Speaker 00s - 30.48s

Greg PERSON is usually a fan of water cooler talk, but it's draft season, and that's all anyone wants to talk about. The Athletic has loads of articles about this year's draft, but Greg PERSON doesn't have the athletic, so now he's filling up his water bottle in the bathroom sink, which, to remind you, is the sink people use after they use the bathroom. Get the athletic and get the info people use after they use the bathroom. Get the athletic and get the info you need to speak draft fluently.

Speaker 570.64s - 73.48s

Welcome to episode 284 of the Falcaholic Live WORK_OF_ART.

Speaker 473.56s - 97.58s

We are here for our final pre-draft show. It's draft Eve, and we've got, of course, Nonnyak PERSON is joining us along with our special guest. He's back. Eric Robinson at Eric underscore Eric, Eric underscore Robinson over at ESPN ORG. Eric PERSON, welcome back to the show. You were on the screen when I was introducing my usual plan is, you know, Adnan first, but you were like up on the screen. So I felt awkward introducing Adnan while you were like actively up on the screen. But I'm a guess.

Speaker 797.98s - 99.92s

Yeah, exactly. You know, you get the

Speaker 499.92s - 101.86s

shine. You know, Audon PERSON just came back too.

Speaker 7101.86s - 103.1s

Oh, I was doing this solo.

Speaker 8105.04s - 108.22s

He needs to shine. He needs the shine. I didn't just come back.

Speaker 7108.38s - 110s

I was on those patron shows.

Speaker 8110.2s - 110.8s

Like, you know.

Speaker 4111.4s - 111.64s

Yeah.

Speaker 8112.48s - 113.76s

No, it's all good.

Speaker 4114.64s - 116.36s

Adon PERSON's a dear friend.

Speaker 8117.44s - 118.84s

He's asleep at God for a moment.

Speaker 4119s - 121.06s

But, no, Eric PERSON, how you do it?

Speaker 8121.98s - 122.92s

I'm doing, man.

Speaker 4122.96s - 126.76s

We're 24 hours removed from the 2024 NFL ORG draft.

Speaker 8127.44s - 133.22s

Falcons drafting at 8th overall. Again, third year in a row. Let's hope. Well, I don't, you know what?

Speaker 6133.24s - 138.96s

At this point, I don't know. I don't know anything, but I'm freaking, especially at the font in those

Speaker 8138.96s - 143.28s

comments yesterday. He didn't realize it. It was so funny. Did you, I don't know if you guys saw

Speaker 6143.28s - 147.14s

that, but he thought it was only two straight years at the conference. And he was like, it's only two, right?

Speaker 4147.5s - 154.28s

People were like, it's three. So that's how little they care about that statistic. But, you know, I just thought that was funny. I can't believe it either.

Speaker 6155.08s - 158.82s

So, yeah, that left me in the clouds even more after listening to that.

Speaker 4159.08s - 166.12s

I'm like, yeah, I have no clue what they're going to do with me. No, he did a good job. One thing I think that is pretty clear is that they want to trade down.

Speaker 7166.54s - 168.78s

I think that was abundantly clear.

Speaker 6169.02s - 181.78s

And I'm also excited for that potential possibility here. So we're going to see if that materializes or not. But before we get to that, of course, want to introduce Adnan Nikich PERSON as well. He's at Say Which Way WORK_OF_ART. My co-host, Adon, how are we doing tonight?

Speaker 8182.5s - 196.64s

Doing well, you know, I'm just really astounded and pleased by the show's progress because, you know, we have the ESPN ORG talent here, here as our guest on draft Eve, like how far we've come.

Speaker 4196.98s - 198.06s

Oh, I'm just a guy.

Speaker 5198.62s - 199.52s

I'm just a guy.

Speaker 8200.24s - 201.18s

ESPN, Eric PERSON.

Speaker 4201.6s - 204.94s

A lot of a live jacket right now.

Speaker 8206.04s - 209.2s

I didn't even change clothes when I came overboard, man.

Speaker 6209.28s - 210.3s

That's just how it is.

Speaker 4210.52s - 213.76s

That's just completely coincidental that that's what you're.

Speaker 6213.76s - 214.7s

I'm just a guy.

Speaker 4214.9s - 216.72s

Just like the cafeteria worker.

Speaker 6216.82s - 217.74s

I'm just the guy, man.

Speaker 4217.94s - 227.08s

That's all it is. Yes. And folks, I'm aware that my camera's not working. I'm working on that. But you can still hear me.So that's all that matters. And you can see the other two guests. So that's all we really need here.

Speaker 8227.42s - 232.18s

But we're really sponsoring, like, El Gato PERSON, you know, the shout out. Give me a call.

Speaker 4232.5s - 237.12s

They need to send you a free camera for that. They do, right? Yeah, I mean, every once in a while,

Speaker 8237.12s - 242.96s

when it, like, loads into the show, it, like, starts, like, it'll do, like, where, like, only one

Speaker 4242.96s - 283.66s

third of the camera is like working and the other three like thirds are just like blacked out for no real reason and then it so yeah it's starting to come back but uh yeah that's not really relevant to today's episode in any way other than just it's kind of silly but otherwise the camera looks great so great job algado PERSON on that uh just uh you know some occasional software hiccups not notwithstanding a great product there. But, guys, we're going to dive in.Before we do, real quick, I want to bring you guys a word from our sponsor, Bet Online ORG, folks. But Online is your number one source for all your summer sports this season from MLB Golf, NBA and NHL ORG playoffs. Unfortunately, Hawks ORG no longer involved. They were in the play-in game.

Speaker 8285.78s - 298.36s

The play-in magic ran out, Audna. What not what happened yeah we were on the show last week and I was talking about how excited I was for the game that happened right after the show and then we got plastered by 25 yeah yeah yeah okay

Speaker 4298.36s - 305.16s

you know what get them next season yeah Yep, we ride. We ride.

Speaker 8307.62s - 307.74s

No, unfortunately, I can't bet on the Hawks ORG anymore.

Speaker 4309.06s - 309.58s

Probably good for your pocketbook.

Speaker 8310.26s - 310.48s

You can.

Speaker 4313.92s - 343.82s

I think there probably are still some NFL ORG draft props available if you're a true sicko. You can check that out. But no matter what you want to bet on, guys, you can get the latest stats, news, and scores available as you follow your favorite team's path to the playoffs. Or in the case of, you know, the Falcons ORG relevancy, hopefully the playoffs after that. But, you know, hopefully tomorrow will be a good step on that path. But guys, you can get the latest odds in lines, including the latest team matchups, playerprops and odds on just about every sport out there. So what are you waiting for? Head to that website, betonline.orgie today or use your mobile device to get in on the action, bet online where the game

Speaker 8343.82s - 345.1s

starts. All right. Not so, you're cut, you know, thanks for the money. But if you're, you're, you know, advice to get in on the action, bet online where the game starts. All right.

Speaker 4348.6s - 364.08s

You're cut, you know, thanks for the money. But if you're, if you place a bet on the NFL ORG draft, I think you should just be connected to the hotline. It just goes straight to the hotline. Like when you place the bet, it just instantly connects you. But, no, I, I've considered some NFL ORG draft props, you know, but yeah.

Speaker 6364.3s - 367.74s

I also, I also think you should consider calling a hotline afterwards.

Speaker 4368.08s - 368.76s

I think so, too.

Speaker 6368.84s - 370.44s

I don't feel good about it, you know.

Speaker 8370.44s - 371.76s

Put your money on the draft.

Speaker 6371.94s - 373.24s

Like, that's a different level.

Speaker 4373.24s - 376.02s

On the draft, it's like putting your money on preseason.

Speaker 8376.26s - 376.98s

Like, yeah, whatever.

Speaker 4378.42s - 381.2s

Yeah, I mean, it's sickle behavior for sure.

Speaker 8381.34s - 394.7s

But I'm not here to judge anyone, you know, if you guys want to bet on it. Go to bed online. They'll hook up. Social media, people are furious in the fourth quarter of an NFL ORG preseason game, just like, oh, you know, this player didn't get his over or whatever it is.

Speaker 6394.78s - 401.3s

I'm like, it's, it might be the most unpredictable sporting event that you can think of.

Speaker 8401.5s - 404.98s

Like, it's just, I can't fathom putting money on the draft.

Speaker 6405s - 405.76s

It's bold. It's bold, I can't fathom putting money on the draft.

Speaker 4406.54s - 407.04s

It's bold.

Speaker 6408.72s - 409.22s

It's bold, to say the least.

Speaker 4409.62s - 409.98s

Yes.

Speaker 6417.18s - 420.06s

So it's one of those things that I could, I think I could get into, like, first cornerback taken or, like, first edge rusher taken or something like that.

Speaker 4420.44s - 424.56s

Like, because I think picking, like, unless you're, you know, betting on the number one or

Speaker 6424.56s - 425.3s

number two picks

Speaker 4425.3s - 434.22s

because that other than that it's kind of a crap shoot but like first like edge rush or take it it's like okay maybe like that you could make that work a little less crazy like that's a little bit easier

Speaker 6434.22s - 438.52s

to predict but yeah predicting like draft slot and stuff like that that's just yeah like saying

Speaker 0438.52s - 443.68s

I'm betting neighbors is going yeah yeah yeah no that's just you probably get great odds on it you know

Speaker 6443.68s - 445.22s

but it's pretty much taking your money.

Speaker 4447.06s - 449.16s

So whatever that. Yeah, I know.

Speaker 8449.26s - 449.74s

That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 4450s - 451.5s

That's, that's how this works, you know.

Speaker 8451.54s - 452.14s

I just imagine.

Speaker 4452.24s - 455.8s

I just cashed that neighbor's ticket, you know, at 10 times my money.

Speaker 8455.96s - 457.22s

Then we're rolling, you know.

Speaker 4457.36s - 463.48s

And then if you're someone that does bet on the drop, you'll be, you know, only you'll be less in the hole than you wear a board.

Speaker 8463.64s - 464.1s

There you go.

Speaker 4464.9s - 471.44s

Imagine being that guy making that bet and then watching them trade for, trade down.

Speaker 6471.64s - 477.9s

Then you're like, oh, my God. Or just imagine them saying, hey, you know what, JJ McCarthy is the quarterback of the future. There you go.

Speaker 4477.9s - 482.24s

Yeah, I mean, whatever you need to do, yeah, whatever you need to do to make it work.

Speaker 6482.24s - 485.94s

But, guys, we got a live mock draft for you.

Speaker 4485.98s - 537.06s

We got Eric PERSON here to help us conduct this one. And I've got a simulation fired up for us. So let's check in. Okay, yes, everything appears to be working here. So just to clue everyone in, we are going to go through all seven rounds here. We will consider trade at pick eight, just because I think we all agree that the Falcons are probably going to go through all seven rounds here. We will consider trade at pick eight just because I thinkwe all agree that the Falcons are probably going to trade down. I mean, Fontenow PERSON made it abundantly clear that he wants to and that they're having a lot of conversations about it. So, I mean, and again, there's so many players that teams want, you know, I guess who was it? Was it Jeremiah PERSON today to tweet out? Like, everyone wants to move for offensive tackle and then like everyone's been talking about the third receiver. And that's notwithstanding that, you know, possibly the fourth quarterback falls for somereason. So like any of those situations and one of those situations will happen.

Speaker 6537.96s - 543.3s

Like someone's trying to trade up. I think it could be interesting that we don't see a defensive player going to top 10. Yeah.

Speaker 4543.7s - 545.18s

I can't remember the last time that happened.

Speaker 6545.84s - 546.24s

Yeah.

Speaker 0546.76s - 548.2s

Especially if the Falcon ORG is straight out.

Speaker 7548.56s - 548.8s

Yeah.

Speaker 0548.88s - 549.86s

And that's the possibility.

Speaker 6550.06s - 553.94s

And that will be, I think that would be a testament to how this draft is overall,

Speaker 4554.02s - 555s

to be quite honest with you.

Speaker 6557.18s - 558.18s

So let's get to it.

Speaker 4558.18s - 561.42s

Let me read you guys the first eight, the first seven picks here.

Speaker 6561.54s - 562.34s

Caleb Williams won.

Speaker 4562.72s - 571.42s

No surprises there, right? Drake made two. Jane Daniels three. So the, uh, the, uh, the Patriots ORG stick and pick there.

Speaker 5571.42s - 574.86s

I do think ultimately they will pick the quarterback because I don't think, I don't know

Speaker 6574.86s - 578.26s

that anyone's going to come with a better enough of an offer. I would just swap on you off.

Speaker 4578.7s - 607.26s

Yeah, it does seem like Daniels probably going to go too, but, um, and then pick four. The, the AI won't trade in this also, just so you guys know, I do think we're going to go too. But, and then pick four. The AI won't trade in this. Also, just so you guys know, I do think we're going to get, you know, probably someone either going up to four or five, probably the Vikings ORG. But for the purposes of this, there aren't any other trades. But so we get Marvin Harrison, Jr. at four, tackle Joe all at five to the Chargers ORG.And then the Giants ORG, you know, praising the simulation because no one can trade up in front of of them and take a quarterback. The Giants take J.J. McCarthy PERSON.

Speaker 6608.88s - 611.76s

So that's the fourth quarterback, yep. You put your money on neighbors, I'll tell you.

Speaker 4613.68s - 695.9s

And then with Joel PERSON off the board, the Titans take Malik neighbors at seven. So that leaves, of course, Romo Dunzei PERSON, as the third receiver left on the board, as well as Brock Bowers and Dijin PERSON, and then all of the edge rushers and all that stuff. So if the Falcons were trying to pick here at eight, you know, I imagine we'd be considering obviously Adunze PERSON is the best player available, but, you know, probably looking at the edge rushers, but, you know, obviously there's potential for teams to want to trade up. And the one that I think we all were talking about pre-show, in the interest of not, you know, taking up an enormous amount of time, is the one that I think we've seen connected a lot and potentially floated, which is the Raiders trading up from 13. And the reason I like the Raiders ORG to do this is because they have the ammunition thatthe Broncos and the Jets do not have, which is a second round pick in this draft. The other teams would all have to be trading future seconds or they'd have to be trading thirds plus, you know, other. And I think the Falcons would probably value that second more. But I'm curious what you guys think about that potential trade. So that would be the Falcons going back to 13 and picking up 13 and 44 from the Raiders ORG. Yeah, no, I'd be all about it.

Speaker 8696.02s - 771.78s

I'd be all for it. And also, I think the Falcons ORG are one of the teams that will benefit most from J.J. McCarthy's PERSON rapid ascension of the draft board since the, you know, college football season ended because, yeah, the quarterback tax, we've talked about it before. I think I mentioned it every single show this time of year. You know, four quarterbacks that go, you know, ahead of eight. And if J.J. McCarthy is there at eight, that's, that would be immense for a trade down because then you have thatbidding war. You have, you know, of course the Vikings, you do have the Raiders ORG. You have these teams that not only are looking to trade up, but they're looking to trade up for a quarterback, and that's more expensive, just, you know, by the fact that it's a quarterback. Yeah, I'd love to pocket an extra second round pick in this graph to move back five spots. Are you kidding me? Like look at these guys on the board. Like there are multiple players I would be thrilled with right now. It's not like, oh, you know, Liatu Lothu PERSON is the only player that you want. And then if youtrade back, you're not really going to, you're probably not going to get them. There's other good alternatives. So yeah, I would love that. And also, you know, Alkins PERSON are probably going to get them. There's other good alternatives. So, yeah, I would love that. And also, you know, Alkins PERSON are probably going to get hit with some tampering pretty soon. So loading up.

Speaker 4771.96s - 773.42s

A legend tampering.

Speaker 8773.96s - 800.16s

Loading up with some extra graphics is never a bad idea anyway, but especially for this team, I think maybe that cloud of the tampering allegations is maybe going to push them even a little bit to try to get some extra picks. Maybe not even this year, but maybe that's next season as well. But yeah, I would love a move back from 8 to 13 while getting an extra second home pick for sure.

Speaker 4800.8s - 807.68s

Yeah, I agree. And Eric PERSON, curious what you think about that potential move as well. Sure. Yeah, I agree. And Eric PERSON, curious what you think about that potential move as well.

Speaker 6819.08s - 841.5s

You know, to me, it's ideal to trade back with the Raiders and get that pick because they would end up, as you mentioned, they would end up getting 44, which would allow them to pick back to back in round two. The whole tampering thing, we'll see the alleged tampering we'll see what comes from that but I think there are rumblings that if there is some type of punishment coming down it won't happen until next year which isa blessing in disguise to be quite honest with you so that makes me want to trade down even more

Speaker 5841.5s - 852.48s

because now I can I can trade down and accumulate more picks and still keep my my two-thirds that I have already. So I do think they'll have

Speaker 6852.48s - 855.6s

their suitors at eight. The Raiders ORG are not just the only one, as you mentioned,

Speaker 0855.76s - 859.2s

the Broncos ORG. I think the Broncos could be a team that could be desperate enough to

Speaker 5859.2s - 864.58s

trade up for a quarterback if the right one is available. They have nothing, as you guys

Speaker 6864.58s - 894.78s

witness, have you guys seen over the last few weeks. They have nothing, as you guys witness, have you guys seen over the last few weeks, they have nothing to build around offensively outside of courtroom and a sudden. So they're going to have to take a quarterback whether they want to or not. So I think it is possible that the Bears ORG, I mean, I'm sorry, not the Bears, but the Falcons could be trading out of that A-Spot. The Jets are a team at 10 to kind of sort of keep an eye on as well.Don't sleep on the Colts ORG. I think the coach is another team that could definitely pull the

Speaker 0894.78s - 900.9s

trigger if a Brock Bowers PERSON is available and they want to go get them. But that's probably no

Speaker 4900.9s - 911.5s

further than I would want to fall. I don't think I want to go. That's 15. Yeah, exactly. That one's just a little bit riskier because the Saints ORG are one of those teams that could take an edge rusher.

Speaker 7911.5s - 916.34s

I mean, I don't think it's likely now, especially now with the news that James Hurst PERSON is retiring to.

Speaker 6916.68s - 918.88s

So their offensive line needs are just extreme.

Speaker 0919.34s - 921.74s

But they're one of the teams for sure.

Speaker 7922.24s - 925.76s

And like the other than that, though, you mentioned like the bears maybe are a team for edge.

Speaker 0925.76s - 935.14s

And maybe the Broncos if they get forced to pick it at 12 and can't get their quarterback. But, you know, if you go down to 13, you're not really afraid that you're going to miss out on the edge rushers.

Speaker 5935.26s - 940.74s

At worst, you're going to have the third one. And maybe they just prefer Byron Murphy there.

Speaker 7940.74s - 962.1s

I think the interest is legitimate, obviously. And real quick, before we, and the Colts are a team that is interested in trading up with the Falcons ORG in this simulation as well. You know, I think that compensation would be a second round pick and probably something like a fourth rounder with the Falcons like sending like one of their six rounders probably back to the Colts ORG. So they get a second and a fourth maybe for that.

Speaker 6962.4s - 965.64s

But that's that second will be where? That's in the 50s, right?

Speaker 4966s - 972.04s

It's 46. So it's only a couple picks down. So it's pretty similar to the, it's pretty similar to.

Speaker 6973.08s - 983.36s

You want to trade down seven spots just to only trade, just to only be drafting a couple spots down in the second round. Like is it worse?

Speaker 4983.44s - 985.14s

And you get like a fourth out of it too.

Speaker 6985.4s - 988.58s

Then you get an added fourth. So that will put us at two fours. Yeah.

Speaker 4989.16s - 989.86s

So two seconds,

Speaker 6990.04s - 991.16s

thirds, two fourths.

Speaker 4991.36s - 997.52s

Yeah. And then you probably send like one 97 back. But, you know, you know me. I just like to get rid of those late picks. Yeah.

Speaker 8998.9s - 999.76s

Take it, please.

Speaker 41000.56s - 1003.06s

It'll save us some time on that Saturday show.

Speaker 81003.14s - 1003.68s

Yes, it will.

Speaker 41004.44s - 1008.14s

We'll be out of here earlier, thinking through every aspect of this.

Speaker 81008.36s - 1009.36s

So what do you guys think?

Speaker 41010.24s - 1012.62s

I think the Raiders ORG when we do, because I think that's the most likely.

Speaker 61012.7s - 1015s

I agree with you that the Colts ORG is definitely one to watch.

Speaker 81017s - 1018.88s

And I think the Raiders ORG is simpler.

Speaker 61019.3s - 1022.32s

You know, we don't have to do as many, like, machinations with deciding the compensation.

Speaker 81022.94s - 1023.52s

You know, I think that.

Speaker 61024.2s - 1026.46s

Did you see if you can get a fourth from them?

Speaker 41026.52s - 1030.3s

Because I think that fourth is 112, which is still fairly early in the fourth.

Speaker 61030.88s - 1031.4s

The Raiders ORG.

Speaker 41031.7s - 1088.54s

I mean, they won't do the fourth. I've already... I've done this before. They'll do the second, but they won't do the fourth. Because the second is already actually kind of high on the trade value chart. Like, it's already overpaying, according to the trade value chart. And we know, like, that the chart's not gospel. You know, it's not. It's more, I think it's more accurate the further down the draft order you go. But, so yeah, probably just the second is all we would get to move down to 13. But yeah, I think we'll go ahead and do that and just see what we're left looking at at 13, see if any sort of curveballs get in. And yes, I'm going to force this trade to go through guys.I'm not having any shenanigans with the Raiders ORG getting pissy. So I have the power. Okay, we're doing this. But all right. So the Falcons do officially trade down in this simulation from 8 to 13. And while we let that load up,I think this,

Speaker 61088.64s - 1091.98s

I think this would be strictly for a quarterback for the Raiders ORG.

Speaker 41092.28s - 1096.42s

I think so, in Pennix PERSON. They can't go into the season with Aiden O'Connell PERSON. No,

Speaker 61096.62s - 1098.16s

they want Pennix PERSON, apparently.

Speaker 71098.9s - 1100s

Yeah, it sounds like they want Pennicks PERSON.

Speaker 41100.08s - 1106.86s

They and the Broncos ORG, that interdivisional rivalry for Pennix PERSON, but like the Broncos ORG are in a bad spot because they can't bid a second. The Broncos, that interdivisional rivalry for Penix. But, like, the Broncos are in a bad spot because they can't bid a second.

Speaker 51107.7s - 1109.84s

The Broncos ORG are terrible.

Speaker 61110.4s - 1110.76s

It's right.

Speaker 51111.22s - 1112.38s

So, like, they can't bid a second.

Speaker 61112.38s - 1114.34s

They're also 30-something million this year.

Speaker 41114.6s - 1115.16s

Jeez.

Speaker 81116.24s - 1117.16s

You have no money.

Speaker 61117.36s - 1118.68s

You don't have any premium picks.

Speaker 81120.18s - 1126.46s

Thank God the Falcons ORG address quarterback in the agency because I would be sweating right now.

Speaker 61126.6s - 1126.68s

Oh,

Speaker 51126.86s - 1129.02s

I don't want Pennix at eight.

Speaker 61129.6s - 1131.88s

I'm damn sure don't want Bo Nix at eight.

Speaker 51133.2s - 1133.64s

Yeah,

Speaker 81133.88s - 1136.4s

that would be scary to be having that conversation tonight

Speaker 41136.4s - 1137.54s

instead of talking about

Speaker 81137.54s - 1166.18s

all the things we're going to potentially get here. But yes, all right. So before I get to pick 13 real quick, George Costanza had a take on eight with the $2. Thank you, George. And also shout out to George for donating the $450 NFL shop gift cards that were going to be given away during tomorrow's, well, during the draft party, one each day. And then we'll have a fourth card just for the patrons and channel members. So if you want a really good shot at a, I think there's like a combined 50 patrons and channel members.

Speaker 41166.26s - 1199.22s

So if you want an excellent chance at getting an NFL shop gift card, like a 1 in 50, you could sign up for the Patreon or the channel members before that day. And then that one card is just for those guys. But the other three, that's just open to anyone that joins the draft party. And there's like a couple of little things you have to do to make sure we can get you the card. But one of them is subscribing to the channel on YouTube ORG.So if you haven't done that already, you can check that box right now. But yeah, shout out to George. And George says he's now officially changing his prediction to Quinion Mitchell at 8. Okay, he's coming around to my Toledo brethren, Quinnia Mitchell PERSON.

Speaker 71199.6s - 1205.48s

He says he would like them to take J.C. Latham or Talisi, Fulay PERSON. Joe Alt has been like George's guy this year, Eric PERSON. Joe is my guy too, George. He's not going to be there, unfortunately. He's not going to take J.C. Latham or Talisi Fulah. Joe Alt has been like George's guy this year, Eric.

Speaker 81205.6s - 1208.7s

Joe, is my guy too, George, but he's not going to be there, unfortunately.

Speaker 41208.7s - 1217.08s

He's not going to make it. Yeah. But he's saying because we invested $100 million a quarterback, you should invest in protecting him. I think the D will be fine this season because Ritter

Speaker 71217.08s - 1233.1s

and Arthur Smith PERSON sucked the life out of the defense. I mean, I do think there's some, you know, potential like the offense just being better will help the defense. We know that can happen. But yeah, I don't, I wouldn't mind Quinnia Mitchell PERSON. I think he's some, you know, potential, like the offense just being better will help the defense. We know that can happen. But, yeah, I don't, I wouldn't mind Quinnia Mitchell PERSON. I think he's absolutely in play along with Byron Murphy as kind of like those dark horse guys for sure.

Speaker 41233.76s - 1295.96s

But yeah. So here, the best available guys, according to PFS board, we got Cooper DeGine PERSON here. We actually do see two corners and Dallas Turner go. But like, and then the interestingly enough, the Jets took Dallas Turner, which does seem extremely Jets because they just randomly took Will McDonald last year also when they absolutely didn't need him. And he was like the sixth edge rusher in their rotation. It was pretty silly. But at any rate, the Falcons ORG have a lot of choices here. Cooper Dijeen PERSON, I don't, I think this is a little early for him, though I do. He is my corner three, so I mean, I think this is fair to where he's being considered. But La Jatulatu PERSON is on the board here. Byron Murphy and J. Zan Newton PERSON as well.We also got most of the tackles, J.C. Latham, Tbilisi Fuwaga, Troy Fataanu, Olufushanu PERSON, all those type of guys. But, and of course, Jared Verse PERSON also. But I think I know we're probably going to go here, at least what Aonan PERSON and I typically have done. But Eric PERSON, I'm curious of these guys that are available, what's your sort of favorite from

Speaker 61295.96s - 1371.42s

the other names? Man, I'm a huge Jared Verse PERSON fan. I think he just has what it takes as an edge rusher to get it done from day one. I think he's the most NFL ORG ready edge rusher in the draft. 6-4, close to 260. Very good get-off for someone his size, running 1.6 in a 10-yard split at the NFL Combine. You know, led FSU and Sachs the last two years after transferring, has been productive his entire collegiate career. It wasn't as if he was just a rando at Albany ORG. Like, no, he was all conference player there too. So I love Verse PRODUCT. I think Verses PERSON the best pass rusher in the draft, in my opinion. But right now, speaking of putting money on bets, I think Latu PERSON's the guy. And I think it all goes back to the whole Jimmy Lake PERSON thing, the Jimmy Lake relationship. Jimmy Lake recruited him and coast him during this time at Washington ORG. He had a medical retired because of his injuries that could have stopped his career as a whole. But I think that tie there is, will make Latsua Fountain PERSON when it's all said and done.Yeah,

Speaker 41371.48s - 1377.12s

I know there's some fans that are like, oh, well, you know, Jimmy Lake PERSON personally medically retired him. So he will want nothing to do.No, Jimmy PERSON,

Speaker 71377.18s - 1384.8s

I guarantee you Jimmy Lake did not want Lottie PERSON would be medically retired at all. Like he was probably furious when that was the diagnosis. The doctors.

Speaker 51384.8s - 1385.26s

Yes, it's the doctor's fault. We're when that was the diagnosis. Medical retired.

Speaker 71385.26s - 1389.74s

It's the doctor's fault. We're going to blame the doctors. But I do agree.

Speaker 51389.94s - 1427.24s

I think, yeah, those medicine men. You can't trust it. It was probably Saints ORG Voodoo, you know, for being honest. But no, it honestly, the, Laotu, Latu, it seems like that's what people have coalesced around. And that's kind of the way that I think I've felt it's been going probably, like almost, almost since, since his athletic testing at the combine, I feel like things changed. Because I feel like Turner was kind of the consensus. He's going to go top because he's the best athlete and he has the highest ceiling. And in a lot of ways, Turner does check the boxes that the Falcons ORG have typically looked for because of the length, you know, that he's got the great athletic testing.

Speaker 41427.76s - 1430.5s

But I think, you know, go ahead, go ahead.

Speaker 61430.88s - 1476.08s

Let me ask you guys. Let me ask you guys a question real quick. So when it comes to Latu and Pennix PERSON as well, they're in the same boat because they have these medical issues that are arguably their biggest deficiency, their biggest red flag. But you can actually make a case that ever since their medical wolves, they played so much better. Like, their best football came after, you know, those major medical injuries. You know, Pennix had those ACL injuries, transferred to Washington ORG, had the two best years of his career. LATU had the medically retired in 2021, came back in the last two years, 32 tackles for lost, 23 and a half sacks. So I'm wondering, like, okay, when it comes to these, how much of a hindrance is it really?

Speaker 41476.44s - 1477.92s

I don't think it's a hindrance, yeah.

Speaker 61478.62s - 1479.54s

No, exactly.

Speaker 41480.3s - 1481.98s

I mean, we've had like, I mean,

Speaker 81482.04s - 1497.94s

medical advances are insane now versus two, three decades ago when an ACL ends your career. But we do also have to consider that, you know, I feel like normally players are better, like, as they are later along in their college careers as well.

Speaker 41498.3s - 1504.76s

So we do have to consider that versus, you know, the injury stuff. With the injury stuff of these two guys specifically, I have no idea.

Speaker 81504.88s - 1529.34s

Like the teams have the medicals. We don't. We can just go off of, you know, the injury stuff. With the injury stuff with these two guys specifically, I have no idea. Like the teams have the medicals. We don't. We can just go off of, you know, we can just assume that they're all going to be all clear. And hopefully they are. Hopefully they both, you know, don't have those issues moving forward. But for me, I feel like if the team drafts either of those guys,I'm just going to assume the medicals are completely okay because there's no way a GM is...

Speaker 01529.34s - 1561.02s

Philip has just lost the respect of the Youth League ORG football team he coaches. He was asked what New England should do in the draft, and his answer was objectively terrible. The athletic just wrote a great article about this, but Philip doesn't have the athletic or the respect of a boisterous group of 11-year-oldswho once looked up to him. Learn from Philip's error. Get the athletic and get the info you need to speak draft fluently. Without the ones like you

Speaker 21561.02s - 1587.72s

who work tirelessly to keep things running, everything would suddenly stop. Hospitals, factories, schools, and power plants, they all depend on you. No matter the weather, emergency, or time of day, you're the ones who get it done. Ed Granger PERSON, we're here for you with professional grade industrial supplies. Count on real-time product availability and fast delivery.Call, clickgranger.com or just stop by. Granger PERSON, for the ones who get it done.

Speaker 81589.3s - 1602.14s

I don't think a GM ORG is going to put, you know, sort of his job on the line for a guy who could medically just be, you know, pulled away later on. Not in the top of the police. Yeah.

Speaker 41602.4s - 1696.24s

Yeah, exactly. And the thing with Latu PERSON that I have heard is that most teams have him on their board and they're not concerned about the neck fusion. There are some teams that are concerned. It's not the majority, but there are some. So take from that what you will.I don't know which camp the Falcons ORG are in. So I'm just going off of what I feel like makes sense. And I think Latu PERSON makes so much sense for them. Um, and like, you know, all that stuff considered, you know, I do think that Latu PERSON is, if he's on their board, I think he's the one that they're going to go after. I think that just makes the most sense to me. Um, but I will say like Byron Murphy, I think if they have concerns about Latu and there are the injury concerns that he's like flagged on their board, I think it could be Byron Murphy.Like I do think, you know, after Dallas, like I like Jared versus too, Eric PERSON. I just think that I wonder if they, they think he, his ability to stand up, you know, and that sort of thing, which they're going to want the edges to do a lot in the scheme. Maybe that matters. Maybe that doesn't. I just sort of feel like they might care more about that. But you know me. I was like big Jaredverse guy last year. I was like all about him. I wish he'd come out then. But I don't know if they view him as an ideal scheme fit. And that's the only thing that gives me pause on verse. It's not the talent or anything else about him. But I will say that I do think the Byron Murphy stuff is not like a complete smokes screen. I just, I think it depends on whether or not they have flagged Laotu Latu PERSON or not. And if they have, it wouldn't shock me if they went after Byron Murphy. And I know Joe Schmo PERSON, I know you had a big comment that you left.

Speaker 01696.5s - 1738.62s

I haven't had a chance to respond to it because I've been so swamp. But, you know, that this scheme and Lake and Morris and these guys have typically prioritized that interior pass rush while sort of just sort of filling in specialists at the edge. And I think there's definitely some evidence for that. You know, I don't know for sure that that's what they want to do here in Atlanta, but I think there's some evidence that they've done that before. So we'll see. And Stephen B., I don't think that the fact that Latu Latu is from thewest coast has any bearing on whether the falcons drafter or not. I'm sorry. I don't, I don't think that's part of the eval. Uh, I think, I think he can survive, uh, in Atlanta. I think he'll be okay,

Speaker 61738.62s - 1743.18s

especially when he's got his former college coach here. So most of the coaching staff is from the

Speaker 41743.18s - 1745.82s

west coast. Yeah. I think, Rahim looks all right to me.

Speaker 61746.12s - 1749.72s

He looked fine when he was here a couple years ago. He's still. They'll survive.

Speaker 41750.32s - 1753.4s

They'll survive. A lot of choose to pick.

Speaker 61753.52s - 1769.12s

I like him, man. Real refined. More athletic than a lot of people give him credit for. And you throw on the tape, he can rush in variety of ways from both left and right in, drops back in coverage every so often. Had a couple, had two picks this past year.

Speaker 71769.28s - 1770.52s

One of them was a pick six.

Speaker 61772.34s - 1775.84s

The kid is a freak of nature, man. All the technician, too.

Speaker 81776.22s - 1777.46s

Yeah, that's what I love.

Speaker 61777.96s - 1785.9s

As the counter moves, it's not a big situation where it's, all right, you're just going to speed rush. And then after lineman adjust, you're just screwed.

Speaker 81786.18s - 1805.86s

Like, it's, yeah, I feel like him and Arnold Abakady PERSON, who hopefully will, you know, have more of an opportunity this year than he did last. He still had the team in Sacks last year, I think. I feel like what we could, you know, actually start forming a real pass rush for the first time in a decade. Yeah.

Speaker 61806.48s - 1807.06s

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 71807.16s - 1808.96s

I like that tandem a lot.

Speaker 61809.36s - 1817.56s

I know Turner PERSON's been the guy. Turner's more of a speed rusher at this point, and he's more of a project of the three at this point as well.

Speaker 01817.94s - 1821.58s

The one thing that I don't love about him, I mean, he has length.

Speaker 61822.02s - 1828.18s

He's only six, he measures that at six, two, and it's kind of like an awkward frame. He's like Arnold Ebikati PERSON. He has a very similar

Speaker 41828.18s - 1831.8s

bill to Ebikati PERSON. For the most part, yeah. He's just quicker.

Speaker 61832.34s - 1839.14s

Yeah, he is. He's better athlete. But Latu who fills it out at 6.4, 260. So he's every bit

Speaker 41839.14s - 1844.3s

of it. So he was 269 at his pro day when he ran those crazy three cone and shuttle too.

Speaker 61844.38s - 1846.82s

And he looked like the goddamn receiver out there.

Speaker 41846.86s - 1847.06s

Yeah.

Speaker 61847.5s - 1847.66s

Yeah.

Speaker 41847.78s - 1849.36s

So Lott PERSON's a better.

Speaker 61849.44s - 1851.04s

Like he's not as explosive as Dallister PERSON.

Speaker 41851.18s - 1854.56s

I don't think there's any defensive line prospect period in this class.

Speaker 71854.6s - 1855.38s

It's explosive as Dutern PERSON.

Speaker 61855.5s - 1856.7s

No one's arguing that.

Speaker 71856.9s - 1859.08s

But I think Latu PERSON, the whole player is better.

Speaker 01859.62s - 1860.78s

And that's at this stage.

Speaker 71861.06s - 1863.64s

Turner PERSON could be the best of the best at some point in his career.

Speaker 01863.74s - 1866.88s

That would not shock me. But yeah, I think we're going to go with Latu PERSON here.

Speaker 41867.5s - 1874.4s

And, yeah, people, like, I've had so many people say, like, oh, Latu PERSON's just another undersized edge rusher. He's the biggest one. He's, like, his biggest Jared Mears PERSON.

Speaker 61874.96s - 1882.96s

260. Yeah. He's not undersized at all. I don't know where that's coming from. Yeah, but I don't, yeah, I don't get it.

Speaker 41882.96s - 1884.6s

He doesn't, yeah.

Speaker 81884.94s - 1885.9s

Because he moves so well, they think he's undersized get it he doesn't yeah he's because he moves so

Speaker 61885.9s - 1890.88s

well they think he's undersized that's like saying that he's just like uh attacked mckinley because

Speaker 81890.88s - 1897.78s

they both went to ucela oh yeah i've seen plenty of that already jesus when last time we drafted

Speaker 61897.78s - 1904.56s

from ucLA like come on man who gets a shit i'm sorry it's the same argument of oh never

Speaker 81904.56s - 1907.08s

dropped in oh State ORG like quarterback.

Speaker 61907.42s - 1909.68s

Oh, yeah, out on CJ Stroud last year.

Speaker 81910.26s - 1911.18s

Yeah, yeah, I agree.

Speaker 61911.78s - 1913.38s

All right, so the Falcons ORG are going to be up here.

Speaker 41913.48s - 1917.5s

Back to back picks, 43 and 44 after that trade down with Vegas ORG, which is really cool.

Speaker 81918s - 1918.92s

We always love that.

Speaker 41919.74s - 1924.96s

And yeah, we've got some interesting guys here to consider, obviously, top of the board, Peyton Wilson PERSON.

Speaker 81928.18s - 1936.26s

I don't think they're going to go after Peyton Wilson because of the medicals. I know there's some people that think, again, similar to Latu PERSON. I, I think I've heard more people worried about Wilson PERSON's medicals. Really? Yeah.

Speaker 41936.74s - 1981.24s

But because like with Latu PERSON, and I, this is what I forgot to say about Latu. With Latu PERSON, it's like, it's either going to affect him or not. Like, it's like, it's either going to cause him to retire eventually or it probably won't have any effect at all. Like, it's, like, the neck fusion holds or it doesn't. And if it doesn't, he's probably going to have to retire. But if it does, then it's not going to have any repercussions whatsoever. Whereas Wilson PERSON, I think there's more concern about, you know, is it going to be a recurring thing with him? I mean, some of his stuff is bad luck. Some of this always is. But I don't think they're going to prioritize linebacker this high, no matter what.I mean, considering they have three linebackers at this point. But I do know there's people concerned about Peyton Wilson's PERSON medicals. Tyler Nubin PERSON's here. Love it. Always love it. We have back-to-back picks. So we're going to be picking two guys here.

Speaker 81982.28s - 1982.76s

Yeah.

Speaker 41983.12s - 2015.78s

Michael Pennix Jr. PERSON is here. But I really think there's like a zero percent chance he actually makes it the second round based on everything we've heard. So I'm probably not going to consider him, even though I think the Falcons ORG would definitely consider him here. And on Michael Pennings, I know people are worried the Falcons are going to take him at eight. Don't worry about that. Now, if they trade down and do a bunch of stuff and they get into the late teens or whatever, then it becomes more realistic. I think the interest from the Falcons in Pennix PERSON is legit, but I think all this like buzz that they like want to take him early is more of a smokescreen. Like I think they actually

Speaker 02015.78s - 2020.1s

do like him, and I think they are interested in him. And they also recognize that he's more of like a

Speaker 72020.1s - 2030.18s

late first round type of quarterback, but that they're really like honestly, they're doing him a favor by kind of hyping him up and trying to get him drafted earlier, trying to get teams to

Speaker 02030.18s - 2033.9s

bite on maybe trading up to eight for him and that sort of thing and making it seem like,

Speaker 42033.96s - 2041.04s

oh, we're interested in a quarterback here, so you're going to have to increase your price. You know, will that pan out? I don't know, but I wouldn't worry too much about this being the

Speaker 82041.04s - 2061.84s

picket eight. Also, I know age isn't always, age is sometimes overblown, but you are committed to Kirk Cousins for at least two years. Like that, that's no if, sayings or buts about it, given the guarantees of that contract, the structure of it. Penix PERSON is already, what, 24. So he's going to have to sit for two years, in theory, if Alkins PERSON take him,

Speaker 02062.22s - 2084.5s

he's going to have to sit for two years, takes away two years of his rookie contract, and, you know, then all of a sudden he'll be 26, which, you know, is the pure prime of some quarterbacks likely never having taken a real snap outside of garbage time. So, yeah, it just, it just doesn't make sense. Like,

Speaker 82084.5s - 2086.08s

if he was 21, 22, maybe.

Speaker 42086.66s - 2093.56s

But I do feel like age does play a part here in this specific scenario. Yeah. All right.

Speaker 82093.56s - 2098.9s

Also, I don't think he's like good enough to go top 10. I'm sorry. It's okay.

Speaker 42099.28s - 2119.62s

This is a space to share your draft takes. This is the final draft show. So, you know, either our takes will age poorly in the next 24 hours or we'll be completely proven right. And then everyone will forget about it in a couple of days. So it'll be fine. But, okay, let's see what we got here. So we got Tyler Newman at safety. Eric PERSON, how do you feel about Newman? I'm like a huge Newbin PERSON fan, but I don't know if you have any thoughts on how big a

Speaker 62119.62s - 2138.92s

need safety is for this Falcons team. Oh, man. You know what, Newman PERSON? Newman has been a playmaker from Minnesota the last couple of years. He's definitely not in the Antoine Winfield PERSON mode in terms of in that undersized safety. But he's, he kind of sort of fits the frame of a strong, of a modern day strong safety.

Speaker 42138.92s - 2140s

He's big. Yeah.

Speaker 62140.26s - 2160.48s

He's big than people realize. Yeah, he's a big cat. But again, he was, he was really, his very instinctual, a little bit more instinctual than you would think when you put his film on.And every so often, when Minnesota ORG needed a play on defense, Tyler Nuba PERSON was there to make one. I think he's perfect for Buffalo ORG,

Speaker 72161.26s - 2170.84s

for what they want. And the holes that they have at safety. I think he's perfect. If he falls into their lap, they should pull the trigger immediately.

Speaker 42171.14s - 2174.18s

I just feel like they need a wide receiver so bad. They just like can't.

Speaker 72174.84s - 2175.26s

Yeah.

Speaker 62175.88s - 2177.14s

That's the only thing they get.

Speaker 72177.48s - 2179.56s

You're probably going to take one in the first round.

Speaker 62179.56s - 2181.26s

It's just a dependent on where.

Speaker 72181.44s - 2185s

But I think in round two sitting there at 60 if he's still available at 60

Speaker 62185s - 2187.72s

or even in a small trade-up I think they should go get them.

Speaker 72188.82s - 2193.84s

Yeah, no, I love new, but I think I think getting like a cheap rookie safety in here to pair

Speaker 42193.84s - 2204.42s

with with Jesse Bates so you can have a good safety duo locked up for one expensive contract and one cheap contract for a long time. It makes a lot of sense. But we got two picks back to back. So safety could be one.

Speaker 52204.9s - 2206.32s

Both right out of the saints too. Yeah, exactly. It's really just of sense. But we got two picks back to back. So safety could be one. Both are the same to the saints, too.

Speaker 62206.72s - 2210.04s

Yeah, exactly. It really just works out so well in so many ways.

Speaker 42210.04s - 2212.32s

There's no, there's no quarterback on the board.

Speaker 62212.98s - 2217.78s

Pennix is, but I think we all kind of agreed that I think, I'm sure, I don't know if Nix PERSON is here too.

Speaker 42217.84s - 2222.9s

That would be hilarious if Nix PERSON was gone. Yeah, Nix is gone and Pennix PERSON is still here. That's pretty funny.

Speaker 62223.02s - 2226.64s

So we're in agreement that Pennix PERSON is probably not here.

Speaker 42226.86s - 2229.2s

Yeah, yeah. So I was not going to entertain that.

Speaker 62229.38s - 2234.32s

But if he is here, I think they would definitely take it, honestly. What receivers?

Speaker 42234.94s - 2239.32s

Any receivers are here? So we got Roman Wilson, rookie Pierce PERSON, all.

Speaker 82240.24s - 2242.92s

I don't know if they want to, like, go with another.

Speaker 42243.52s - 2246.04s

Is Ladd available? No, Ladd's gone. Oh, if Log is available, we take them with another. Is Ladd available? No, Lad's gone.

Speaker 82246.62s - 2248.7s

Oh, if Log is available, we take them like that.

Speaker 42248.78s - 2310.18s

Yeah, we got to reach that dog quota. You understand, Eric PERSON. We got to do that somehow. But, yeah, Roman Wilson, Ricky Pearsall, and Jalen Polk are the three that are probably in consideration here at receiver. I typically wait to the third roundjust because I like, I love Malik Washington PERSON. I have a Malik Washington PERSON agenda that I must fulfill, but you guys can override that if you want. But we got Braden Fisk PERSON also here. Love Braden Fiske. He was absolutely unstoppable at the Senior Bowl EVENT.A lot of corners. Quite actually a couple of corners here that we don't always see. Ennis Rake Straw is actually still available. And T.J. Tampa PERSON, too, who I really like. So those guys could definitely be in consideration. Let's see, what else we got?Chris Jenkins PERSON on the interior, if they're looking for that, knows Jaden Hicks PERSON at safety is also here. But I probably wouldn't take him over Nubin. But, and then if they wanted to, like nose jaden hicks at safety is also here but i i probably wouldn't take him over nubin but um and then if they wanted to like double dip on edge like adisa isa

Speaker 62310.18s - 2317.86s

is still here marshawn neland PERSON that sort of thing but what interior alarm is interior interiors

Speaker 42317.86s - 2326.44s

uh chris jenkins let's see who else brad and chris jen, and those are probably only two I consider in the second,

Speaker 72326.66s - 2328.72s

you know, Doros and Oro, Roroa LOC, or further down.

Speaker 62328.72s - 2331.98s

I like, honestly, I like Jenkins PERSON here.

Speaker 72332.22s - 2334.18s

I like him a lot higher than most.

Speaker 52337.02s - 2340.1s

I think he's someone that can truly come in

Speaker 62340.1s - 2354s

and learn the ropes and soak in everything behind Grady Jared and David Anynamata PERSON. He was a team captain over at Michigan ORG, so he was a locker room guy. And his dad is a former NFL ORG player as well.

Speaker 02354.16s - 2355.72s

So he has some lineage there.

Speaker 62356.62s - 2383.58s

I think, you know, Falcons fans are a little familiar with the name Chris Jenkins PERSON to a certain extent. But I kind of like him here. And I think they want to add on the interior because while Grady and Anyamata PERSON are a very, very good pairing, they're up in age. They're both in their 30s.So it's time to start thinking about getting the next in line there. And I think I would like Chris Jenkins PERSON here. I don't know how you guys feel is about that.

Speaker 42384s - 2401.52s

I certainly don't mind it. I think I go more for likeens here. I don't know how you guys feel is not that. I certainly don't mind it. I think I go more for like Fisk PERSON as like the pass rusher, but like I mean, I think Chris Jenkins PERSON is definitely in consideration in this range. This is about where I expect him to go.Yeah. To me, I just have, it's tough because like I have a hard time passing on corner. Well, when we had, when we only

Speaker 82401.52s - 2403.64s

had one pick in the second round.

Speaker 42403.64s - 2406.1s

You need at least one secondary player.

Speaker 82407.44s - 2416.24s

My personal preference is to lean actually even toward two here with both T.J. Tampa and Nubin PERSON.

Speaker 42416.5s - 2418.36s

Oh, yeah, we can double up in the secondary.

Speaker 82418.82s - 2421.52s

Yeah, we could do like Nubin and Tampa or Nubin and Rake Straw PERSON.

Speaker 42421.98s - 2427.06s

Like, I definitely don't mind going Interior ORG defensive linemen for sure, but

Speaker 82427.06s - 2441.06s

yeah, I mean, the secondary needs to be addressed. Like, it absolutely and even if we don't address it with both picks, if we address it with just one, we'll probably need to address it later on down the linein this draft as well.

Speaker 42442.36s - 2458.94s

Yeah, I mean, I'm open to whatever, you know, I think at this point, like, Noobin's the highest rated secondary player for me left, so I'd probably lean Nubin PERSON, and then we can decide if we would rather go for like interior D-line or corner with the second pick. I don't know how you guys feel about that, but.

Speaker 62460.56s - 2466.64s

Um, I would have been, I, I would have been fine with going, at least going corner here around two.

Speaker 42466.84s - 2470.9s

I think safety is something that we can actually wait on and be quite honest.

Speaker 02471.08s - 2473.68s

If you wanted to pull the trigger on Nubin PERSON, that's fine.

Speaker 52474.18s - 2475.3s

I'm cool with it.

Speaker 02476.08s - 2479.06s

But I do think the fact that you drafting 43 and 44,

Speaker 62479.56s - 2481.88s

you can get a pair of starters right here on defense.

Speaker 42482.2s - 2483.24s

Yeah, that would be nice.

Speaker 62483.24s - 2487.46s

You can address all three levels within the first 44 picks.

Speaker 42489.54s - 2502.86s

All right, let's see. Well, let's start with Nubin PERSON, and then what do you, what do you think? I guess I slightly lean corner, but now, why don't you be the tiebreaker? Would you rather go for the interior or for corner here?

Speaker 82504.92s - 2511.36s

I mean, personally, I would go corner. I mean, it's, we do need interior.

Speaker 02512.2s - 2516.9s

But the good news is here that we do have two third rounders as well.

Speaker 82517.06s - 2521.56s

So no matter what we get, this is the beauty of just happens.

Speaker 42521.56s - 2524.04s

Eric PERSON comes on and we just instantly override his opinion. Just like, Eric PERSON, no. This is the beauty of just... Eric PERSON comes on and we just instantly override his opinion.

Speaker 82524.2s - 2524.94s

Just like, Eric PERSON, no.

Speaker 42526.14s - 2529.14s

Because Eric PERSON is the guess.

Speaker 82529.3s - 2531.48s

I'll go defensive line. Let's roll a deep.

Speaker 72532.82s - 2533.84s

No, no.

Speaker 82533.84s - 2535.18s

We're fully in Eric PERSON into this.

Speaker 62535.18s - 2541.32s

No, we can go corner because in round three...

Speaker 42541.32s - 2544.44s

The next pick, if there's a good interior defensive line,

Speaker 82544.52s - 2546.28s

we're taking into your d line there's no question

Speaker 42546.28s - 2552.46s

round three i'm thinking going all offense and i'll let you know when we get there okay okay well so

Speaker 82552.46s - 2558.78s

you're you're you're like you know you're acquiescing to our cornerback demands then yeah yeah

Speaker 42558.78s - 2564.54s

we're collaborating this is collaboration yeah i'm good with taking a corner we held you

Speaker 72564.54s - 2567.24s

you know we held you hostage hostage to make you take corn.

Speaker 42567.66s - 2570.56s

But do you guys want Rake Straw or T.J. Tampa PERSON?

Speaker 62570.68s - 2571.78s

That's the other question.

Speaker 42572.7s - 2574.44s

Rake straw is the better playmaker.

Speaker 52576.68s - 2579.3s

Not in love with Tampa ORG's speed,

Speaker 62579.5s - 2580.16s

his long speed.

Speaker 52581.28s - 2583.7s

Definitely can play man and end zone,

Speaker 62583.7s - 2586.2s

but I kind of sort of like rickstrel PERSON a little bit better

Speaker 02586.2s - 2591.86s

other issue with tampa here is nubin's already you know a little slower yeah yeah

Speaker 62591.86s - 2596.7s

i do i do have reg straw like a little bit higher he's usually not here so that's why we've

Speaker 42596.7s - 2602.14s

usually gone with tampa PERSON but but also i got what i wanted with corner i'll let eric

Speaker 52602.14s - 2606.04s

in which of the corners to take yeah you like breakstraw

Speaker 42606.04s - 2610.2s

eric well i'll let you yeah i'll take yeah i'll take right okay yeah since we forced you into this you can

Speaker 62610.2s - 2618.76s

pick this is what a real draft room looks like we just like twisted his arm you know all right

Speaker 82618.76s - 2625.04s

okay so we're at pick 74 here oh mars, Marshawn Neeland PERSON's still here.

Speaker 42625.48s - 2626.04s

Pick 74.

Speaker 82626.68s - 2626.98s

Hmm.

Speaker 42627.46s - 2627.84s

Spicy.

Speaker 82628.46s - 2631.66s

Speaking of defensive interior, Brandon Dorliss PERSON still here.

Speaker 62632.9s - 2637s

We did see Rooka Rororo PERSON go just a few picks earlier.

Speaker 82639s - 2640.26s

Let's see what else we got.

Speaker 62640.4s - 2641.12s

Spencer Rattler PERSON.

Speaker 82641.32s - 2642.18s

This is my mock draft.

Speaker 42642.26s - 2643.5s

I'm not taking Spencer Rattler PERSON, guys.

Speaker 82643.54s - 2643.88s

I'm sorry.

Speaker 42644.88s - 2646.38s

No, you can if you want.

Speaker 72646.44s - 2647.68s

If you want, Eric PERSON, is this,

Speaker 42647.84s - 2649.68s

was this the other offensive pick you were talking about?

Speaker 72650.48s - 2650.88s

Yes.

Speaker 62651.18s - 2651.4s

Okay.

Speaker 42651.48s - 2653.7s

So do you like Rattler? Yes.

Speaker 62654.02s - 2654.22s

Okay.

Speaker 42654.28s - 2661.94s

I like that. Sell me on Rattler because I'm just kind of like. I know a lot of people, I know a lot of people are looking at the round and saying,

Speaker 62662.6s - 2733.38s

and putting him in the same bucket as Desmond Ritter PERSON. And let me go ahead and burst that bubble right now. Desner Ritter and Spencer Rattler PERSON are not the same quarterback. Okay. Whatever, however you feel about Spencer Rattler is one thing. But one thing that we all inconsistence can agree on is that he has an NFL ORG arm.And for someone like himself who has already been in a situation where he had to take a step back and watch from afar, this is a similar situation that he can step into now where he can come in, sit behind Kurt Cousins, watch for two years, and he will be ready to go. I'm a true believer in Spencer Rattler PERSON. He transferred from Oklahoma to South Carolina GPE. The numbers were not that great, but I think part of that is because of the talent level that was dropped off from Oklahoma to South Carolina GPE. Not much on Rattler himself. I think Rattler is worth a shot here. They've met with him. They've had private workouts with him.I think he is on their radar for sure. They need to take a quarterback in this draft. It doesn't have to be at eight,

Speaker 42733.76s - 2739.8s

but they need to get the guy next in line. Yeah. And I think Spencer Rattler PERSON is that guy. So I

Speaker 62739.8s - 2748.5s

have 100% here on Spencer Rattler PERSON. I, yeah. I, like, agree that they're probably going to take Spencer Rattler.

Speaker 42748.6s - 2750.38s

Like, I think they're going to take Spencer Rattler PERSON.

Speaker 62750.48s - 2751.54s

That's my honest opinion.

Speaker 42751.92s - 2753.68s

I did it in my final predictive mock.

Speaker 62754.08s - 2754.82s

I don't love it.

Speaker 42754.88s - 2759.7s

I just, like, to me, he kind of feels like Taylor Hineke PERSON a little bit.

Speaker 52759.7s - 2772.34s

Jesus, Kevin PERSON. A little bit. Just in that he's small. Now, actually, Taylor Hinkie PERSON's a better athlete But I think Rattler has a better arm ObviouslyAnd like I do think Rattler has

Speaker 42772.34s - 2791.26s

Upside And I like his maturity too Like I think people like think of his You know flaming out of Oklahoma And all that stuff And they just think that's who Rattler isAnd he's instead He's actually matured and grown a lot as a quarterback. He has. And he impressed a lot of people at the Senior Bowl EVENT with his maturity in that atmosphere. And he's not.

Speaker 62791.26s - 2792.82s

New York GPE MVP or something like?

Speaker 42793.02s - 2834.88s

Yeah. Yes, he was. So Rattler is not this like gunslinger loose cannon guy. That's not really his style anymore. That's just like what he started off with. And yes, if we're trying to be somewhat predictive, I like do believe that they will take Spencer PERSON rather if he's here. That being said, I love Marshawn Neeland PERSON. And he's available here as well. But we have other things to consider too. You know, I know a lot of people have mentioned Spencer Van Pran PERSON. And on it, like I've never actually sent Spencer Van, or Cedric, not Spencer, Cedric Van Prand PERSON. I've never actually sent Cedric Van Prand to the Falcons this year.I did last year before he announced he was going back to school. Right.

Speaker 52835.18s - 2840.38s

But them going after another center is not crazy at all.

Speaker 42841.18s - 2856.64s

And I think this is, if they're really looking for a successor to Drew Dalman, that that's going to be cheaper, I think Van Pran is an option, for sure, a good option. And it would fill the dog quota that we desperately need to fill. So, you know, there's also

Speaker 82856.64s - 2861.82s

that angle to it. The most important thing in this mock is to get at least one Georgia ORG Bulldo.

Speaker 42862.08s - 2863.82s

Yes, that is the requirement.

Speaker 62864.56s - 2867.2s

Well, we were until you guys took a safety.

Speaker 42867.62s - 2873.7s

Yeah, that's true. I ruined it, yeah, but I don't even know, yeah, I don't even know if Jevonne Bullard's still here.

Speaker 62874.2s - 2875.26s

I have my eyes on Bullard PERSON.

Speaker 42875.44s - 2876.7s

He's not. He's not still here.

Speaker 62876.9s - 2880.62s

Either Boat or Techie Smith PERSON. I have my eyes on both of them.

Speaker 42881.96s - 2885s

All right. Well, what do you think on X?

Speaker 62885.04s - 2886.94s

We're going to pick at 74 and then again at 79.

Speaker 42887.46s - 2907.28s

Spencer Rattler usually goes to the Broncos ORG. So if we don't take him here, the Broncos will probably take him at 76. Unless they took Knicks ORG at the top. Let me check on that. They did not. Okay.Somebody took Nix PERSON somewhere. I don't know who took Bo Nix PERSON. Who did? Oh, the Rams at 19 took Boownix PERSON. That is so weird.

Speaker 02910s - 2937.02s

Philip has just lost the respect of the Youth League football team he coaches. He was asked what New England should do in the draft, and his answer was objectively terrible. The Athletic just wrote a great article about this, but Philip doesn't have the athletic or the respect of a boisterous group of 11-year-olds who once looked up to him. Learn from Philip's error. Get the athletic and get the info you need to speak draft fluently.

Speaker 12937.64s - 2961.7s

Call, clickgranger.com, or just stop by.Granger PERSON, for the ones

Speaker 52961.7s - 2962.72s

who get it done.

Speaker 12968.32s - 2969.78s

The Rams at 19.

Speaker 52970.06s - 2971.12s

Yeah, they took Bodex PERSON.

Speaker 12971.2s - 2971.66s

That's hilarious.

Speaker 52972.34s - 2975.32s

This is really injecting the randomness of the real draft.

Speaker 42975.68s - 2976.58s

Yeah, this is random.

Speaker 02977.08s - 2979.62s

Yeah, the real draft is like that, though.

Speaker 52979.64s - 2980.64s

There's just like those like, what?

Speaker 62980.7s - 2981.28s

They did that?

Speaker 52981.62s - 2983.54s

That's actually more realistic in some ways.

Speaker 62983.54s - 2988.46s

You know, this is Sean McVeigh's first, first round his entire career i know he doesn't he's just sweating he doesn't

Speaker 52988.46s - 2992.1s

know what to do with no idea they're gonna get something tells me they're gonna be aggressive as

Speaker 62992.1s - 2996.92s

shit you normally holds those thursdays off now he's like damn i have to work i have to come in today

Speaker 52996.92s - 3003.64s

right it's the building tonight yes well i don't know if you saw but in the sb nation uh draft

Speaker 63003.64s - 3006.54s

the the rams writer called me to trade up from 19.

Speaker 43006.9s - 3007.66s

So I did.

Speaker 63008.22s - 3009.62s

They have like a dozen picks.

Speaker 83009.92s - 3010.12s

Yeah.

Speaker 43010.26s - 3016.94s

So they gave me their 2025 first and 83 as well as 19.

Speaker 53017.4s - 3019.16s

So, and then I got Latu, let's you at 19.

Speaker 43019.36s - 3021.04s

And everything was, you know, amazing.

Speaker 53022.24s - 3026.02s

So, you know, if that could happen, I'm open to that as well.

Speaker 43026.16s - 3029.46s

But I've always, I've always felt like the Rams ORG will be an intriguing partner to

Speaker 53029.46s - 3031.76s

Traywood, of course, because of the connections with Morris.

Speaker 43031.96s - 3033.88s

But I just didn't want to go that far down.

Speaker 53034.18s - 3034.34s

Yeah.

Speaker 43034.76s - 3036.16s

You know, we can work on that.

Speaker 63036.56s - 3037.42s

We can work on that.

Speaker 43037.8s - 3043.1s

But, yeah, we've done a lot of third round ride receivers.

Speaker 63043.28s - 3044.62s

We've done a lot of third round safeties.

Speaker 43044.74s - 3046.2s

We've done a lot of third round. We. We've done a lot of third round safeties. We've done a lot of third round.

Speaker 63046.2s - 3047.48s

Third round receiver.

Speaker 43047.98s - 3048.68s

There's another one.

Speaker 63049.32s - 3052.76s

There's another receiver in the third round that I have my own.

Speaker 43052.88s - 3053.64s

I'm sorry, guys.

Speaker 53053.76s - 3056.6s

I just, I feel like this is for offense.

Speaker 63057.26s - 3057.5s

Okay.

Speaker 53057.66s - 3061.82s

The Mots that I've done, I've saved everything offensively into round three.

Speaker 63062.08s - 3062.3s

Okay.

Speaker 43062.6s - 3064.82s

Well, who's the receiver you like in round?

Speaker 63064.94s - 3065.58s

Javon Baker PERSON. Yeah, yeah in round? Javon Baker.

Speaker 43066.08s - 3066.78s

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 63067.32s - 3069.08s

They love Javon Baker PERSON.

Speaker 43069.36s - 3071.7s

They've met with him multiple times as well.

Speaker 63072.12s - 3075.24s

He's starting to get a rise in his draft stock.

Speaker 43075.24s - 3078.6s

He's probably going to be a third rounder, maybe early,

Speaker 63078.76s - 3096.44s

maybe sneaking to that bottom half of the second, depending on how the wide receiver class goes. But I love Javon Baker PERSON in this spot. That kid is everything you want a receiver to be. Tough, confident. Yeah, he's a little arrogant. Most receivers are.

Speaker 43096.74s - 3098.24s

That's required for a wide receiver.

Speaker 63098.24s - 3098.56s

Right.

Speaker 43098.68s - 3100.56s

That's required. Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 63101.86s - 3116.18s

Strong hands, doesn't have great separation skills, but you know what? With his size and his ability to go get the football, he doesn't have great separation skills but you know what with his size and his ability to go get the football he doesn't necessarily need it because he wins his fair share battles i just i just love jvonne baker here oh yeah jason gains PERSON brings up a good point on that too we got

Speaker 43116.18s - 3122.08s

to fill my ucf my ucf night's quota as well um so many quotas do we have we have a lot of quotas

Speaker 63122.08s - 3130.82s

there's a lot of there's a lot of spinning plates that we got to keep this is georgiaf right yeah the the one mock draft you didn't know you need it the jrcf

Speaker 43130.82s - 3136.02s

night's jrata if there's ever if there's ever a coach that i that i think will meet that georgia GPE quota

Speaker 63136.02s - 3142.04s

it could be what he could he knows he knows this community he knows he understands he knows he knows he knows

Speaker 43142.04s - 3145.66s

the assignment we need championship category on this team.

Speaker 63145.86s - 3148.14s

The reason why the Falcons ORG have been winning a lot

Speaker 43148.14s - 3150.72s

is because they haven't gotten enough Georgia Bulldogs ORG.

Speaker 83151.2s - 3152.36s

That's clearly the answer.

Speaker 63152.54s - 3153.48s

It's not anything else.

Speaker 83153.68s - 3154.2s

Definitely not.

Speaker 43154.44s - 3156.42s

It's not all the other problems with this team.

Speaker 83157.88s - 3160.84s

Not to unroll the scroll of all the problems.

Speaker 63162.04s - 3165.2s

I'm willing to meet in the middle here. I'm willing to go to offensive players. I'm not a big fan of Rattler in the problems. I'm willing to meet in the middle here.

Speaker 83165.32s - 3167.48s

I'm willing to go to offensive players.

Speaker 43168s - 3170.4s

I'm not a big fan of Rattler in the third round either.

Speaker 73170.5s - 3172.72s

I'm not a big fan of any quarterback in the third round.

Speaker 03174.48s - 3174.8s

Why?

Speaker 73176.02s - 3182.58s

Because I just don't like taking quarterbacks in the third round just in general.

Speaker 83182.58s - 3191.62s

I don't think the hit rate has been very good on that. Because for every Russell Wilson, there's 10 Kellyn Mons PERSON. For every

Speaker 43191.62s - 3198.28s

Dak Prescott, there's, you know, 15 Desmond Ritters PERSON. I feel like this team has too many

Speaker 83198.28s - 3206.5s

holes right now to spend a pick on a quarterback and date to it. It feels like a bit of a luxury right now.

Speaker 43208.5s - 3208.96s

Okay.

Speaker 83209.54s - 3212.6s

But I do think that will take him if he's here.

Speaker 73212.76s - 3215.9s

Also, even though I don't personally like it.

Speaker 83215.9s - 3218.68s

What I think of what the Falcons are going to do, two different things.

Speaker 43219.16s - 3221.54s

I think if he's there in the third round, they do take him.

Speaker 83223s - 3225.82s

But for the sake of this, I am down to go.

Speaker 43226.6s - 3228.84s

I am down to go to offensive players here.

Speaker 83229.46s - 3279.04s

I'm fine with Baker PERSON, for sure. And I'm good with Cedric Van Prent PERSON. I spoke about my reluctance with taking a tackle on some of our patron mock drops just because I kept bringing up the point that if you take a tackle, you have to have him beat out Storm Norton, who was very, very good last year, who was one of the best swing tackles in the NFL ORG.And if he cannot beat out Storm Norton PERSON, then it's sort of a waste of a pick. But Cedric Van Prand PERSON would be an interior offensive lineman. I do not think that the depth on this team, on the interior of the offensive line, is as good as it is when it comes to the tackles themselves. Because, well, you have to beat out Ryan Nozzell PERSON.And, you know, no offense to Ryan Newsel PERSON, but, you know.

Speaker 43280.5s - 3280.62s

I like, newsflash.

Speaker 83281.34s - 3283.8s

Okay, excuse me. Yeah, yeah, hey, hey, you know,

Speaker 43284.44s - 3289.56s

I'll have Evan come up behind me and hit me with a shovel if I say anything about Ryan Newsell PERSON again.

Speaker 83289.56s - 3289.88s

That's right.

Speaker 73290s - 3300.04s

But, yeah, I'm fine with going with the center as well here or with an interior offensive lineman, even if it is on day two.

Speaker 83301.02s - 3311.4s

Because I do think that the offensive line, the offensive line, I really like it, but I don't like the depth on the interior of the offensive line, especially with Matt Hennessy PERSON gone.

Speaker 43311.6s - 3323.68s

Yeah. Yeah. No, I understand that. Okay, so, by my, okay, Eric, who would you rather have? If you had to choose between Spencer Rattler and Javon Baker PERSON, which one would you rather see come to the Falcons ORG? Yes.

Speaker 63326.68s - 3328.04s

That's a tough call, I know.

Speaker 43328.48s - 3331.64s

So. Rattler.

Speaker 63332.36s - 3332.74s

Okay.

Speaker 43333.16s - 3334.5s

Well, let's do Spencer Rattler PERSON.

Speaker 63334.82s - 3346.22s

And we'll see if Baker makes it to 7-9, then we could have a conversation about going him or, or, uh, SVP. But, uh, I do agree, like, spread, they're probably going to take Spencer Rattler PERSON.

Speaker 73346.76s - 3348.02s

I think they're going to take them to.

Speaker 53348.42s - 3348.86s

So,

Speaker 43349.3s - 3349.44s

like,

Speaker 53349.44s - 3352.34s

in the interest of getting some picks right on this live mock draft,

Speaker 43352.42s - 3358.94s

I'm going to take Spencer Rattler PERSON, but, you know, this is like a hybrid predictive and slash,

Speaker 83358.94s - 3360.5s

you know. Yeah.

Speaker 43361.42s - 3362.72s

At the same time,

Speaker 83363.38s - 3366.06s

I don't even know if Rottler's going to be there in the third round.

Speaker 43366.06s - 3367.6s

Yeah, it's exactly right. He may not.

Speaker 83368.28s - 3372.18s

That's kind of why I didn't really entertain Marshawn Nealon PERSON, because I'm pretty sure he's going to be long gone.

Speaker 63372.18s - 3374.04s

I don't think Nealyn PERSON would be.

Speaker 43374.48s - 3376.74s

Neil is not falling out of the second.

Speaker 83377.28s - 3424.4s

Because just, like, think of how many teams need quarterbacks just in general. Like we talked about the Raiders ORG. We talked about, you know, the Broncos ORG. We talked about, you know, the Broncos. We talked about, you know, and then there was a bunch of teams, you know, like the Falcons with these veteran quarterbacks who will want that, you know, quarterback to put behind them for a couple of years. If Bratler is there in the third round, like, you know, I'm not, I'm not staunch. I'm not like this, you know, stanchly like dug in, you know, written in stone, you know, no quarterbacks. I can be talked into it. And I definitely think that the Falcons don't have to be talked into it if he's there in the third round. So, I mean, I'm fine with going Rettler PERSON here. And then we can see what we do with the other third round.

Speaker 43424.66s - 3490.32s

Is it, are we already on the clock yeah so javon baker is still here um so we could go that direction i know we've talked about that and they do have interest i think that's a potential place that they do go um and you know i would definitely consider malik washington here as well different type of player obviously than baker more of that slot presence. And then, you know, I would consider Cedric Van Pran as well, just because the dog quote,no. Also, he's really good, you know, that he's, I think he's an NFL ORG starting center. So what, what are we thinking? Do we want to go? I mean, I think Baker is definitely better value. I mean, just given his, like, he could be a potential second rounder. I think this is probably the low end of where he's going to go.But I do think they'll consider Van Pran here. I think they'll consider other guys that fall in this range like Brandon Doris from Oregon GPE. He's here. He's kind of an interesting, versatile interior guy. Eric, you're very much team Baker PERSON, right?

Speaker 63491.2s - 3493.38s

Yes, I'm team Baker PERSON right here, man.

Speaker 43493.42s - 3502.24s

Okay. Yeah, I mean, that's probably the way I lean to just based on draft value. But I'm not curious if you lean Baker or if you have other preferences with this second, third rounder.

Speaker 83502.84s - 3551.5s

I mean, if we are looking at you know we do need to still fill some needs and this team does still have that wide receiver need so i'm i'm more than okay going baker um because like right now the wide receiver room after drake london is what mooney and rondale more like sure they addressed it a little bit but I still don't think it's sort of enough. I think they need to do more. I think they will do more. And, yeah, going, you know, going with another wide receiver, it'll make this, you know, a much better wide receiver room. And I'm pretty sure, you know, Kirk Cousins PERSON will be happy about it as well. So, yeah, I'm fine. I'm completely okay with going offense, offense here.

Speaker 43552.28s - 3629.54s

Yeah, okay. Let's do Javon Baker PERSON. I think that's another one that has a decent chance of actually happening. And then we'll wait for this to process. But yeah, for those that are just joining us now, the pick so far, we traded down to 13 with the Raiders to pick up an extra second round pick.So at 13, we took Lyatulatu, who was still there. Then at 43, we took safety Tyler Newbin from Minnesota at 44, doubling up on the secondary. We took cornerback Ennis Rick Straw Jr. At 74, we got the quarterback that the Falcons ORG seemed to be obsessed with getting, and quarterback Spencer Rattler there from South Carolina that at 79 we just took wide receiver Javon Baker from UCF ORG charge on. All right. So pick 109.Let's see what we got here. So Michael Pratt PERSON, interestingly, is here. I don't think they've shown anywhere near as much interest in Pratt PERSON. I guess he's maybe the other sort of vaguely day three-ish guy they could consider. We're still looking at Center Hunter Norzad from Penn State ORG. This is definitely one to consider. He's definitely one of those potential starting center types here in the early day three sort of range. Let's see. Tight end, Jared Wiley, Cameron Kitchens from Miami GPE. What do you think? I know you're big Miami GPE. You're not a Miami GPE guy, right? You're more of a, are you Miami guy, Eric PERSON? Am I getting confused with somebody else?

Speaker 63629.82s - 3630.84s

Yes, I am.

Speaker 43630.84s - 3635.66s

Okay. But it's way too low. Tintzes will not be here in the fourth round. I agree.

Speaker 63635.96s - 3639.44s

Yeah. I will make a parlay on that.

Speaker 43640.18s - 3641.72s

You would take that one. Yeah.

Speaker 63641.94s - 3642.8s

I will take that.

Speaker 83643.94s - 3647.84s

What are the odds you think? What are the odds on that one. Yeah. I will take that. What are the odds you think? What are the odds on that one, though?

Speaker 63649.16s - 3650.72s

I'm curious to know.

Speaker 83650.86s - 3652.04s

I think he's a second rounder.

Speaker 63652.46s - 3653.3s

I think he's a second rounder.

Speaker 43653.42s - 3658.06s

I think he's day two. I think he's day two for sure. Let's see. We got.

Speaker 63658.76s - 3663.22s

Interior D-line here. What is that look like? Let's check it out.

Speaker 43663.22s - 3666.04s

Tavondre sweat after the DUI is in this range.

Speaker 63666.76s - 3673.38s

Mackay Wingo PERSON, Dwayne Carter, Mason Smith PERSON, Leonard Taylor the third are all the guys available. I like Mason Smith PERSON a lot.

Speaker 43673.98s - 3676.86s

Yeah, he's interesting for sure. I like me.

Speaker 63678.44s - 3681.34s

There's a chance we could get him in the fifth.

Speaker 43681.42s - 3692.42s

I don't know. There's a chance. We also got Brennan Jackson at Edge FAC. He's interesting from Washington State GPE. We got Tykee Smith PERSON to fill the dog quota.

Speaker 83694.24s - 3703.36s

We can pull the dog quota later. We got Nubin PERSON. I really like Hillems PERSON as a backup safety. I don't think we need a safety here.

Speaker 43703.92s - 3716.46s

Yeah. I guess he could be like a slot guy too, but Matt Guncalves PERSON, I think, from Pittsburgh ORG at tackle. Let's see.

Speaker 63718.7s - 3733.76s

So I was thinking, are you guys pondering at some point, possibly getting someone to kind of sort of, I mean, and I know, I know Adnan addressed a little bit early as far as the holes on the, holes on the roster.

Speaker 03734.84s - 3742.9s

But Jake Matthews is getting up there in age, and he's entering a contract year next season, I want to say.

Speaker 63742.9s - 3746.04s

I think they did something with his deal.

Speaker 43747.54s - 3751.48s

Should they consider addressing that at some point in the draft this year?

Speaker 63752.36s - 3753.9s

Getting out, getting used their apparent.

Speaker 83754.46s - 3758.68s

I feel like I would only address that very early.

Speaker 03759.04s - 3763.58s

So if Joe Halt was there, I would take, I mean, I would take all at eight.

Speaker 63763.7s - 3765.84s

Like, I'm beating the drunk for Joel PERSON.

Speaker 03765.84s - 3778.36s

I have been this whole time, but I don't know if a day three safety is really going to be, you know, the error parent or Jake Matthews PERSON.

Speaker 83778.44s - 3838.18s

I feel like, or not safety, excuse me, tackle. I feel like with tackles, like like that's one of those premium positions. And with this team in general, if you draft a tackle, one, I just talked about you, you'll have to beat out Storm Orton, who was really good last year as either the swing tackle. Or if you grab someone like an alt he would need to begood enough to supplant caleb mary which i i think alt is and then i think you can sort of get a bit brisky and look into moving mary for maybe a second rounder or whatever you can get for him but i feel like with tackle i do really like the idea of grabbing someone to replace Matthews because I would much rather be proactive with that than, you know, get caught holding a bag with with a poor left tackle. We saw how that worked out in 2013.

Speaker 03838.6s - 3848.86s

But it has to be someone who's really, you know, realistically good enough to be your starting tackle for 10 years after Matthews PERSON or

Speaker 83848.86s - 3849.14s

tired.

Speaker 43850.68s - 3853.72s

Yeah, Matthews is officially here through 2026.

Speaker 63855.54s - 3857.98s

Was it next year, would they have the out?

Speaker 43858.22s - 3908.24s

I know there's an easy enough. Yes, I believe next year they have an out if they want it. Sure. And this year, year yeah let's see matthews okay here we go yeah so so yeah starting next year they could just get out of the deal for you know about break even savings they would save nine million against the cap and in 2026there's more or less like a extended team option year, you know, with about 15 million in cap savings. So they have, they have two more years. I kind of agree with the odd-on and then I feel like at this range in the draft, they're more like you're not really getting someone that's going to shake up your depth chart too much. And I think, I think like next year we're going to go into next year like with the first roundtackle as like a big need. But we'll see. We'll have to see what happens there. Okay.

Speaker 63908.64s - 3912.06s

Well, I mean, I just wanted to kind of sort of toss it out there.

Speaker 43912.18s - 3927.84s

No, no, it's interesting. But I'd much rather think at this point, I think the value at defensive tackle is too good to pass up at this point. What about sweat?Like, I think in this range, you're definitely getting a discount. And they need a nose tackle And they need a nose tackle.

Speaker 63928.4s - 3939s

They need a nose tackle. Is this more so to have a backup in case Eddie Goldman PERSON says, I'm out once again?

Speaker 43939.38s - 3941.46s

The very likely scenario.

Speaker 53942.46s - 3945.28s

Fool me twice.

Speaker 43946.24s - 3950.46s

Because you know what you're going to get when you take a guy like sweat.

Speaker 63950.84s - 3955.36s

You know he's strictly a nose, especially in this particular defense,

Speaker 43955.6s - 3961.56s

which means he's not going to see a ton of snaps this year if Eddie Goldman stays in action plays this year.

Speaker 63962.24s - 3970.18s

So it'll be interesting to see how he's deployed. But, I mean, the skill set is there. I see what you're saying, Kevin. and action plays this year. So it'll be interesting to see how he's deployed. But, I mean, the skill set is there. I see what you're saying, Kevin PERSON.

Speaker 43975.2s - 3976.34s

He's got that juice that some that a lot of these days don't have to.

Speaker 63978.5s - 3979.18s

What is he even going to be on their board?

Speaker 83979.5s - 3979.56s

Right.

Speaker 63980.22s - 3981.14s

Like, I don't know.

Speaker 83981.38s - 3982.16s

Right. Good question.

Speaker 43982.54s - 3984.78s

I mean, because they, and they're big on character.

Speaker 63985.7s - 3993.14s

They're big on character in that locker room. So, I mean, the skill set says this is a steal.

Speaker 73994.26s - 4006.44s

It is. And if it was me, I'm pulling the trigger there. But, you know, and I'm not someone who wants, who's going to condemn someone for making, you know, a bad mistake.

Speaker 84006.64s - 4007.64s

You know, never drive drunk.

Speaker 04007.78s - 4008.08s

Do I.

Speaker 84008.56s - 4009.44s

Not good.

Speaker 64009.5s - 4012.02s

I'm not saying that, oh, yeah, he shouldn't be in the league or anything.

Speaker 84012.24s - 4022.8s

But I am saying that the Falcons ORG themselves, I don't know if, I feel like something like that would take a player off of their board. We saw it.

Speaker 44022.8s - 4023.3s

It's possible.

Speaker 84023.6s - 4025.86s

I mean, we had the discussions last year with Carter PERSON.

Speaker 44026.76s - 4031.5s

Like, he would have been, you know, the, I feel like he would have been the BPA there

Speaker 84031.5s - 4047.26s

at eight last season. And the Falcons passed up on him, took B. John Robinson PERSON. And I can't help but think that, yeah, maybe, you know, maybe the off-the-field stuff did have something to do with that. Maybe he would have been a pick if he didn't get into it. Yeah. Yeah, maybe the off-the-field stuff did have something to do with that. Maybe he would have been to pick if he didn't get into it.

Speaker 64047.62s - 4047.76s

Yeah.

Speaker 84047.88s - 4048.32s

Yeah, maybe.

Speaker 54048.32s - 4052.88s

I think that's reasonable to think because, again, they've, and they,

Speaker 84053.56s - 4058.08s

Fontenau PERSON has addressed that publicly before as far as character and how much that matters.

Speaker 54058.24s - 4061.84s

And in some cases, they will look at that before they look at a player's film.

Speaker 64062.38s - 4067.34s

So, sweat may not necessarily be on the board.

Speaker 04067.34s - 4067.72s

Again,

Speaker 64067.88s - 4080.74s

skill set says you pulled this trigger, you don't look back. But at DUI at this point, like I just, that's right before the drop too. Like the timing could not be worse.Could not be any worse. Right. Yeah.

Speaker 44080.74s - 4081.84s

So I'm,

Speaker 64081.84s - 4084.98s

I'm, I'm here for Mason Smith PERSON at 109.

Speaker 44087.2s - 4092.52s

I don't know how you, what do you like about, what do you like about Mason Smith? Well, he has this very intimidated frame first and foremost when

Speaker 64092.52s - 4098.02s

you look at him. It reminds me, remember when Sean Oakman was at Baylor ORG? And Sean

Speaker 84098.02s - 4103.68s

Moleyer, yeah, I remember. Yeah. It's just that that frame that when you look at him, you say

Speaker 64103.68s - 4159.98s

he's definitely a football player. Like he's one of the first players you're going to let off the bus because you want people to see that 6-5, 315 pound frame. He fills it out. Athletic, really, really good play strength, powerful hands, a guy that can really move and win his fair share of battles. He just couldn't get on the field at LSU ORG. Why?I'm not really sure because it wasn't as if LSU ORG has been cranking out interior defensive linemen over the last several years. But he had limited playing time early in his career. But I think he's a diamond in the rough. And again, you're not needing him to be a guy from day one. You just need him to soak up everything Grady Jared and DaveyAnamata does and let him in Contavia Street be that second set of defensive tackle is coming in.

Speaker 44160.08s - 4165.26s

Oh yeah. I love that. Yeah, he's not someone I had considered here, but he is interesting.

Speaker 64165.98s - 4176.26s

I mean, I don't mind the idea of going after sort of a guy with a higher ceiling with those kinds of traits who's sort of discounted here.

Speaker 84176.8s - 4179.9s

Because like Eric PERSON said, he didn't really get on the field.

Speaker 04179.9s - 4186.56s

He suffered an injury a couple of years ago. So, you know, it feels like if more stuff broke his way,

Speaker 84187.26s - 4191.3s

then, you know, we would probably be talking about it maybe as like a second rounder.

Speaker 74191.82s - 4200s

But, you know, rolling the dice on someone like that in the fourth, like I, I mean, I wouldn't mind it at all, especially someone who you wouldn't,

Speaker 84200.66s - 4204.72s

whom you're not expecting to make an impact from day one.

Speaker 44205.42s - 4256.24s

Yeah, yeah. And like, if you're looking at tape, like, yes, of course, DeVondria Sweets PRODUCT tapes better. But I think the point we're trying to make is I don't think that sweats on the Falcons ORG board. So if we're trying to deliver a semi-accurate mock draft for the pockets, I don't think it can have sweat in it at this point. And this is coming from a guy who had sweat in like three or four mock drafts prior to his arrest. So, like, I mean, I'm all about sweat. You don't have to convince me, you know, you don't have to convince me that that sweat's good on tape. But I just don't think the Falcons ORG are going to consider him. That's the only thing holding me back there. But let's go with Mason Smith PERSON because I agree. I think this is the staff that likes to develop guys and likes to take chances on guys. And the fourth round is the place to do it. You're not giving up a premium asset. You've got a chance to develop a guy behind an already good group of starters. And yeah, I haven't taken him before. So we'll work that in.

Speaker 64256.5s - 4266s

Maybe that'll be one of those surprise picks. Cool. So defensively, we're talking about what? Latu, Smith, Newbin, and Braggstra PERSON? Yeah.

Speaker 44266.5s - 4268.1s

That's pretty damn good, guys.

Speaker 64268.62s - 4269.22s

It's exciting.

Speaker 44270.12s - 4272.52s

That's pretty good.

Speaker 64272.52s - 4273.36s

It's coming together.

Speaker 44273.78s - 4275.56s

We got some defense coming together here.

Speaker 64276.36s - 4280.74s

We still need to fill our Georgia ORG quota, though.

Speaker 44280.76s - 4281.66s

The Georgia ORG quota.

Speaker 64282.02s - 4282.66s

Yes, we do.

Speaker 84282.78s - 4283.92s

We're going to have to grab, you know.

Speaker 64283.92s - 4286.22s

We got some guys there, too. We filled wide receiver have to grab, you know. Guys there, too. We filled wide receiver.

Speaker 84286.46s - 4297.6s

We even, you know, we even got the, you know, developmental quarterback as well. So I don't know. Yeah, I know I'm biased here, but I feel like we've done a good job. Yeah.

Speaker 44297.98s - 4300.94s

Not to shoot our own horns or anything, but I think we've done a great job here. Yeah.

Speaker 84301.44s - 4305.58s

But we are great. We did a great job. Congratulations, guys. Yeah. But I think We did a great job. Congratulations, guys. Yeah.

Speaker 44305.98s - 4312.32s

But I think, okay, so here, the top guys left on the board. What pick are we?

Speaker 64312.46s - 4313.34s

We're 140?

Speaker 44313.46s - 4318.5s

143. So Leonard Taylor, the third still here on the interior.

Speaker 04318.86s - 4326.82s

We got Charles Smith Wade PERSON at court. Yeah. I guess some teams have character concerns with him. I think that's what I heard, but I don't know if he'll last this long.

Speaker 64327.12s - 4329.74s

He hasn't had, he hasn't done anything off the field. No,

Speaker 44329.86s - 4333.32s

no, I think it's more like they're wondering why he's so hot and cold. Like,

Speaker 64333.36s - 4334.14s

I don't know there's any

Speaker 54334.14s - 4334.98s

firm report.

Speaker 64335.1s - 4336.26s

You know, there's always this like,

Speaker 74336.32s - 4343.92s

that's why I hate this stuff because it's like, oh, there's character. Like, okay, what did he do?Well, you know, he just, why didn't he get on, why didn't he play? Well, I don't know.

Speaker 64344.64s - 4361.34s

You're supposed to tell me. I don't want to go too off track, but there was an issue that came up when it came to his playing time and why he wasn't receiving as many steps. And a lot of it had to do with just his conduct on the practice field in the wait room and stuff like that. But that's what's the point.Yeah.

Speaker 44361.7s - 4363.1s

He's still not going to be here in the fifth.

Speaker 64363.22s - 4363.42s

Yeah.

Speaker 44363.52s - 4364.98s

I can slip is here, though.

Speaker 64365.2s - 4366.04s

I know he is. I think Tykey Smith just went off the board. Let me Yeah. He's still not going to be here in a fifth. Yeah. Hike slip is here, though. I know he is.

Speaker 44366.64s - 4369.74s

I think Tykeesmith PERSON just went off the board. Let me see.

Speaker 64369.78s - 4371.24s

He is? Let me check.

Speaker 44372.82s - 4375.96s

Yeah, he went, actually went just a few picks after the Falcons ORG pick.

Speaker 64377.58s - 4380.94s

And then, I don't know about that quote of being met unless.

Speaker 44381.32s - 4382.64s

Marcus rose to me, Jackson PERSON.

Speaker 64383.02s - 4387.86s

If we have to blow our last pick on it, we'll do it.

Speaker 84387.98s - 4391.6s

If the Falcons could do with Justin Schaefer a few years ago, we can do it in this month.

Speaker 64391.8s - 4393.66s

I don't know what other Georgia ORG players there are.

Speaker 44393.66s - 4396.26s

You know what I've done a couple of times with that last pick?

Speaker 64396.92s - 4399.06s

I've taken Kendall Milton PERSON. Yeah.

Speaker 44399.42s - 4401.78s

Just to add a third runner back to the room.

Speaker 64402.12s - 4402.76s

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 44402.92s - 4403.96s

A Georgia ORG guy.

Speaker 64404.02s - 4404.52s

Oh, there you go.

Speaker 44404.58s - 4408.98s

You're right. Kendall Milton PERSON will be there. We're all good. We'll wait until 197. We'll grab Kendall Milton PERSON. It's all good.

Speaker 84409.12s - 4413.38s

The only thing, the only thing, what position is Avery Williams playing next year?

Speaker 64414.3s - 4418.92s

Avery Williams PERSON is already struggling for playing time because Ray Ray

Speaker 84418.92s - 4421.42s

Ray McLeod is still in his snaps on special time.

Speaker 64422.08s - 4423.66s

So he's going to have to carve his mission.

Speaker 74423.66s - 4425.24s

Don't you slander that punt return ability. That was some amazing. He's going to have to carve his mission. Don't you slander that punt return ability.

Speaker 44425.34s - 4426.02s

That was some amazing.

Speaker 74426.8s - 4429.4s

He's going to have to make his way onto the roster.

Speaker 44429.64s - 4434.44s

It's going to be a hell of a competition for the punt returner.

Speaker 64435.04s - 4440s

But Avery Williams did lead the league in punt return average a couple of years ago.

Speaker 84441.38s - 4455.82s

But we'll see how he looks coming off that ACL injury. Now, that being said, I will have to drop off early. So I will leave it in your capable hands. I'm going to look back on this video to make sure that we got a Georgia ORG player, by the way.

Speaker 74457.98s - 4460.02s

They will look.

Speaker 44460.02s - 4462.56s

They got incensed that we drafted.

Speaker 84462.56s - 4464.76s

To make sure that we fell the Georgia ORG quota.

Speaker 74465.2s - 4467.18s

That we slandered that man on that.

Speaker 44468.28s - 4468.5s

All right.

Speaker 84468.66s - 4469.34s

That one player.

Speaker 44469.46s - 4471.28s

Kevin PERSON, I'll see you guys tomorrow night. Eric PERSON,

Speaker 64471.28s - 4472.12s

it was really good to see.

Speaker 44472.44s - 4472.92s

Yes, sir.

Speaker 64473s - 4473.48s

Take it easy.

Speaker 84473.94s - 4474.36s

Thanks,

Speaker 64474.36s - 4474.48s

Adon PERSON.

Speaker 84474.58s - 4475.12s

Appreciate you.

Speaker 54475.54s - 4491.24s

All right, we're going to have to finish. We're going to double team this and finish this out. Eric's we're already at like an hour and 15. We've been we've been chopping it up here. Let's see. So, yeah, in this range, Luke McCaffrey is always good uh i just love luke mccalfre PERSON i think he's such an interesting

Speaker 04491.24s - 4497.66s

receiver um malik mustafa at safety i think is a really fun like box safety guy uh cedric gray

Speaker 74497.66s - 4504.06s

at linebacker i think is interesting i like dj james as like a depth corner um cam hart also as a

Speaker 04504.06s - 4509.32s

depth corner i think really interesting. Curious if you have any like favorite guys in this range.

Speaker 64510.12s - 4512.58s

Do you consider double dipping at edge here?

Speaker 44513.5s - 4519.32s

Yeah, I think what like Gabe Murphy PERSON is here. I don't know that he's going to last this long.

Speaker 54520.62s - 4522.96s

But let me check and see what we got here.

Speaker 44530.54s - 4538.38s

Let's see. We got Jante jean baptiste nelson caesar braden mcgregor uh miles cole justina boyby PERSON yeah it's pretty slim picking at edge

Speaker 64538.38s - 4547.2s

so jonah ellis is gone no he's long gone yeah i love john alice Ellis PERSON. Yeah. Let's see. You know, we've tapped

Speaker 44547.2s - 4554.74s

every position on defense except linebacker. Maybe we should take a depth guy slash special team.

Speaker 64554.82s - 4566.4s

I don't know if you're, if this is still early enough for you here in round five. Some teams look at round five and saying, hey, mate, you can still find a steal. You can still find a starter at some point.

Speaker 44567.12s - 4570.36s

That's why I like Luke McCaffrey, because I feel like he can play special

Speaker 64570.36s - 4571.76s

team, six to like over 200.

Speaker 44572.02s - 4575.46s

You know, he's a special team or two, has that inside outside flexibility.

Speaker 64575.46s - 4593.9s

But Cedric Gray, the linebacker from North Carolina GPE, is still here too. You know, what's interesting with McCaffrey, man, when he was at Rice ORG, they used him in such a similar fashion as how to Rams use Cooper Cup. I don't want to sit here and say, like, you're saying he's the next

Speaker 44593.9s - 4599.62s

Cooper Cup? I'm not sitting here saying, man, I'm just saying when I'm watching his tape, just getting

Speaker 64599.62s - 4626.74s

like he was, like you said, he was a six two guy and he lined up like literally primarily in the slot, literally all the time, winning his fair share of battles. Just quicker than fast, good footwork, makes the tough catches. I swear, man, watching, I was like, this is, this is similar to what the Rams did with Cooper Cup. But I see what you see at him. I like him a lot too.Yeah.

Speaker 44626.88s - 4629.58s

Well, do you want to do that or do you want to go for a lineback?

Speaker 64629.6s - 4630.48s

Well, why the hell not?

Speaker 44631.02s - 4632.12s

You can never have too many weapons.

Speaker 64632.48s - 4636.08s

Luke McCaffrey, yeah, especially in this wide receiver class. Come on, now.

Speaker 44636.7s - 4646s

Man, you take the unit that we already have when you add Jvonne Baker and Luke McCaffrey to it. Hey, let's play some football. Now we're cooking with gas. We're keeping seven wide receivers. Let's go. Let's play some football. Yeah. All right with gas. We're keeping seven wide receivers. Let's go.

Speaker 64649.98s - 4652.82s

Let's play some football. Yeah. All right. We got two pick. Well, we got one pick left because 197 is reserved for Kendall Milton PERSON so we can fill the dog quota.

Speaker 44654.12s - 4658.38s

We're really doing that. We have to. There's no. I don't think there's any more dogs available.

Speaker 64659.5s - 4662.3s

Linebacker next pick for me. Okay, let's see what we got.

Speaker 44664.02s - 4681.04s

All right. Show me linebackers. Okay, let's see what we got. All right, show me linebackers. Okay, we got our choice of Tyron Hopper, Michael Barrett, Curtis Jacobs PERSON, Atheniel Watson, Jalen Ford, Defuana Ulofogio PERSON. That's someone I've liked to take for sure. I think he's interesting.

Speaker 64682.5s - 4684.68s

A, you pronounce his name just now.

Speaker 44685.14s - 4689.04s

Is it really wrong?

Speaker 64689.5s - 4692.22s

It is, yeah, it's not good.

Speaker 44692.66s - 4701.9s

I failed and I don't want to. I don't want to try it again. I'm good. I'm good. Yeah, it's, that's one of the more intimidating names. I just try to get through it as fast as Paul PERSON.

Speaker 64701.9s - 4738.78s

Absolutely. Yeah. But yeah, we could consider him. I don't know what, which guys do you like? I like Jaylen Ford here. Really good size, 6-3-240, physical linebacker. Does have some tendencies of getting washed out of certain plays, but I think that's mainly because of his positioning prior to contacting opposing linemen and things of that nature, kind of sort of taking himself out of certain plays, but I think that's mainly because of his positioning prior to contacting opposing linemen and things of that nature, kind of sort of taking himself out of the play at times. But I like the potential here. And you're not looking for, you're not looking for a refriying product this late in the draft.

Speaker 44738.78s - 4744.6s

You're just looking for someone that you, that has a few traits that you can mold and,

Speaker 64744.6s - 4747.46s

and help elevate. yeah let's do it

Speaker 44747.46s - 4751.82s

i like jenn PERSON for too he's interesting for sure i think he's i think he's one of those guys it's just

Speaker 64751.82s - 4755.88s

going to be like on your roster like he may never be a starter but like he's just gonna be yeah

Speaker 44755.88s - 4760.88s

like um you're just you can always find a place for him because he's going to play special teams

Speaker 64760.88s - 4768.04s

and right he's going to play special teams and next thing you know you, he's had eight, nine years in the league on your team,

Speaker 44768.3s - 4770.9s

and he's just been kept over and over and over again.

Speaker 54771.02s - 4772.52s

So I can see that for him as well.

Speaker 64772.9s - 4773.06s

Yeah.

Speaker 54773.5s - 4773.74s

Oh, yeah.

Speaker 64773.76s - 4779.4s

I think someone brought up that Zion Logue from Georgia ORG, the defensive tackle also is available.

Speaker 44783s - 4786.72s

We don't have to fill the dog quota, Eric PERSON. If you want to go against the paradigm,

Speaker 64787.48s - 4789.04s

I'm gone. I do.

Speaker 44790.04s - 4790.34s

I know,

Speaker 74790.42s - 4790.56s

no,

Speaker 44790.62s - 4791.18s

I do.

Speaker 74791.48s - 4792.2s

And honestly,

Speaker 44792.38s - 4795.92s

I find myself doing that a lot more often when I do these moks.

Speaker 64795.92s - 4798.9s

I find myself taking at least one dog,

Speaker 44798.9s - 4800.3s

whether it's Camarie Lasseter PERSON,

Speaker 74800.7s - 4802.92s

whether it's Javon Bullitt or Tyke PERSON.

Speaker 04804.56s - 4805.72s

But I'll tell you this.

Speaker 44805.9s - 4810.14s

When I asked about Ladd earlier, bro, I love Ladd Mokke PERSON in this office.

Speaker 64810.26s - 4810.86s

Yeah, I do too.

Speaker 44810.96s - 4814.88s

I think he'd be super fun. I just feel like they never have to trade up. Yeah.

Speaker 64814.88s - 4821.4s

He will be, to me, he would be better than hookah in this particular scheme with this quarterback.

Speaker 44822.86s - 4823.96s

He's really good.

Speaker 64824.8s - 4825.58s

I'm that high.

Speaker 44825.78s - 4829s

I don't want Lad to fall to Kansas City, for the love of God. Oh, God.

Speaker 64829.78s - 4831.72s

Nightmare. Nightmare material right there.

Speaker 44832.28s - 4839.54s

No, the Kansas City is going to get A.D. Mitchell PERSON, and it's just going to be like, wow. Wow, I can't believe we allowed to have.

Speaker 64840.04s - 4844.16s

Just don't let them get Ladd or Xavier worthy. They can have whoever else they want.

Speaker 44844.28s - 4847.08s

Just those two don't let them go to get to see.

Speaker 64847.08s - 4849.24s

We can just, you know, phone it in after that.

Speaker 44849.54s - 4850.68s

Yeah, definitely.

Speaker 64850.72s - 4850.88s

Yeah.

Speaker 44851.4s - 4854.22s

But we want to go Kendall Milton PERSON here?

Speaker 64854.34s - 4855.6s

I'm good with Kendall Middleman PERSON, man.

Speaker 44855.84s - 4857.02s

We want to fill the dog quota.

Speaker 64857.36s - 4863.12s

I mean, we got to fill the dog quota. I mean, and with that Rams offense, they've had three running backs,

Speaker 44863.22s - 4867.44s

three solid running backs, pretty much the entirety of McVaughan PERSON. Kendall Milton PERSON is actually a good player.

Speaker 64867.64s - 4880.14s

I'm not like no slander, no slander whatsoever intended towards Kendall Milton PERSON. But yeah, he, you know, he's a good pass blocker, play special teams, you know, he can do all that stuff. And that's going to get him on the field.

Speaker 44880.5s - 4886.3s

Yeah, so no problems whatsoever. We'll fill the dog quota. We'll get Kendall Milton PERSON here. We haven't sent him to the Falcons ORG before. That's dope.

Speaker 74886.84s - 4887.72s

And that'll wrap us up.

Speaker 64887.84s - 4891.72s

But yeah, Eric PERSON, really, really fun mock.

Speaker 44891.82s - 4896s

I appreciate you coming on and stick it with us for the long show.

Speaker 54897.82s - 4932.32s

And, yeah, come and join us as we break down this draft and have a good time. I know Eric will be very busy with his ESPN ORG duties during the draft, but I'm sure we'll have you on sometime in the coming weeks to break it down as the dust clears.

Speaker 64992.76s - 4995.88s

But you got to break down this class no matter how it looks.

Speaker 44996.3s - 5000.16s

Yeah. It's going to be good. I maintain. It's going to be positive.

Speaker 65000.7s - 5002.84s

Yeah. I think it'll be great.

Speaker 75003.88s - 5045.66s

Apparently PFF simular does not understand the dog quota. They give that Kendall Milton pick an F, you know. So they don't, they don't respect it. They don't respect the dog quota, you know. PFF, why are you booing me? I'm right, you know. Yeah, they don't know anything. These guys, you know, the nerds. But, yeah, this, this draft gets a B plus, which is, you know, I don't really care at all what PFF thinks about my draft but you mean given how the off season is gone given how the off season is going adding a B plus draft I would say this is a pretty successful yeah that's actually how it goes yeah I mean um you know Latu lot to at 13 is an A plus so you know as it should be that's all that's round pick. You get an A plus with that first round pick, then.

Speaker 65045.9s - 5046.94s

That's pretty much it.

Speaker 45047.1s - 5049.42s

And then, you know, Nubin and Rakeshra PERSON on A-M-A-minus.

Speaker 65049.78s - 5052.34s

And I think Javon Baker PERSON is to steal with a class.

Speaker 55052.64s - 5054.58s

Yeah, I mean, he's very exciting.

Speaker 65054.94s - 5058.8s

So, guys, thank you guys so much for tuning in real quick.

Speaker 45058.94s - 5080.24s

Let me read you some final comments from we got Jason Gaines with the $2. Says, shout out to matt ryan for an excellent career next stop for ryan is canton and then and the pro football hall of fame fun fact matt rind is the only qadian NFL ORG history to throw for at least three passing touchdowns and four consecutive playoff games yes shout out to matt ryan he is

Speaker 65080.24s - 5085.86s

the goat uh for the falcons love him uh thank you. Thank you, Matt PERSON. Yes, thank you, Matt.

Speaker 45086.54s - 5089.2s

I'm sorry, I'm sorry we failed you, Matt PERSON.

Speaker 65089.74s - 5090.32s

We did.

Speaker 45090.52s - 5092s

You did everything that you could.

Speaker 65092.66s - 5095.36s

So, mad respect. Absolutely.

Speaker 55096.22s - 5099.88s

And then George talking about our third and fourth round decisions,

Speaker 45100.12s - 5119.6s

saying, you know, he would go with Cedric Van Pran at 74, and then he likes the idea of sweat in the fourth. I think young people are allowed to make mistakes, and the DUI will humble him and make him hungry. And Eric PERSON, he also wants to know just your overall thoughts on sweat. You know, without the DUI and everything, what do you think about Favandre PERSON's sweat in general?

Speaker 65120.06s - 5154.1s

I think he's a monster. I, I, what he, what we saw from him, um, during pre-draft workouts was, what he, what we saw from him, um, during pre-draft workouts was it just, it solidified everything that you saw on tape. This dude is,he, he plays a particular position that's kind of sort of getting phased out of the NFL ORG to an extent, but his ability with his size, like you can't teach that. You just have to be naturally gifted and he is. And I hope this DUI thing is not something that trulyvarnishes his draft stock to the point where we see him there in round four. He's not around for a talent.

Speaker 45154.34s - 5155.92s

No. No. At all.

Speaker 65156.56s - 5164.12s

So hopefully he lands on the team. One, that's not the NFC South LOC because I don't want to play that twice here. I already got to deal with Derek Brown PERSON.

Speaker 75165.44s - 5166.24s

And Vita Vea. I'm good. I don't need another big because I don't want to play that twice here. I already got to deal with Derek Brown. And Vita Vaya PERSON.

Speaker 65166.42s - 5169.74s

I'm good. I don't need another beefy notes.

Speaker 45169.92s - 5170s

I don't need more of that.

Speaker 75171.12s - 5171.56s

Please.

Speaker 45172.28s - 5174.84s

But yeah, sweat has the juice, man.

Speaker 65175.14s - 5177.42s

I like him. It's going to be interesting to see where he lands.

Speaker 45177.98s - 5196.04s

Yeah, for sure. Yeah, thanks, George, as well for your contributions. And then we have Corey with the $2 saying, I'm very excited about the offensive packages we're going to be able to put together after we draft Michael Pennix at 8. You know, Corey PERSON?Corey PERSON just dropped that bomb in here. Thank you, Corey PERSON. I do think the Falcon's interest in Pennix PERSON is genuine.

Speaker 65196.62s - 5207.68s

I think I just don't think they're considering drafting him at 8. That's all. And I think the only players, in my opinion, I think they will be...

Speaker 05207.68s - 5239s

Philip has just lost the respect of the Youth League ORG football team he coaches. He was asked what New England should do in the draft, and his answer was objectively terrible. The athletic just wrote a great article about this. But Philip doesn't have the athletic or the respect of a boisterous group of 11-year-olds who once looked up to him.Learn from Philip's error. Get the athletic and get the info you need to speak draft fluently. Without the ones like you

Speaker 25239s - 5270.5s

who work tirelessly to keep things running, everything would suddenly stop. Hospitals, factories, schools, and power plants, they all depend on you. No matter the weather, emergency, or time of day, you're the ones who get it done. At Granger PERSON, we're here for you with professional-grade industrial supplies. Count on real-time product availability and fast delivery.Call, clickgranger.com, or just stop by. Granger PERSON, for the ones who get it done of course if hypothetically

Speaker 65270.5s - 5279.06s

if jaden Daniels fall to eight they may consider it but there's no way in hell that's going to happen would you be mad if they took neighbors

Speaker 45279.06s - 5284.44s

the Falcons ORG absolutely not I would not be mad at all not in the fullest

Speaker 65284.44s - 5287.98s

the first five minutes or so, I might be like, why do they do this?

Speaker 45287.98s - 5290.84s

And then after I watch more of the tape, I'm like,

Speaker 65290.84s - 5293.8s

we just got the steal of the draft. Like, I just,

Speaker 45294.4s - 5295.92s

I'll talk myself out of it.

Speaker 65296.1s - 5296.2s

Oh,

Speaker 45296.2s - 5302.56s

yeah, no, I, no, I, Neighbors to me is like wide receiver twoand like a top five player in this class. So, yeah,

Speaker 55302.56s - 5304.2s

I mean,

Speaker 45304.26s - 5308.82s

yeah, I would not be at all upset if neighbors is there and they're like, we just have to take neighbors.

Speaker 05309.06s - 5312.74s

You know, I think they would be a little bit more willing to trade with a Dunezay PERSON there

Speaker 55312.74s - 5316.5s

just because I feel like there's a little bit of skill set overlap with him in London.

Speaker 65317.24s - 5324.28s

Whereas they make like, neighbors is like the perfect compliment, like the perfect compliment. Tammuni, Tammuni and Rondale PERSON. Oh, my God.

Speaker 45324.56s - 5329.84s

Yeah, it's just like London and like you add Malik PERSON neighbors in there too and it's like,

Speaker 65329.84s - 5334.76s

oh my God with Kyle Pitts PERSON and I was like, this is like terrifying. So like, I mean, yes. Like you just do it.

Speaker 45334.76s - 5338.8s

Oh, guess what? They're still throwing past with the Bejan PERSON. Oh, this is. Yeah.

Speaker 75338.8s - 5343.7s

So I mean, I don't think, I think he's going to go like top six.

Speaker 65344.18s - 5351.68s

But if he's there, that that's definitely one guy they're going to have to stop and consider. Like, do we really want to trade away the chance to do?

Speaker 05351.68s - 5355.08s

Do we actually want to trade this guy?

Speaker 65355.46s - 5361.26s

So he's, he, his movement skills are rare.

Speaker 05361.88s - 5363.16s

They are truly rare.

Speaker 45363.8s - 5369.04s

So, you know, I can't, I can't argue with that you know i can't so uh really really

Speaker 65369.04s - 5375.68s

interesting stuff there uh robert kelly oh yeah i know we had this asked earlier uh thoughts on tray hendricksson

Speaker 45375.68s - 5391.04s

uh yes absolutely let's do it hey man look absolutely um i've it what's my model kevin it never hurts to make the call yep to just

Speaker 65391.04s - 5395.44s

have a conversation call us up let's do it let's do it let's make this happen you got the pull to

Speaker 45395.44s - 5404.46s

trigger no one said you got to discuss trade talks but just a hey man how's the family yeah oh by the

Speaker 65404.46s - 5407.7s

way this trade hendricks andson PERSON thing, what's up with that?

Speaker 45407.78s - 5408.88s

Like, it doesn't hurt to make that phone.

Speaker 65409s - 5414.64s

After we trade down and pick up that extra second and we have two thirds, you know, maybe we just be like,

Speaker 45414.68s - 5417.98s

hey, we've got all these day two picks. We might be able to send you one.

Speaker 65418.14s - 5422.18s

You know, you send Tray Hendrickson PERSON over here. We send a third round pick your way. Right.

Speaker 45422.28s - 5426.76s

We'll take that 15 million cap off your hands, you know. Yeah. Everybody wins. We'll take care of15 million cap off your hands. You know, everybody wins.

Speaker 65426.76s - 5427.76s

We'll take care of that price.

Speaker 75427.76s - 5429.88s

And then at 13, we'll do what?

Speaker 65429.92s - 5432.64s

We'll take whoever we want.

Speaker 75432.82s - 5437.44s

We'll take Quinn on Mitchell PERSON and say, hey, life is good.

Speaker 45437.44s - 5439.9s

You can take Latu too and just like double up and actually have two.

Speaker 65440.14s - 5442.38s

You can have two good end rushers for the first time forever.

Speaker 45442.92s - 5443.18s

Right.

Speaker 65443.6s - 5444.9s

Never had this before.

Speaker 45445.06s - 5446.16s

We can do whatever we want.

Speaker 65446.28s - 5447.66s

It doesn't hurt and make the call.

Speaker 45448.02s - 5448.18s

Yeah.

Speaker 65448.36s - 5449.52s

So I'm definitely interested.

Speaker 45449.7s - 5451.76s

I doubt it happens just because.

Speaker 65452.22s - 5458.28s

I doubt it happens too, but my thing is this, given what we heard as far as what they wanted to pay DeNeil Hunter PERSON.

Speaker 45458.82s - 5459.04s

Yeah.

Speaker 65459.94s - 5460.68s

I can't look.

Speaker 45462.04s - 5463.88s

It's well within your price range.

Speaker 65464s - 5464.24s

Yes.

Speaker 45464.9s - 5467.74s

And I think a lot of people think the Falcons ORG are out of cap space.

Speaker 65468.4s - 5471.12s

They haven't even begun to make cap space yet.

Speaker 45471.12s - 5473.24s

Like they have not done anything.

Speaker 65474.3s - 5496.66s

Like, yes, they're out of cap space on paper, but they have the ability to clear basically whatever they want. I guarantee you if you ask Grady PERSON and Jake to shave off a little bit of their salary and restructured to bring in a guy like Hendrickton PERSON, I guarantee you they'll say, sure.I'll do it.

Speaker 45497.5s - 5499.88s

Yeah, if they extend Terrell PERSON,

Speaker 65499.96s - 5501.04s

they can clear a ton of money.

Speaker 45501.58s - 5507.54s

If they do a couple of simple restructures, they could clear like $30 million. I mean, this is not like they had, they can make money.

Speaker 75508.14s - 5512.64s

Yeah, there's still a couple players that they can let go and save some money as well.

Speaker 65512.72s - 5513.84s

Yeah, quite a few.

Speaker 45513.84s - 5519.98s

So, you know, they, they, I think they're wise to not make the money unless they need to, certainly,

Speaker 65520.22s - 5521.4s

which is why they haven't done it.

Speaker 45521.54s - 5526.6s

But if, if, if, if Tray Hendrickson PERSON walks in the door, like, yes, they can absolutely make that work.

Speaker 65526.9s - 5527.7s

And they can sign them,

Speaker 45527.8s - 5529.84s

they'll sign them to a new deal that it'll lowers cap it too.

Speaker 55530.12s - 5532.76s

And what better way to let,

Speaker 65532.88s - 5535.8s

to remind New Orleans GPE of their blunder?

Speaker 55536.4s - 5536.8s

That's,

Speaker 45536.9s - 5538.76s

that's why I want to do it more than anything, really.

Speaker 65539.36s - 5541.5s

Oh, yeah, you just lost like three offensive linemen.

Speaker 45541.7s - 5543.72s

We're trading for Trey Hendrickson today.

Speaker 05543.92s - 5552.02s

Like the day your lineman retires, actually, Trey Anderson PERSON, come come come on over yeah you want to stick it to those guys buddy yeah it's the

Speaker 65552.02s - 5556.92s

full circle but eric always a blast to talk to you uh reminds me the old days it i guess tomorrow

Speaker 05556.92s - 5561.98s

would make it eight years since our first ever of alcoholic live so hey man i want to give you the

Speaker 65561.98s - 5567.14s

congratulations you deserve all of it because of your ability to keep this train rolling

Speaker 05567.14s - 5569.24s

throughout everything that's going on over the years.

Speaker 65570.32s - 5583.14s

This has definitely been a successful aspect within the Falcons ORG community, within the Falcons fan base, and I want to give you your flowers, Kevin PERSON. You did a hell of a job with this show, and you continued to do a hell of a job with this show.

Speaker 45583.78s - 5584.74s

Thank you so much, Eric PERSON.

Speaker 65584.74s - 5589.9s

I couldn't have gotten through those first two years of like single and double digit viewers without your help.

Speaker 45590.14s - 5594.22s

So, uh, you know, those long days on Facebook live, uh, with like eight.

Speaker 75594.22s - 5595.7s

Yeah. Oh my God.

Speaker 65595.9s - 5597.36s

You got to grind through those days.

Speaker 55597.52s - 5599.08s

There is a light at the end of the tunnel, folks.

Speaker 65599.26s - 5603.32s

You know, you can see it. But, uh, yeah, we, we had to get through that. I don't even have, use my Facebook ORG.

Speaker 45603.5s - 5603.7s

Yeah.

Speaker 65603.82s - 5609s

I don't even know what that is anymore. I don't even know if that exists. But yeah, it would come a long way.

Speaker 05609.36s - 5615.78s

But I'm glad to see you were able to parlay that into your own production career as well.

Speaker 75616.06s - 5617.9s

So very happy to see that.

Speaker 05618.06s - 5639.76s

And it's always great to have you on. And I'm sure we'll have you on again soon. But guys, thank you so much for joining us for our final pre-draft show. We'll see you guys tomorrow night, 745 for round one of the 2024 NFL draft. I'm Kevin PERSON. I have a foul call.Kevin, he's Eric Robinson at underscore Eric underscore Robinson PERSON. And he was on Niketjad say, which way he'll be back tomorrow too.

Speaker 45640.2s - 5655.16s

But thank you guys for hanging out with us. Thank you for surviving this draft season. The light is right there. One more sleep, as the kids say. And we will be here 745 tomorrow to break down this NFL ORG draft. Thank you guys so much.Have a great night, folks.

Speaker 05657.44s - 5686.84s

Craig PERSON is usually a fan of water cooler talk. But it's draft season. And that's all anyone wants to talk about. The athletic has loads of articles about this it's draft season and that's all anyone wants to talk about. The athletic has loads of articles about this year's draft, but Greg PERSON doesn't have the athletic, so nowhe's filling up his water bottle in the bathroom's sink. Which, to remind you, is the sink people use after they use the bathroom. Get the athletic andget the info you need to speak draft fluently.
