Ooh, man, she must be talking about the guy she's with. Ooh, what does that mean? So Shaq did one of those moves, and it said, I'll do my best Shaq PERSON impression
Speaker 15125.36s - 126.68s
Have you ever done one?
Speaker 19126.7s - 127.08s
No
Speaker 15127.08s - 129.96s
I understand He said I understand
Speaker 14129.96s - 131.46s
You see him in here every Tuesday
Speaker 15131.46s - 132.98s
So you should be familiar
Speaker 14132.98s - 133.66s
I should be familiar
Speaker 15133.66s - 137.26s
He goes I wouldn't have been in love me either Wishing you all the best
Speaker 19137.26s - 162.08s
I wouldn't have been in love with me either Oh love Shack Yeah He was kind of bored when he said it And when he typed it And he had his tinted sunglasses on And he was sort of mumbling When he said it and when he typed it and he had his tinted sunglasses on.And he was sort of mumbling when he said it. I understand. So anyway, translation, because I don't know if you could hear in that lower octave, that lower decibel. All I heard was the vibration of the base. I understand I wouldn't have been in love with me either, wishing you all the best.
Speaker 21162.12s - 163.36s
What is that in regards to?
Speaker 5163.36s - 165.54s
I was like, ooh, what is that?
Speaker 19165.76s - 166.1s
Juicy, juicy.
Speaker 20166.98s - 167.96s
Juicy.
Speaker 19169.18s - 175.8s
So then, it didn't take much investigating because TMZ ORG was all over this and all the sports websites.
Speaker 21175.96s - 177.86s
We're talking Shaq PERSON, one of the most dynamic
Speaker 19177.86s - 180s
superhero personalities
Speaker 21180s - 183.96s
of the sports world, right? This was an investigation that did not require
Speaker 19183.96s - 185.32s
your John Stossel PERSON mustache. I didn't need to be some sort of web sleuth to figure this out. Then I realized, right? This was an investigation that did not require your John Stossel mustache.
Speaker 21185.62s - 187.26s
I didn't need to be some sort of web sleuth
Speaker 19187.26s - 245.68s
to figure this out. Then I realized, oh, it was a big story. According to his ex-wife, Shawnee PERSON, in undefeated, changing the rules and winningon my own terms, she's saying publicly that the lifestyle is what kept them together, not necessarily love, which is kind of sad. But again, he's saying, I understand. She's saying that she's unsure she loved him at all.Again, she has kids with him, she was married with him, the lifestyle kept him together. She said, I was in love with the idea of building a life together. I truly did enjoy spending time with him. NBA ORG road trips allowed me to be with my husband and experience the NBA life for a little while. And the excerpt got a lot of attention. Shacky PERSON went to social media to say he understood.I wouldn't love me either. So here's the question.
Speaker 21245.76s - 246.12s
I want to.
Speaker 15246.32s - 247.08s
He's taking the high road.
Speaker 21247.24s - 248.34s
But again, I got to rewind.
Speaker 15248.54s - 249.8s
Nurga PERSON the friggin flammy.
Speaker 21251.24s - 257.46s
Shack has also publicly discussed this and talked about how he blew it with her.
Speaker 0257.96s - 258.8s
He had it all.
Speaker 19259.26s - 307s
He had a mansion. He had kids. He had a family. This is all public information that he's spoken about. And, you know, he regrets the way he had a family. Now this is all public information that he's spoken about. And, you know, he regrets the way he treated the relationship and how he just sort of ruined the relationship.Takes full accountability. He said this on other podcasts, other shows publicly before. So he does take accountability there like that. He ruined his family. She since then got married. We married in 2022. And that's the backstory. Based on all this bossip that's in the news today because again she wentpublic and he responded publicly and she also said she was in it for the lifestyle kind of we pose this question fox sports radio nation do do. Do arrangements bother you.
Speaker 21307.76s - 308.4s
See it all the time.
Speaker 19308.4s - 311.88s
When you see some fat, oiled up dude on a yacht.
Speaker 21312.06s - 312.98s
Hello, my friend.
Speaker 19313.52s - 321.54s
And he's got bikini girls all around them. When you see athletes that aren't so good looking,
Speaker 21322.08s - 334.48s
but they got models on their arm. Hey, you can flip it if you see some old granny with a lot of money and some young hunk lurking around the corner. Are you okay with arrangements?
Speaker 19334.6s - 353.62s
There's a few ways to look at it though because sometimes it is less of an arrangement more of an attraction based on success or power and things. Like, there's still an attraction there. Whether or not Shawnee was in love with Shaq PERSON, I'm sure she was still attracted to him in some sort of way.
Speaker 21353.68s - 369.88s
He's not hideous. Yeah, he's Shaquille O'Neal PERSON. He's Uber ORG successful. He's a dynamic personality. He's a super talent, right? He's Shaq PERSON.I love Shaq PERSON. So I'm sure there's a respect there. But I'm saying if you see some dude with wrinkly
Speaker 19369.88s - 373.86s
old Puevo, it's like 80-something and some 30-year-old, 20-something-year-old girls
Speaker 21373.86s - 387.5s
with him. How do you know, you're just speculating because you think you're handsome Dan PERSON? How do you know she's not attracted to the lifestyle, meaning the power and success that he provides? We don't know. Women are less shallow than us sometimes. You know what I mean?
Speaker 19388.26s - 391.84s
It could be the fact that she's attracted to this guy's success.
Speaker 21392.18s - 400.54s
I don't know. We don't know. You're using success too much as a synonym for money. No.
Speaker 19401.18s - 422.84s
See, that's how you're projecting it and receiving the information. Maybe that success. You never saw a woman and you're like, I'm attracted to her because she's talented. Like, yeah, her talent makes her that much more attractive. You know, maybe it's one of those things. And we just assume as men, there's no way she likes this guy's wrinkly huevos. There's no way.
Speaker 14423.04s - 424.76s
Yeah, some people are attracted to power.
Speaker 19425s - 427.32s
It's the power. It's what he comes with, you know?
Speaker 14427.32s - 429.54s
He's still got to sleep with that person and see him naked.
Speaker 21429.76s - 433.92s
I'm just, I'm playing devil's advocate here just to broaden the conversation.
Speaker 14434.34s - 436.5s
Of course, I speculate and wonder those things too.
Speaker 21436.6s - 437.54s
But again, I'm not a woman.
Speaker 14437.62s - 438.6s
I don't think like a woman.
Speaker 21438.92s - 444.4s
And I don't perceive these older guys in that way. Well, if you're going to play devil's advocate, at least could you be Pacino PERSON?
Speaker 19445.36s - 447s
You think you're big time?
Speaker 21447.16s - 449.72s
I'll show you big time.
Speaker 19450.76s - 452.36s
Don't mind if I do.
Speaker 21452.5s - 453.06s
Or Keanu.
Speaker 19453.44s - 492.76s
No. But you know what? Here's the other side of the story, too, Fox Sports Radio Nation ORG. It's kind of sad when these things go public, but then again, there's gives and takes and pluses and minuses. Hey, my parents are Shaq and Shawnee PERSON.You have a pretty good life, right? But you also have to see their public love life get criticized. So much so that Sharif O'Neill PERSON posted on social media in response to his dad. Because Shaq PERSON went public with that, with the response. And Sharif PERSON said, I love you, man. You saved my life.Isn't that nice?
Speaker 0493.26s - 509.36s
He says literally the most lovable and likable person on the planet. So a lot of people went to Shaq PERSON's defense or speculated on this. And even his son got involved on the commentary. But again, we're going based on what his ex-wife said.
Speaker 19510.8s - 525s
That she was unsure if she loved him. And she kind of stayed in it for the lifestyle. Lifestyle could also mean they had a family together. But she does also say the experience of living an NBA ORG life. That's cool. A lot of what you're saying, I know you're playing devil's advocate, but a lot of living an NBA ORG life. That's cool.
Speaker 21525.06s - 528.1s
A lot of what you're saying, I know you're playing devil's advocate,
Speaker 0528.24s - 534.84s
but a lot of what you're saying is sort of code for you're providing a good life and money.
Speaker 36537.18s - 538.04s
It's the truth.
Speaker 19538.24s - 542.78s
I think she wanted to, look, not to dissect things that I don't fully know everything about.
Speaker 0543.2s - 544.62s
Nobody does except for them.
Speaker 21545.18s - 547.5s
I think she probably wanted to really love the guy.
Speaker 19548s - 555.98s
And he makes it kind of clear in his statement that he didn't give her all the reasons to necessarily love him that way. He wasn't very present.
Speaker 21556.3s - 557.42s
Take it away from Shaq PERSON.
Speaker 19557.42s - 559.56s
Take it away from Shaq PERSON for a second.
Speaker 15559.78s - 559.96s
Okay.
Speaker 21561.58s - 566.78s
I get what you're saying where power or talent could be attractive.
Speaker 15566.86s - 567.76s
Yeah, there's other things.
Speaker 21567.8s - 568.7s
A great example would be.
Speaker 24569.86s - 570.72s
A lot of times singers.
Speaker 21571.14s - 579.86s
Like, Taylor Swift PERSON is definitely attractive. But I betcha Travis Kelsey PERSON finds it more attractive that the world loves her.
Speaker 0580s - 583.96s
I don't know. She has hundreds of thousands of people at every venue cheering her on.
Speaker 19583.96s - 592.12s
Yeah, that talent and that success makes her even more attractive. She's already attractive.
Speaker 24592.26s - 618.06s
It makes her even more attractive. How about Benny Blanco with Selena Gomez PERSON? You know, he's been publicly known to say, I don't know what she sees in me. I'll tell you what she sees. A charming guy where looks don't matter as much, and you're Uber ORG successful. You're successful. You have a great personality. Women are a lot less shallow, I think, when it comes to that. And we just as men think there's no way. How could she not like me? How does she like that guy?
Speaker 21618.66s - 653.8s
Go to Vegas for a weekend and do a field study. And I've done it. See some hot girl with a glistening, lubed up body, legs are shiny. She got glitter on her breastasis. Ooh.She's looking perfect. And then you see some, let's say she's 28. And then you see some 58-year-old guy that's like, got his belly sticking out. The buttons on his shirt are hanging on for dear life. They're like, hello, everybody, what's going on?Who? Is it your first assumption? Guys got money. Why are we pretending that's not the case?
Speaker 19654.22s - 661.56s
And there are some women. Some fat guy with table service and a cigar and like gold chains and hairy chest.
Speaker 21661.68s - 668.6s
Yeah, as the meme goes, where every group of girls you see on a yacht, you got to remember, someone's, someone's, someone's fallen,
Speaker 20668.9s - 670.32s
some guys, one of those girls is,
Speaker 19670.32s - 671.88s
some fat guy and a speedo paid for it.
Speaker 20671.88s - 685.14s
It's called Sugar Daddy. Yeah, one of those girls is falling on the grenade. When you see five hot girls on a yacht, and there's one beefy guy with the hairy back, hello everybody. One of those girls is like, girls, I'll do it.
Speaker 21686.22s - 701.54s
Guys, we got to be honest here. It's for every person that is attracted, like, no, I really do love them for their power and their success and who they are. There's a lot of people that are in it for the money. You ever see an NBA or NFL ORG draft?
Speaker 19702.08s - 737.8s
Who's lurking around the lobby of the hotel? It's always a bunch of women like, ooh, let me meet some future millionaires. There's a lot of, again, we're asking you Fox Sports Radio Nation ORG if you're okay with the arrangement. I'm not saying Shaq and Shawnee PERSON's weddingwas an arrangement, but it sounds like it sort of became one, right? Because he had it all, but she's public, she, we're just taking a word she said. She's saying she was in it for the lifestyle. Not because she loved them. But I'm sure it got to that point. Rich, knock on wood. Would never root against you, but anything could happen. Yeah.
Speaker 21738.04s - 741.72s
I never thought I'd be 40-something and divorced and single again and whatever.
Speaker 19742.86s - 763.92s
Let's say you're an old guy. You're not too far off the mark. Let's say in five years you're like 75. Can you fucking listen to this guy? And you end up divorced. Are you caring why this young hotties with you?Or are you just appreciating the moment? Do you really care if she loves you or you just, hey, you love her?
Speaker 21764s - 770.36s
I'm okay. I didn't say, I want to make it clear. Hold on. Let's make it clear. Again, I got a.
Speaker 19770.82s - 780.2s
Yeah, but my point is outside looking in, you may get weird stares and criticism, but everyone in that moment, they don't, I mean, the people were speculating on, they don't care.
Speaker 21780.3s - 783.2s
No, I'm saying, I better, I just must not be clear in what I'm saying.
Speaker 19784.24s - 785.5s
I'm okay with arrangements. I just don not be clear in what I'm saying. I'm okay with arrangements.
Speaker 24786.16s - 788.44s
I just don't like when people deny them.
Speaker 19788.94s - 789.48s
Okay, fair enough.
Speaker 21789.48s - 837.28s
I mean like, listen, I'm in my early 40s. I have two little kids. If my wife left me, she always jokes that I'd probably end up with some 20-something-year-old flusy, and she's probably right. And a part of that would be, I'd be okay with her being like, yeah, he's like older than me. He's sort of handsome, but he has a good job. Like, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'd be okay with her being like, yeah, he's like older than me. He's sort of handsome, but he has a good job. Like, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, okay with that.I think arrangements are a part of life, business, relationships. Everyone's selfish in some capacity. What are you getting out of this? Now, I'm not saying, I don't want to de-romanticize every relationship, but every marriage is you're being there for each other. Danny, you and your wife, Brenda PERSON, you get something out of it with each other besides your love.I mean, you guys are a team. If you didn't pull your weight on the team, it wouldn't work.
Speaker 14837.52s - 839.46s
Yeah, we got a kid out of it who doesn't let us sleep.
Speaker 21839.62s - 860.72s
So what I'm saying is when you see some hot young something with some rich old guy or vice versa, you got to remember they have to pull their weight for what they're bringing to the table. He might bring a hairy back in a belly, but he might be worth $28 million. She might be unemployed, but she might have perfect cheeks.
Speaker 19861.68s - 863.48s
We're going to take your phone calls and your feedback.
Speaker 21863.48s - 864.78s
Let's not deny the truth.
Speaker 19864.96s - 946.58s
Phone calls and feedback on social media at Kavino and Rich ORG. Not everybody could chime in. If you chime in on the future, you know, we appreciate that. We read all the feedback throughout the night. But again, Shawnee O'Neill, or the woman known formerly as Johnny O'Neill PERSON, since remarried Keon Henderson in 2022, and Shaq PERSON, who's currently single, supports it.He says, I'm happy for her. I hope this gentleman treats her the way she's supposed to be treated. I'm a still lover. I'm quoting Shaq PERSON. And, you know, since we're using him as the jump off an example for the story, I do want to say, I think that Shaq PERSON handles this the right way.He knows he wasn't there the way he should have been. And he takes accountability. And I love that he took the high road today. So if we're going to use him as this jump off conversation and his story is the example, then I got to say, hey, props as well for at least saying all love Shaq PERSON.Because that's got to sting a little bit when the mother of your kids goes public and says, I'm unsure if I ever loved the guy hey my ex might feel that way about me but doesn't mean I want everybody to read about it that's a tricky one but your thoughts we'd love to hear at 877 99 on Fox ORG are you okay with arrangements? Do they bother you?
Speaker 21946.64s - 952.8s
It's really none of our business But to be in denial of it is also A little silly Yeah, to pretend like you don't see it.
Speaker 19952.8s - 1007.08s
There's a whole world. Camino, I know you and your girlfriend love a lot of those trashy reality shows. What do you think the housewives and wags and All these shows are based on Hot middle-aged women who marriedpowerful men. Yeah, but again, we're assuming that they're not attracted to them. They're attracted to that power. They're just attracted to things that we're not necessarily attracted to. We're attracted to, like, the talent. I've been with, and personality. You know, we're not as shallow as we make it out to be. When I was completely single, Rich, I remember meeting girls I saw in Bumble FAC. And I got there and I'd be kind of disappointed. I'm like, you don't look like your pictures. But after a few drinks and getting to know them, and then a few more drinks and a few more drinks. But after getting to know them, you're like, you know what? They're kind of cool and they become more attractive to you. Of course, it's not, it's not all looks.
Speaker 211007.08s - 1015.58s
I don't think all these women are as in it just to take this guy's money as we think.
Speaker 191016.38s - 1028.16s
I think there is some attractive attraction there. Remember Anna Nicole Smith PERSON used to say it all the time? We used to say, how in the world could she be attracted to that 95-year-old guy? You believed her?
Speaker 211028.28s - 1034.16s
I did. You believed her when she was like, I like his power. He was like a vegetable in a wheelchair.
Speaker 151034.52s - 1042.34s
Nope. He's so hot. You were the guy that bought that?
Speaker 211043.34s - 1043.94s
That's such a random example.
Speaker 191043.94s - 1060.52s
I mean, you also bought Swamp Land from Eric Estrada in 2002. What I'm trying to say is I think the same way I find the personality or the talent or the success attractive, women find that power, that money. It's all part of the bundle.
Speaker 241060.82s - 1062.76s
Money. Part of the bundle. It's part of the bundle.
Speaker 191064.26s - 1070.02s
I think some of these women look beyond it. Some of them are there for the wrong reasons.
Speaker 211070.94s - 1072.24s
What would you call a really old woman?
Speaker 191072.5s - 1074.16s
Like a saber tooth tiger, not a cougar.
Speaker 211074.32s - 1075.16s
Yeah, Sabretoose PERSON.
Speaker 191075.36s - 1076.02s
What would you call?
Speaker 211076.14s - 1077s
Everybody knows, yes.
Speaker 191077s - 1079.34s
You know what? We got tons of phones, so let's go to him.
Speaker 241079.38s - 1085.66s
Then we got Isaac PERSON for an update. And then I had a random question, not sports related at all. But it's fun. It has to do with
Speaker 211085.66s - 1092.1s
negotiating. What's up? Stella, Minnesota GPE. You're on with Kavito and Rich PERSON.
Speaker 251092.56s - 1108.42s
Hi, thank you guys. Hi, Stella PERSON. It's exciting. It's so exciting to talk to you guys. So listen, I kind of feel sorry for Shaq PERSON, but apparently aren't these high-profile marriages kind of arranged anyway?Feels like it, right?
Speaker 191108.56s - 1109.84s
We think that a lot.
Speaker 251110.34s - 1143.8s
And then, so I saw this video with Shaq PERSON and his wife, and they were having an interaction, and Shaq PERSON was, they were making Shaq's breakfast, and the way they treated him, she didn't seem like she even liked him on that video that I saw. She was kind of putting him down. But I think if these are arranged, then he knows and she knows. And that's just the way it goes. And I think that when she left when it was over, she should have kept her mouth shut. I don't think that was warranted. I don't think she should say that. It's ridiculous. It's kind of sad.
Speaker 191143.8s - 1182.26s
She has the right to speak her side of her life and her story, but where I think it gets questionable is when the kids have to read that. So wait a second. Mom never really even loved dad. And again, we're not putting words in her mouth. It's what she said. But what I choose to believe in this is only speculation is that they were in it for the right reasons. He was all about her. and he's talked about that. He had it all. I loved her. Yeah, he loved her. She was fine as hell. She was the mother of his kids and he blew it.I think she was also with him in the beginning because he's shack and he's awesome. Keep in mind that things got different over the years.
Speaker 211182.26s - 1190.56s
That's why when you hear stories, whether you love or hate him, when you hear about Patrick PERSON and Brittany Mahomes and how they went to a school dance together.
Speaker 111190.8s - 1192.66s
She's my high school sweetheart.
Speaker 211193.66s - 1215.08s
Didn't she jokingly say she had a crush on him? And then he's like, I like her too. That's why those stories feel good because it's like, they liked each other before it all mattered, before money and fame and all that came into the mix which is why you see a lot of athletesDanny G. PERSON More so than anyone else in society that you see a lot of athletes with their early girlfriends.
Speaker 141216.06s - 1218.86s
Yeah. I was just going to say that's the one person
Speaker 211218.86s - 1220.54s
they can still trust all the way.
Speaker 191220.98s - 1223.22s
Listen, you go to a baseball stadium?
Speaker 211223.22s - 1225.32s
You probably have friends for the wrong reasons.
Speaker 141225.94s - 1226.54s
Never mind.
Speaker 191226.66s - 1227.38s
Women for the right.
Speaker 211228.04s - 1229.22s
Women, right? Who were just...
Speaker 141229.22s - 1231.9s
Maybe they don't even know what they're attracted to at that point.
Speaker 191232.14s - 1235.26s
Just the attention that comes along with it. Yeah. Who knows? No doubt.
Speaker 141235.42s - 1239.34s
I mean, there's even family members who turn rotten once you get fame and money.
Speaker 211239.44s - 1255.8s
You ain't kidding. So when you see those baseball players or NBA ORG stars that have that high school sweetheart, there is something pretty sweet about it because they didn't know it was going to pan out. Adam in Florida GPE. What's up, Adam PERSON? What's going on, guys?
Speaker 271256.04s - 1256.86s
Hey, what do you think?
Speaker 211257.58s - 1260.5s
I just feel bad for Shaq PERSON's wife now that I think about it.
Speaker 271260.56s - 1264.64s
You know, seven tooth, sweaty all over. Yeah, that's disgusting. That would have left them too.
Speaker 191265.32s - 1267.92s
And he's admitted he has stinky feet. He's talked about that.
Speaker 211267.92s - 1270s
Hey, he gives his pedicure person. What, $1,000
Speaker 191270s - 1271.74s
a pop? I got this thing. I got the
Speaker 151271.74s - 1272.54s
stinky his feet over.
Speaker 191273.2s - 1284.08s
Next question. So, no, look, I'm sure she was very attracted to him early on. That's just my guess. I don't know. What do I know? Rick PERSON in
Speaker 211284.08s - 1287.54s
Seattle. Hey, Rick PERSON. Hey, Rick. Hi, what's up, y'all I don't know. What do I know? Rick in Seattle. Hey, Rick. Hey, Rick. Hi, what's up, y'all?
Speaker 261287.7s - 1289.12s
Hey, buddy. What do you think?
Speaker 211289.4s - 1294.16s
So, look, no, man, I think arrangements, I think people may not want to admit it,
Speaker 261294.2s - 1319.44s
but I feel like a lot of relationships are an arrangement on some level. I mean, I feel like at least a serious relationship. Like, most women, they expect a guy to have a certain amount of income, to take care of a certain amount of bills. And you got to love each other. But at the same time, if you are bum, you ain't get no love.So I think arrangements are the thing and people just need to be open about it.
Speaker 191319.44s - 1325.54s
That is true. I'm sure my girlfriend loves me. But if I was a bum, I doubt she'd be with me.
Speaker 211325.64s - 1326.76s
So think about it, right?
Speaker 191326.76s - 1345.74s
Every relationship, whether you want to look yourself in the mirror and think it or not. Then again, when my girlfriend met me, this is the truth. Danny G. PERSON, you probably don't know this. When she met me, I was going through a divorce. I had a kid, still have a kid. I was broke.I was in debt, and I was living with my sister, dude. She met you at your lowest.
Speaker 211345.9s - 1347.5s
Yeah. Which is why she has credit.
Speaker 191348.06s - 1362.94s
I have to always keep that in mind. Props to her. I know. That proves she's a good woman. But from an outsider perspective, you don't think there's people that are like, oh, she's in her early 30s.Cavito's in his four. Like, you know, there's a decent age difference. You're a divorced guy.
Speaker 211364.74s - 1367.64s
There's probably people that are like, oh, that's why she likes them.
Speaker 191367.94s - 1383.8s
No, because I'm not a millionaire. So she could have actual millionaire. She's hot. She doesn't need to be with my thousand-air ass. You know, that's you hyping me up, and I appreciate that. But I don't think anyone looks at me like, yeah, she's winning for the money. One money.
Speaker 211384.1s - 1396.84s
When I sign that Colin Coward PERSON contract, maybe, keep stumbling like that. You're not getting it. I know. Stars. I'll never get it. Stars. So there you go. Shack, always love hearing about him.
Speaker 241397s - 1399.08s
But, yeah, this was a, it was a very.
Speaker 191399.52s - 1400.54s
I thought he played it perfectly.
Speaker 211400.54s - 1401.24s
Yeah, it was.
Speaker 191401.62s - 1414.34s
Right? Like, if your ex comes publicly out there and says some stuff like that about you, even if it's true and it's not meant to hurt feelings or whatever, how are you supposed to handle it? He was like, bam. Yeah, I wouldn't love me either.
Speaker 211414.44s - 1423.12s
Well, speaking of celebrity athlete exes, we'll go to Isaac PERSON for an update, but did you see, Giselle PERSON not happy? It's coming out more and more that.
Speaker 141423.3s - 1424.14s
You're saying our name wrong.
Speaker 211424.36s - 1425.44s
I'm sorry, Giselle PERSON.
Speaker 141425.7s - 1432s
Gizel PERSON. Gizel PERSON. Gizel. Based on what you were saying about the kids hearing,
Speaker 211432.5s - 1438.38s
do you think Tom Brady's PERSON kids are like, what does the trainer do to her? Exactly. But you seem to be okay with it.
Speaker 111438.92s - 1442.36s
Mom, is it true? Isaac PERSON, what's going on, man? Hey, buddy.
Speaker 211443.72s - 1450.34s
Time for another jiu-jitsu lesson. Worst thing Tom Brady PERSON ever suggested. Hey, why do you take some martial arts club?
Speaker 241454.54s - 1458.1s

They knew that they needed to do this as fast as they possibly could to get a drug on the market

as fast as they could. I'm David Grua. I'm Sarah Holder. I'm Salaya Mosen PERSON. We cover the
Speaker 331535.12s - 1539.96s
stories behind what's moving money and markets. Basically everyone was expecting, if not a
Speaker 01539.96s - 1545.14s
calamity, certainly a recession. But the problem is that that paperwork, as our reporting showed,
Speaker 321545.32s - 1550.86s
is fake. Someone who's covering the market, I'm often very worried about an imminent collapse. I'm
Speaker 11550.86s - 1557.26s
thinking about it quite often. Listen to the big take on the I-Hard Radio app, Apple ORG Podcasts, or wherever

Speaker 131582.46s - 1587.92s
It's an election year. So there's a lot of focus on the voters that TikTok ORG is reaching.
Speaker 121588.16s - 1599.44s
The initial reaction is like, oh, things are looking so resilient. I don't want to be too pessimistic, but I just don't see the political will down in Washington GPE right now to change their tune.
Speaker 51600.56s - 1608.84s
I think the American electorate has been signaling that it expects a rematch of the 2020 election. These are unprecedented times.

Speaker 191747.06s - 1747.8s
After party.
Speaker 211747.9s - 1748.42s
I'm kidding.
Speaker 241748.96s - 1749.46s
Danny G.
Speaker 141749.58s - 1755.32s
The after party always turns out you twisted a little bit singing karaoke. It's true.
Speaker 211755.6s - 1776.38s
Facts. All right. Before we get to NBA ORG playoffs, and by the way, last night, I think it was a good night to sort of casually watch because there were like Paul E.D.'s's hair in the 2000s.Blowouts. Yesterday was not fun NBA ORG. So hopefully tonight we don't get two points, two games that were 30 point differences.
Speaker 141776.7s - 1779.3s
Tonight you got Pacers and the Knicks ORG which should be good.
Speaker 221779.84s - 1781.72s
Called it with OKC ORG's win streak, man.
Speaker 211781.74s - 1783.8s
They're still undefeated in the playoffs. Unreal.
Speaker 141784s - 1786.44s
So you got 117 1795 over the map.
Speaker 211786.54s - 1787.46s
So, yeah, playing big.
Speaker 191787.54s - 1788.86s
Props to the Celtics and the Thunder ORG.
Speaker 141789.48s - 1793.6s
And tonight's game should be fun, man. I'm going to be glued to that one for sure. We'll talk about it.
Speaker 211793.64s - 1829.54s
But Rich PERSON, you wanted to talk negotiating. Yeah, you know, by the way, basketball at the garden. Still's got that buzz. We talked about how, as much as you hate to say it, football is a little more fun when the Cowboys ORG are good. NBA is a little more fun when the Knboys are good. NBA is a little more fun when the Knicks ORG are good. That excitement at the garden, it adds to the playoff fun. All right, negotiating. I just had a thought for you guys because before I came to the show today, I was at the car dealership. And I feel like what used to be something your grandpappy and your dad would talk about the auto-negotiating.
Speaker 191829.74s - 1838.86s
Didn't you have to sit there with them as kids and deal with this awkward ordeal of your dad threatening to leave and the good cop, bad cop between mom and dad? I did.
Speaker 211838.92s - 1840.72s
No, Steven, stay. I'd be sitting there.
Speaker 191840.72s - 1844.62s
I get out of here. I don't got time for this. I'd fall asleep inside the conversion vans.
Speaker 211844.7s - 1851.22s
I'd be so bored sitting there all day while dad negotiated. Eating the over-salted popcorn they handed out for free.
Speaker 141851.46s - 1855.52s
There's only a few places that I remember like negotiating is a thing.
Speaker 211855.62s - 1861.88s
Like the mattress store is one where for some reason, I don't know why, but you could go to a mattress store. It'd be like, what does your mattresses?
Speaker 191861.88s - 1873.66s
How about the minute? How about $1,600? How about the minute you get off the plane in Mexico GPE? Oh, foreign countries? I even tell the kid, like, get out of here, a dollar for that gum, I'll give you a quarter. You're getting.
Speaker 211873.76s - 1874.96s
You're negotiating with the little kid.
Speaker 191875.68s - 1880.18s
He's selling chiclay for his family. Hey, dude, I'd negotiate with everybody, especially on vacation.
Speaker 211880.52s - 1881.18s
Forget about it.
Speaker 191881.18s - 1885.12s
Kavino bought a pretty cool necklace with an Aztec NORP calendar.
Speaker 211885.28s - 1890.22s
Yeah. And his girlfriend told me that she was cringing the whole time when he was negotiating. Yeah.
Speaker 191890.76s - 1900.34s
$80, my friend, and Kvino's like, 50. Yeah, all the time. My girlfriend's like, this isn't like the negotiating type of place. I'm like, everything is a negotiating type of place.
Speaker 141900.64s - 1904.48s
That's how Kovino's salary is second best at the network behind Colin Calhart PERSON.
Speaker 211904.52s - 1951.24s
I know. I'd be a good negotiator. People don't realize. I bring this up because I feel like because of the internet, because of social media, and because of transparency, I think the art of car negotiatingisn't much of a thing anymore. You go to a dealership now. They're like, yeah, here's a sticker price, MSRP. We can throw this and we can throw that in. We really... What makes you think that? We can't budge that much off of this. And then I wonder, let me ask you guys, do you go in withthe, hey, listen, I'm ready to make a deal if you give me the right deal, or do you go in with the whole, like, I'm not ready, I'm just looking. And another tactic I was talked to my wife about, I'm like, do wego in there looking like we're broke? Like, put away, flip your, if you have a nice ring, ladies, I was telling my wife wife about, I'm like, do we go in there looking like we're broke? Like put away, flip your, if you have a nice ring ladies, I was telling my wife like, don't let him see a nice diamond ring. So what happens?
Speaker 191951.24s - 1955.04s
And if you took your sweatpants off and put on your weaker sweatpants? What'd you do?
Speaker 211955.1s - 1955.44s
That's funny.
Speaker 191955.64s - 1956.38s
That's the truth.
Speaker 211956.98s - 1960.06s
But do you act broke?
Speaker 141960.64s - 1965.94s
No, Rich PERSON. I think salespeople are savvy enough nowadays to realize it doesn't matter how you're dressed.
Speaker 191966.82s - 1969.72s
You know, you could be a multimillionaire and be looking like a bum.
Speaker 141969.78s - 1972.5s
I would say it doesn't help, though, to come in there super flashy.
Speaker 191972.78s - 1973.56s
It's not going to help.
Speaker 141973.8s - 1975.66s
Yeah, they might try to, you know, smooth.
Speaker 191975.66s - 1977.7s
But what makes you think there's no wiggle room anymore?
Speaker 141978.04s - 1979.78s
Yeah, they're going to schmooze you a little bit different.
Speaker 191979.94s - 1983.6s
But, I mean, the first thing you got to do is don't tell them what your budget is.
Speaker 141984.1s - 1985.26s
That's number one. That's a good one. Here's something someone told me once in this is. They're always going to ask you, what are you looking to do is don't tell them what your budget is. That's number one.
Speaker 191985.26s - 1985.8s
That's a good one.
Speaker 141986.1s - 1987.94s
Here's something someone told me once in this is.
Speaker 191987.94s - 1989.24s
They're always going to ask you, what are you looking to pay a month?
Speaker 141989.4s - 1989.98s
You know what?
Speaker 211990.3s - 1991.38s
Yeah, it's little possible.
Speaker 141991.38s - 1992.42s
You know why?
Speaker 191992.48s - 2003.26s
Because you could be like, well, I want my car payment. You could say 300 or 500. And what they'll do is they'll manipulate the numbers so that you'll get the number you want, but that'll make more of a down payment or, you know.
Speaker 212003.54s - 2011.54s
You know what annoys me is they go behind closed doors and they have these negotiations like you're playing deal or no deal? And you're like, who's the guy that they're talking? Howie Mandel PERSON called the banker.
Speaker 192013.38s - 2015.64s
But I want to know why you think there's no wiggle room, though.
Speaker 212015.68s - 2017.8s
Why do you think there's no negotiation?
Speaker 192017.8s - 2022.58s
Because the fact that you could buy through websites, the fact that you could buy through
Speaker 212022.58s - 2040.58s
apps, the fact that there's a million ways to just look at sticker prices, you could compare and contrast, you could say, all right, I'm going to BMW or a Honda or Toyota, Mercedes, you could call one dealership and be like, hey, do you have this class car? What color? All right, cool. Call the other dealership.
Speaker 192040.94s - 2044.42s
Yeah, but doesn't their inventory have things to do with that?
Speaker 212044.5s - 2059.96s
I don't know. You know what? I'm curious if you guys had any insight because I feel like the last few times I've gone to get a car it's less of that cat and mouse like, here's what I'm willing to pay or I'll walk. A lot of times I're like, heylisten man, this is the price like maybe that's their tactic.
Speaker 142060.72s - 2074.52s
I don't know. No, I understand what you're saying. The last time I purchased the car, we got it for my girl. It was just we sat at the desk. We had already worked out the numbers on the internet and got there. They put everything in. It was like done in an hour.
Speaker 212074.64s - 2123.8s
It was crazy. That's my point. Much like what are they called for when you paint child support? Dissomaster. It's almost like an equation. And let me know if you agree or not.87799 on Fox ORG. Is's almost like an equation and let me know if you agree or not. 877-99 on Fox ORG is negotiating cars like an old thing of the past. I figure from Mother's Day. Maybe you just got weak skills, man. You got to really be willing to walk.I'll buy her new car. No, I'm not buying her new car for Mother's Day but my wife's from wanting to upgrade to the three rows because we got kids and sports and activities and as your kids get older, a lot of dads know, you need more space for, like, junk, sports equipment, lugging other people's kids to practices and dance class and all this stuff. So we're getting the three rows, I think. Now, I said negotiating at a car place seems to be a thing of the past that your dad and grandpappy would do.
Speaker 192123.9s - 2127.8s
And my knowledge is this. Yeah, off with cash. My dad always negotiates.
Speaker 212127.9s - 2132.06s
Cash money. Now that works some places. Cash is king.
Speaker 192132.14s - 2139.42s
Might have worked done around the house and if you give your contractor cash money, he might lower the price. But you're saying at the dealership. At the dealership, I think it's sort of like,
Speaker 212139.88s - 2198.02s
hey, here's the price. Take it or leave it. And I say that because back of the day, when we learned about negotiating, the same thing applied for hotels, airfare. Your parents were guessing because, what, you went to a travel agent and they tried to help you. But right now, if you wanted a flight, you'd go to kayak, you'd go to price line, you'd go to all these places and start cross-referencing. Hotels.com, Hotels Tonight, Expedia ORG.Those things are there to be tools to help you. Right now, if I was trying to find the trade-in value of my car, there's like 20 websites that'll tell you the trade-in value of your car. So when you hear your dad or grandpappy talking about, yeah, I was negotiating this Plymouth in 1980-something, there was no internet. So negotiating meant more. I think nowadays, correct me if I'm this Plymouth in 1980 something. There was no internet. So negotiating meant more.I think nowadays, correct me if I'm wrong, it's different with pre-owns, but a brand new car, I think the wiggle room is not that much. It's like, here's the MSRP, take it or leave it.
Speaker 192198.02s - 2210.54s
I would say that, well, I think your business means a lot more to them, though, because not a lot of people are buying cars, not as much as they used to because interest rates are so high and people
Speaker 142210.54s - 2212.92s
are broke. Thank you. You said it right there, interest rates.
Speaker 192213.14s - 2218.74s
That's where a lot of the negotiating is because when they're saying 13, I'm saying,
Speaker 212218.86s - 2226.62s
I'm not paying more than eight is where I was at last time. And my credit's better now. You should be going down, not up. Right, which is wild.
Speaker 192226.88s - 2228.22s
And that's with the banking person.
Speaker 142228.38s - 2233.94s
It's obvious, but if you could buy it outright and avoid that completely, it makes a lot of sense now.
Speaker 212234.14s - 2235.26s
Like, interest is so high.
Speaker 192235.32s - 2237.58s
If you have that money, well, screw it then.
Speaker 142237.6s - 2238.38s
I'll just buy it.
Speaker 192238.56s - 2241.16s
Why do I want to get ripped off paying all this crazy interest?
Speaker 142241.4s - 2251.4s
Yeah, Rich PERSON, that salesperson, though, they always disappear into the back to talk to the finance manager about that interest rate and then come back. That's still part of the game.
Speaker 212251.48s - 2255.32s
Yeah. But again, Danny PERSON, that's different than the price of the car. You're right.
Speaker 142255.48s - 2263.66s
With the economy now, interest rate is more of the issue. But if you're saying, I'll buy the car in cash, which I know not everyone could do, I'm not saying
Speaker 212263.66s - 2263.98s
I'm doing.
Speaker 192263.98s - 2266.16s
But if you can, it is going to save you a few bucks. At least you got that. But I think the idea of like, I think my wife was in cash, which I know not everyone could do. I'm not saying I'm doing. But if you can, it is going to save
Speaker 212266.16s - 2282.26s
you a few bucks. At least you got that. But I think the idea of, like, I think my wife was like, will you throw in like, I don't know, like certain sport package or will you throw in the special like car cover, the seat covers for kids making a mess? Or can you give me thesport car mats? She's trying to get
Speaker 192282.26s - 2296.76s
extras. You know where else you can get some though? You always try to get your extras like Rich PERSON is saying, but dude, inventory is so low at so many places for whatever reason that they're willing to buy your crappy car back more willing than they used to.
Speaker 212296.84s - 2309.28s
So maybe you get more for your trade and then you used to be able to get. That's true. All right. Let's go to Andrew in Fort Lauderdale GPE. Andrew PERSON, am I totally wrong or am I right about there being not that much wiggle room for a brand new car?
Speaker 302310.06s - 2314.96s
First of all, you're not that far away. I'm actually on my way to the Bruins and Panthers game two.
Speaker 212315.14s - 2317.54s
Nice, man. Have fun tonight, brother. Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 302317.64s - 2381.92s
So let me kind of say the basics of a car deal. I've been selling cars for 40 years. First of all, the majority of factory authorized retailers that you go to have one price selling. Customers do not want to negotiate. They simply don't. If you feel that everybody's paying the same for the car, you feel a little better. The way it works is less than 1% of the dealership profit comes from the selling of the car. There's very little margin in a car. If you take the car that's $20,000, the dealer owns that car for about 189. He's working with a small margin. The majority of profit on the dealer should come from the service department. It's called six operations. That's where the real, the real shop that comes. As far as the interest rate, the dealer does determine the rate of interest. The dealer structure the deal, you submit it to a bank, you know, assuming you havedecent credit, and the bank comes back with an interest rate. The bigger banks are more competitive. You've got a stronger credit file, you know, the Bank of America ORG, the foolish, right? If you have a little bit of a credit challenge, you know, they may have some lenders that work along those line. But very little, there's very little margin in the car.
Speaker 212382.16s - 2395.8s
See? Thank you. Andrew PERSON. That was what I was thinking because a new car, you're right. The service center and they'll be like, hey, do you want the tire package? Do you want this thing where if something ever goes wrong with your car, they try to sell you on those extras, and you try to ask them for extras.
Speaker 142395.88s - 2402.66s
It's almost like how movie theaters don't make barely any money off the actual tickets of the movie. They make their money off concessions. Yeah.
Speaker 212402.78s - 2403.96s
That's why popcorn's $13.
Speaker 282404.86s - 2408.18s
Let's go to Trav PERSONis in Washington State. What's up, Trav?
Speaker 142408.66s - 2413s
Hey, this is more of a tip than a negotiation tactic because, yeah, there is really no wiggle
Speaker 282413s - 2434.76s
room, but if you can, wait until the end of the year, because dealerships are going to have a thousand, you know, blowout sales throughout the year. But the end of the year blowout sale is always the one where they're trying to mark down the price to move the car to get it off their book so that they can get the next year's model in. So if you can, wait until that time. Gotcha. Thanks for the tip.
Speaker 192434.88s - 2440.78s
And by the way, we are accepting tips now, 10%, 15, or 20%. You just have to ask a few questions
Speaker 142440.78s - 2445.62s
first. The screen's going to ask you a question. I'm bringing our show's card slide to you, Gene PERSON.
Speaker 242445.62s - 2447.88s
Yeah, perfect. If everybody is accepting
Speaker 142447.88s - 2448.76s
tips, so are we.
Speaker 212449.06s - 2451.68s
Thank you. Matt, wrapped us up in SoCal LOC. What's up, buddy?
Speaker 142452.62s - 2455.9s
Yo, yo, Covino and Rich PERSON, as always, natural content
Speaker 192455.9s - 2457.38s
backed by sincere BS.
Speaker 142457.5s - 2457.66s
Yeah.
Speaker 212460.18s - 2462.12s
Hey, honestly, I think
Speaker 192462.12s - 2464.18s
there is a wiggle room, and I think there's a technique
Speaker 142464.18s - 2468.02s
to it because the last two cars that I bought, I think it's who you bring with you.
Speaker 192468.16s - 2471.5s
I brought my brother-in-law who absolutely loves this stuff.
Speaker 292471.94s - 2503.08s
I just sat there and did absolutely nothing. And to me, it's like there's levels to it. It's like, you know, playing video games and jumping leaders. If you don't get by the first two lines, at least the first two lines of the fence, then I think you're getting screwed. But it's like, I mean, he went in there, like, right away we sat down. I just watched. And it got to the point where, okay, we got to the third or fourth guy. And it's like, okay, you've got to be ready to walk. And I got two victories in my book, and I did absolutely nothing. So I definitely think there's wiggle room and there's definitely technique.
Speaker 212503.08s - 2509.72s
I think there's way more wiggle room to wrap it up with pre-owned, right? Because they're just sort of, not guessing, but they're making up the price.
Speaker 192510.02s - 2512s
Spot PERSON, I got to wiggle it. Just a little bit.
Speaker 212512.64s - 2513.22s
Just a little bit.
Speaker 192513.72s - 2532.78s
I've always said that. You have. Spot, when you and I looked at cars and I remember, this is when we first moved to Los Angeles. Kavino Spot PERSON and I all moved out here at the same time. And I remember some of the salesmen are like, don't leave. They're very like, don't leave.Like, what could we do to get you to not leave without the car?
Speaker 212533.02s - 2543.04s
And then you start like, you know, being preposterous. Like, all right, knock off another five grand. And it's like really just a silly game that I think the wiggle room is and what you think.
Speaker 222543.12s - 2544.38s
What do you want your monthly payments to be?
Speaker 212544.7s - 2549.22s
Zero. But I'm going to have to have a payment. As low as possible. Thanks.
Speaker 192549.38s - 2549.54s
All right.
Speaker 222549.54s - 2552.26s
Well, thank you guys for hearing me out there.
Speaker 192552.3s - 2562.78s
I just thought it was interesting because, you know, you don't go get a new car that often. And when you do, you realize like nowadays in 2024, it seems like they're very much like, here's what it is.
Speaker 212563.78s - 2564.74s
You take it to leave it.
Speaker 142565.14s - 2577.26s
Another interesting thing in 2024, if you buy a pre-owned, they do not fill the car up with gas for you to leave. Remember, that was always a thing like you left the lot with a full tank. They only do that for brand new cars.
Speaker 212577.5s - 2579.82s
Wow. That's sweet. By the way, that's one of the best.
Speaker 142579.82s - 2598.02s
That's expensive. That's one of the best rebrandings in the history. Even more so than the 12th man in Seattle GPE. Even more so than the Steph Curry Warriors ORG. The best rebranding in the last 20-something years calling used cars certified pre-ons. It sounds way nicer.
Speaker 192598.66s - 2600.48s
You get a nice little warranty with it too.
Speaker 212600.66s - 2602.06s
Yeah, but still like...
Speaker 192602.06s - 2604.54s
Yeah, it's used car. No, no, not a used car.
Speaker 212606.16s - 2608.04s
Certified pre-owned. It sounds way nice.
Speaker 222608.14s - 2609.9s
Thank you. The best rebranding was
Speaker 192609.9s - 2611.84s
Crocs PRODUCT. That's a good one, too,
Speaker 212611.9s - 2613.78s
Spock PERSON. They were garbage.
Speaker 222613.84s - 2617.88s
I would have never been caught dead in those, and now I like, take out the
Speaker 192617.88s - 2619.84s
trashware. You're talking branding. I don't see the best
Speaker 212619.84s - 2622s
rebranding is Kia ORG. We got
Speaker 192622s - 2625.16s
a new 9-inch nails logo, and they're kind of sweet-looking.
Speaker 212629.12s - 2632.86s
I looked at the, what is it, the tell you ride? But I was like, I can't, I still can't find myself buying a key in this unless they're going to give me a free one. The quality of Kia ORG's
Speaker 202632.86s - 2638.26s
now is much better than they were. I drove a Kia Turbo, or Kia Soul Turbo PRODUCT. Yeah, but they had
Speaker 192638.26s - 2642.28s
a week. They had a weak sort of stigma. Now they're cool as hell. That's what I mean.
Speaker 202642.28s - 2652.32s
They're actually really good value and they, they don't, like, I'm not going to name my current car, but my Kia ORG needed almost no upkeep compared to my current car. I agreed. He looked great.
Speaker 192652.32s - 2659.74s
I loved it. He was a fast little guy. So that's Iowa Samuel. Danny G is here. Kavino PERSON and
Speaker 212659.74s - 2664.22s
Rich. Sam, you don't want to tell people you drive a Volkswagen ORG rabbit? Is that? Well, outside of their
Speaker 202664.22s - 2673s
little lying scandal, Volkswagons are actually pretty good cars. I don't want to tell people you drive a Volkswagen ORG rabbit? Well, outside of their little lying scandal, Volkswagen's are actually pretty good cars. I don't drive a rabbit, though. It's okay that you drive any Susu Amigo PRODUCT. In the Suzu PRODUCT? I find those.
Speaker 212673.36s - 2674.84s
There's no shame in your pro.
Speaker 202675.22s - 2680.3s
The fact that you drive a probe? I'm not judging you that. A geometro, you know, from 2000. It's totally fine, dude.
Speaker 192680.3s - 2681.56s
He has a green dodge neon.
Speaker 202681.82s - 2681.94s
Yeah.
Speaker 192683.06s - 2684.96s
It's okay you have a Pontiac Sunfire PRODUCT, man.
Speaker 202685.1s - 2686.66s
My girlfriend had one in 2002.
Speaker 142686.96s - 2688.74s
I saw you went to Saturn ORG in the garage.
Speaker 192688.94s - 2689.3s
It's all right.
Speaker 222690.22s - 2691.68s
Let's remember some old cars.
Speaker 142692.22s - 2694.24s
We got to talk, well, I don't know.
Speaker 222694.32s - 2695.18s
It was getting late early.
Speaker 192695.88s - 2697.28s
Do you want to talk fights, Rich PERSON?
Speaker 222697.36s - 2698.5s
Do you want to talk Austin Rivers PERSON?
Speaker 192698.86s - 2700.46s
Well, I think this is going to get into midweek major.
Speaker 222700.46s - 2702.24s
I think this Austin Rivers PERSON thing is interesting.
Speaker 202702.62s - 2706.32s
Because the Ryan Garcia PERSON thing, it's still, we're still not certain.
Speaker 192706.4s - 2710.82s
The story is that Ryan Garcia PERSON, it looks like he's like sort of innocent.
Speaker 202711.04s - 2712.6s
Like one of the drug tests came back.
Speaker 192713.18s - 2714.2s
Good for him.
Speaker 212714.8s - 2716.32s
But the story's not written yet.
Speaker 192716.32s - 2723.36s
Sample B, the official results for sample B of his urine test come back May 22nd.
Speaker 212724.06s - 2730.48s
But to see if he comes back positive for Osterine, but he did come back negative for
Speaker 192730.48s - 2757.4s
Norando Sterone PERSON. Narando Sterone PERSON. Wasn't that the Italian kid in Spots FAC homeroom? Narando Sterone PERSON. That's what Stallone PERSON uses at hotels. Absolutely.Narendo Sterone PERSON. Absolutely. So it did come back that he was cleared of the P.E.D. 19 Narendosterone. And like the other levels are so minuscule. They're trying to argue that that doesn't even matter. That could have been in like a random vitamin he was taking. So you know, we don't know
Speaker 212757.4s - 2762.1s
the full story. So as corporate America would say, Kim PERSON, you know, put a pin in that. And we'll circle.
Speaker 192762.1s - 2768.88s
I will circle back. It's looking good for Garcia PERSON at the moment because social media is basically declared him innocent. Yeah.
Speaker 212769.08s - 2771.88s
Well, but not completely. We'll circle back on Zoom PRODUCT.
Speaker 142772.08s - 2773.24s
We'll circle back.
Speaker 212773.34s - 2786.76s
Put a pin in it. But there's a viral meme going around based on a quote of Austin Reeves PERSON. Is there actually audio of it as well? Let's hear it, buddy. From the McAfee PERSON show, take a listen to Austin Rivers PERSON.
Speaker 172787.3s - 2799.38s
We got to get you outside of that football lane, man. Where the guaranteed contracts are, where the best athletes in the world are, that's us. I can take 30 players right now in the NBA and throw them in the NFL ORG.You cannot take 30 NFL ORG players and put them in the NBA ORG.
Speaker 62800.38s - 2804.18s
Whoa. It's because you only get a lot of five on the court. Let's just, let's all relax.
Speaker 212804.18s - 2807.76s
It's just get a break every play. I got to just catch the ball and run north or south.
Speaker 62807.84s - 2808.64s
Listen, our sport.
Speaker 212808.7s - 2815.58s
It ain't a conflict. Well, was McAfee PERSON wearing a tank top while standing? That's my guess. Yes.
Speaker 192815.74s - 2819.28s
Okay. By the way, J.J. Watt PERSON responded to that. I don't know if you saw that.
Speaker 212819.28s - 2822.88s
You don't got a job in either right now. Go ahead and try it.
Speaker 192823.96s - 2826.94s
So it definitely ruffled some ridges, as I say.
Speaker 212827.58s - 2837.9s
So you could take 30 players in the NBA, throw them in the NFL ORG, but you can't take 30 players in the NFL and throw them in the NBA ORG. Now, I'll be honest with you. You could
Speaker 192837.9s - 2841.82s
take some of the NFL players and maybe get them in the NBA ORG. Maybe.
Speaker 212842.12s - 2845.04s
Because there's some great athleticism.
Speaker 192845.72s - 2847.18s
I don't listen to. In the NFL ORG.
Speaker 142847.46s - 2852.4s
We recently talked about the NFL ORG draft where he saw a video of guys playing, you know,
Speaker 192852.46s - 2854.54s
high school or college basketball as well as well.
Speaker 212854.64s - 2859.5s
I'm not saying Puka Nakua could be in the NBA ORG, but the dude could ball.
Speaker 192859.62s - 2860.14s
You don't know.
Speaker 212860.26s - 2860.54s
I don't know.
Speaker 192860.54s - 2862.6s
But you're saying throw him in the NBA ORG where he could hang.
Speaker 212862.76s - 2863.76s
I think Nikua PERSON could hang.
Speaker 192863.88s - 2864.56s
There's guys who can hang.
Speaker 212864.78s - 2867.06s
We're talking Odell Beckham Jr.
Speaker 192867.18s - 2868.36s
You've got some skills.
Speaker 212868.48s - 2871.62s
Probably would only get into an NBA ORG during garbage time.
Speaker 192871.7s - 2875.98s
But I do, for the most part, agree with Rivers PERSON here.
Speaker 142875.98s - 2885.76s
I think the athleticism in the NBA, all the athleticism it requires to be in the NBA would translate quicker in the NFL ORG.
Speaker 212886.18s - 2887.1s
These dudes are quick.
Speaker 142887.2s - 2888.08s
They have good hands.
Speaker 192888.2s - 2899.58s
They're tall as hell. That's like saying you don't think LeBron could have played or could play in the NFL ORG if he dedicated his time to that. That's just one obvious example.
Speaker 212899.58s - 2929.64s
It's a tricky argument, right? It's a tricky argument because some sports require such a skill that is just not easy to obtain. The NFL ORG, learn the playbook, and I'm certainly not making it seem like Austin Rivers PERSON did, which is like, all you got to do is catch the ball and run. But if you have size, strength, speed, all the intangibles, if you're an athlete, I think you could be trained to be an NFL ORG player quicker than other sports.
Speaker 192929.86s - 2932.6s
Yeah. Basketball requires a level of skill.
Speaker 212932.6s - 2945.2s
Baseball requires a certain level of skill. Let me throw your curb ball, literally, pun intended. I don't think you could take any NBA player or NFL ORG player and put them in the batters box and expect them to hit over
Speaker 192945.2s - 2950.16s
over 100. We've seen the greatest NBA ORG player try to do it. Michael Jordan
Speaker 212950.16s - 2955.52s
defied all odds by batting like 200 in the minors. Again, specific skill.
Speaker 192956.46s - 2958.08s
So it's skill versus
Speaker 212958.08s - 2959.8s
size speed and strength, right?
Speaker 192959.94s - 2971.9s
Athleticism, yeah, like just brute athleticism. And I think that there's some truth to what he's saying. And that's not to minimize or downplay what it takes to make in the NFL ORG, but there's truth to it.
Speaker 212971.98s - 2994.48s
Without putting you on the spot, it's probably a quick Google spot if you want to do it. Someone, please just look up the size and weight of Carl Anthony Towns PERSON. What's Kat PERSON's numbers? Because I think of a guy with that size and strength if taken under someone's tutelage and said you know you're going to be a tight endyou don't think a guy like Carl Anthony Towns
Speaker 142994.48s - 3000.82s
got it what is he what is he he is seven feet tall and he weighs 248 pounds
Speaker 203000.82s - 3003.12s
that's too tall for the NFL
Speaker 143003.12s - 3011.96s
there's a certain cutoff like you're not you can't have a tackle be taller than like 6'8. But if cat beefed up and was like six feet.
Speaker 213012.26s - 3017.08s
If cat was 7 foot 288 put on 40 pounds of beef,
Speaker 203017.98s - 3021.54s
you don't think after a year of training he could play in the NFL ORG?
Speaker 213021.7s - 3022.92s
What would he play though?
Speaker 203023.36s - 3024.44s
Tight end, I think tight end?
Speaker 213024.7s - 3026.14s
He'd be a goal line threat.
Speaker 203027.24s - 3032.68s
Just saying, I hate to say it, but what Austin Rivers PERSON said is such a blanket statement,
Speaker 213032.98s - 3034.66s
but he's sort of right.
Speaker 193034.8s - 3040.54s
You know what, though? Maybe their speed isn't as elite as some of the speed we see in the NFL ORG. I don't know.
Speaker 143040.54s - 3052.4s
I also think there's levels to this because you could say, well, some NFL guys could play in the NBA ORG. But for 42, 43 minutes, we talked just last week about how many miles. What is it, Sam PERSON? Eight miles?
Speaker 203052.4s - 3054.28s
Yeah, it's like they run on average like eight miles a game.
Speaker 143054.56s - 3065.94s
I mean, the NFL ORG, you get to come off the field. And what happens to defenses when they stay on the field too long? They're winded. They're breathing heavy. They can't do it. Imagine running up and down a basketball court for eight miles. Now, I
Speaker 213065.94s - 3083.6s
look at Isaac Lohencrone and my first thought is I mean, the guy could probably fight. Hey, Isaac PERSON. You ever hit a punching bag for like a couple minutes? I'm a lover, not a fighter. You know what? I was wrong. You're right. But have any of you guys ever at the gym just for fun? Like, yeah, for cardio today?
Speaker 203083.68s - 3085.68s
Those are heavy. I'm just going to hit the heavy bag.
Speaker 113086.18s - 3087.6s
Isaac PERSON made love to the punching bag.
Speaker 203089.04s - 3102.36s
I've hit, like, a heavy bag. Didn't get any complaints. I've hit a heavy bag for five minutes, and I feel like I've went through a war. Your wrist hurt, your hands hurt. When you see these guys going 12 rounds of heavyweight boxing or middleweight. While getting punched back.
Speaker 193102.36s - 3103.06s
While getting punched.
Speaker 213103.18s - 3110.2s
Like, have I told you put on these sparring gloves, just hit the bag for five minutes, you'd be breathing heavy, keeling over.
Speaker 193110.2s - 3125.36s
They're conditioned for it, you know? And that's not, again, to downplay that. And again, they say, Austin Rivers PERSON are stowing out specific numbers. When I say I kind of agree with them, I just mean I think there's more NBA ORG players that could make it in the NFL ORG than vice versa.
Speaker 213126.48s - 3146.4s
You know, Spot PERSON just hitting the article, thank you, Spot PERSON. W. W.E. wrestler, Gable Stevenson PERSON, I don't know the guy well, but he looks like a beast. FormerU.S. GPE Olympic heavyweight wrestler gold medalist is getting some interest from NFL teams. Because what does he have?
Speaker 03146.88s - 3167.14s
Size, strength, athleticism. So I'm not saying the NFL ORG is easy by any means. I don't want that to, I don't want to come across like I'm saying that at all. But what I am saying is what could translate? And I think if you got those God-given intangibles, you could be worked with where I don't think you could just teach someone how to have a good jump shot or hit a curveball. You could teach someone to be strong, fit, and play football.
Speaker 193167.34s - 3193.98s
In fact, the only story that comes to mind right off the bat of, hey, we found the guy who's giant and we're going to teach him to play basketball is the minute ball story. You know, and that was a rare story. Hey, he's a big giant dude in Africa LOC. You know what? You're the guy. We're going to teach you how to play basketball. Think of how many times spot. You don't really hear that that much because it takes such a skill level, a man of skill. To play in the NBA ORG. Hey, I have to
Speaker 203193.98s - 3207.76s
make a quick correction. I'm sorry. I was way off. So the average, the distance someone doesn't tweet at me, the average distance in NBA ORG, I don't know where I got eight miles from. It's between two and a half and three miles. So please don't tweet at me that I was way off because I was way off. So I just wanted to make question. I think you just had Emin got eight miles from. It's between two and a half and three miles. So please don't tweet at me that I was way offbecause I was way off. So I just wanted to make questions.
Speaker 223207.76s - 3209.96s
I think you just had M&M ORG on your brain. That's
Speaker 143209.96s - 3212.08s
still more. We had one shot. Two and a half to three
Speaker 223212.08s - 3213.84s
miles again, not eight miles. So I just want to correct
Speaker 143213.84s - 3219.56s
that way off. That's still more miles than all of us run in a month. Whatever. What's that? Mom's spaghetti off your shirt.
Speaker 203219.82s - 3221.82s
I was Sam PERSON, you moron. I don't know
Speaker 193221.82s - 3223.64s
where I got that from. I don't know where I got that from.
Speaker 203223.64s - 3229.06s
Anyway, I don't want it to make it seem like I think anyone could play football.
Speaker 213229.7s - 3230.6s
Don't get a twisted.
Speaker 203230.72s - 3234.42s
I'm not saying that. It's just what could you be trainable in? And the best example.
Speaker 193234.5s - 3238.22s
By the way, you're not saying it. We're just sort of agreeing with Rivers PERSON a little bit.
Speaker 213238.22s - 3238.94s
A little bit.
Speaker 193238.94s - 3244.32s
No, I think Rivers PERSON is right in that all these sports are way out of the caliber of a regular guy to play.
Speaker 213244.32s - 3245.9s
He just made a blanket in both
Speaker 193245.9s - 3248.04s
statement. Again, he says, I can take 30
Speaker 213248.04s - 3250.14s
players. 30 players
Speaker 193250.14s - 3252.12s
right now from the NBA, throw him in the NFL ORG.
Speaker 213252.3s - 3260.08s
You can't take 30 NFL ORG players, put him in the NBA ORG. You know what? Then I will say, I agree with him. Really? I don't think either is possible. I'll give you the example.
Speaker 143260.18s - 3275.54s
There's someone in this room that doesn't have an ounce of athleticism, but he's a great guy. He's sitting two people to the right of me. Isaac Lowencrown PERSON? No, two. Oh, spot.Because Spot PERSON's a big guy. Spot's like 6'1, 200 pounds. Spot PERSON was approached, but you were a chubbier guy.
Speaker 03275.7s - 3277.6s
You were a chubbyer guy in high school.
Speaker 223277.94s - 3280.1s
The football coach approached you nonstop.
Speaker 173280.22s - 3282.84s
Like, oh, Christian, Spot PERSON, you should join the football team.
Speaker 223283.08s - 3288.32s
Because back, for the most part, if you're big, that's like a big part of it.
Speaker 213288.32s - 3289.34s
I just wanted to play the trumpet.
Speaker 143290.24s - 3292.92s
It's like, no, no, no, I could teach you the footwork to be a lineman.
Speaker 223293.12s - 3294.2s
I just want to play the trumpet.
Speaker 143294.42s - 3296.04s
I just want to play when the Saints ORG go marching in.
Speaker 223296.5s - 3300.16s
So with that said, I wanted to play Let's Go ORG band in the worst way.
Speaker 143302.4s - 3304.06s
That's my contribution to the team.
Speaker 193304.68s - 3306.22s
All right, well, hey, your thoughts,
Speaker 143306.42s - 3308.4s
do you agree with Austin Rivers PERSON or not?
Speaker 193308.46s - 3309.16s
We'll take your feedback.
Speaker 143309.42s - 3312.34s
And spot, you know, the trumpet player, not football player?
Speaker 193312.34s - 3314.16s
You mean the non-athletic chubby guy, as you called?
Speaker 213314.16s - 3314.66s
Yeah, thanks.
Speaker 193314.78s - 3315.8s
That guy, he's got me.
Speaker 213315.8s - 3317.76s
You went way low on my weight, which felt great.
Speaker 193317.86s - 3318.9s
I know, I said 200 pounds.
Speaker 213319.4s - 3320.06s
Jeez, look at.
Speaker 193320.26s - 3321.1s
That's what friends do.
Speaker 213323.88s - 3331.22s
The big take from Bloomberg News brings you what's shaping the world's economies with the smartest and best-informed business reporters around the world.
Speaker 193331.6s - 3333.56s
Western nations like the U.S. in Europe LOC.
Speaker 213333.88s - 3336.92s
Mexico will likely have its first female president.
Speaker 193337.34s - 3338.1s
And then you have China GPE.
Speaker 73338.7s - 3342.14s
And help you understand what's happening, what it means, and why it matters.
Speaker 313342.44s - 3344.82s
He'll get his yo-yo's to Europe LOC and time.
Speaker 133345.38s - 3348.66s
But the longer this drags on, the more worry he's getting.
Speaker 353348.84s - 3353.72s
They knew that they needed to do this as fast as they possibly could to get a drug on the market
Speaker 133353.72s - 3355.56s
as fast as they could.
Speaker 313355.78s - 3356.48s
I'm David Gurra PERSON.
Speaker 333356.68s - 3357.44s
I'm Sarah Holder PERSON.
Speaker 313357.64s - 3358.52s
I'm Salaya Mosin PERSON.
Speaker 353358.82s - 3361.64s
We cover the stories behind what's moving money and markets.
Speaker 233362.18s - 3365.68s
Basically, everyone was expecting, if not a calamity, certainly a recession.
Speaker 333366.04s - 3370.08s
But the problem is that that paperwork, as our reporting showed, is fake.
Speaker 03370.36s - 3374.56s
Someone who's covering the market, I'm often very worried about an imminent collapse.
Speaker 323374.9s - 3376.34s
I'm thinking about it quite often.
Speaker 13377.52s - 3382.52s
Listen to the big take on the IHard Radio app, Apple ORG Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Speaker 73383.52s - 3389.08s
I'm Saleh-Mossent, and I've covered economic policy for years and reported on how it impacts
Speaker 343389.08s - 3406.36s
people across the United States GPE. In 2016, I saw how voters were leaning towards Trump and how so many Americans NORP felt misunderstood by Washington GPE. So I started the Big Take, D.C. We dig into how money, politics, and power shaped government and the consequences for voters.
Speaker 133406.7s - 3412.14s
It's an election year, so there's a lot of focus on the voters that TikTok ORG is reaching.
Speaker 123412.4s - 3423.66s
The initial reaction is like, oh, things are looking so resilient. I don't want to be too pessimistic, but I just don't see the political will down in Washington GPE right now to change their tune.
Speaker 53424.78s - 3433.06s
I think the American NORP electorate has been signaling that it expects a rematch of the 2020 election. These are unprecedented times.
Speaker 343434.14s - 3442.72s
With new episodes every Thursday, you can listen to the Big Take DC WORK_OF_ART on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts ORG, or whatever you get your podcasts.
Speaker 33443.86s - 3455.68s
I'm Hannah Storm, and my podcast, NBA DNA with Hannah Storm WORK_OF_ART, digs deep into the history of professional basketball, along with my own as one of the first female sportscasters.
Speaker 43455.9s - 3459.02s
Now let's get you up to speed on what else happened around the NBA today.
Speaker 33459.02s - 3467.38s
We talked to all sorts of people I interacted with from Dr. Jay to Charles Barkley and recap iconic moments. Yes, he's got it. Here he comes. All sorts of people I interacted with from Dr. Jay to Charles Barkley PERSON. And recap iconic moments.
Speaker 163468.14s - 3468.3s
Yes, he's got it.
Speaker 33469s - 3476.3s
Here he comes. We rock the baby to sleep and slam dunk. As well as some of the wild stories behind the scenes. We were like, what?
Speaker 23476.48s - 3481.04s
What are we in for? The scoreboard crashes before we even tip a game off.
Speaker 33481.3s - 3488.2s
Today, the NBA ORG is a global sports and entertainment giant. Players are multimillionaires and cultural icons.
Speaker 163488.32s - 3493.84s
Igadala to Curry PERSON. Back to Igadala PERSON. Up for the layup. Oh, blocked by James. LeBron James PERSON.
Speaker 33493.88s - 3512.96s
And these stories are about how we got here, both on and off the court. And what's next? Listen to NBA DNA with Hannah Store on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts ORG, or wherever you get your podcasts. Yeah.
Speaker 193513.5s - 3514.32s
Kavino and Rich PERSON.
Speaker 213515.08s - 3516.02s
Is this sports radio?
Speaker 193516.34s - 3532.92s
Two in a room? Is that who sings Wiggle It WORK_OF_ART? Dude, when he says, as it grooves, you feel the tension in the air and now you're hype, Sprockets. It gets me so hyped. I'm not even kidding you.I want to do the running man right now to this song.
Speaker 223533.04s - 3538.94s
Get up. Do it. You getting down because the sound is just your type. Do it.
Speaker 193539.26s - 3540.84s
Rich PERSON says there's no wiggle room.
Speaker 143541.08s - 3546.54s
But we say wiggle it, just a little bit. Shake it. Don't break it. Take about a nine months to make it.
Speaker 193547.82s - 3552s
Kavino and Rich on Fox Sports Radio ORG. We got Iowa Sam on the ones and twos with the wiggle it.
Speaker 213552.06s - 3580.52s
We are running super late. We got to get it to midweek major. Real quick, though, Sean hit us up in Southern California LOC. He just had to wrap up that last conversation. Could NBA players play in the NFL ORG? Could NFL players hop on the NBA ORG court? He goes, forget all that. Try to put a pair of ice skates on any of them. Hockey is the most specific sport. And then tell them to fight. Fighting. Yeah, you go to a hockey game. You're like, man, these guys are moving so fast on skates and doing a skill. Right.
Speaker 143580.68s - 3585.26s
Yeah. And for the soccer fans who listen to our show, talk about a lot of running. Yeah. Those guys can have Taco Bell every night and to our show, talk about a lot of running. Yeah.
Speaker 213585.9s - 3587.88s
Those guys can have Taco Bell every night and burn it off.
Speaker 193588s - 3613.68s
They have zones. We are live from a tire rack.com studio. And again, next Friday, May 17, taking our radio show to Eugene, Oregon, live for 2 to 4 p.m., graduate hotel, 66th, East 6th Avenue, kicking off the Oregon, Washington State triple header weekend. So come out and have fun as part of the live studio audience. Win prizes. Danny G.signing autographs. And don't forget, we got that happy hour party afterwards from 4 to 6 p.m.
Speaker 213613.82s - 3614.2s
Yeah.
Speaker 193614.32s - 3633.86s
And just make note that we're doing the same exact thing the following weekend, May 24th, Tempe, Arizona GPE. So we'd love to see you there, bring some friends. Again, we're Covino and Rich PERSON. Details at Covino and Rich ORG. And your thoughts on the whole Austin Rivers comment about football players and basketball players.Continue there at Kovino and Rich. But it's time.
Speaker 183634s - 3649.7s
Midweek Major. Covino PERSON and Rich gets you over the middle of the week with Midweek Major EVENT. I love that. We throw sports and pop culture headlines and topics at the fellas, and it's like the kids say.
Speaker 313649.8s - 3652.56s
That's so mid-week. Definitely major.
Speaker 183652.8s - 3656.22s
C&R scoring. Midweek major.
Speaker 143659.26s - 3674.34s
Remix because we're running late. When you hear the horns come in, that means you know we have made it to the middle of the week. Yeah. Before we hand things over the number one host and only host of this segment, we are going to roll the big red love dice in the main studio. This is to see who gets first take.
Speaker 193674.46s - 3676.38s
Nine, baby. Kravino got nine.
Speaker 143677.5s - 3679.86s
Now, Rich roll with an 11?
Speaker 193680.06s - 3689.92s
Yeah, Rich goes first. All right. All right. And now, ladies and gentlemen, the most famous person from Scotch Plains, New Jersey GPE, besides Judy Bloom, Spotty Boy PERSON.
Speaker 223690s - 3719.64s
I love how I prep all day and only get to read one story. If you finally got around to watching the greatest roast of all time, the Netflix ORG roast of Tom Brady PERSON, your experience may be a bit different than those who watched it live. A few of the moments apparently from the live stream were edited or adjusted for replay. Most notably, Kim Kardashian when she was introduced by Kevin Hart PERSON, got tons of booze. But if you watch it now, when she, the announcer, she walks up and just starts talking. There's no booze. What gives?
Speaker 243719.92s - 3724.74s
But some of the other awkward moments were kept in, like when Brady jumped up about the Robert Kraft PERSON thing,
Speaker 213725.1s - 3726.8s
the Aaron Hernandez PERSON thing was left in.
Speaker 243727.06s - 3728.46s
So who knows if they'll continue editing.
Speaker 213728.58s - 3732.38s
I'm sort of torn, but I'm going to say weak. Week.
Speaker 83732.48s - 3734.64s
Week. I'll tell you what. Week.
Speaker 213734.64s - 3735.76s
We're rewriting history.
Speaker 83736s - 3751.28s
I don't like when people do that. It's like Alicia Keys hit a sour note at the Super Bowl EVENT halftime show. And when you watch the replay, they fix the note. Like, that's not what happened. Kim PERSON got booed. Love it or hate it.It happened. So I don't know why we're adjusting it.
Speaker 213752.2s - 3754.1s
Netflix ORG, I'm not feeling it. I think it's weak.
Speaker 193754.44s - 3777.84s
It's not weak at all. But it's not mid, so I'm just going with major by default because the whole event was major. It was live. It aired live. If you missed what happened live, that's on was major. It was live. It aired live. If you missed what happened live, that's on you because it was live. So if they have the option to edit it up for your viewing pleasures later on,they clean it up, they make it shorter. It was three hours long.
Speaker 213777.84s - 3783.48s
So make it bearable. They did that with the Chris Rock special to the aired live.
Speaker 193783.6s - 3785.16s
He flubbed the line. They edited it.
Speaker 143785.8s - 3792.26s
But Cove PERSON, not booing somebody. That'd be like, you know, Roger Goodell PERSON always gets famously booed. It's endearing. That's part of it.
Speaker 193792.34s - 3794.22s
Why are you going to take out the booing of Kim Kay PERSON?
Speaker 213794.54s - 3795.9s
Look, it wasn't the only thing.
Speaker 143796.06s - 3798.5s
That's just part of it. Yeah, Danny Chee PERSON's best of. He cuts out all my bad jokes.
Speaker 193800.5s - 3801.64s
You'll miss that joke later.
Speaker 223801.86s - 3803.46s
You get a better product.
Speaker 193803.7s - 3804.46s
It's cleaned up.
Speaker 223804.52s - 3805.3s
You have the option. You had the option to see it live. You get a better product. It's cleaned up. You have the option.
Speaker 193805.92s - 3809.06s
You had the option to see it live. You chose not to. There you go.
Speaker 223809.5s - 3846.14s
All right. On to Travis and Taylor PERSON news, because we get that every week. Actress and singer, John A Kramer PERSON, Rich PERSON, I know you're a big fan of her. She's super hot. Getting some flack for comments she made about Travis Kelsey PERSON on her podcast, wind down. She had some scathing comments about Kelsey PERSON's partying ways and drinking, saying that he drinks way too much. He always seems drunk. Whenever she sees him, partying, he just always seems drunk and thinks thathe's going to be a bad influence on Taylor PERSON, saying that already she feels like she's drinking more since they started dating. Kelsey PERSON responded,it was the greatest thing. He was like, Johnah PERSON, who had no idea who Johna Kramer PERSON is. And I believe.
Speaker 213846.14s - 3855.7s
Has no idea why she's even chiming in on his life, midweek or major. Dude, I think she's super hot. And with all due respect, she's been divorced three times and she's like 30 or something. So it's like a,
Speaker 223855.7s - 3859.82s
it's like a fat trainer at the gym. You take an advice from that guy? What does she talk about
Speaker 243859.82s - 3863.94s
relationship? Stay in your lane. You don't even know him. I think it's weak. Yeah,
Speaker 223863.98s - 3870.38s
I think it's weak too. She doesn't know the guy. And it's on her podcast. It's like, so she basically
Speaker 193870.38s - 3875.36s
said it in her basement and everyone's making a big deal about it. And we all know podcasts are like
Speaker 213875.36s - 3883.06s
opinions. Go on. Everybody has one. And much like her opinion, it stinks. So, yeah, why should Kelsey
Speaker 243883.06s - 3885.5s
pretend like he knows her? No offense, she's a good-looking girl.
Speaker 193885.54s - 3889.06s
She's a great actress. But who cares what she thinks about his relationship? True.
Speaker 223889.22s - 3929.04s
Or him. All right. The Indianapolis star columnist who had the awkward encounter with Caitlin Clark a few weeks back. Remember you made that like heart hands thing? Like, I hope you do that to me. Well, anyway, he's been slapped with a suspension. The team, Greg Doyle gave him, or they gave Greg Doyle two-week suspension from the star. He's returning next week. But apparently he will not be attending any of the Indiana fever games over the summer. And he'll just be reporting on it from his home, watching them on television. So he's still going to be doing his column, but not attending any games, midweeker major. Is that a reward? Oh, it's not?
Speaker 353929.68s - 3930.78s
Not going to the...
Speaker 223930.78s - 3931.58s
Okay, I'm sorry.
Speaker 213932.32s - 3945.92s
Mid, dude, this guy's assignment is the Indiana ORG fever. Until Kately Clark was on the team, that seems like a punishment. Like, he blew his one chance to be part of something relevant. This guy's a bozo, but I sort of feel bad for him. It's a mid-story. I think he's really weak because he be part of something relevant. This guy's a bozo, but I sort of feel bad for him. It's a mid-story.
Speaker 193946.16s - 3955.1s
I think he's really weak because he was part of the weak-ass Indiana ORG fever press. And now he finally has a chance to be part of something cool, part of something big.
Speaker 163955.56s - 3956.72s
And he blew it.
Speaker 213957.1s - 3958.46s
And they're being a little hard on him.
Speaker 163958.62s - 3962.44s
They are. This is so weak. Yeah, I think it's very weak because. It's way over punishment.
Speaker 203962.44s - 3965.84s
He was awkward in the moment, but he apologized immediately.
Speaker 03965.84s - 3966.44s
Two weeks suspension.
Speaker 203966.44s - 3968.18s
They made a big deal about him.
Speaker 03968.24s - 3977.14s
I think they're really overprotecting her at this point. And she's going to have to deal with a hell of a lot more than that. And they're suspending a guy, or not suspending a guy, but they're not letting him cover for a year?
Speaker 203977.14s - 3981.2s
He got a two weeks suspension and he doesn't get to do live in-game coverage.
Speaker 193981.46s - 3982.04s
That is lame.
Speaker 223982.62s - 3983.24s
Late week.
Speaker 193983.68s - 3984.38s
One more quick.
Speaker 223984.54s - 3986.88s
One more quickie because this is so sad.
Speaker 203987.54s - 4021.36s
The Oakland A's as they plan their move, fans are just abandoning the team left and right. Stats have been released regarding fan attendance. Apparently current attendance is about 6,000 fans per game, and they released stats saying that 553 sports teams in U.S. GPE based leagues are averaging more fans per home game, including this is such, so sad. Three indoor football leagues, two college wrestling teams, a professional woman's volleyball team, 13 minor league baseball teams, 11 minor league hockey teams, and the list goes on and on.
Speaker 214021.36s - 4024.06s
And the LSU ORG gymnastics teams, because of Livy Dunn PERSON.
Speaker 224026.64s - 4034.88s
It's just so sad. And there was a poll put out by a Vegas GPE tourism account. Apparently, like, 50 to 60 percent of people don't even care that they're moving to Vegas GPE.
Speaker 214038.06s - 4038.18s
I'm going to say it's weak on behalf of them.
Speaker 224039.22s - 4041.52s
Kavino PERSON, did you see? I think they're 500 again. They won today.
Speaker 144048.36s - 4048.62s
And there's a lot of memes saying, are they the real life Cleveland Indians when the owners in the movie Major League tried to lose? Yeah, they're just below 500.
Speaker 194053.78s - 4059.44s
Just below one game below? I think it's super weak because that's an organization with a lot of great history. Anything about the 1989 team, all those big stars that played in the late 80s,
Speaker 144059.48s - 4064.82s
the Bash brothers, Dave Stewart, Bob Welsh PERSON, all those dudes. They had some great histories to see
Speaker 194064.82s - 4065.48s
where they are now.
Speaker 214065.56s - 4069.6s
And it's so sad to think that the Savannah GPE bananas probably have a bigger turnout.
Speaker 194069.9s - 4075.1s
By far than the Oakland Athletics ORG, it's about time they rebrand them,
Speaker 214075.18s - 4075.76s
sent them to Vegas GPE.
Speaker 04075.9s - 4076.82s
People will show up for them.
Speaker 244077.24s - 4079.16s
Sacramento is the biggest winner in this.
Speaker 144079.24s - 4080.2s
They're the most excited.
Speaker 244080.6s - 4087.14s
And if we had a baseball team in Southern California LOC with a crappy owner and we knew they were moving away, we wouldn't go to the games either.
Speaker 144087.3s - 4090.94s
That's true. By the way, the A's are doing better than the Angels ORG.
Speaker 244091.42s - 4093.86s
And in the last place, Houston Astros ORG, who knew?
Speaker 04094.32s - 4094.88s
Thank you, Spott PERSON.
Speaker 184095.02s - 4095.4s
Thank you.
Speaker 144095.46s - 4096.34s
Let's go to Ilo GPE.
Speaker 214096.52s - 4097.82s
Arzic Lone Kron. What's up, buddy?
Speaker 114099.82s - 4116.14s
Guys, I have a crazy new detail about Shohei Otani PERSON and I have a quiz. Finally, we have a boxing story for you, too, that involves the quiz. There was a famous trailblazing female professional boxer during the 1990s named Christy Martin PERSON. You guys remember her?
Speaker 04116.36s - 4131.16s
First woman boxer to appear on the cover of Sports Illustrated ORG. First woman boxer to be signed by Don King PERSON. Well, Deadline Hollywood ORG reports a new biopic about Christy Martin PERSON is in the work. So I want the two of you to guess who will be portraying Christy Martin PERSON.
Speaker 194131.3s - 4133.6s
I know who it is. All right.
Speaker 114135.5s - 4136.16s
Speaker 194136.2s - 4136.86s
You are right.
Speaker 204137.04s - 4146.92s
And her speedbanks. I'll bounce those things like sugar in Leonard. That's a movie quote.
Speaker 244147.04s - 4147.68s
I hope you guys know.
Speaker 204148.72s - 4149.54s
I was Sam PERSON.
Speaker 144149.72s - 4149.98s
Okay.
Speaker 204150.34s - 4150.8s
You win.
Speaker 244150.8s - 4152.7s
I think you have to dump yourself right there.
Speaker 214152.8s - 4154.04s
No, he just not.
Speaker 144154.28s - 4155.9s
That's from liar,
Speaker 214156s - 4156.22s
liar.
Speaker 204156.46s - 4156.86s
Yes.
Speaker 214157.02s - 4157.7s
Movie quote.
Speaker 144157.78s - 4158.1s
It counts.
Speaker 204158.1s - 4159.74s
On that note, Isaac PERSON, thank you.
Speaker 214159.82s - 4160.06s
Thank you.
Speaker 204160.18s - 4160.82s
