Speaker 10s - 4.3s

The Dana Cortez Show ORG podcast begins now.

Speaker 46.54s - 9.42s

How many homebodies listening right now love to order their groceries?

Speaker 69.76s - 10.58s

Just like me.

Speaker 110.68s - 11.78s

Let's talk about it on Wednesday.

Speaker 611.96s - 12.24s

Good morning.

Speaker 112.34s - 13.08s

It's the Dana Cortez PERSON.

Speaker 613.2s - 16.54s

So, what's up, everyone? I'm Dana Cortez PERSON. DJ Automatic PERSON. I go back to the 8.

Speaker 416.7s - 19.74s

So yesterday, I'm making breakfast for dinner.

Speaker 619.96s - 31.56s

And I realized I didn't have any homemade tortillas in a casa house. So I tell my husband DJ Automatic, who 10 minutes before had just told me, we need to get out of the house. I ask him, can you go get tortillas for me? And he says, it's too far.

Speaker 331.76s - 32.8s

I'm like, well, okay.

Speaker 733.04s - 35.04s

We need to get out of the house or what are we doing here?

Speaker 335.04s - 37.02s

That was my way of saying, I don't want to run your errands.

Speaker 737.06s - 41.42s

The other thing is my idea of a good time is not going in the grocery store and getting tortillas.

Speaker 441.56s - 45.62s

Which is why I order our groceries most of the time, which you push back on.

Speaker 745.7s - 47.14s

You don't like to order the groceries.

Speaker 447.42s - 48.22s

I like them delivered.

Speaker 748.48s - 51.88s

I think online ordering the groceries is kind of iffy because when they deliver,

Speaker 451.98s - 52.92s

they always mess up to order.

Speaker 353.02s - 56.02s

So you end up with like 30 bananas, dog.

Speaker 456.22s - 57.84s

Literally that has happened to us before.

Speaker 357.94s - 59.08s

We had 30 bananas.

Speaker 459.62s - 63.44s

I ordered two bananas and they bought me two bunches of bananas.

Speaker 664.06s - 65.16s

They had a dozen and eat.

Speaker 465.24s - 67.42s

We had 24 bananas out there on the counter.

Speaker 768.12s - 69.94s

But like, okay, also like that's...

Speaker 469.94s - 70.72s

And I felt bad.

Speaker 770.78s - 72.56s

I tipped the woman because I don't think she's fucking...

Speaker 472.56s - 76.28s

I also feel like going to, like when you go and they pull up to like the little pickup

Speaker 676.28s - 79.54s

area at the grocery store and you open up the back of your car and I just put them in

Speaker 479.54s - 79.66s

there.

Speaker 679.72s - 83.14s

I think that's sketch as well too. Do you not feel like the laziest person in the world?

Speaker 783.32s - 95.3s

If you have the energy to drive to the grocery store, park your car, pop your trunk, and then just, and then like let them put them in the back. Get your butt out of the car. Go in and get them yourself. I wouldn't say it was

Speaker 695.3s - 100.26s

really like lazy, but I do say anytime I have a person loading up meat from the back of me, I feel

Speaker 4100.26s - 106.28s

violated. What? So that's how I don't automatic said aunt He's like, now I feel like I need to tip this person. Oh, not.

Speaker 7106.28s - 107.58s

I feel obligated to tip.

Speaker 6107.86s - 108.1s

No.

Speaker 7108.26s - 115.2s

And so I sit in the car and he goes into the grocery store. I like using her grocery cart. And guess what? I'm one of the people who puts it back.

Speaker 3115.34s - 116.16s

Oh, my gosh.

Speaker 0116.26s - 117.98s

But that's a whole other conversation, okay?

Speaker 6118.2s - 120.04s

All right, National Day, Anthony A.

Speaker 3120.16s - 124.44s

All right, let's go to kick it off with National Coconut Cream Pie Day EVENT.

Speaker 6124.56s - 125.5s

One of my favorites.

Speaker 0125.82s - 127.32s

You know where they make the best one?

Speaker 7127.7s - 128.4s

Golden Corral ORG.

Speaker 6128.6s - 129.4s

The buffet.

Speaker 0129.66s - 130.22s

Not kidding.

Speaker 6130.38s - 130.72s

Not kidding.

Speaker 7131.38s - 134.08s

We also got National Receptionist Day, so shout out to all the receptionist.

Speaker 3134.26s - 134.82s

Hey, shout out to you.

Speaker 6134.98s - 136.1s

Yeah, you're the face of the company.

Speaker 4136.26s - 137.5s

You're very, very important.

Speaker 6137.62s - 137.98s

Thank you.

Speaker 3138.04s - 140.22s

And it's also a national bike and roll to school day.

Speaker 6140.28s - 142.84s

So if you have a pedal bike today's the day to break it out and do so.

Speaker 4142.92s - 144.16s

Did you guys use to ride your bike to school?

Speaker 6144.22s - 145.8s

Dude, that was always the best. Oh, I loved it.

Speaker 7145.8s - 150.22s

I got lost one time. I never was allowed to go to school. But my stuff. Dana PERSON were getting lost.

Speaker 4150.5s - 155.44s

Never. And let's go ahead to wrap it up on National Night Shift Workers Day.

Speaker 6155.56s - 161.44s

All the People were going to Graveyard Shift. What up, though. It's so scary. I used to be the graveyard shift worker at a

Speaker 4161.44s - 172.7s

convenience store called All-Sups ORG. Shout up to the Chimichanga. Do your Googles PRODUCT. It's world famous. And I was scared. Sometimes I think people are going to go in and rob me. But I was always really nice.So I went without getting robbed.

Speaker 6173s - 174.96s

I was going to say, you never got robbed.

Speaker 7175.12s - 175.32s

Never.

Speaker 1175.46s - 178.6s

It's very own brand that you would work at a place that's famous for Chimichangas.

Speaker 4180.52s - 182.34s

Really, Google Allsum's Chimichangas PRODUCT.

Speaker 6182.72s - 184.8s

The Dana Cortez Show ORG podcast.

Speaker 1185.66s - 186.92s

Today's crazy crimes of passion.

Speaker 6187.08s - 188.88s

We're going to talk about a woman named Teresa Nour PERSON,

Speaker 4189.06s - 211.8s

but let's go back in time when she was first born in Sacramento in 1946. Her parents, they both raised her, but her father was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and lost a job on a dairy farm when she was about 10 years old. And then her mother, who had a heart condition, died in Teresa's arms when she was only 15. Oh man, tough. Yeah. So dad lost the house. Shortly after that,

Speaker 6211.92s - 218.24s

Teresa at age 16, married a man. 21 years old, his name was Clyde Sanders PERSON, gave birth to two

Speaker 4218.24s - 310.44s

children, including a daughter she named Sheila, and then killed her husband. Oh. Teresa PERSON claimed it was self-defense, but the town was like, we don't remember any kind of abuse, and Clay PERSON was shot in the back. Now, Teresa PERSON was acquitted of the murder. She got married two more times and was having an affair with her third husband's best friend named Robert Noor PERSON. Married Robert Knorr, had another daughter named Sheila PERSON.I have to tell you, Teresa PERSON just became a drunk. She was leaving the kids with every man that was in and out of her life and was abusive not only to the men, but extremely abusive to the children. Robert Noor PERSON ended up leaving her because he said he could not stand it. The situation was too volatile. He tried to see the kids, but she just wouldn't allow him to see the children.Once she was alone with these kids, the abuse got worse. She started stabbing them, burning them with cigarettes, handcuffing two of her daughters to the dining table, forcing them to wear mouth gags. Now we're going to move fast forward to July 16, 1984. All the children recall she went on this rampage. And Suzanne PERSON, who was, remember, she was handcuffed under the table, was let loose. And then she told her youngest daughter, Terry PERSON, to hold a gun that was loaded and said,if Suzanne PERSON moves, you shoot her. Now, Terry was young, and she got kind of nervous, and she shot Suzanne PERSON accidentally. Oh. So instead of Teresa PERSON taking this little girl to the hospital, she tied her once again underneath the dining table, handcuffed her, and was mad at her for bleeding on the floor. The little girl is begging her. Please help me, please help me. She threw in a bathtub and left her there shot with a

Speaker 1310.44s - 349.26s

bullet in the back. The girl survived. Now, I have no idea. While she's unconscious, the mother Teresa, dug the bullet out with a knife. Suzanne PERSON developed sepsis, which is a terrible infection. The mom thought she was dead, so she told her sons, Robert and William PERSON, take her and all her things, douse them in gasoline, and burn them. And she was left on the side of the road. It was later found out that she was alive while her brothers burned her. She was only 17. The body was found by police and marked as a Jane Doe. Now Suzanne PERSON's dead, Teresadirected her anger towards her daughter Sheila PERSON, forcing her into prostitution to support the family.

Speaker 7349.46s - 350.46s

This woman is a psycho.

Speaker 4350.8s - 372.12s

She then accused Sheila PERSON of giving her an STD. She believed she contracted from the toilet, which is impossible. She hogtied her, beat her, shoved her into closet, where Sheila died on July 21, 1985. She left her there for three days and only removed her body because she couldn't stand to smell anymore. Once again, directing her sons,Robert and William PERSON, to take the body, put it in a cardboard box, and throw it near the airport.

Speaker 7372.42s - 374s

The brothers are also psychos too.

Speaker 4374.28s - 380.18s

Yeah, they gotta be like a little bit. You think? They've been beaten and abused their entire lives, stabbed.

Speaker 7380.42s - 382.4s

And basically raised by a rabid dog.

Speaker 4382.52s - 422.26s

Yes. So Terry PERSON manages to run away, the youngest daughter. She told police, they didn't believe her. She told therapist, nobody believed her. Finally, this is years later. Okay, this woman's still free. The bodies are still marked as Jane Does. She decides to call America's Most Wanted WORK_OF_ART. This is an old TV show that would solve crime. America's Most Wanted WORK_OF_ART aired her call. And that's how police finally connected the sons and Teresa ran forensics on that apartment where the body of Suzanne PERSON had been in the closet for daysand days and found a DNA connection. They arrested the sons first. And then they finally found Teresa like two months later. And she denied everything. And then she found out the sons were,

Speaker 7422.44s - 427s

they told everything about their mother. Rightfully so. This is actually Teresa's son, William Norr PERSON.

Speaker 4427.12s - 429.6s

He was asked, why didn't you tell before? Here was his answer.

Speaker 2429.78s - 444.98s

If you weren't guilty of this, why didn't you come forward? You know, you've had 10 years to come forward. Why didn't you come forward? And the obvious clear answer was, look at what happened to the people who did. Susan PERSON tried to come forward. She had gotten herself with child protective services.

Speaker 6450.26s - 458.46s

And she's dead. So I just went about trying to live my life. He was afraid. Which from like the outside looking in is kind of confusing but I guess if that's all you were raised around and it's all you knew. If your mom's offing everyone at some point, you're going to be like, you know what? I'm

Speaker 7458.46s - 462.76s

just going to get out of here. It does sound crazy, but it's survival mode. You just want to live.

Speaker 4463.1s - 465.7s

This is Robert Knore PERSON during the trial.

Speaker 7466.12s - 469.48s

I hope you've burning hell what you did in my kids, woman.

Speaker 4470.12s - 474.4s

Having to know that your children endured all of that suffering for years and years,

Speaker 1474.52s - 477s

and the murder went unresolved for years and years,

Speaker 4477.42s - 486.24s

Terry PERSON is the youngest daughter. She's the one that finally got justice for her sisters. Here's what she had to say in an interview with America's Most Wanted WORK_OF_ART.

Speaker 0486.24s - 497.06s

I just want my sisters to know that I had nothing to do with this and I love them. And they're gone now and I don't have them. And I want them back.

Speaker 4497.5s - 510.3s

Helpless is how she feels. She told and nobody listened to her. But finally they got justice. Teresa serving two consecutive life sentences right now at the California Institution for Women. She was denied parole in 2019. I hope she stays

Speaker 1510.3s - 517.62s

there for the rest of her life. The Dana Cortez Show podcast. Today's WTF story, we begin in Atlanta,

Speaker 4517.8s - 531.2s

Georgia. One woman in the middle of the night, she really needed hot wings. So she calls 911 PRODUCT. No, wait until you hear the call. Turn this up. I'm on the street. I was just wondering.

Speaker 3531.56s - 538.78s

Hey, that's not what 911 does. Okay. We have a good day. You too.

Speaker 0539.34s - 543.62s

911 operator, so calm. Sorry, you did the wrong number, girl, wrong number.

Speaker 3543.76s - 545.5s

I feel like that wasn't the first time this has happened.

Speaker 0545.98s - 552.82s

What's interesting to me. I started thinking about food. I'm not condoning this. I'm just saying 9-1-1. What's you calling for? Automatic.

Speaker 4553.18s - 564.12s

Donuts. That's good. I want to say my heart wants to say cheesecake, but there was one time on Christmas where I try to buy a cucumber. If you ever try to buy anything on Christmas, it's very hard, especially a cucumber on Christmas.

Speaker 7564.24s - 566.88s

I don't want to know why you were trying to buy a cucumber on Christmas.

Speaker 4568.2s - 569.4s

But what's your story?

Speaker 6569.64s - 570.68s

That might be the WTF.

Speaker 4570.68s - 574.64s

Hey, listen, dude, sometimes on the Lord's birthday, you need a peppino in your system, you know?

Speaker 3574.72s - 575.78s

I think that's like you say in Spanish LANGUAGE.

Speaker 6575.86s - 576.24s

I don't know.

Speaker 4576.44s - 578.38s

You just made it worse by saying in your system.

Speaker 6578.38s - 579.34s

You said peppino.

Speaker 4579.58s - 580.84s

All right, you know.

Speaker 6581.04s - 587.06s

We'll go from 911 calls about food to a mistaken baby swap in the UK GPE.

Speaker 7587.48s - 587.64s

What?

Speaker 6587.7s - 608.66s

A woman by the name of Macy ORG was a new mother to a newborn baby. And in the hospital, they made a mistake and gave her the wrong baby for 48 hours. What? She was holding the wrong kid. Oh. Oh.And you might think, how can this ever happen? But it's actually a little bit more common than you think. Here in America, out of four million babies that are born, about 28,000 of them are mistakenly swapped temporarily.

Speaker 4608.82s - 624.04s

I just read a story. This woman takes home a baby, and the baby looks African American NORP. And the husband keeps telling you cheated, you cheated. She said, no, no. They took a DNA test, and a baby wasn't his. So he left her.She said, there's no way she took a DNA test.

Speaker 3624.12s - 630.44s

The baby wasn't hers either. Oh. This went on for two years. Meanwhile, the African American NORP family had a white

Speaker 7630.44s - 645.34s

baby and a husband there was thinking the same damn thing. Sounds like a down in the DM. All right, we're going to take it to China GPE. There's a zoo in China and they've got a panda exhibit. And everyone is like, those don't look like real pandas. Well, they're not. They're chow chow's

Speaker 5645.34s - 651.66s

that are dyed to look like pandas. How do they figure it out? The dog started barking.

Speaker 7652.58s - 660.04s

Pandas don't bark. They're the great value version of the zoo. The Dana Cortez Show ORG podcast.

Speaker 5660.86s - 666.48s

Dave's just got real serious and a Drake versus Kendrick PERSON Beef Now there are shootings being reported

Speaker 3666.48s - 667.62s

Guns involved

Speaker 7667.62s - 669.32s

We got Toronto Police

Speaker 1669.32s - 670.9s

Audio will play for you right now

Speaker 7670.9s - 671.42s

This and more

Speaker 1671.42s - 672.74s

Best Gossip Daily Dirt

Speaker 3672.74s - 674.1s

Anthony PERSON A celebrity birthdays first

Speaker 4674.1s - 675.96s

We have 6'9 celebrating his birthday

Speaker 1675.96s - 676.56s

And if it's your birthday

Speaker 4676.56s - 677.06s

Happy birthday

Speaker 6677.06s - 678.94s

All right so let's start off time about Bad Bunny

Speaker 4678.94s - 702.5s

Spotted with ex-girlfriend Kendall Jenner Who was recently spotted with her ex-boyfriend Devin Booker PERSON. Anyway, they're at a MetGala FAC after party, seated very close to each other, sipping on beverages. Then it's back to the hotel time. Kendall Jenner enters first.Less than two minutes later, here comes Benito PERSON. Oh. I don't know if they're back together, but they definitely got back together for a night at least.

Speaker 6702.56s - 704.82s

Yeah, it's definitely a spring-fling season.

Speaker 4705.14s - 708.82s

Yeah, right. And it was another way for Kendall PERSON not to have another notch in the belt.

Speaker 7708.94s - 711.88s

You know, she'd already been there, so she's just looking for a little nightcap.

Speaker 4712.72s - 740.84s

That's funny, a little nightcap. Check the photos at Dana Cortez show on Instagram ORG. All right, so we're going to get serious. Drake versus Kendrick Beef PERSON. It's been so much fun getting all the music. Kendrick hasn't rapped like this. I don't know if he's ever rapped like this. It's incredible. Now, reportedly, there were shots fired outside of Drake PERSON's home. A security guard has been injured, shot in the chest. The man has a family. Toronto police gave the public an update. They're asked about the Drake Kendrick PERSON beef. Here was a response.

Speaker 5741.26s - 749.4s

I am aware of what you're talking about, but it is so early in the investigation that we don't have a motive at this time. And so I cannot comment further on that.

Speaker 4749.7s - 761.72s

Can't we just have fun? Can't this just be music? This sounds like a fan to me. I don't know for certain, but it sounds like somebody who's taking this literally. It's just music, and we're supposed to be here to have a good time.

Speaker 6761.72s - 764.82s

Do you think it could be like a PR move from Drake PERSON people since he lost the battle?

Speaker 4765.16s - 767.76s

No, no, there's no way that a man is in the hospital almost killed.

Speaker 6767.98s - 768.56s

Absolutely not.

Speaker 7768.66s - 769.54s

No, I don't think that.

Speaker 6769.64s - 770.14s

I think that.

Speaker 7770.14s - 773.6s

And that's part of the problem here is that people are trying to, oh, it's, it's Drake PERSON trying to do this.

Speaker 4773.64s - 776.42s

And it's Kendrick PERSON. This is serious. What if this man would have died?

Speaker 7776.6s - 787.68s

Well, I think at this point, we don't know what's going on. I don't know if it has anything to do with Kendrick PERSON or it's like a crazy fan or it's somebody who had a beef with Drake PERSON in another instance and said this is a perfect time to go get him.

Speaker 4788.06s - 802.24s

Taking sides is streaming. The one song artist over the other. It's not taking a gun and doing something stupid like this. I hope they catch whoever did it. Let's go to jail. All right. That's your daily dirt. We'll keep you posted as the story develops. The Dana Cortez Show ORG podcast.

Speaker 1803.04s - 805.24s

I love it when people get into it.

Speaker 3816.84s - 817.26s

You know what I'm saying?

Speaker 0817.32s - 818.18s

That's my favorite part.

Speaker 3819.14s - 824.06s

Okay, okay, Sierra PERSON, if you guess who's lying, obviously, you're going to win DCS

Speaker 4824.06s - 854.7s

merch, hoodies, t-shirts, crew necks. We need to be your favorite morning show, so you've got to get to know who we are. One of us is telling a lie. I'm going to begin the Tall Tales first. My name is Dana Cortez PERSON. And when I was little, I moved a lot.I was raised by my Nana, and she would follow my mom so we could have this great relationship, and it worked. And I went to over 20 schools. So I don't have a lot of close friends when I was little, but as I've gotten older, I've made so many great friends. And it taught me that I should be able to move around.Don't be scared. Go get the bag. And home really is where the heart is.

Speaker 7855.98s - 869.9s

DJ Automatic here, Sierra PERSON. I grew up in Minnesota GPE. I actually graduated high school from this place called Holy Rosary High School ORG. I went to college at the university in Minnesota GPE. And I'm actually the only person on the show who has a college degree. But until radio, I never really moved around. I just stayed in

Speaker 6869.9s - 881.38s

Minnesota GPE until then. Yo, what's up? Anthony A. and I attended three different colleges and I went to a school in New Jersey while I was there an intern for the New York Football Giants and actually got field access and would edit their practice footage for them.

Speaker 4881.58s - 886.08s

Ooh, Sierra PERSON, somebody is telling a lie. We're real liars. I can't even remember who it is.

Speaker 3886.14s - 891.6s

No, I'm just kidding. If you guess correctly, you get the DCS merch. Who's lying? I think automatic.

Speaker 4892.12s - 892.6s

You're right.

Speaker 7893.06s - 906.66s

You're right. I was born in Minnesota, but I moved to New Mexico when I was eight, and I've lived all over the country. I don't go to University of Minnesota ORG either. I went to University of New Mexico ORG. I am the only one with the college degree in here, though. I thought that was going to trip you up because we talk about that a country. I don't go to University of Minnesota either. I went to University of New Mexico ORG. I am the only one with the college degree in here, though.

Speaker 3906.78s - 909.66s

I thought that was going to trip you up, because we talk about that a lot.

Speaker 7909.78s - 911.94s

We always say, Otto PERSON's the only person with a degree.

Speaker 0911.94s - 912.8s

way to hear the beef between Mickey

Speaker 1960.28s - 962.96s

D's and who we'll talk about it in food news

Speaker 4962.96s - 964.6s

time of high to have tags here on your Wednesday

Speaker 3964.6s - 966.36s

what's up, everyone? I'm Dana Cortez PERSON.

Speaker 6966.46s - 969.32s

DJ Automatic. I go by Antri-A. A.k.a. Spicy ketchup.

Speaker 4969.56s - 1005.18s

Hi, yeah. It is first. Hotest hashtag TikTok ORG is suing the U.S. government saying the law President Biden signed last month is a violation of the First Amendment LAW and free speech.I understand that TikTok ORG doesn't want to be taken down. I don't even want them to. We're finally paying attention to our TikTok. What this law is saying is that the Chinese NORP government, the communist government who hates us, must sell their part of TikTok ORG. And then TikTok stays. Why is it so hard for people to understand that? We don't want the Chinese NORP government who hates the U.S. GPE to infiltrate our system and be able to spy on us, which is what

Speaker 71005.18s - 1012.72s

they're doing every day. Because Americans NORP like to be spoon fed their entertainment. And it's easy. And to think that much and go that deep into it is too much for most Americans NORP.

Speaker 41012.9s - 1017.56s

Which is why TikTok ORG is winning. And they're dumbing us down. Anyway, all right, food news, DJ

Speaker 71017.56s - 1036.3s

Automatic. McDonald's ORG has got beef. Beef with everyone. Uh-oh. So what they're doing is they're actually coming with a bigger and better burger for a cheaper price to take out their competitors. Here's an example of what I'm talking about. So you can go to Five Guys ORG right now and get a burger, fries, and soda, and it's going to cost you about $20 on average. What?

Speaker 31036.56s - 1044.26s

Okay. You go to McDonald's ORG where they're going to give you a bigger and better burger now. You can get the same thing, burger fries and a soda for $6.19.

Speaker 61044.94s - 1055.08s

Damn, dog. I love a good burger, bro. So I feel like I'm qualified to break this down. A five guys burger is good. Is it $25 burger? No. Not at all, bro. That's a lot for a hamburger.

Speaker 41055.08s - 1060.84s

I can make a barbecue for $25 of burgers and hot dogs. That's just wild right there.

Speaker 31060.94s - 1068.96s

The article that I read about all this really was pointing out how fast food prices are just becoming so much more expensive. Well, I think it's because people continue to eat

Speaker 41068.96s - 1071.66s

out. I feel like this article was written by Ronald McDonald PERSON himself, though.

Speaker 31072.34s - 1077.36s

Eat at home. Eat at home. And drive those prices down at McDonald's ORG and whatnot. But I will say,

Speaker 71077.36s - 1082.32s

I don't care what time a day or what time of night, at least a McDonald ORG's burger. It's always

Speaker 31082.32s - 1088.74s

consistent. All right, National Day, Anthony A. All right, let's go in and start with National Coconut Cream Pie Day EVENT, which is always consistent.

Speaker 71089.02s - 1091.74s

I'm more of like a banana cream pie person myself.

Speaker 61091.8s - 1092.18s

That's good.

Speaker 31092.38s - 1094.28s

I don't like coconut on my pies.

Speaker 41094.36s - 1095.24s

Oh, interesting.

Speaker 31095.4s - 1096.14s

It's not my favorite.

Speaker 41096.68s - 1099.02s

All right, that's a little insight right there, party pooper.

Speaker 61099.38s - 1104.3s

And we also have National Bike and Roll the School Day EVENT if you are pedaling your bike or if you're also on a scooter too.

Speaker 01104.38s - 1108.32s

Go ahead and do that as well. Or skateboard. There it is. If you ride a scooter to or if you're also on a scooter too go ahead and do that or skateboard there it is if you ride a scooter to school you're

Speaker 31108.32s - 1112.08s

going to get beat up don't do that hey scooters are cool now what are you talking about i love scooters

Speaker 61112.08s - 1114.98s

but i'm just telling there's somebody that's going to do something that's going to say something

Speaker 41114.98s - 1119.04s

you're going to get bullied don't do it it's not if you're doing backflips on them and there is

Speaker 71119.04s - 1123.5s

and we also have national receptionist day as well too shout out to all the receptionist's on

Speaker 61123.5s - 1127.62s

and let's go and wrap it up on National Night Shift Workers Day.

Speaker 71128.2s - 1130.86s

Anthony and I are pretty much night shift workers at this point.

Speaker 61130.92s - 1131.5s

Well, you say it like that.

Speaker 71131.54s - 1132.26s

It sounds like strippers.

Speaker 61133.64s - 1136.58s

I wish Otto PERSON would come home with some dollar bills like that.

Speaker 71137.92s - 1139.86s

No, but being a DJ, you're working in the night shift.

Speaker 61140.04s - 1142.58s

I mean, a lot of times I'm DJing past three, four in the boy.

Speaker 71142.58s - 1143.3s

You're right, you're right.

Speaker 31143.34s - 1146.34s

In comedy, yeah, lately, as of lately, I've been doing a lot of like midnight shows,

Speaker 71146.38s - 1148.44s

which is always wild because people are just too drunk.

Speaker 61148.56s - 1150s

And I was a convenience store worker.

Speaker 01150.12s - 1152s

Can we talk about what happens after 2 a.m.

Speaker 61152s - 1152.4s

To people.

Speaker 71152.64s - 1153.88s

What is wrong with you?

Speaker 11154s - 1155.42s

Nothing good happens after 2 a.m.

Speaker 31155.42s - 1156.36s

Remember your mama told you that.

Speaker 71156.42s - 1157.16s

Your mama was right.

Speaker 31157.34s - 1159.78s

Behave after 2 o'clock in the morning because...

Speaker 61159.78s - 1161.2s

Yeah, just fornication and felonies.

Speaker 31161.32s - 1161.68s

That's it.

Speaker 71162.64s - 1165.7s

The Dana Cortez Show ORG podcast.

Speaker 31168.86s - 1169.42s

Don't forget that this coming weekend is Mother's Day weekend.

Speaker 41172.08s - 1172.22s

So myself here, Dana Cortez, DJ Automatic, and Anthony PERSON,

Speaker 31174.4s - 1174.8s

and we're talking off mic about how much we love our moms.

Speaker 71176s - 1176.38s

I'm sure you love your mom too.

Speaker 31178.54s - 1178.62s

And there's things that moms do that are annoying,

Speaker 71179.94s - 1180.1s

but it's because they love us.

Speaker 31183.6s - 1183.7s

For instance, my mom loves to show me off when I go to town.

Speaker 11185.18s - 1185.6s

We come from a small town.

Speaker 41187.76s - 1188.28s

I was born in a tiny town in West Texas LOC.

Speaker 51193.24s - 1193.66s

And when she used to on a bar, she would put my name up on the marquee that I was coming to town, which is mortifying.

Speaker 01195.38s - 1195.72s

Now she just uses her Facebook page.

Speaker 71196.06s - 1197.06s

I know. I know.

Speaker 41197.28s - 1199.44s

You guys can ever find Dana PERSON's mom's Facebook page?

Speaker 71199.56s - 1200.82s

It's like a shrine.

Speaker 41200.82s - 1202.72s

It's a shrine to Dana Cortez PERSON.

Speaker 61202.72s - 1203.08s

Beautiful.

Speaker 41203.24s - 1203.78s

That's amazing.

Speaker 61203.96s - 1204.42s

It's embarrassing.

Speaker 41204.58s - 1206.12s

But I know she does that because she loves me. She's proud. Also, I like when I visit her that she babies me. Oh, that's like a shrine. It's a shrine. It's a shrine. Beautiful. That's amazing. It's embarrassing, but I know she does that because she loves me.

Speaker 61206.2s - 1206.66s

She's proud.

Speaker 41206.78s - 1209s

Also, I like when I visit her that she babies me.

Speaker 61209.34s - 1209.66s

Oh, that's cool.

Speaker 41209.66s - 1216.68s

I try to act like I don't like it, but she waits on me and she puts my towel out. I wake up in the morning and she's already making breakfast.

Speaker 61217.18s - 1224.86s

And I don't know how to explain it. Like, I feel like a little baby. That's fun. That's beautiful. And that's a great review of your mom's relationship with yourself. I think that's a way to say that.

Speaker 31224.98s - 1230.24s

For me, my mom's appreciation for rap music is something that I really admire.

Speaker 41230.68s - 1234.38s

And she, well, it's like, we always listen to rap and hip hop growing up.

Speaker 31234.54s - 1245.02s

And so it was always interesting to me to hear from my friends who were like, their parents hated that music and stuff like that. My mom was the opposite. My mom was always the one that she'd be like, I'd be like, I got this new LL Cool J.

Speaker 71245.02s - 1246.94s

Argetto Boys and she'd be like, put it on.

Speaker 61247.24s - 1247.58s

Yeah.

Speaker 01247.88s - 1249.04s

For me, I think with my mom.

Speaker 61249.04s - 1250.92s

Well, wait, hold, Anthony PERSON's mom tried to date Warren G.

Speaker 41251s - 1251.84s

So I understand that.

Speaker 71251.84s - 1252.24s

I remember that.

Speaker 61253.08s - 1255.06s

Yeah, it was always fun until it was.

Speaker 41255.24s - 1256.84s

It was always fun and it was always fun.

Speaker 61257.64s - 1260.06s

The thing I love about my mom is she always believed in me.

Speaker 41260.14s - 1264.18s

She was the one who really pushed me to DJ when my dad was, if you were listening earlier this

Speaker 61264.18s - 1267.12s

week, I talked about him always telling me to get a real job.

Speaker 41267.26s - 1269s

She was the one who actually, she helped me buy a mixer.

Speaker 31269.14s - 1270.2s

She helped me buy turntables.

Speaker 41270.38s - 1273.24s

She really just pushed me to pursue DJing.

Speaker 31273.32s - 1275.32s

And the other thing I love about her is she always answered the phone.

Speaker 41275.5s - 1276.98s

Whatever I need somebody to talk to.

Speaker 31277.28s - 1277.58s

Yes.

Speaker 41277.74s - 1279.66s

My mom's my second best friend besides my wife.

Speaker 61279.76s - 1280.34s

There it is.

Speaker 71280.62s - 1283.32s

So if you have the ability to call your mom today, do it, do it, do it.

Speaker 61283.32s - 1283.9s

Don't wait until Sunday.

Speaker 31284.16s - 1288.24s

I think you should because you should call mom every single day. Trust me, she'll appreciate it.

Speaker 71288.3s - 1291.34s

And like Automatic ORG said, that's why they answer the phone. They want you to call.

Speaker 31291.88s - 1293.96s

The Dana Cortez Show ORG podcast.
