What the flying hoot? The 49ers tried to steal Jeff Ulbrich this offseason. Let's get into it. Zoinks.

Speaker 032.82s - 33.02s

It is unequivocally the Super Bowl for New York Jet ORG fans.

Speaker 136.94s - 37.06s

Field Yates, baby. Field Gasdard Yates PERSON. Let's bring him on the show.

Speaker 040.3s - 40.66s

Come on, people. Connor PERSON Rogers is joining the show. What's up, Connor?

Speaker 146.94s - 47.2s

But Trevor Gasdard-Sikama, baby. For me, personally, my favorite New York Jet ORG of all time.

Speaker 050s - 69.3s

Wow, it's great to be on. What an intro that was right there. Paul PERSON, nobody does an intro like you, man. Paul PERSON, you give the best intro of literally any podcast that I've ever seen. I'm gonna lose my G my gosh darn bananas.

Speaker 170.32s - 627.14s

What's poppin', everybody? Paul Asden, Jr., a.k.a. Boy Green PERSON. I'm the New York Jets digital reporter for Heavy.com ORG. And you can also find that in the video or audio version. Video live right now on Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter ORG. Audio version also wherever you find your podcast. Here's the thing. So there were some Jeff Ulbrich whispers over the last couple weeks. And I tracked down the whispers. And the whispers came from a random 49ers ORG mailbag in the athletic, you know, or, you know, somewhere out there in the 49ers land. 49ers land that it was not reporting just a suggestion as 49ers people were discussing who could possibly be the replacement for the defensive coordinator with Steve Wilkes fired. And the source, again, screamed it from the rooftops. This is not a report. This is just my random speculation. So I saw that. And obviously we do a show every day here. Wenever did a show on the Jeff Ulbrich PERSON stuff because I was kind of like, eh, you know, let's do something when there's something worth doing. Well, now we've officially heard that that's no longer rumor, random thought, Phil PERSON. That happened. Shout out to Zach Rosenblatt of The Athletic ORG who had the scoopski potato. Here are some key details. We also have a full article in the YouTube description down below.Zach Rosenblatt of the athletic shirt in a column posted yesterday that the 49ers, quote, had conversations about, end quote, stealing defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich PERSON. Rosenblatt PERSON also said there was, quote unquote, mutual interest in exploring a marriage on both sides. And once I saw that, I'm like, well, well again i guess let's go to the good news first jeff olberich is staying there's nowhere for him to go adam schefter shared on march 2nd a couple of days ago that the 49ers ORG ended up promoting defensive passing game specialist nick sorensen to the dc role so the good news i guess and all of this is uh he ain't going anywhere this is oneof their stories they tried to grab him but they were unsuccessful in their attempts, apparently. That one would have been devastating. The Jets ORG have lost a ton of coaches, mostly on the offensive side of the ball. There's been a spot guy here or there on defense, but it's been mostly on offense with guys like Taylor Embry PERSON, the running back coach, Zach Azani, the wide receivers coach, Rob Calabrese PERSON, the quarterback coach. And some of them, they let them go and others they left on their own, whatever the case may be. But most of it has come on the offensive side of the ball. Now, quick explanation on that. It's probably not the worst thing in the world. Like you don't like this mass exodus of people running for the doors in theory, in a perception standpoint. But when you come off one of the worst offensive years and jets franchise history, if they're switching a lot of deck chairs on the Titanic PRODUCT for the offensive side of the ball, I don't think that one's bad to be honest with you. I don't think that one's a bad at all about that happening or the offensivecoaching staff changing dramatically. Now on defense, losing Jeff Ulbrich PERSON would have been a crippling blow for this team. Robert Sauer's never called defense since he's been here with the Jets ORG. It's always been Jeff Ulbrich's task. The first year was incredibly rough. All the analytics and statistics were terrible and people were calling for Jeff Ulbrich's PERSON job. But, you know, like a fine wine, he got better with age, and now he's turned into this spectacular coach for the Jets ORG.Now, I can understand, as Zach Rosenblatt PERSON reported, that there was mutual interest between Ulbrich and San Francisco GPE, and here's why. It's very simple. Ulbrich has been very upfront about what he wants to do. He wants to be an NFL ORG head coach. And the best way to be a NFL head coach is to dominate and do well, which he's done with the Jets ORG, but also be on a winningteam. And he hasn't been on a winning team. The Jets ORG have not won. So his efforts have gone to waste. His efforts have not been recognized properly in the spotlight for that. So that's been the thing on Jeff Ulbrich PERSON. So I could understand why Jeff Ulbrich goes, well, you know, the 49ers ORG need a DC. I'm a DC. And the last couple of 49ers ORG head coaches, or excuse me,the last couple of 49ers ORG DCs became head coaches. Robert Sala, his boss, and D'Amico Ryans PERSON. So the 49ers ORG win. They've been in, what, four of the last five years, been in a couple of NFC title games to Superbowl appearances like they're in your face, which raises your profile as a coach. So if you're coaching andyour unit's doing well, and in theory, the team is doing well from a winning perspective, you gain a lot more interest. So I am rooting like hell for Jeff Ulbrich PERSON. I, you know, eventually, not this year, but eventually I want Jeff Ulbrich to get a job as a head coach. He deserves it. Seems like a great guy. Former player, been in the league a decade. Carved his way up over the last 10 years. Also in the assistant coaching world and working his way up. So I'm rooting like hell for Jeff Ulbrich PERSON to get a job. I'm hoping the Jets win the championship and then, okay, Ulbrich PERSON, you know, the vultures come for your players and coaches. But I'm just so glad that apparently Robert Sala PERSON and the Jets refused to allow Ulbrich PERSON to leave. Here it is. Quote, ultimately, this is from Zach Rosenblatt's PERSON piece, ultimately the Jets made it clear that they were not going to let Ulbr to leave. Here it is. Quote, ultimately, this is from Zach Rosenblatt's PERSON piece. Ultimately, the Jets made it clear that they were not going to let Ulbricht PERSON leave. Teams can block coaches under contract from taking jobs with other teams unless it is a promotion from a position coach to a coordinator or coordinator to head coach, which was not the case here. End quote. Yeah, the 49ers were trying to do a lateral move. And there's only two ways that could have happened.Number one, if the Jets ORG allowed it to happen. And why would they? That makes no sense whatsoever. And then number two, a trade, basically, where the 49ers gave up draft compensation to the Jets ORG, which sounds nice in theory, but I wouldn't have been for it. So keep Ulbricht PERSON, keep this unit together. There's a bunch of changes on the offensive side of the ball. Hackett PERSON and some of the main characters are still there, but there's all this swipping and swapping all over the place, and Aaron Rodgers PERSON is going to be back. You know your defense has been really good the last two years. Keep the train rolling. Try to have some level of continuity on that sideof the ball that is massively and critically important. So, yeah, this report, I was like angry. I don't know what that like. What the hell? 49ers ORG back off, pal. Back up. Back up.That was kind of my theory or thought or reaction. Like, go kick rocks, pal. Go find your own guy. So I'm really excited for the defense this year because two things first off the offense should be immensely better which should put this defense in even better positions to rush the passer and jump things for turnovers because if you're playing a team right jets play the billsweek one let's just say and the jets get on top of the bills i don't know 10 nothing 14 nothing whatever all of a sudden the pressure starts to create where the Bills ORG are like, oh, man, we can't just run the ball anymore. We got to pass the biscuit here. And the Jets ORG know they're passing the biscuit. So that increases the pass rush opportunities. And then on the back end, obviously, you know, for jumping routes, they're like, oh, we know a pass is coming like every play. So you can get a little frisky on some of those comeback routes, curl routes and things where corners and safeties can kind of jump some of those routes. Jordan Whitehead, the Bills ORG killer himself, you know, you get some of those ops. So that's what I'm excited about, because I think there is another level to unlock here with the Ulbricht defense and the other level to unlock for Ulbricht's hopes and desires of eventually becoming an NFL ORG head coach with the team winning, being present, and then his defense also being excellent. So I'm rooting like hell for that. So, yeah, that stunned me a little bit. Because, again, we didn't do the show when I heard that rumor from a mailbag. I'm like, that's not enough. That's not enough to do a boy green daily. Sorry, it didn't crack the code.It didn't crack the code. But, you know, now that we get it from Rosenblatt and the full reporting of it, okay. That one got a little spicy. Alright, let's dive into some of your questions. Feel free, wherever you're watching, drop in a question or comment. Super Chaps, skip the queue, baby. So feel free to send that in if you'd like to support the show. Or join the Boy Green Super Fan Club ORG on YouTube ORG. YouTube membership. All right. Let's see. That's a good one from shadow realm. I'm going to fire this defense up even more when he decides to stay, which he has. So,yeah, I would imagine that, you know, you want to feel wanted both as a coach and the players. So for him to choose the jets or like san francisco not to give up stuff however you want to evaluate it that's cool i think the players are really goingto rally around that he's beloved that's the word zach resa PERSON blight used in his piece uh john sour part of our uh boy green superfan club uh morning gang for a team that sucks the rest of the NFL sure seems to love our coaching staff. Any interest in Woody PERSON, I wonder.

Speaker 0628.04s - 629.98s

TBD. You put him on the trade block,

Speaker 1630.1s - 706.58s

see what nibbles you get on the fishing line. I imagine not. Okay, we got Matthias the Greenhouse present. Okay, very nice. Alright, Ilike that. Okay, for content providers, I like it. Okay. For content providers, I like it. Greenhouse ORG. Phil PERSON. I would have not been happy for Olbrich. I would not have been happy if Olbrich was poached from us because he could have been easily swapped for Sala PERSON.Should have happened. I'm a little confused by that. easily swapped for Salah should have happened. I'm a little confused by that, but I think the point is, is that, um, Ulbricht PERSON has been calling the defense the entire time. And if let's just say they hire no one, let's just say Robertson PERSON was like, all right, I'll call defensive plays. I think that's worse because we want Salah PERSON in the role that he promised at his introductory press conference, the CEO role. We had the coach of the offense coach of the defense. That was right before solid. That was Adam Gase and Greg Williams PERSON. And that was a disaster. So I want a guy that has the pulse on the entire team. That's most important to me. Uh, Jared B.I sent you a link on Instagram to story on february 22nd yeah so i had

Speaker 0706.58s - 716.54s

Heard of it i saw matt o'leary PERSON do a Video on it but yeah once i got to the Bottom of it and saw it was some random Kind of rumor in a mailbag it just Wasn't enough for me but again getting

Speaker 1716.54s - 1979.74s

This fully vetted story here from Rosenblatt PERSON great scoop by him that one Is uh you know that's that's when it Got to the level to jump on the show um uh what's your take on runyon this one coming from johnny on youtube i'm all for it yeah he he's one of the more underrated free agents i know people have an immediate disgust or disdainfor former aaron rogers teammates joining the jets but yeah yeah well here's the thing okay we're less than a week away from the legal tampering period and then two days later is uh free agency it's all coming to us how are the jets going to attack this um do you go big fish hunting and go for the robert hunts the Rams kid, Kevin Dotson PERSON? Do you go that deep in Lake and Tomlinson PERSON level deals and just hit smack and home runs right off the get-go?Or to your point, do you go with a guy who's going to be cheaper, a Runyon, maybe a Kevin Zeitler PERSON? I'm trying to think of another older veteran, whoever. But you know my point? Instead of going Mike Onwenu PERSON, who's another guy you could go for, are you going for more stopgap?Like this person I'm about to say isn't out there, but Alan Fanica PERSON, you know what I mean? That you bring in Tyron Smith PERSON basically, but on the interior, you bring in a guy that's going to fill this gap for a certain period of time. Is there a guy like that out there? I don't know. But you need a lot of bodies. You need at least three starters. It doesn't have to all come in for agency, of course. There's trade. There's the draft. But you need three starters plus depth. And then if there are any of those kind of starters that have injury histories, like David Bakhtiari PERSON, who, again, I would not be for as an outright starter, but on the team, why not? Tyron Smith PERSON, who's missed a couple of games. You would need a reliable guy to be able to step up. Is that Carter Warren PERSON?Is he the swing tackle? I don't know. But, yeah, so Runyon PRODUCT, sure. I love Runyon PRODUCT. I think the price isn't going to be too crazy either on Runyon PRODUCT. It's Snoopy PERSON.How can anyone be optimistic when the staff don't even believe in the vision? I don't know. I can't speak for other people, but I try to spread the good word, baby. Give you guys some juice. Give you guys some chutzpah, you know. I'm always optimistic.I know a lot of people are down after last year. Not me, baby. Aaron Rodgers PERSON, this team, I'm fired up. I still think this team can win a championship, can win a ring, baby. I'm fired up. I see the path, the plan.Of course, there's things to be done, as we've been talking about. Offensive line, wide receivers, this, that, and the other, and some sneaky needs. We'll talk about that a little bit later today. We'll be live at 3 o'clock talking about some interior defensive linemen. And a homecoming, perhaps, for the J Jets ORG or maybe making another swing. I got a couple of names that intrigue me on the veteran defensive tackle market.Good morning to my mother. You know, I don't like calling her Michelle PERSON. That's kind of weird, but I mean, that's a name that's, I just call her mom also within them. Thank you, mom. Good morning.Welcome to the show. Appreciate you always diving in with your good morning comments. Very nice. Spreads a great positivity on Facebook. Let's see. It's Snoopy PERSON. Rogers couldn't do it in Green Bay facing way less. Again, if you don't want to believe Snoopy, you don't have to. But for me, I feel confident. I believe the roster construction is better with the jets than it is the backers. They don't have a Garrett Wilson PERSON. They don't have a sauce gardener. You could maybe call Jair Alexander PERSON that if you want, but he was kind of a basket case last year. Yeah. I don't, we have Quinn and Williams PERSON. I don't know. You go through the entire thing. All the blue chippers on this team, Brees PERSON hall. They've got a Brees PERSON Hall. Aaron Jones PERSON is pretty good, but he's older. Yeah, again, I'll take our team over that team.No question. Let's go. Okay. Mitch, I'm hoping the Packers are trying to get free agent Clark PERSON at safety. I hope the Jets bring back Chuck Clark PERSON, to be honest with you. I think that's that one-year prove-it deal.Hey, man, you got injured last year, but let's run it back. Let's see the mission through. Let's see it through. And I'd love Chuck Clark PERSON back. You got Tony Adams PERSON. And then as Connor Rodgers PERSON has been saying, you need a third startable starting caliber safety, just normally in a defense plus the depth. Is that Ashton PERSON? I don't know. I haven't really heard anything from Ashton PERSON. Uh, who's the other guy? Uh, Jordan Whitehead PERSON. Does he come back basically on the same deal? Just like that two year, 14 and a half. Maybe, uh, the jet staff loves Jordan Whitehead PERSON. I know some of the fans don't,but the staff loves Jordan Wayhead PERSON. Let's see. If they'd give a second round, I would have traded the coach. I don't know. I don't think they got into compensation talk because I don't think the Jets ORG wanted to move him. So that ended that conversation probably pretty quickly. John Sauer says, all in on O a line, whatever it takes to four free agents draft to again,I want to maximize the free agency period or trade period ahead of the draft. So you're not forced. That's why I'm such a big fan. I've said it before, but I'll repeat it of signing Tyron Smith. You get a veteran left tackle in there. Matt Miller was on with the Jets. I tweeted out that video yesterday. Sign Tyron Smith PERSON and then get the best right tackle you can in the draft or ABT to right tackle. You have a lot more options if you add a Tyron Smith PERSON to the team.Without a Tyron Smith PERSON, what is the answer at left tackle? That's a big question. That is a massive question. And you don't want to have to forcibly answer that in the draft, in my opinion. Okay. It's Snoopy PERSON says rookie lineman struggle mostly. Why are fans begging for a rookie tackle? It should be a weapon or trade down. I don't think we can overarchingly say all rookie linemen struggle. I know you're saying mostly, so I'm, I'm, I guess putting words in your mouth, but you're like, you know, just because like tight ends, right.Just because tight ends have struggled to historically doesn't mean you can't take a tight end just because some rookie offensive linemen has been hit or miss. Some are superstars immediately. Some need work. The jets. Again, I don't want to be in a position where the Jets ORG have to take this or that. I hope, you know, one of the top three writers here is there.Okay, that's interesting. Joe Alt PERSON starts to slip, surprisingly. Okay, there we go. You know, I think there should be a combination of people. Rookies, trade, draft, it all. Let's see.Jared B. So here's a funny story so uh jared b PERSON says on youtube i'm surprised you're not talking about evans re-signing with tampa so here's my schedule here's how every day works so you guys can get a feeling so i do the show live obviously every day 7 30 in the morning it's like 20 30 minutes depends sometimes guess it could go longer have you. So it wraps up around eight-ish. That's when Boy Green Daily wraps up normally, give or take. And then I do Jets work, written articles, some interviews, whatever. I do all that crap. And then I leave the house about 830, 845 45 somewhere in that ballpark and i head to the radio station which is about 45 minutes to an hour away okay boop hop in the car my radio show starts at 10 so i normally get there you know 9 30 ish 9 45 ish something like that i normally like to bethere a lot earlier but having a baby at home it changes the plan anywho so i get in yesterday right i drive a show yeah boy green day oh great top of the car drive in my intern comes up and says hey can you read through my flash it's a 60 second update they read at the start of our show on the latest news and i'm starting to read it and the the interns of buffalo bills fan he says says Paul did you hear the Evans PERSON news and I just said no no wait no and he said look at the last story and I looked down on his printed sheet Mike Evans signs to your 52 million dollar deal that's how I found out because my Buffalo Bills ORG intern wroteit in his update I didn't hear it I was listening to a Jets ORG podcast on the way in so I was listening like the radio where hey breaking news Mike Evans says signed with the Bucs. He's not going anywhere. So that's how I found out yesterday. And I was just like, son of a gun. That reaction, the key and peel, son of a bitch. And he clears the table. That was my reaction. Son of a gun. again i know a lot of people said you know you know a lot of people said uh you know uh it was never realistic he was leaving i don't know all the reporting seemed to indicate that he was at least going to consider to leave and if you're the jets that's all you could hope for okay he's hitting the market let's prepare a pitch let's prepare a powerpoint slideshow of click click click aaron rogers PERSON click super bowl, click and all those sorts of things. But it didn't happen. So that's a Debbie PERSON downer. No question about it, Jared PERSON. No, no doubt. That's a Debbie PERSON downer. And the reason why I'm not talking about it until you just brought it up now.And this sucks now. I thought the timing was great. Now it's terrible. Tomorrow I have to double check that he's good to go. But Trevor Sycamore, Tampa Bay Buccaneers guy, NFL nfl ORG stock exchange all that jazz he's supposed to join us on the show tomorrow morning and i was hoping to go ah do you want to hand him over to the jets and now heresigned so that's going to be kind of awkward at the beginning yeah so we'll get plenty of mike evans talking tomorrow and things of other natures, some draft stuff and other things like that. Free agency look ahead and things of that nature. But that's why I haven't, because I knew I had Trevor Sikkim PERSON on the schedule. He's on the books for tomorrow. I got to double check and confirm his schedule, but he is joining us tomorrow. So there'll be plenty of that tomorrow. Unbelievable. OK. Snoopy says, guy on YouTube ORG, guys, seriously, the staff are trying to flee y'all really can't see the red flags again, I understand how some peoplecould look at the offensive coaching staff just running out the doors like, ooh, that's a red flag but I'm kind of like, again, the offense was terrible last year, so any changes on the offensive side of the ball is A-OK by me, pal so and Ulbrich PERSON ultimately didn't leave. So, he could have thrown a fit or did anything, and he did not. So, yeah, I'm not quite in that range there. And Ulbrich PERSON did not go. So, he ended up staying, ultimately. Okay. Oh, Phil PERSON, that's what you're saying.I would have loved to fire Salah and install Ulbricht PERSON as head coach. Yeah, I don't think that would have happened, but that's a pivot to use maybe to keep him to stay, I guess, but that did not happen. Ulbricht PERSON does deserve to get a shot, so we'll see. Lad McConkie, the Georgia kid.Phil asked, is there any chance he falls to third? I would imagine not. And the problem is, to be honest, a lot of those guys that were popular third-round picks, Ricky Pearsall, third-round pick, was a third-round pick option for the Jets ORG.It sounds like he's going much earlier. Xavier Leggett PERSON. That's one kind of Rogers had on NFL ORG stock exchange as a possible third round pick for the New York GPE jets. Yeah. I think there are going to be starting caliber receivers in the thirdround. I don't think it's lad my conkey. Unfortunately, I don't think it's a Pierce all from Florida GPE, but Xavier Leggett PERSON was the one that made it in the mock draft that dropped last night. So, uh, maybe, uh, Johnny PERSON, what an impossible question.Question for boy green. Who would you say is more important? MC two or DJ reading? Why I'd say MC two. And that hurts to say, um,both of them. It's a good question for multiple reasons. Multiple reasons. Excuse me. Both of them are it's a good question for multiple reasons, excuse me. Both of them are entering contract years. Again, if the Jets ORG know what they're doing, it makes sense for them from a cap perspective to re-sign DJ Reed first, because he's got a 15 million plus cap hit.So if you extended him, you could drop that number to create flexibility for now. Michael Carter, MC2, is making like a million bucks. So an extension probably won't help your cap this year, but it'll lock down one of your key pieces on the defensive side of the ball. I think MC2 ORG could play inside-outside. I'd rather keep him inside because, again, as we're seeing with AVT ORG,just because you can move all over the place doesn't necessarily mean you should. So MC2 ORG, just slot corners. Like in the NFL ORG, that's your base defense nowadays. That nickel is on the field all the frigging time. They're so critically important. And if you have a bad nickel, teams will put their best wide receivers in the slot and go to town. And it's so difficult. Like as a boundary corner, you always had, I used to play a little bit of corner in high school. You always had the boundary of the sideline that you could use as an extra defender. That's how we were taught from our coaches. When you're in the slot, they could go left, they could go right, they could go up, they could go down. Like you have so much ground to coverinside, outside, outside release, inside release. Like it's just such a difficult job and he's one of the best in the NFL. So hopefully Johnny PERSON, that answers your question. I think if you're for a gun to my head, I think MC2 ORG is more important. He is a homegrown guy, a guy you brought in. DJ Reed was a hired mercenary. Um, so I've heard Will Parkinson PERSON is one that brought it up on a show a couple of weeks ago that trade reed and promote from within save money and do all those things i hope they just keep all of them to be honest with you but if i was forcedto pick it's mc2 PERSON it is mc2 all right let's go through the last couple of comments here before we wrap up um i think he Matthias Simon PERSON says Aaron Rodgers PERSON is not the savior But what he is is the best quarterback We've had in a decade that goes a long way Aaron Rodgers is the best quarterback the Jets ORG have ever hadI love Joe Namath Chad Pennington You know Ken O'Brien PERSON come on man Aaron Rodgers PERSON is the savior And he's the best quarterback the Jets ORG have ever had Immediately Day one coming in Ryan, come on, man. Aaron Rodgers is the savior, and he's the best quarterback the Jets ORG have ever had.Immediately, day one, coming in, he's a Pro Football Hall of Famer ORG. William on YouTube, would Chris Jenkins PERSON be a solid DT? Chris Jenkins Sr PERSON. was an excellent defensive tackle. His son, Chris Jenkins Jr., is expected to go in the second round. Apparently, I heard Connor Rodgers' PERSON analysis. It was on the Jet show, live from the Comb round. Apparently I heard Connor Rogers analysis. It was on the jet show live from the combine. He doesn't believe Chris Jenkins jr PERSON. Shown a pass rush ability to a full maximum yet in college, but he's a great run stuffer, which is something that jets could use, which could be kind of interesting. And then I always loved legacy. You know, if there was a Lavernius Coles jr. Chad Pennington jr PERSON. I know he has a son out there. I can't remember what his name is, but you know, like the,the legacy players are cool, man. The legacy players are cool. Uh, let's go to Taylor. Uh, do you think on YouTube, do you think Tyron Smith PERSON is less likely to get hurt than Bakhtiari PERSON? Absolutely. Bakhtiari's like leg is exploded and he's recovering from surgery. Tyron Smith PERSON ain't recovering from anything. Like he had nagging things that he addressed throughout the season. Like he appeared in 13 of the 17 games.Bakhtiari, did he appear in any games this year? I don't even know the answer to that question. So he's just been chronically hurt. Like Tyron Smith has averaged 13 starts a year throughout his NFL ORG career. Much better than David Bakhtiari PERSON. He's missed like 36, 37games in the last three years, so hell yeah, I think Tyron Smith is less likely to get hurt. Absolutely, I do. Evans PERSON is always going to stay in Tampa Bay GPE. There is some of that thought.Oh, he definitely did. What a, yeah, he had Jared be my intern, Shetler PERSON. He definitely enjoyed that. What a dick. What a dick. He definitely did. When he handed me that sheet, I don't know if he knew if I knew, but he definitely brought it up. What a jerk. Absolutely. but he definitely brought it up. What a jerk. Absolutely.Let's go to ATNNJ on YouTube ORG. Hi, Boy Green PERSON. I don't think the injury-prone tackles on the market right now would be a good idea. With the turf, they have to work on it. We'll be deja vu 2023 once again. You can't be scared.Scared money don't make money, baby. ATN ORG. And, you know, everyone has bugaboos. Injury concerns, not as talented, whatever the case may be in free agency. You're going to have to look at all these ugly stepchildren out there and pick the one that you're willing to adopt. Go, eh, all right.Well, they all have baggage, but this one's baggage I'm willing to accept. So that's basically how I judge it. Tyron Smith PERSON is going into the Pro Football Hall of Fame for his overall career. He's coming off last season the number one pass protector of any offensive lineman in football. So he is going to the Hall of Fame ORG, and he's coming off an elite season where he's a second-team All-Pro. Sign me up. He's a guy I'm willing to put eggs in my basket in unequivocally is how I feel about it. But hey, different strokes, different folks. I get the turf thing.I get it. But yeah, man, I think he's a guy worth investing in. Solving left tackle out of the draft, I think, is really important. Okay, let's see. I say the jets do win at all. Oh boy. Uh, how many Hall of Fame quarterbacks have we had? One that is a Broadway Joe Namath PERSON. Ken O'Brien was a, you know, it's unfortunate that the jets pass on Dan Marino PERSON and thenthat's forever the legacy of Ken O'Brien PERSON, But Ken O'Brien was a really good player too. And I love Chad PERSON, obviously. The injuries robbed him. He, you know, one of the most accurate passers in NFL ORG history. His completion percentage number does not stand.
