have a morning skate today, caught up with him yesterday, to just get his thoughts heading into this afternoon game.Game four of this series is the Jets look to tie things up at two apiece. Let's start with the adversity that this team has faced. I mean, the way that this group has been able to overcome it at various points throughout the season, you're obviously faced with some now, whether it be the series or some injuries that you're having to contend with.

Speaker 11382.1s - 1415.16s

How do you describe the mood of this team right now in that dressing room? I think the mood's fine. Obviously we know we're down 2-1 and you kind of go on the road to get a split so we win tomorrow afternoon, 2-2 and then we got to the next three at home. So that's kind of our mindset, just like it was kind of their mindset heading into Winnipeg ORG. So split on the road's a win. So I think, you know, we feel good. We liked a lot of that game. Third specials kind of got away from us, but, you know, we play a disciplined game for 60 minutes tomorrow. I think I like their chances. Afternoon games. Are you a fan?

Speaker 01416.26s - 1420.64s

Yeah, like the morning's tough. You know, it's just such a different schedule. You're so used to

Speaker 11420.64s - 1424.26s

the same thing over and over. But once you kind of get to the rink, then it is what it is.

Speaker 01424.36s - 1429.24s

It's any other game then. But yeah, the morning's just a little different. Before it's a holiday, you change your schedule?

Speaker 11430.68s - 1431.96s

No nap, obviously.

Speaker 01432.08s - 1438.26s

Yeah, no nap. I'll just sleep until I probably like 8.30, get up, eat one meal, and then get on that 9.30 bus.

Speaker 11438.38s - 1449.64s

So, yeah, and then try to eat a snack at the rink. Because obviously a lot of times I feel like guys run into not eating enough before in those afternoon games. So you got to get, you got to feel your body and then, yeah, from there you hit the ground running.

Speaker 01449.82s - 1458.58s

You mentioned that you liked a lot of what you saw in game three from the team. What was the most frustrating part when you look overall at the way that the things ended?

Speaker 11458.74s - 1489.58s

Yeah, I mean, two one game going into the third on the road. Kind of right where we wanted the game to be. You know, and then penalties, obviously then they kind of put the game out of reach a little bit. So it wasn't a third period where you can really, you know, analyze and be like we got, you know, dominate five on five because there was just so little of it. But I feel like we got a, we got to do a better job with staying out ofthe box and obviously a better job of killing when the times come. And when you look at

Speaker 01489.58s - 1498.36s

that second period that you guys were able to play how you were able to play what was the key to being able to have some of the success that you did against the abl. Yeah I

Speaker 11498.36s - 1534.26s

thought we were playing fast. I thought we you know we broke Pucks ORG out pretty clean and then in the offensive zone we didn't let them know, get their second and third guy in there. We kind of turned into more man-on-man game and were able to make more plays. And, you know, I think that's kind of how you break these teams, especially with, you know, more agile decor like they have. It's, you know, just possessing the puck and using our body to shield it and things like that. And, you know, I thought, like, that second period was a solid period. And, yeah, for 40 minutes there, we were, we really liked where we were at. And obviously, the rest of the game was what it is. But, yeah, I thought, you know, if we can just clean up a couple things, we'll be good.

Speaker 01534.68s - 1536.1s

Thanks so much for the time. Really appreciate it.

Speaker 11536.16s - 1536.48s

Thank you.

Speaker 31538.72s - 1549.02s

Now that we've been doing this for four games, I have no idea what we're supposed to do when those interviews are running and we're in the shot there. So I'm like, do I look busy? Do I go like this? Like what do I do with my hands?

Speaker 01549.3s - 1550.54s

We'll figure it out for game five.

Speaker 31551.02s - 1553.44s

Yeah. And game six as well.

Speaker 01553.44s - 1562.08s

So great. I mean, I like this from James. Sarah PERSON can use the same magic of the jets that you use on the bombers to get them to win. Now, correct me if I'm wrong.

Speaker 31562.2s - 1566.44s

But since you left TSN, the bombers have lost the last two great cups.

Speaker 01567.02s - 1570.36s

We don't want to talk about it. We don't want to talk about it.

Speaker 31570.36s - 1578.52s

I'm just wondering. I'm just like, maybe you do have a special knack here. So if the Jets win the Stanley Cup this year, we're going to have to like put you in a case.

Speaker 01578.52s - 1583.44s

You're welcome. You're welcome. Okay. All right.

Speaker 31583.52s - 1591.92s

So great stuff from Mason Appleton PERSON. He does a great job of breaking down the game. One of my favorite guys to go to when you need some answers.

Speaker 21591.92s - 1618.52s

Where things have gone right or where things have gone wrong. So he's so good at breaking down the game. Kyle Conner PERSON's another excellent guy to go to in that situation. But we would be remiss. We don't talk about Colorado ORG here quickly. And we kind of talked about them a little bit through this show. We'll be getting the password to you here momentarily for the Connor Hillebuck PERSON, Jersey and the two secondary prizes, Mason Appleton and Dylan DeMello PERSON posters as well. But listen, I saw Asfan PERSON win a little bit earlier.

Speaker 31618.76s - 1638.22s

They had said that Nathan McKinnon and Nico Ranton PERSON have another level to get to, which is absolutely terrifying if that is true. But I think we've seen quite a bit from those two-star players and certainly Kail McCart PERSON in this one. But Colorado is, I think we talked about in the first show, you have 13 guys in that dress room with one, a Stanley Cup WORK_OF_ART.

Speaker 01638.44s - 1643s

So that plays, and Rick Bone PERSON has touched on that as well. Experience is so huge at this time of year.

Speaker 31643.68s - 1655.2s

Now that just just have to respond and realize that they have done such a great job following a loss and responding to when things that have looked, you know, not very good for them. And I think you can live off that as

Speaker 01655.2s - 1700.38s

well heading into game number four. Yep. And look from an avalanche perspective, they, as I mentioned earlier, they have elevated their game. They are getting contributions throughout the lineup. Who had Zach Preezy having two goals already in this series and we're only three games in? You look at some of the players that they have had step up. It's been key for them. Ross Colton said yesterday, we didn't sit back on our heels.I think we kind of just took it to them. And I think it's true that they've been aggressive with it. They've been so aggressive not only in their speed and the style of game that they've played. They've certainly been aggressive on the puck with that forecheck as well with it and has been causing issues. But the Winnipeg Jets have had success against Colorado ORG. And I do not look at that last game in the regular season that was the 7-0.

Speaker 21700.58s - 1702.9s

Because to me, you throw that one completely out.

Speaker 01703.36s - 1723.26s

You know that that was not the Aves ORG best game. They didn't play well at that point in time. They didn't play well against the Dallas ORG stars. And that was something that Jared Bettner spoke about yesterday in his availability. But they have refound that game. The Jets ORG, we saw them down at the end of the regular season, obviously. We saw them win those eight straight games DATE.

Speaker 11723.68s - 1729.78s

We know how they can play. We've seen it throughout the season. When adversity has hit, they've been able to bounce back.

Speaker 01730.16s - 1732.1s

They just have to do it. They have to do it today.

Speaker 21732.76s - 1734.74s

I love the way I shrug as if it's just the easiest thing.

Speaker 31734.74s - 1735.96s

And you just have to do it.

Speaker 21737.1s - 1739.56s

That would be the best coach of speech if you go on in the dresser.

Speaker 31739.62s - 1740.28s

You just have to do it.

Speaker 01740.28s - 1741.66s

You just have to do it.

Speaker 31742.02s - 1743.22s

I don't know what else.

Speaker 01743.22s - 1743.92s

I'm not going to talk about it.

Speaker 31744.06s - 1745.14s

This is just what you have to do. I agree. No more video. No more talking about it. Just do it. You're like, it's all I have. Just do it. Yeah. I'm not going to talk about it anymore. This is just what you have to do.

Speaker 01745.86s - 1746.26s

I agree.

Speaker 31746.26s - 1747.98s

No more video.

Speaker 01748.28s - 1749.08s

No more talking about it.

Speaker 31749.14s - 1749.82s

Just do it.

Speaker 01749.86s - 1750.34s

Just do it.

Speaker 31750.66s - 1750.84s

Yeah.

Speaker 01751.26s - 1751.86s

It's the same thing.

Speaker 31751.98s - 1753.96s

Why can't you shoot more?

Speaker 01754.96s - 1784.52s

It's so easy. I just, I don't know. Kenny's water bottle, the biggest surprise to me has been Colorado ORG's Colton PRODUCT line. McKinnon has been dangerous, but the Colden PERSON line has been giving the Jets trouble.I absolutely agree with you on that one. I think that Lowry PERSON's line has done a really, when matched up against McKinnon PERSON's line, has done a really good job on it. But yeah, I just think that, again, the depth. So it's just up to the Jets ORG now to be able to match that. And we know that they have the skill to be able to do that. But enough.

Speaker 31784.84s - 1785.28s

Oh, sorry.

Speaker 01785.36s - 1786.92s

Yes. Go ahead. No, go. No, please go.

Speaker 31787.28s - 1804.86s

Thank you, NHL ORG. Thank you, Toronto, Maple Leafs ORG.

Speaker 31833.82s - 1841.88s

Who are down 3-1? Thank you, Carolina Hurricanes ORG. We were all watching the Carolina ORG, because of the Carolina ORG series

Speaker 01841.88s - 1849.72s

with Islanders ORG winning that that's what, in my understanding, that is what has pushed us to the 830, not the 730 start.

Speaker 31850.08s - 1855.58s

Oh, okay, sorry, I apologize. Let's go to, there's the game five. You put the promo up one more time, monster.

So know that Jets fans will bring it for game five, whether they are inside or outside at the street party. Okay.

Speaker 31882.08s - 1912.46s

Sandius PERSON's coffee didn't work the passcode. So I don't know. We'll have to figure that out. So there's the link one more time in there. We've talked about game five. Sarah PERSON,you did a wonderful job so early in the morning in Denver GPE. Now we hope the Jets follow up your efforts in game number four between them and the Colorado Avalanche ORG.
